The Ballad of Murphy and Luna Wolf

By Carl Blessing/Murphy Slaugh

Out of all of the furs in the entire fandom,

What is it about this marten that made you choose me?

I'm nobody special, I'm just an old marten.

What in me does does a beautiful wolf like you see?

Murphy and Luna, wolf and marten.

Two different furs with similar hearts.

By ourselves, we're each an incomplete part, and

Yet whole we're more than the sum of our parts.

We kept meeting each other together in passing,

Looking for love in the wrong place.

But soon enough we found each other,

Soon we'll both meet face to face.

Murphy and Luna, wolf and marten.

Two different furs with similar hearts.

By ourselves, we're each an incomplete part, and

Yet whole we're more than the sum of our parts.

Your smile and your laughter, both enchant me.

Your love for me is more than I deserve.

But from your tender, loving arms,

I will never ever swerve.

Now that I've found you, I'll never leave you.

Nor will I ever let you go.

I love you forever, in good or bad whether.

I just have to let you know.

Murphy and Luna, wolf and marten.

Two different furs with similar hearts.

By ourselves, we're each an incomplete part, and

Yet whole we're more than the sum of our parts.

Murphy and Luna, wolf and marten.

Two different furs with similar hearts.

By ourselves, we're each an incomplete part, and

Yet whole we're more than the sum of our parts.
