"S-So.. this is basically another world?" Jason exclaimed once more, shrouded in disbelief.

"Ne, are you really that slow?" Kiyoshi's eye rose, keeping his smiling face on. "I just said it once, I really see no point of repeating it again." The male snickered as he patted his hand over the Lucario's head, ruffling it as he slowly walked down the hill, gesturing for the three again to follow him. "Come on, I'll be showing something." he said walking off.

Hands in his pockets, Raiki silently followed the blonde male as did the other two as they saw the Luxrays departure. Rakuen was a lovely paradise, the waterfalls, lakes and rivers. Magnificent bodies of water, remarkable and enchanting forests. The world was once a desolate wasteland, but to the works of the hermit, Furui, the beauty of this place was restored. And he kept it's eloquence in tact all these years, through his presence, the land flourished and did not decay. The strength of the balance was a formidable force indeed, it was an omnipresent force that guided the strength of all Pokemon.

Jason felt the radiating aura of the old hermit for where he stood, and he was amazed at how it just had hit him forcefully in the face. Truly, this being was an entity to be dealt with caution.

The four had soon managed to halt their walking as they reached a shrine of some sort, a temple, it was. More of a gate. Lush trees surrounded them, as if they had walked through a forest all along. The Lucario could feel strong radiation of aura from within, as if someone of something was calling him inside. This elected a shiver from the young male's spine as he hesitantly gazed at the two statues depicting the facial structure of Furui, a man wielding the traditional samurai armor.

"This guy's a.. samurai, right?" Jason asked, quite intrigued.

"His armor was based off the samurais, but no. As far as I've read, these types of modified pieces of armor are worn by vagabond officers of war. Meaning, they serve no actual ruler, but serve as vigilante or mercenaries." Guren explained as she made off with the details of the craftsmanship. Her eyes glowed purple as she scanned over the the statues.

"How have I forgotten, Gardevoirs can see glimpses of the future now can they? So do Gallades as well, it's quite annoying, really. Kanpeki always knows where I'll be and what I'm doing" Kiyoshi chuckled lightly, putting has hand over his hip.

"Ah, you know Guren's brother?" Jason asked.

"How could I not?" Kiyoshi said, arms spread wide, giving Jason a big smile. "We've been friends ever since we were little children, babies even!" Kiyoshi have another light hearted chuckle.

'Geez, does this guy ever stop being happy?' A fake smile Jason wore, as a sweat drop formed on his temple, trying to hide his uneasiness. 'Man, I can't even sense his aura. This guy's really dangerous. It's like he isn't even happy.. just.. blank.'

"Ah, just as expected. These statues were made during the Sengoku era, when a civil war rose in Japan. They were made by the cultists that resided in Rakuen, during that time. This place was their only refuge from the war. They were also former students of Furui himself, and his teachings were passed on from generation to generation." Guren explained as her eyes faded back into a scarlet red.

"Oi, no use hiding, I can see you from here." Raiki called out, both hands resting behind his head as he glared across the darkness in the trees.

"Good pair of eyes, just like Furui-sama himself." A mysterious, slightly pitched higher voice called out as a robed man exited the darkness of the forest. The figure was built, and his features looked normal. White strands of hair peeked out, indicating that it was the color of his follicles. His hair indicated age, but he himself did not look sickly and old at all. In fact, his voice sounded like an adolescent male in his mid twenties.

"Ah, beautiful." He called out eyeing Raiki, a pale hand, caressed the young teenager's cheek as his eyes gazed in admiration. "Your features are just like Furui-sama's. And the complexion of your skin, very alluring." A small hint of pink reached Raiki's nose as he swatted away the hand of the oddly dressed male.

The robed man said as he took off his hood and showed his brightly young face. "You may call me Fukachi, and I am a follower of the Fuun."

"The.. Fuun?" Jason asked, his guard constantly up due to the emitting presence of the man. Something did not seem... normal. "What are the Fuun?"

"Fuun is basically balance in Equotian, the language of this mountain. The peak is what the common folk call 'the Balance'. The Balance or the Fuun as we call it, harbored many passages of knowledge that were passed onto Furui-sama. And then taught to his successors. And then eventually, passed on to us." Fukachi explained as he flashed a nonchalant gaze at Raiki, a hint of pink formed once more at the introvert Luxray as he looked away.

'He looks so young for a leader of a cult..' Raiki's thoughts rammed each other, as he rambled on about in a mental argument with himself. There was something he didn't expect of this man, and seemingly enough, he wanted to know.

"Oi, you. You don't look like you were born into this.. cult." Raiki remarked, not caring if personal boundaries of the man were being violated.

"Ohoho.." the male cackled. "That's true. This is only a hobby of mine. Today just seem needed that I visit the temple entrance." he cooed. "I felt an overwhelming presence in one of my visions."

"Haven't I seen you before, though?" Raiki said, eyeing the robed man with his amber eyes.

"Oh. You don't know, but I know a lot of you more than you realize." The male cooed mysteriously as it sent a tingle down the Luxray's spine. Know of? Does he.. know something of his past? It was only an omen that he was able to meet this adversary, but he seems so wise for someone his age.

"Anyway, this temple is only but a gate to the real shrine. Only a few have entered it without our help." Fukachi remarked, his red eyes darting towards the entrance. But then his expression looked startled, his spine tingling in fear as he smiled, directing his eyes towards the blonde male they were with. "I see, so you're.. Interesting." A cold sweat broke n the cultist's temple.

Kiyoshi looked behind him, to his right then to his left as he pointed a lone finger towards him, cocking his head sideways, while giving an unnecessary smile. "Me?" he asked coyly, as if trying to mock the odd person. "I suggest you leave us be, you wouldn't want to tangle with me. These children are my responsibility, so if you may as well humble yourself as to leave." Kiyoshi stated, his smile unfaltering.

A dark chuckle came from the odd man, as he shook his head, taking steps backward; further into the darkness. Turning his back to leave, he looked back at the four, smiling creepily. "We'll meet again. Especially you." Fukachi's eyes dilated as he flashed his purple orbs towards the Luxray. Raiki, however, was unfazed, since he felt like he could actually take on the odd individual.

"That was.. entertaining." Jason spoke up, trying to lighten the mood up a bit, as Kiyoshi flashed a sincere smile at him.

"That it is, let's go inside." Ruffling the Lucario's hair, the blonde signaled for them to enter the shrine. Who was that man, though? He seemed to know a lot about Raiki and Kiyoshi himself. Those were the things rambling around Jason's head as he paced into the creepy shrine before him.

As they entered, the shrine was adorned with paper seals and prayer emas. The place was given an outward glow due to the statues being present. The figure who was made seemed have some resemblance to Raiki in some sort of way, he must have been Furui. He had a very ancient look, adorning a Chinese-style moustache and beard, his eyebrows were very thick as well and he looked very prestigious due to the armor and cloth he wore. Kiyoshi's crimson eyes gazed at the statues with such disdain, as if not liking the atmosphere inside.

"The real temple is somewhere only those sages can access. They've been meddling with this area, which is strictly Bureau-only premises. Therefore, we make it a point to apprehend them as soon as possible. Byakurai-sama ordered that their immediate expulsion as their group has access to this world and ours. We have no exact leads to their true intentions, but we believe that they have something to do with the prophecy." Kiyoshi explained as he walked, fingers touching the murky walls of the run down temple. "Personally, this temple isn't very well maintained. So I wouldn't mind the cultists staying here, but orders are orders." the male chuckled lightly as he gazed at the exit, heading towards it. "I'll just let you explore this for the moment."

"R-Raiki.. your.. tattoo." Jason's eyes widened as he pointed towards the neck of the Luxray, electing a glare from the feline.

"What is it you--" Amber pupils moved towards the far end of his sclera, assuming that he has been utilizing his peripheral vision. A yellow light glowed on the side of Raiki's neck, shining immensely as it revealed the ancient writing from the walls. Then, Raiki's eyes faded into the glorious shade of gold. Gloved hands grasped against his scalp as he tried to control the power from within his body, erupting in a boisterous fashion. As if Raiki's being had vanished, it feels as if a new spirit has possessed the body of the Luxray.

"The end.. is near." Voices of different tones erupted from the possessed male. Raiki felt like a new person, wisdom overflowing in his words.. in his voice. "Find me in the Garden of Balance, and you will know truth--" Just then, a hand pierced through Raiki chest from behind. The protruding hand glowing in a vibrant mint green had stopped the spirit from taking over the teenage boy. The initiator was none other than the King of Spirits, Kiyoshi Kitsune.

"You're... very perceptive." The possessed body's eyes gazed behind him, Raiki's hand flashing into a powerful spark of energy, adorned with both black and lightning sparks; quickly trying to dispatch the blonde from trying to remove the spirit from the boy's body. "King of Spirits, I believe you know who we are.. with the time you've been spending in the Spirit Realm." the voices echoed.

Kiyoshi dodged backwards as he fell silent, eyes glaring furiously at the possessed body of Raiki. His eyes slowly faded into a shade of royal purple, sclera turning black in the process, as if trying to decipher the paradox before him. Jason blockaded the Gardevoir from interrupting their little squabble, seeing as he believed she did not possess the skills to defend herself. Guren, unable to do anything listened to the Lucario and held their ground and let the Ninetales do his work.

"Those little trinkets of yours..The Eyes of Samsara." the voices echoed once more, eyebrows creasing, the spirit became more agitated to fight the Ninetales as his own sclera became that of golden streaks, pupils becoming one with the color of the sky. "Yes, you are an unbridled and worthy opponent." Raiki's middle and index finger struck at the air, a golden Japanese symbol shone brightly. "Karukenkei!" The voices shouted as Kiyoshi eyes widened, grabbing both Jason and Guren, soul stepping outside of the temple.

The insides of the temple have been obliterated as smoke and ash forcefully made its exit outside of the entrance of the temple. Kiyoshi shielded the two by hugging both of them closely, allowing the debris to assault his back. After the rubble had settled, the Ninetales turned around, not a scratch seen on him. The dust was heavy and he could not see the possessed body of Raiki, even with his 'Eyes of Samsara' as the spirit had named; a shadow then appeared. The possessed Raiki then darted with his gloved hands attempting to reach for the neck of the blonde Soul-Step master with powerful cross-black and white lightning screeching from his fingertips.

Kiyoshi's body quickly reacted by side stepping and grabbing ahold of the possessed teen's wrist, slamming it across the ground, causing the earth to shake and dust to violently scatter around the field. Raiki's body then spun around, causing Kiyoshi to close grip as he delivered a spinning kick towards the blonde male, Kiyoshi then blocking it with his forearms, causing a powerful shockwave that blew away all the dust and rubble.

Jason protected Guren from the rubble and the disruptive attacks from their almost ungodly fight. Jason ran with Guren to a safe distance to where they cannot be harmed from their inhuman fighting. Just then, a telepathic message came from Kiyoshi that transmitted into both their heads and it had said: 'Get Guren out of here, and call the medics. I shall handle this situation myself.'

Jason's brows creased. "Do you think.. Raiki'll survive this after he comes to?" he asked both Guren and himself. "Is that Kiyoshi really willing to risk the guy's life so carelessly?" Being a justificarian, Jason was bent on rights and honor in battle, seeing as Kiyoshi had a potential to fatally wound the Luxray was wrong in his view.

"I don't think he harmed Raiki physically like that." Guren said, seeing as Kiyoshi had powers beyond control in the spirit realm, it might have been an attempt to ward away the spirit from Raiki. "I've never seen a spirit with that much pressure. It isn't a normal one too. Almost nothing can ever possess Raiki like that, his grasp on the spirit realm is powerful."

"What do you mean?" Jason asked as their running came slower as they distanced themselves from the fight.

"Soul steppers are.. prone to possessions if not handled properly. But, so far, this spirit that possessed Raiki is not from the realm of spirits at all. It seems that he is directly grasping his contract with the realm. Someone is manipulating him." Guren explained quite confused and concerned for his long time friend.

"I-I see." A cold sweat broke through the male's temple, seeing the precautions of a powerful technique. "I guess every ability has its risks too."

".. Raiki went to a lot of painful stuff to be able to awaken into the realm of spirits." Guren said, electing another cold sweat from the Lucario. "A lot has happened before you came, he's went through a lot. Even lost someone he really cared for." Guren creased her brows, as if trying to glare at the ground. It seemed she didn't like speaking about that topic.

"It's fine. I know that feeling, this is just protocol." Jason then halted, as he looked behind him, seeing the dust and rubble settle once more. "I'm not going to stand by and see you lose someone you care about, please get the medics in my stead." he declared, as he put both his hands together, fingers forming a hand seal as he disappeared into thin air.

"--!!" Guren's eyes widened at the immense display of speed shown by the Lucario. It seems his records were correct, he was trained diligently. Without second thought, seeing as she cannot stop the rogue right now, she headed back to the headquarters to get the medics after the fight has subsided.

--

"Your futile chances of winning are nil." the possessed boy spoke, his jacket tattered to the fight. Kiyoshi then smiled at the boy, blood coursing from his forehead, electing a very unusual aura. The blond Ninetales revealed all his tails as his Eyes of Samsara began to fade away.

'This person.. he's even exhausted my use of these eyes.' With a smiling face, Kiyoshi was exhausted underneath the mask. His smiling visage was just something keep the enemy's morale from increasing. "No one's ever exhausted my eyes before. You're a real pain in the ass, are you?" the male joked, chuckling in the process.

"I'm just getting started." Raiki said, his eyes turning sky-blue, sclera shifting back into a titanium white. "I think you recognize these eyes. I guess it's time to drop the act and get serious, hm?" the male chuckled darkly as Kiyoshi's face faded into a grimacing shock.

'The Eyes of Nirvana!' Kiyoshi shouted inside his mind, his eyes could not believe what he had seen. "Impossible. There's only one person who can--!!" But he was interrupted before he could finish his sentence. A hand grabbed his neck, blood making its course out the Ninetales' throat, red crimson liquid splattering across a maniacally laughing enemy. Who was he? Someone powerful enough to control a soul step user, and put the King of Spirits in a precarious position? He was a formidable enemy, that was for sure.

"Ahahaha!!-- Ghrk!" Suddenly, as the possessed Raiki was almost sending the master into the brink of death as kick that burned brightly as the sun hit his face. Raiki held his slightly burnt up face as he panted in exhaustion. "Rrkk!.. M-My, my." he chuckled darkly once more.

"That's payback for the damaged arm you gave me." Jason retorted, his arm still bandaged up from the electric shock the Luxray gave him earlier. Although, he was well aware of Raiki's possession and just took advantage of it. Even though he had not assumed combat for a long time, his Blaze Kick was still as unparalleled as ever.

'So he's part Fire type, is he?' Kiyoshi thought to himself, his Eyes of Samsara forming slightly on his right eye, analyzing the male's attributes and abilities. Wiping the crimson liquid from under his lips, the Ninetales stood up, seeming powerful as ever. "Listen up, since you've piqued my interest, I'm going to release 30% of my power." The blonde tilted his head, smiling as a purple aura enveloped his body. The dark aura gave his smile an ambient evil to it, it was spine chilling. Red eyes then looked over Jason who seemed to want to fight.

"Jason-kun, retreat immediately. I can take him." Kiyoshi called out for the Lucario. But before he could protest, Jason could feel the intense aura erupting from the male's insides. This power was overwhelming, Jason had seen his conviction and strength and knew he would be fine without him

'This power... he's not bluffing. It's not even at full power!' With widened eyes, the Lucario jumped backwards letting the Ninetales take the lead.

Kiyoshi then smiled at the boy, as he readied a fighting stance. As Raiki had recovered from the flaming kick the Lucario delivered, the spirit inside him had been more aggravated. The male took his tattered leather jacket off, removed his gloves and his under shirt as well, revealing a tan and well built body. Raiki's face turned serious as his eyes were still adorned with the dreaded Eyes of Nirvana.

"Very peachy, lets see how you handle this volatile child's power then!" the male cackled as he released a large amount of electricity from the conductive Raiki. Raiki's eyes then sparked with electricity as he quickly darted towards Kiyoshi delivering a lightning-filled punch that landed perfectly on his face. The male continued with a kick, a knee and another hard spinning kick to the blonde's face. Bruises and abrasions were visible on the Ninetales' face, but he did not show any initiative to fight back.

Jason then tried to retaliate but the blonde stopped him, his eyes barely seeing due to the amount of beating he had received. Raiki the continued with the carnage he delivered, beating the blonde's face up with inhumanly fast punches and kicks. Kiyoshi seemed to be at door's end after that. 'What is he doing?!' Jason shouted inside his head, itching to intervene.

"Is this all your 30% of power can do? You had me worried for a second." Ripples of electricity enveloped the male like a demon created from lightning, as he slowly gazed upon the defeated blonde. Kiyoshi spat blood onto the ground, creating a large puddle of crimson liquid, his face beaten to a pulp and his breathing to a mere wheeze.

'This is bad, if this continues, he'll--' Jason gazed at the helpless male, disobeying his orders as he prepared himself for battle. The Lucario lunged himself at the possessed demon of lightning. Jason's fist glowed a titanium white as it shone brightly, he directed the attack towards Raiki who was looking to retaliate as well. The two closed in on proximity, both their right hands enveloped in their own element. "Power-Up Punch!" the Lucario exclaimed.

The punch created a dust cloud, the earth shattered from the intense force created in the Lucario's attack. Jason panted, the attack taking a lot of energy from his body. He had hoped he had blasted his adversary to kingdom come, seeing as he put a powerful increase of aura into the punch. It had the potential to kill. Then suddenly, a dark cackle came from behind him.

"Kiyoshi, is this your new protege? He seems weak." The male said, a howling spark of lightning of black and white erupting from within his fingertips. "It's such shame you had to die young." Raiki formed his hand into a chop-like figure, lunging it towards the back of his heart. As Jason's eyes widened in realization, he turned around. Time looked like ti froze as it continued in a slow motion, the hit slowly making its way to a fatal point.

But before it could even land, Kiyoshi had soul stepped to the middle of them, taking the male's arm and forcefully plunging it towards his chest. Blood erupted from the throat of the male, Raiki's hand still embedded with the extraordinary form of lightning, as his heart was targeted. Jason had only stared back, gasping at the event. Kiyoshi's life has come to an abrupt end.
