Folvos's POV

We make it to the forest before I hear shouting behind us, I turn around and with the quick glance I see a wall of dark black clothes and a logo over their heart. He reaches for something in his pocket and so I run faster, but I try to keep Rose in front of me in case it is something to hurt us. "Try to hide behind the trees!" I call out to her as we reach the outskirts of the forest with a few trees around. I don't know what type of tree's they are but they have a lot of branches, quickly I leap up and pull myself into the branches. I follow Rose from above but I call out to her, "Rose, try to climb!" I say starting to get out of breath, I was never really a runner. I see her looking around but a lot of the lower branches are quite skinny and I'm not sure if they could even hold a pup. I look back and I see a figure in black approaching us, still too far out to do anything but it makes us search even faster for a branch. In the distance I see a small rocky outcropping and it looks like a place Rose could use to get up here with me. "Rose, you need to head over to the rocks, you might be able to climb into the trees once you get over there." I say pointing at the rocks, she looks over at them and then back to me, "I'll try, if this doesn't work I'm going to kill you if they don't" she says to me.
Running through the branches I feel my animalistic side start to take over, it's not something I enjoy doing but I let it take partial control over my body so I don't fall. Who knew it would work so well going through trees when I'm part wolf. We reach the rocks and Rose has started to climb up to the branches, trying to get away from the humans that were chasing us but I'm not sure if she will make it in time. I look around and reach down for her to try and grab onto my paw. I feel her paw brush mine and I grab onto it trying to pull her up. I manage to pull her up, I step back hoping to find a branch strong enough to hold me. My hind paw hit a branch, but it wasn't strong enough to hold me, there was a crackling noise and a small yelp was heard as I fell. "Folvos! Are you ok?" Rose called out, I lay on my back for a second taking stock of what happened before I start to get up to my feet. I hear, somewhere behind me, someone call out to another person and tell them to go towards where I am. It takes me a second to remember where I am but before I gather my thoughts I hear someone shout at me, "STOP RUNNING OR WE WILL SHOOT YOU!"
I turn to face the person who was chasing me and take a good look at him. He stands a bit taller than me and is covered in a black suit of armour not revealing any skin at all. A visor covers his face and it looks like there is some extra padding around his vital areas such as chest and head. His arms don't look padded but he has plenty of muscle there to make up for it, his body suit was struggling to cover his arms. He had in one of his hands, the other stabilising, a gun. Just a small handgun but a gun none the less. Slowly I put down the bag behind me and turn to look him in the eyes. "Rose, stay there." I say to her "This isn't a time to be stubborn." I say almost sensing her plan. "STOP TALKINNG" the man tries to command me. Again I look over his armour taking in all its features, there is some separation between his plates. Segmenting it and giving an ancient Greek type of look, as well as weak points. On the breastplate, left side is a logo that states AFAU with some smaller writing below, Ameh Federal Affairs Unit. I guess he is staring at me but I can't tell where he is looking behind his black visor. I glare at him before he reaches for his ear, "Where the hell are you? I've got one the other one must be close..." at that point Rose tried to jump down onto his back letting out a roar telling him where she was.
As fast as he could, he spins around to see her and catches her by her wrist pulling her down into the ground that was lightly covered in snow thanks to the snow that had started to fall. He bends her arm up behind her and she yelps out in pain. "You don't want to do this," I warn him feeling my blood start boiling and I have to clench my fists tightly to not lose control right there and then. She looks at me pleadingly and he just laughs pointing the gun at me again, "Do what, this?" He pushes her arm up higher and she cries out in pain again, tears forming in her eyes it breaks my resolve, "Yes THAT!" I let my animalistic side take full control and my mind blacks out, I know what happens next but he deserves it for trying to hurt Rose!
Rose's POV
Folvos was there one second and then it wasn't him, my vision was clouded through the tears in my eyes but I could see him changing. His claws were sharpening and his smile grew wild, the person who was holding me swore under his breath "What the hell?" He questioned before Folvos let out a roar that shook trees to the ground, then he was gone, the bag too. I didn't know where he was but I knew it wouldn't be long, Folvos wasn't one to let his animal side roam free, he had some control, didn't he? There was some rustling behind a tree before I heard the sound of metal grinding a rock. Folvos starts to sing along, slowly in a really creepy manor, to INSTINCT by Niic, sounding like his voice is coming from everywhere it starts to freak me out a little.
" Stand back, I'm breaking loose, gonna make a run for the hills, Stand back, Coming in fast, and you won't know what gave ya chills,"
As he says those words there is a rustling in the leaves behind us. The guard turns around fast and fires off a shot missing anything in his fright.
" Get back, Claws are all out and they're ready for the kill, it's time ,"
More rustling above us and I catch a blur of his fur, the guard has moved away from me and started to back up into a tree, moving his gun around at every little movement and noise. There is a slight pause and howl before he continues again.
" Now do you hear the call? There's a power deep down below, and we're letting it take control, we're gonna unleash it all, 'Cause when your heart starts racing, A force breaks from within.
It is,
THE INSTINCT!"
At those words I see a blur and the guards chin is being held up, Folvos with his claws wrapped around his neck, slowly sliding one across, only deep enough to cut the fabric the guard is covered in but it obviously frightens him. He points the gun backwards and blindly fires, hoping to get his captivator to release him. Folvos ducks just in time and it clips his ear. He howls out in pain and outrage, "You didn't want to do that!" Folvos screams at him, reaching around he grabs his throat, holding it tightly. The man drops his gun and starts grabbing at the hand wrapped around his throat, clawing pointlessly to try and remove the hands slowly starving him of oxygen. He starts to gasp a little and Folvos seems to smile wider, almost as if he is enjoying it. I turn away, I don't want to see what happens to him. I hear a knife being unsheathed, then a scream and eventually it starts to sound like someone gargling, I try to not listen, to think about anything else but I can't. It stops after a while and I turn around to see Folvos sitting there behind me. "I'm a monster," He says sadly to me, I see some blood on his paws and dribbling slowly from his ears, I know what ever is in the other direction is probably worse so I don't look. "You had too, no one wants to kill." I reply looking over him.
