Chapter 1: First Meeting
#1 of Noreu and Rin
Author's Notes: Sorry about this everyone, but this Noreu here, I was stupid enough to forget my password to Yiffstar and my e-mail...since I haven't used it in so long... Anyways, the first two chapters shall be posted, then the third shall come soon after it. Leave me some comments on what you think everyone. I'd like to hear your feedback if you like my work.
Chapter 1: First Meeting
Things were seeming to be going fine that night, after Noreu had mad himself known to the city's club life after dropping his belongings off at his new dorm. His roommate wasn't in at the time, but it would be fine, he'd meet him later, but for now, Noreu needed some type of action. The anthro wolf was a fine specimen of his species. Standing right about a nice height of 6'5", he was just a couple of inches higher than most males and females, but then the rest he seemed to tower over. He weighed rather nicely for a wolf of the age of 21, coming around 152lbs. or so, which means he wasn't fat, yet wasn't skinny since he had muscles to prove it. His hair was a light brown that somewhat covered most of his forehead, parting lightly off to one side to slide down the left side of his face, hiding part of his left eye, accompanied by a pony tail that went close to 5 inches below his neck. The wolf's fur was a dark gray color, contrasting a bit to his hair and face, along with some of the clothing he wore, but didn't give a shit, he was who he was, and nobody could change that from him.
The wolf was walking around one of the clubs that was rather close to the college campus, seeing as though he was just transferred to the university for his studies, since his other school didn't have the proper materials to keep him going. This new college was said to have everything he needed to become an artist, and hell if he was going to be the best artist there is, he needed the best materials. He didn't look like an artist, oh hell no, dressed in semi-baggy dark blue jeans and a black muscle shirt with a leather jacket hanging over his right shoulder, showed absolutely nothing of an artist in him, but he just didn't draw and sketch whatever came to mind, he had certain targets to sketch. If he saw something that was the most beautiful thing ever, then he'd pull out a pencil and small sketchbook from the dashboard in his car and get to work. He did that once before, right in the middle of the road once. He had to slam on the gas so he didn't get his car hit in the tail end, pulled over, and went to sketching once more.
Noreu was just looking around at most of the females there, the felines, canines, lupine, vulpine, and every other species that was in the club, yet he constantly kept the side view of his eye on the males. He would never tell a damn soul this, but he was gay. He looked as if he could get every female in the building, but that's not what he was after, that was a cover up. Noreu never once told anyone that he was gay, except for those few that found out before last year and the year before that, but that's another story. But from then on in, he's always had his eyes looking over the different guys of everywhere he went, trying to find that one that might be able quench his own thirst.
It was about an hour or so after he'd been sitting at the bar, just talking and hanging out like normal, talking to both girls and guys, yet seeming to be interested in the females, which was somehow impossible to actually see that they believed him when some of the guys around, especially the bartender, could tell he was gay. But he just went with it, talking, drinking every now and then. To his hearts content he wanted to get trashed that night, but he already had a job set up before he left his old college and would be going tonight for the job "interview" which was just working after the boss showed him what to do. So for now, and sadly, he had to keep his drinks down, but that was when something else caught his eye and his attention immediately shifted to a small group of anthros walking through the club.
The group was somewhat small, 4 or 5 male furs, but hell, it wasn't the ones that were on the outsides that the wolf was looking to, it was the male bunny that was right in the center of it all. The male was dressed like the others, just the normal shirt and pants any gay fur might wear, because right when he saw the way that bunny gave looks to some of the guys, he knew exactly what he was looking for. The bunny was smaller than he was, guessing somewhere around 5'9", and dead on too, yet he didn't know exactly. He didn't guess his weight, wasn't that much to him, but could tell he probably weighed less, maybe 10 to 15 lbs or so, yet it was that dirty blonde hair, gray fur, and those damn eyes, those wonderfully damn eyes that he caught of glimpse of and idly licked his muzzle, yet nobody around him noticed.
"I have to talk to him.." Noreu whispered to himself, since the music was drowning most words out. "I have to talk to him...and see where he lives at. Man he's just beautiful." With his mind firmly set up, Noreu finished his drink, the last of the night, grabbed his leather jacket, and began to walk away from the bar after paying for the drinks and gave a bit of a tip, and silently he began to stalk after the group, that bunny in the middle. He had to at least talk with him, at least that much.
It took a while, and Noreu didn't notice that it was getting close to when he had to be at his new job, but it was at that chance, those last five minutes, that the group split apart and the bunny was alone. 'Now's my chance,' thought the wolf, and he began to approach the gray furred bunny. He took his time, wanting to at least get his attention first before he got close enough, and to his wonderful surprise, it seemed the rabbit was coming to him. He stopped when they were but a foot away, smiling down at the smaller male, and was rewarded with a smile as the bunny grabbed his arm and started to drag him off towards a door to the side. Noreu didn't know what the male was thinking, but it had to be something, and he had to at least get his name, so he went along.
After the bunny had opened the door, gotten the two in, and shut it again, they were in a small open space with stairs leading upwards and another door opposite of the one they entered labeled "EXIT." Noreu stood there for a moment, looking over the rabbit that brought him in here, as did the bunny look over the wolf, but more smoothly. Noreu only had about a minute or two left before he had to leave, had his watch set to the time, yet lost track of it as he kept looking at the rabbit. Suddenly the wolf just dropped his jacket, went over to the bunny, moved so that the smaller male's back was against the door, and pressed his paws to the outside of the rabbit's body, about shoulder length as he leaned in and kissed the male.
He felt some resistance at first, but then it started to show he liked it and began to kiss back, and even but more into the kiss, which was now what the wolf was doing as well. Time was almost out for Noreu and he moved back from the bunny, his breath slightly faster, looking to the rabbit who was almost mimicking his breathing, only yet he didn't mean to play a joke, it was from the kiss. Noreu smiled at the bunny again, who smiled back as he whispered towards one of his long ears as it hung down behind his head a little.
"Hey there bunny. The names Noreu Hotishima. What's yours?" The wolf's words were like a gentle and serene breeze blowing in the wind, almost entrancing if he wanted it to be, and got a faint shiver from the bunny, which was what he was hoping for before he let him speak back.
"Andrian Kalagi, yet everyone calls me Rin." The bunny answered back, and the wolf finally had a name to a face. Both smiled, about to go in for another kiss before Noreu's watch started to go off. He had to leave now or he'd miss his interview.
Letting out a rather painful sigh, the wolf moved back and bent down, picking up his jacket and dusting it off before putting it on, turning to the 'EXIT' door as he stopped once his paw had touched the knob. "Say, Rin. How about lunch tomorrow? Or somethin' like that." All he got from Rin was a nod and smile, and in that moment Noreu pulled out a piece of paper from his jacket pocket, a card somewhat, and handed it to Rin. It had his cell number, work number, and where he might be at certain times, still holding a smile before he opened the door. "Give me a call tomorrow Rin. We'll work somethin' out."
"Of course." Rin gave a nod and smile back, putting the card into one of his pockets as he watched the wolf exit and head off down the alley, probably to his car and off to go somewhere important. Rin turned around and headed back into the club, going around to find some of his friends to tell them a bit of the wolf he just met and how things would go. They all kept asking him questions about how the wolf looked and if any of them knew him, but Rin only shook his head and smiled. "Sorry ladies (he always used this term around his friends, just an inside joke to all of them), but this one is mine for the keeping."
Rin giggled then laughed as his friends tried to coax more out of him, but he wouldn't say a single word of the wolf to them except for the way he turned around and took charge before the kiss they shared. Rin gave another light giggle as him and his buddies stayed for an hour or so more before heading back. Rin headed towards the college, being a student there himself, he went straight up to his dorm to try and get some rest with that wolf on his mind. He took a shower first, hoping it would help with something to do about that wolf, but all he could feel were their lips touching as he was pressed against the door. His body gave a shiver, then he got out of the shower, dried himself off, and headed for bed, wearing nothing but his boxers as he slipped under his covers on his bed to the right side of the room.
Rin's eyes caught sight of a suitcase, some sketching boards, and who knows how much more drawing equipment was on his new roommate's bed and dresser. Rin had been hoping for a good roommate, one that would actually talk and not just sit there and study, like his last. Rin gave a small kick to his soccer ball near the bed and began to juggle it with his feet before letting it fall and roll to the middle of though. Before he turned to face the wall Rin looked once more back to the suitcase but couldn't see in the dull light of the room what the initials might have been on the suitcase, but the moon was rising and could shed its light right down onto it during the night, but Rin had already drifted off long before the time it did.
Sometime around then Noreu had pulled up to the school, went in to the main desk to make sure he got his key from earlier and the dorm number once more. Noreu was a bit exhausted, seeing as though his boss showed him what to do the first two times, which he memorized easily, but then put him to work for 4 straight hours after his drinks. It didn't help him. Making his way to his dorm door, he wondered if his roommate was already there. As he opened the door slowly, he first caught sight of all his belongings, smiling that he got his room right, but then as he walked in heard someone sleeping, so didn't turn off the light. The wolf tip-toed over to the bed and lifted his suitcase off to set it by the side of the bed, moving a few sketch boards as well to his dresser, although he almost tripped on a ball, though he couldn't see what type it was.
Once that was all done Noreu took off his shirt and jeans, tossed them to the end of his bed, and crawled into it, and once his head hit the pillow he was out like a light. The wolf didn't seem to pay much mind to his roommate, since he could see well in the dark, but was more worried of being quiet to not wake him up. The wolf's back was to his roommate's back, yet he still didn't know what species his roomy was, yet didn't care, as long as it was someone to be great to hang around with. Yet as both boys slept, the moonlight was shining down onto the suitcase and the soccer ball that was lying next to each other, initials on both objects seen in the light. The soccer ball was labeled "A.K." as the suitcase had on it "N.H." Andrian Kalagi and Noreu Hotishima.
To be continued.
