Ch3. Sold and a New Master

Kyo quickly jumped out of his bed and looked around the room. "Am I back home?" He asked when he realized that he was standing in his house once more. He looked down at himself and noticed that he wasn't wearing just pants and a collar but his actual cloths again. ‘It was just a dream' he said to himself as he sat down onto his bed and buried his face into his hands. ‘But it seemed so...' Kyo thought but was interrupted by a knocking at his door.

He quickly walked over to the door and opened it. As he opened the door his eyes soon came to tears as he saw the last person he thought would be standing in front of him. His village elder stood with a huge smile but it soon faded when he seen Kyo crying.

"Kyo what's...?" But Marcos couldn't finish his sentence before he was engulfed by a huge hug and his smile returned.

"I'm just glad to see you." Kyo said and heard the elder chuckle as he wrapped his arms around the teen. As they stood there in their hug Kyo thought that it was all just a bad dream.

Kyo closed his eyes as Marcos placed one of his hands on his head. "It's ok I'm here." He said trying to comfort him.

When Kyo opened his eyes the elder's arms just fell limply to his sides. ‘Something is wrong.' He thought as he felt his chest get warm but wet. Kyo took a step back and looked down at his chest and seen that it was all red. ‘What the hell.' When he looked at the elder's chest his eyes widened with horror. Marcos had 5 holes in his chest and when Kyo look up to his face he seen another one on his forehead. Kyo back away from him as his eyes started to tear up once more. When Kyo got a couple of steps away from him, Marcos fell on the floor face first and life less.

Kyo fell to his knees and griped his hands on both sides of his head as if it was about to burst and yelled. ‘This can't be happing.'

"What are you doing...?" Kyo opened his eyes to see where the voice came from. As he looked around the only ones there was Marcos and himself. When he looked at the body he seen Marcos's lips move. "Get up." He yelled. Kyo was at this point scared shitless and started to crawl backward away from the body. "Didn't you hear me...I said get up." He yelled once more. Kyo didn't know what to do at this point but he didn't see the shadow figure move behind him until it grabbed him by his neck and yanked on him.

Kyo's eyes opened as he was tossed out of his cage. "I said get the fuck up." A wolf growled.

Kyo landed on his stomach and he quickly scrambled to his feet. He looked around and noticed that all the other slaves have been taken out of their cages as well. Kyo looked up to the sky and seen that the sun hasn't even rose yet. A paw came up and gripped his jaw and pulled his face downward. He was now looking into the eyes of an old looking wolf that had a cane in his left hand. The wolf also wore a light pair of red paints and grey fur on his muzzle due to age.

"This is the prettiest looking slave yet Tags." The wolf said in a deep voice. Kyo couldn't help but blush at his comment. "But the bruises on his right side might take money away."

Tags shrugged. "Well if the little shit didn't jump off the side of the waterfall."

The old wolf started to laugh out loud. "That's the best lie yet."

"Man you never believe me Radge." Tag's ears folded back. "He jumped off a waterfall so that we wouldn't catch him." At this point he was staring right at Kyo. "Right?"

Kyo tried his best to nod but with the strong grip on his jaw it made it difficult. Radge smiled and let go of him and walked off up to the next slave. "Give him a blue collar." He yelled.

Tags clapped his hands together and jumped. "Yesss."

Kyo noticed Luke came up and took his old collar off and placed a nicer blue one on. "You're lucky. With this collar it means that you'll be expensive so you will either go to an alpha or noble." As soon as he had the collar on him he turned Kyo and led him into the cage.

Kyo looked around as he seen that the other slaves had newer but different color collars than his, he only seen 3 others that had blue but that was it. He looked at the other cages and seen the others were either crying or went back to sleep. Kyo thought that was a good idea and laid in the corner and slowly drifted asleep but that didn't last long till he heard a loud screeching noise and he opened his eyes to see a wagon with more humans chained to the back of it pull up. A slender looking wolf hopped off and stretched. He walked up to where tags and the old wolf were and started talking and laughing. Kyo turned his attention back to the wagon and noticed the humans chained to it also had the same collars on as the rest of them but none had a blue one. Kyo leaned back into the corner and looked up to the sky as he watched dawn approach

Right as soon as the sun started to raise wolves started to gather in front of the building and talk with each other or look at what they would be buying. Kyo was still looking up to the sky when he heard a small voice.

"Hi." He looked down and seen a young pup standing in front of his cage.

Kyo smiled at the small wolf. He knew the wolf had to be a girl because of the small dress she wore and a pink ribbon tied on her left ear. "Can you come here please?" She asked. Kyo got up and walked up to the front of the cage and knelt down so he was face to face with her. She put both paws between the bars and started to rub both of Kyo's cheeks. She soon turned around and yelled. "Daddy I want this one."

Kyo looked up to see a huge wolf walk up to the cage and gave Kyo's body a good look but stopped when he seen the blue collar. "Hun I won't be able to afford him."

After that comment the little pup jumped up and down screaming. "I want him daddy." The older wolf sighed and picked her up and started to nuzzle her as he walked off but even at a distance he could still hear the young pup yelling that she wanted him. It was like that for most of the morning; wolves would come up and look him over but then either curse or cringe at the sight of the collar he was wearing.

Kyo turned smiling to himself as he walked back to his corner. He sat down and continued to look at all the wolves that passed by. He noticed that they males were all buffed and wore just pants and once in a while one has some kind of armor while the women were all skinny and wore a dress. As he was staring at the wolves he heard the huge doors to the building open and Will stepped out. He put his paws to his muzzle and yelled. "We are about to start with the yellow collar slaves." Will looked around and seen that he had almost everyone's attention. "So if you would like to get on the bidding for them please make your way into the building. Thank you." Will turned and went back inside followed by most of the crowed.

He saw that about ten wolves started to gather all the slaves that had a yellow collar. They were taking them inside and as soon as the first one went inside Kyo heard the crowd inside starting to yell and make a lot of noise. He turned his attention to one of the wolves that started to yell that was outside.

"Stop bitch." All off a sudden a female human ran right in front of his cage. Unfortunately as soon as she got past his cage an ax flew through the air and hit her right in the back of her head. Blood went everywhere and the body lay lifeless. The wolf that threw the ax walked up to the body and stepped on her neck as he bent over to grip the handle then yanked the ax out. Once he got the ax free from the corpse he wiped it off with the female's clothing and tied it back onto his belt. The wolf looked at the rest of the slaves. "Let that be a warning to all of you. You try to run it's automatically death." He walked back to the group of slaves and started to take them in once more while some wolves came back to the corpse and drug her away by her feet.

Kyo felt a little bit sad for her but he didn't even know her so he laid back and waited till it was his turn to go inside. ‘They didn't even hesitate to take her life.' He thought. ‘This isn't going to be easy to live with these creatures if they would do that.' As he was thinking to himself till he noticed a wolf was staring at him. The wolf was mostly grey accept a white spot on his forehead. He wore a pair of lose black paints and has a sword strapped to his back, the wolf had a necklace that had a pendent of a wolf howling to a crescent moon. Kyo thought that the wolf actually looked beautiful but shook his head at that thought and when he looked back at the wolf he was actually chuckling then he started to walk over.

When he got to the cage he motioned for Kyo to come closer. Kyo's eyes went down to the ground as he advanced to the wolf and stopped right at the bars. The wolf placed his paw gently under Kyo's chin and lifted his head slightly as he looked Kyo over, he couldn't help but stair at the wolf's bright blue eyes.

"You're pretty for a slave..." He smiled. "Do you know that?" Kyo shook his head as he started to blush.

As the two stared at each other, Will came back outside. "We are now starting the red collars."

"Well that's my cue that I have to leave." The wolf said as he stepped back. "I hope I get to stay long enough to buy you." And then he walked away once again leaving Kyo all by himself.

He sat in his cage as he watched all of the red collar slaves go by but for some odd reason he couldn't get the grey wolf out of his head. By the time the orange collard slaves were taken inside Kyo had fallen asleep. He woke up startled when he heard a loud rapping at his cage. He looked up at the sores and seen that it was Tags he had a half a smile and a leash in his right paw. "Now let's see if you can be sold for twice as much as those other pathetic slaves." He opened the cage and motioned for Kyo to move. "Let's go." He said and Kyo did as he was told and moved out of the cage so Tags could put the leash on him. "Just remember what I told you and you'll be fine." He said as he turned once the leash was on and started to head into the building. To Kyo's surprise when he walked in everyone got quiet, which started to make him nervous, Tags led him to the center of the room. As Kyo looked around he noticed that all the wolves were sitting in stands that rise almost half way up it. The upper half had two floors with tables, as Kyo noticed that the ones sitting up on the higher level had nicer looking clothing.

Tags looked up at the crowd. "My lords and ladies..." He placed a paw on Kyo. "This will be our last slave for the day. If you would like to examine him before we start now will be your chance." It didn't take long till the wolves were pointing at him and talking amongst themselves. Some even came up and physically touched him, picking up his arms and looking at his muscles, opening his mouth and looking at all of his teeth, one even copped a feel. At this point Kyo felt really uneasy and Tags could see this, so he put his paws up in the air. "Now if you all would please take your seats and settle down then we can get started." All the wolves got quiet fast and waited patiently. "Ok. We are going to start at 100 pieces."

Soon a wolf yelled to Kyo's right. "100." Kyo looked over and seen the little pup and her father sitting with huge smiles on their faces.

But their smiles faded when they heard someone yell behind them. "250." And soon the numbers started to roll in.

Tags were trying his hardest to repeat the numbers but the wolves were yelling them out to fast. They bid was at about 1,500 pieces when out of nowhere they heard someone yell from high above. "5, 0000 pieces." Everyone looked over to the wolf that called and there on the top level stood a white wolf with a cloak that was tied over his left shoulder and under his right.

No said another word so tags called it off and bowed to the white wolf. "My lord he is all yours." He rose and took a quick look at everyone. "Thank you all for coming out this fine day and I hope you are happy with all of your purchases and as always you can pick up your new slaves outside and you also have one week to pay them off. Thank you once again. " He went over and grabbed Kyo's leash and lead him back out the door. "You are one lucky son of a bitch you know that." Kyo shook his head which made Tags chuckle. "I didn't think so. The one that bought you is the alpha of this distract." Kyo got a confusing look as if he was wondering if he was important or something. "I didn't think he was going to be here but can't help it now."

They walked up to the cage that Kyo was in when they seen a black wolf standing with his arms crossed. "My lord wants me to take him back to the palace."

Tags smiled and handed the leash to him. "Very well." And he looked at Kyo for the last time. "You won't have any trouble with this one." He said out load. "He listens well and really doesn't resist."

The black wolf nodded. "Good then less work will have to do in training him." He lightly tugged on the leash and Kyo started to follow the wolf. Kyo took one last look at Tag who gave him a small wave.

They went up to a wagon and got in. "It's about an hour till we get to the palace so I have time to clear things up with you." He sat on the seat and pointed at the floor. "First your name is slave till otherwise..." he started as Kyo sat on the floor in front of him. "Next you'll be up at sun rise and won't leave work till you are told and don't make any eye contact with anyone unless told."

The wagon soon started to move as they made their way away from the building and into the huge city. This will be your uniform." The wolf pulled out a pair of tight blue pants and tossed them to Kyo. "Put them on but still listen..." Kyo nodded as he started to strip in front of the wolf. "You are only to call the alpha and his family Master, everyone else that works there is sir or ma'am. Is that understood?"

"Yes sir." Kyo responded.

The black wolf smiled. "You learn quickly. That's good..." Kyo got done putting on his new paints and crossed his legs while sitting waiting for the wolf to continue. "The alpha has four offspring but the eldest is the only one that has pups at the palace. So be careful they like to play and bite." The wolf giggled a bit which made Kyo smile a little.

The wolf scratched the back of his head. "Well that's all I can think of but if you want to know anything now will be the time to ask."

"I want to know one thing si..." Kyo didn't finish his sentence due to the wagon hitting a bump making both of them jump up a little and fall back down but Kyo fell on his back and received a huge laugh from the wolf.

"Ok now what was it you were asking." He said trying to cover up his laugh.

Kyo sat back up with his legs crossed once more. "What's the difference between a noble and alpha?"

The wolf sat back in his seat. "Well I don't see why you need to know that slave but I guess I can educate you. You see this country is split into 20 different districts and each district has one alpha that rules it by birth right and nobles that is elected to rule small portions of the district called counties. Each noble has a certain quota they have to meet or the alpha could fire them and elect a new noble." Kyo was paying very close attention.

"So is master's eldest going to be the next alpha?" Kyo asked.

The wolf shook his head. "Normally yes but because the eldest has a family he doesn't have time to study and know the duties of being an alpha so it goes to the next eldest." Kyo nodded his head that indicated that he understood.

The wolf looked out the window and smiled. "There it is." Kyo looked behind him and seen a tall white building. "That's why this city is called Frostfort. The palace is white and looks like it has frost on it all year long." The wolf lay across the seat and closed his eyes. "We still have about a half an hour.

They finally arrived at the gate and when they came into the front a taller human walked up and opened the door. "Afternoon sir."

"Afternoon slave." The wolf said as he grabbed Kyo's leash and lead him inside. He turned to Kyo and smiled. "Oh by the way you can call me sir or Dusk." Looked up to the sky and continued his walk into the palace.

Kyo couldn't help but stare in amazement as they walked down the large halls. As they passed slaves he seen that they stopped what they were doing and stood at attention up agents the wall until Dusk and Kyo got in front of them and then they bowed.

"Sir." Kyo said quietly.

Dusk glanced back at him but continued walking. "What is it?"

"Why the slaves are stand against the wall and then bowing." Kyo asked a little bit louder.

"It's to show respect to us wolves." This time when he looked back a little bit longer. "And you'll have to do the same." Kyo looked down at the ground and nodded.

They ended up going out of the back of the palace and there was a small house out in the back. Dusk led Kyo to it and opened it up. "This is where you will be sleeping." Kyo looked inside and seen three stacked high bunks just long enough that his feet wont hang over the edge but they were only tall enough that once you get in them it's almost impossible to roll over.

"Ok slave." Dusk said to get Kyo's attention. "Follow me." And Kyo did just that as he followed dusk into the back door of the. As Dusk opened it as a bunch of stem came rolling out of the room. "This is the slave's bathroom." He closed the door and crossed his arms across his chest. "You have half an hour to clean up every night before you go to bed but I'd like you to take one right now and then met me in the front when you're done." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a new collar. "This is to never be taken off unless a wolf dose. Under stood?" Kyo nodded. "Good." Dusk turned and strolled out the way he came in.

Kyo walked into the steam room. Inside he noticed to his right a basket to get fresh towels and uniforms to his left. Kyo stripped out of his clothes and walked over to where he would be taking a bath at. It was a bench that had a scrub and a bucket of water. Kyo sighed as he sat down and started to scrub himself.

It was 15 minutes later that Kyo walked up into the front and found Dusk talking to another slave. When he spotted Kyo he told the slave to go work, the slave bowed and walked away. When Kyo got in front of Dusk the wolf grabbed him by his hair and sniffed him. "Good. You smell a lot better. Now follow me." Dusk led him into a large room where a long table was at that had chairs alongside it. "This is the alpha's dining area. You are to place the chairs on top of the table upside down then with the brush..." He pointed to a small bucket and a brush in the corner. "Scrub the floor." Dusk turned and started to make his way out of the room. "I will have someone come in later to help you finish up." And the wolf exited without another word.

Kyo sighed to himself ‘This is bull shit.' He started to put the chares up on the table upside down as he was instructed. Once all the chairs were on top he went over and grabbed the bush and bucket, got down on his knees then started to scrub the floor. He soon heard a lot of giggling and yelling as four young pups came busting into the room and running around it. Kyo tried to ignore them and continued his work.

"Are you new here?" Kyo turned to see one of them staring at him.

"Yes I am." Kyo looked over the wolf that stood about three feet and was grey except for white under his chin."

"I knew it because I never smelled your scent before." He walked up closer and sniffed Kyo. "Nope never smelled you before but I like it..." The pup smiled widely. "It reminds me of the forest up in the mountains.

Kyo smiled. "Thank you I'll take that as a comp..." but before Kyo could finish the pup fell forward as another pup slammed into his back landing on Kyo. Kyo fell backwards and knocked over the bucket as the soapy water went over the whole floor. The two started to wrestle as Kyo tried to get out of their way, as he did he stood and seen the big mess that just happened. "Damn this is going to take me all day." He said quietly.

But before long a huge voice roared over the room. "You pups stop now." The two pups stopped quickly and their ears flatten as their eyes moved to the door. Kyo turned to see where the voice came from as well. His eyes widened as he seen a white wolf standing in the door way holding the other two pups by their scruff.

It took Kyo a split second as he recognized the wolf. He was the one that bought him, the alpha. Kyo stood straight up and bowed. "Afternoon master." And rose back up but kept his eyes to the ground.

The alpha smiled. "I see you grown accustom to how things work here..." he walked up to the other two pups that were at this point standing nervously. "I like that in a slave. Learns quickly so there are no problems." Once he was in front of them he let the other two go. "Is this how we are going to act when we get a new slave? Just make a bigger mess for them to clean up." He growled.

All four pups stood side by side looking down with their tails down around their legs. "No grand dad." One of the pups said.

"We're sorry." Another one said.

The alpha looked at each one and smiled. "You will be. All four of you will clean up this mess then get ready for dinner."

All of the pup's heads shot up and jaws open as they started to complain. Kyo took a step forward. "Excuse me master."

The alpha looked at Kyo. "Yes slave."

"Um...it was just an accident." He was shifting nervously trying not to anger him more. "I can clean it up."

The alpha smiled. "That's generous of you and normally I would have you clean it up but I have other plans for you." Kyo didn't like the sound in the alphas voice. "Come." And he turned on his heels and started to walk out of the dining room.

Kyo walked out of the dining room close behind the alpha so he wouldn't get lost. They both ended up climbing 3 flights of stairs before the white wolf stopped. "This is the courters of your new master." He said as he opened the door. "It belongs to my third eldest son. He's not here right now because he is taking care of some matters with the guards but he'll be back soon."

Kyo walked into the large room and started to look around. "Master what am I going to be doing?"

The wolf smiled. "He'll explain everything to you when he gets here." The wolf started to head for the door. "Oh that reminds me. I'm no longer your master so you are to call me lord. Understand?"

"Yes lord....um." Kyo looked to the floor as the wolf approached him for fear that he was going to be scolded but instead the wolf let out a load laugh.

"I guess Dusk is losing his mind at his age..." the wolf places his paw on Kyo's head. "My name is Galle." With that he turned and headed for the door once more. "Oh...last thing my son might be in charge of the guards of the city and all but he is still acts like a puppy so watch out." Gal said as he disappeared out the door.

Kyo walked over to the window and stared out it and looked at all the wolves. "I wonder which one is my new master."

As Kyo stared out the window he wasn't aware of the door opening behind him as the wolf walked in. "Enjoying the view slave?"Kyo jumped a little and spun around quickly but once he got a sight of the figure, his eyes widened at the sight of his new master.
