Andy 4 - I Wanna Be A Rock Star!!
Caramel was sitting at the table with her head in her hands, trying desperately to shelter it from all the new thoughts she was bombarded with. "Who was that guy?" she thought, "And how did he speak my language?!!?" Her head sink down into her hands as she began to solve the mystery. After a large lie in, Andy pulled himself from bed with a smile on his face and a skip in his step. The night before had been the most exciting night of his life; the rush of performing on stage in front of so many people had been so exhilarating and he wanted more. "Mornin' Cara!" he chirped happily as he kissed her on the head, "Need some coffee?" Her troubles were far too deep for coffee as she turned to him in despair, "I'm in danger, Andy..." "Danger?" he scoffed in disbelief, "What danger? Know on knows you're here." "Someone does! A strange man told me last night that..." "Whoa, whoa, whoa," interrupted Andy, turning from the kettle, "A strange man? He's having you on Caramel!" "But he spoke in my language!!!" "And that's why you left the club? I wanted you to be there and you just left..." She turned away from him with her arms crossed, "Well you seemed to be getting on alright with that dancer..." Andy stood in silence at her statement. He grabbed his mug and dropped into the chair on the other side of the table. "Are you jealous?" he enquired. "N...no!" she remarked as she began to blush. The pair were caught in each other's sights until Caramel looked away, confirming Andy's suspicions. Not wanting to place her into a humiliating position he rested his hand on hers in reassurance. "I'm sure it was nothing. I won't let anyone get you!" She gave him a weak smile as the phone rang. Andy picked up the receiver, "Hello?" "Andy? It's Cassandra; good work last night at the bar!" "Thanks, you too!" "Anyway I was just calling to tell you the good news. The owner of the new stadium outside Urios was in the club last night and he was impressed. He wants the band to play at the concert tonight!" Andy could barely contain his swelling excitement as his voice became shrill, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!???!!?" "No, there's gunna be thousands there. We need you there by six, ‘kay?" Taking a deep breath Andy placed the phone down and stood in silence. After waiting for years for his break to come it was finally here; the feeling was so intense he didn't know how to express himself. He could not deny the wide smile ripping across his face as he jumped high into the air with his arms flailing, "I'M A RRROOOOCCCKKKK SSSTTTAARRR!!!!!" Sprung back into the kitchen and pulled the depressed Caramel from her seat, "Come on, I'm taking you out for some nosh!"
Caramel sat troubled at the table, swirling the straw in her strawberry milkshake, her thoughts distressed and her ears dropping. Andy crashed down on the other side of the table a slide a plate in front of her face. "I got you some carrot cake!" he giggled. Caramel just shunted the cake away and took a big swig of her milkshake. "Oh come on Caramel, you have to eat something." "I'm not hungry..." "Are you sure?" With a weak nod from Caramel, Andy dug his fork into the cake and began to chaotically shovel it down. Crumbs flew haphazardly across the table as Caramel's head just sank lower and lower. Andy stopped to question the depressed state of his companion. "What's the matter?" She gave a tentative sigh, "I don't know...That guy's voice sounded so familiar..." "It was nothing! Seriously, get over it!" "But how will I ever get home!!" she cried through her despair. The whole restaurant suddenly stopped as people stared in curiosity at the pair. "Take a bus?" came a patronising voice from the back. Caramel excused herself and rushed off to the bathroom as Andy continued munching through his cake. A mysterious figure, the same from the night at the club slipped under the table on the seat next to the occupied Andy in complete silence. "You truly are a fool!" hissed the dark figure with a groaning voice. Andy soon noticed that enigma and dropped his fork, "Who are you?" "The person who will kill you if you don't start doing things right. Why the hell are you outside?" "Er...It's a nice day?" "Insolent creature! Do you not realise how important that girl is? You need to get her away from this place, as far away as possible! She is in mortal danger!!" Andy hesitated before he replied, staring at the hooded anonymity, "Are you the fucker who approached Caramel the other night?" "Get her out of the city!!" he pleaded as he rushed off.
Pacing up and down the floor, constantly checking his watch, Andy had donned his favourite ‘Clutch' shirt in white and some haggard jeans. It seemed like his encounter with the mysterious figure earlier had not wavered his nerves as he waited patiently for his busy partner. "Come on Caramel, we're going to be late!" he called into the bedroom. Moments later a smiling Caramel appeared from the doorway. She wore a knee long white dress with cotton brown high boots and a thin jacket. "How do I look?" she asked eagerly, twirling slowly so he could see all of her. He gave her a cheeky wolf whistle as she playfully pushed him back. "Thanks for helping me Andy. I guess you were right; it was all in my head." Andy wrapped his arm around her shoulders and the pair were off.
The stadium itself was situated in the midst of a thick forest to the south of Urios. The stadium was destined in a sort of coliseum form with towers upon towers of seat surrounding a main stage and screen. Andy's stress kicked in seeing a few spectators searching for their seats, only small dots in the distance to him. The stage itself was huge, enough for four bands at least. Caramel pecked Andy on the cheek, "I'm gunna find a spot to watch. I'll be rooting for you!" Andy found the green rooms and meet up with his band. It seems that most of them were in a panic with each one looking in desperation at each other. "What's up guys?" questioned Andy in a concerned fashion. "Andy!" began Rick, "The first band hasn't turned up and they want us to open!" "...So?" "The opening act is always the most important!!!" "Whoa guys calm down!" The guys huddled around Andy as he tried to calm them all down. Even with his nerves shot, Andy knew he had to be brave. "We are The Hunters guys. We were good in practice and we were good at the club. We can do this." "Would the first band make their way to the stage," echoed the loudspeakers in the green room. Andy turned back to his band, staring hard at each one of them as if to judge them in turn for their bravery and courage. "Are you guys ready?" Smiles soon returned to the band members. They began to cheer and laugh as if the prospect of the gig was one of life's little troubles. The band marched their way proudly on stage. By this time the stadium was full to the brim with the crowd chanting wildly for their entertainment like the crowd watching the gladiators. Pushing his nerves deep within him, Andy steeped forward to the mic as his band set up behind. "Hello Urios!" he called with confidence, "We are The Hunters and we'll be rocking for you tonight!" He was surprised to find cheering and whistling as a reply. Caramel had found her place upon an upper balcony where she stood proudly overlooking the stage. The drum sticks clicked the time. Rick began the famous rift as the crowd began to cheer and chant, clapping to the time. The guitar screeched on deep into the night, echoing through the hills and forest. "This is Assassin!" screamed Andy as the drums came in. The crash of the cymbals and pounding of the snare drum brought the crowd to their feet. Soon the guitar stopped and the drums began it's heavy fill. Finally the main theme came in with the heavy crash and trillo guitar. Andy could see member of the crowd sway in time to the crashes as he began to jumping in mad elation. "WWWWAAAARRRRR IS OOOOVVVEEERRRDDDUUUEEE!!! THE TIME - HAS COME FOR YYYOOOUUU!!!" Andy tore the mic from it's stand and came right to the front. Even Caramel was rocking and nodding her head. The audience joined in as the chorus came loud. "LLLOOSSSEE CONTROL! AN INCREASING PACE!! WARPED AND BEWITCHED!! IN TIME TO ERASE!!!" The band were loving every second of it. Cassandra even stepped up to the mic and began to sing along with Andy. Soon the guitar screeched into the bridge with Rick and Cassandra playing back to back. Caramel stood on, giggling at Andy's antics yet not noticing a shady pair approach her from behind. "Well look what we have here!" Caramel turned to find the two rhino standing manically behind her, both eager to do their race justice with her capture. "Wh...who are you?" she questioned with fret in her voice. Both reached for a small, watch-like device on their wrists and, with the click of a button, both showed their true forms. Aliens of humungous build, nozzles for mouths, jet black eyes and a foot rather than legs. "I think you'll be coming with us..." In despair, Caramel jumped up to the railings and screamed for Andy, waving her arms ecstatically. One of the aliens grabbed her hair and began to pull her away. Caramel gave a sharp low kick so he would release his grip. She knew she was alone in this fight with only the echoing guitars to blame. Clenching her fists, she prepared herself for the fight ahead. She started with a kick to the mid-section and a flurry of punches to the second. She attempted a high kick before the second one grabbed her leg and flung her over the railings. She hit the crowd below with a thud.
Soon Andy's part of the concert was over with the final cymbal crash met with a standing ovation from the crowd. Andy rushed into his dressing room with a light head and the giggles like a school girl. His body was on fire with the sheer excitement of the moment; he held his heart to make sure it didn't burst from his chest. A subtle knocking on the door presented the entrance of a sweat cover Cassandra. "You're sweaty too, huh? That was an amazing show!" she cried. "Yeah I know! I feel so ALIVE!!" growled Andy, merry with his efforts. Cassandra approached Andy and came up close to him, stretching to get her face to his, "Y'know I think you're something else... Talented, kind, cute..." Without a second thought, she dragged him close for a deep kiss. Andy pulled back and recoiled in defence, "Cassandra! We can't do this!!!" "Why not," she sighed, "We're both single and horny. Let's do this!" Andy looked down to discover even his own body had turned against him, his erection standing proud and keen. Something inside of Andy told him not to; as if he would be cheating on another if he did. Caramel's words echoed deep in his mind and rung out through his head. "My prince is waiting for me." Pressing away his incline, he disrobed and joined a now naked Cassandra on the sofa.
Caramel burst through Andy's dressing room door, bruised and bloody with her hand supporting her injured shoulder. "ANDY!!! THEY'RE AFTER M..." When her sight meet the two on the sofa, her heart sank. "Caramel?!!?" With tear filled eyes, Caramel rushed from the room with Andy pulling on a dressing gown in hot pursuit. "Caramel, please!" "I have nothing to say to you." With her limp, Andy easily caught up with her and blocked her path. He looked deeply into her eyes as if to read her soul. "What did I do?" "You are so thoughtless! I was fighting for my life and you were banging the bassist!!!" "But that's not what this is about. You were jealous...That's why you didn't stay in the rooms for safety." "But I thought..." "But you have a ‘prince'? Why would you care about some pathetic, dim-witted earth creature like me? I finally get a chance at my dreams and you need up in a scrap with some twats in the back and miss my performance!" Hesitating slightly to search for an answer, Caramel stormed away from Andy in anger at his arrogance. (((Why was I so lazy on this one? I'm very sorry...this series has taken a boring turn for the worst and my patience was not enough. I guess this is simply a filler story.)))
