5:55 AM
As the early sunrise peaked over the mountains, and the cool breeze blew through the open window, Sariah Sand opened her eyes and yawned widely, her long ears twitching, "What a beautiful morning!" She thought to herself. Getting out of bed, she stretched her arms widely, yawning even wider than last time, "Busy day ahead." she thought. As she opened her cupboard and picked a nice green dress, she made sure her room was neat before she left, neatening the bed, washing out the basin, and giving the place a quick sweep, by the time she left it was 6:15 AM, and the rest of the residents were waking up. As she set out to meet her friend Rose at their market stall. When she arrived at the market she found that Rose had already set up the stall, Rose was an elderly women the grey hair and silver eyes, and a very friendly personality. Rose and Sahriah sold mainly vegetables at the market, supplied by Rose's husband, who owned his own farm.
"It's the same thing day in, and day out." Sahriah though, it was now 2:00 PM and the market was full, people would approach their stall, inspect the vegetables, buy the vegetables, then another person would come by and repeat the cycle, "Suppose I should just be grateful we're making a profit" She smiled meekly. But she spotted a familiar young fox coming this way, an orange fox with brown eyes, named Tor. Ever since her first week helping Rose at the stall, she had had seen Tor everyday, it was no secret he had a monster crush on her, always smiling at her, joking with her, and bringing her the occasional flower. But this time he had a huge grin on his face, "Hello Sahriah." He said happily as he approached the stall, "I've got a gift for you today" He said with an even bigger grin. From behind his back he presented her with a whole bouquet of perfectly red roses, Sahriah couldn't help but blush as she nervously accepted the gift, "What is this sly young fox up to?" She thought. Upon that thought Tor had cleared his throat, Sahriah pricked up her ears waiting to hear what she knew he was going to say.
"Sahriah..." Tor started nervously, "I-I-I was h-h-hoping you could j-join me for a walk down by the s-s-seaside tomorrow, if you're not doing anything else that is?" Blushing brighter than the roses themselves she replied, "Why yes Tor, I would love to." The young fox's eyes lit up with excitement, "R-really? Y-y-you would?" He stammered, She nodded. His grin got even wider, "I'll see you tomorrow then?" He was about to leave when Sariah leaned forward to give him a quick peck on the cheek, The young fox's face went redder than her own, "I'll see you tomorrow Tor." As Tor walked away he staggered drunkenly from what had just happened, "Oh Tor." Sahriah laughed.
It was now 7:00 PM and it was time to close the stall, after seeing Rose home Sahriah enjoyed the cool air on her fur, the sounds of happy families in each house, until she reached her room, As she slipped out of her green dress, she took a nice relaxing bath, grooming her fur slowly, When she was done, she slipped on her comfortable sleeping gown and lay on her bed, "I have to get an early night tonight." She thought, "After all, I've got a date tomorrow." She giggled as she blew out the candle next to her bed, As she turned over to her most comfortable position, she found herself in a deep sleep almost immediately.
