Chapter 2: Friends for Lunch, or Something More?

A loud and disturbing ringing came from an alarm clock next to Rin's bed, and with a groan and lift of his closest arm, was able to hit the snooze on it before yawning and sitting up slowly, rubbing the sleep from his eyes as his ears flopped back behind his head. As he finished dressing himself, Rin began to frantically look around for his soccer ball, wondering where it could have gotten to, then noticed it next to his roommate wolf's suitcase, that was still open and had a few clothes left in it. Rin then smiled and decided he could be a few minutes late. It was then that the bunny froze, his eyes focusing on the initials of the wolf that was labeled on the suitcase. 'R.H.' Rin shook his head as he frowned lightly. "R.H. Noreu Hotishima? Noreu was a bit pissed around noon. His teacher were nice, he understood easily, had little work that he didn't understand yet, and was a rather interesting place to be. Noreu nodded back then cocked his head towards his car, leading the other towards it to where he could open the trunk and put the pack in the back of it. "Well...I said that we could set up something for lunch, and well," spoke the wolf casually, a bit shocked still from finding the bunny here, as he lifted his paw and stuck out his thumb as if he'd be hitch-hiking and pointed it towards the cafe before continuing on. "Care to?"

"I'd be delighted to." Rin kept his smile, walking forward with the wolf, side by side, into the cafe.

It was one Rin was familiar with, and which a good portion of the young furs nodded towards the bunny, but gave a curious glance at the wolf they've never seen before. Rin only giggled as they found a seat that was greeted by the tiger, lion, and rhino that were there whom got up and let the two have their seats. In no time a young slender leopard female came up and asked for their orders.

"The usual." Smiled the bunny boy still, looking over to his wolf friend as he gets his own order from a menu that was handed to him.

"Eh...I'm just have a burger and a coke," said the wolf as he finally made his order a moment or so later, the waitress writing it down and nodding as both males turned to lock eyes to each other once more. "Glad I could see you again Rin."

"I wanted to ask you, exactly why did you take me to that door and shut us inside of it?" Noreu finally broke the light silence, watching as the flush started to slightly darken on the bunny's face as he cleared his throat to explain. But before he could, their meals were brought to them.

Noreu was handed his burger, done in nicely and smelled wonderful, along with his drink. Rin on the other hand got a large salad and a glass of water. The wolf smiled as he figured he wanted to keep in shape, and hell he did a good job of it.
