Phillip reached up and took his phone, the numbers lit up to show that it was barely seven. Phillip plopped his head back down and cuddled into his wolf. “It's not even eight yet Scrit. Mom and dad wont be up for at least another hour."

Husvor was dressed and waited patiently, Phillip got dressed and put on his neckless that the dog had got him. He walked up to Husvor and gave him a kiss before walking out the door. The husky followed closely behind as they walked down the stairs to see Scrit laying half under the tree where all the presents were left.

“What are you doing?" Husvor asked.

The dog shifted back a little so he could look at the two. “I'm looking at who got what." he said, his tail wagging faster then it was before. Phillip just laughed and went over and plopped onto the couch, Husvor joining him shortly.

“Just don't open anything." Phillip stated which received a whine from the Dalmatian. Phillip couldn't help but laugh. “Need to wait for everyone else to get up."

“Alright." The dog said while he continued to look at the tags and sniff all the ones that had his name on it.

Phillip heard the door to the bathroom close and shortly after he could hear talking from up stairs. His mother came walking down the steps and wished them all good morning but stopped when she seen Scrit under the tree. She just shook her head and walked off into he kitchen. Blaferis came down and sat beside Phillip, giving the boy a kiss on his forehead. The boy leaned against the wolf while waiting for the others to come down.

Half an hour later everyone was sitting in the living room, Mike and Sarah both had their morning coffee while they watched both Phillip and James go through their stockings. Blaferis and Husvor watched with interest as they took out all the candy and small gifts. Husvor picking up one of the candies and popping it into his muzzle. Phillip just looked up and smiled up at his husky.

“Ok James hand out one present to each, the rest we'll put into the car." Mike said after they were done going through the stockings. James handed each one a present before telling them they could open them, there was laughing when Scrit held up a hand made scarf from Phillip's mother. Phillip could remember when James and himself both received the same thing few years ago. After the gifts were unwrapped and the paper was all put away Sarah went into the kitchen to fix breakfast while Mike went to accompany her. Phillip rushed up stairs and came back down with three little gifts and handed each one to the anthros.

They each opened their gifts and pulled out their bracelets, Phillip just smiled at them as they examined them before trying to put them on. Phillip walked over to Blaferis and clipped the wolf's gray one then did the same to Husvor's black. Scrit was last, he brought the boy into a big hug after his was on his wrist. The other two came up and joined the hug, Phillip just smiled as he was engulfed by the arms.

“Thanks." Scrit almost yelled. Phillip didn't need to hear it from the other two to know that they were both thankful as well.

“Marry Christmas." He said in reply.

The ride to his aunts house was mainly silent. Phillip was staring out the window the whole time but he really didn't need to say anything, the voices of both Blaferis and Husvor was enough to keep him occupied. Just being able to listen to what the two anthros were chatting about to each other put a smile in his face, The boy closed his eyes and leaned onto his husky.

As they pulled up the drive Phillip looked out to see his uncles jacked up truck parked in the middle, not enough room to be able to pull up beside it like the wide driveway was originally intended for. So Mike ended up parking half way up the drive to give them room in case Phillip's uncle has to pull out for any reason.

Once the vehicle was put into park everyone started to pile out. Phillip stood in between his anthros, still not wanting to be there. But with soothing thoughts coming from them did help a little. After grabbing an armful of gifts they walked up to the front door just to see it fly open, standing in the doorway was a young skinny blond woman. Upon seeing the family and anthros, she let out a sigh before turning around and headed into the house.

“Your other family is here!" She yelled.

Phillip and the group followed her in without another word, the distant family was already not making a great impression on the anthros.

The family walked into the living room to see a couple sitting across from Phillip's aunt, they all looked up and already can see their smile fade from thief faces.

“About time you guys got here." The women said while standing up and making her way to the kitchen.

“Sorry, didn't know that you were all going to be here already." Mike said while walking over to the tree and setting the gifts under it.

“Yes well we wanted to have an early start this morning." An older man said from the other corner of the room. “Guess you should have done the same thing." He added before taking a sip of what Phillip could guess was coffee.

“The thing that matters is that we are all here." Phillip's aunt said as she stood up and went over to give everyone a hug.

It was then the older man seem to realize the anthros standing behind the family. “And what may I ask are they doing here?" He said said a little sternly.

“They're with me." Phillip replayed in the same tone.

“Oh..." The man stood up and walked up to Phillip. “Thought you left."

“So I came back to be with the family for the holidays."

“And you think it's alright to bring these animals with you?"

“Eric!" The aunt said sternly.

All the Anthro's ears were now pinned back as they glared at the man, they knew now why they wouldn't like him one bit. Most people from this dimension were accepting of the Anthros coming to aid in fighting the Bragins but there where a few that believed that they were the cause and hated the Anthros for dragging them into a fight they didn't think they should have any part of, it was now obvious that Eric was one of them.

“Sorry mom that was rude of me." He had a smirk on his face that his mother couldn't see. “So please forgive my little out burst and please do come in."

The Anthros glared at the man for a second before walking in to take a seat in the living room, knowing that this was goin to be a long night.

(Anthro's dimension.)

The small group came to a small tent, they stop in front of their captain who was sitting at a desk observing the maps he had laid out, some of his men that just arrived was hunched over and was panting but a leopard from the group walked up to him.

“What's the status?" The bear asked without turning his sight from the desk.

“Sir, there is no reports of Bragins to be made down near the marsh."

The bear nodded. “Good to hear you took care of them, send out the other patrol then and get some rest."

The leopard shook his head. “No sir, I mean that we didn't see any the whole time."

The captain didn't like that and he looked at his men not believing them. “You sure there wasn't any?"

The men nodded. “Yes sir."

“Not good, there's always Bragins in the marsh." He looked down at the feline. “Get squad 5 leader from the other world here now and also I need some spirits sent out."

The bear's men took off without any other words. It was hours later when a doberman ran up to the tent and stood at attention. “Sorry for the delay sir."

“It's fine, I have a special but very important task for you." The bear said while moving some of the maps around.

The doberman smiled and was wagging his tail. “What can I do for you sir?"

The bear pointed at a small spot on the map, the dog walked up and leaned over to see the location which made him frown. “You and nine others is heading here for a small co-op mission. It wont take you long to get there but I'm not sure how long you guys will be out so make sure you have enough supplies."

“Sir, all do respect but thats heading deep into the Bragins's territory."

The bear shook his head and looked up at his best man. “I know, that's why I'm sending you. There was no reports of any Bragins in the marsh and from the messages I just got from nearby attack groups from other guilds, other heavily occupied areas have been abandoned as well."

The bear walked around and motioned for the dog to follow. “I want everyone of you to stay alert and three on watch at all times, one last thing." The bear looked over at the doberman. “Everyone will have a spirit with them so if you find anything or ambushed send one back immediately."

“Yes sir." The dog growled, not liking the situation.

One of the suns was almost setting by the time the group of ten took off on the mission, the thought of being away for sometime and going deep into enemy territory wasn't sitting well with any of them.

The group moved swiftly across the terrain, once they passed the marsh that they usually patrolled the land started to turn to lifeless land, the dead trees and jagged stones. The group saw some smoke up ahead so they crouched low to the ground as they started to come up to a small camp, upon surveying the area they determined that it was abandoned. The doberman walked up to one of the big tents and looked inside to see it's empty. The dog covered his snout from the stench while walking away.

“Sir, I have tracks here." One of the other anthros called out.

The dog walked over and seen a bunch of foot prints leading farther into Bragain territory. “Let's move." The dog commanded before the small group continued to move following the footprints. It was hours later, small group of anthros were now moving at a fast walk. Panting from exhaustion, the group was making their way up and around a cliff when A coyote's ears perked up.

“Sir." He quietly said.

“What?" The dog said but wasn't long before he heard screeching noises as well. They all hunkered down and started to move to the edge of the cliff to have a look over. “What the..." The squad leader mumbled.

The anthros gazed down at the massive gathering of Bragins on the plains that stretched out from the cliff. They didn't look long before they could hear some horns going off and the massive army started to move.

“Sir..." the coyote mumbled.

“Send a spirit back to the captain and inform him on the army." The doberman said.

“But sir..." The coyote whimpered.

The dog looked at the other canine. “What!" He growled.

The coyote looked back at the dog with the look of dread. “It's the direction the army is marching."

The dog looked up and had to think for a moment. “Shit..." He cursed before barking orders to unleash all the spirits but one to as many guilds as possible about the army and where they are possibly heading. Just as the last spirit was released they all heard loud thumping noise heading to them, they barely had time to draw their weapons when some Bragins that was climbing up the cliff came up over the edge and charged right for them.
