Wounds healing, but the pain inside of one I used to call friend will never truly heal. Yes I know that he stabbed me a few times, close to three, but still, after his father died my own father asked me to watch out for him. But after I saw what he was turning into, could I truly help him?

Hitting the send button, Brandon as he stood up leaving the chair to see Tundra lying under his sheets; he sighed happily watching as she slept in his bed, still without clothing, but the blankets easily covering her naked form. There was no doubt that his mother or father or maybe both knew what had happen while they were gone, and no doubt they would speak to him. He knew something like this would happen, but he didn't care, he loved Tundra with all fiber of his being, and he proved it to her last night. Still standing with his jeans of the day on, black again with grey around the sides, he went to sit on the bed; tracing his hand over her cheek slightly causing her to shift in her sleep and open her eyes slightly.

"Morning Brandon," she yawned loudly as her human smiled rubbing her cheek still.

"Morning Tundra," she answered toward her. "Did you sleep well?" she gave a half smile, leaning up to him and kissing him softly on the lips, as they kissed he brought her onto his lap, her chest pushed up to his as she pushed her face away to look at him.

"You know how I slept Brandon," she traced her hand down his chest. "And might I say, that's one way to allow someone to sleep; we have to do that more often." Brandon only smiled at her, she then moved from him and off the bed, going to search for any clothing she could find. As she bent down for her panties, she looked back and gave a coy smile, lifting her tail to show her pussy lips as he only rolled his eyes.

"Dear god," he muttered. "You're more bad then me, and trust me, I'm bad!" she only laughed and then frowned when she saw him wince a bit in pain as she went over, slipping her bra on.

"What's wrong?" she asked as he chuckled.

"You bite that's what," he moved his hand to show her bite mark she left as her eyes widened.

"Oh my god!" she exclaimed. "I'm sorry! I was just...caught up in the moment and..."

"Shush," he placed his hand over her lips. "It's alright, you'll just have to make it up to me when my birthday come," he gave her a quick slap on the ass as she yelped then glared at him hard as he only shrugged as well. The two now fully dressed left out of the room, hand to hand as they met with his mother and father, Ember no doubt still sleeping upstairs.

"Morning mom, dad," he nodded toward the two as they only looked toward him, eyes unblinking as they looked between himself and the girl next to him. "What?" he asked as he looked toward Tundra then back at the two. "What's wrong?"

"We know what you two did last night," his mother answered crossing her arms as Tundra eyes widened slightly.

"Oh shit," she breathed. "Busted..."

"Jenny," Rick spoke looking at his wife. "Why don't I speak to Brandon and you to Jenny, I think this would be better if we speak to them alone for now alright?" the female dragon frowned lightly, but nodded as he nudged his head toward the back yard as Brandon followed close behind.

Standing on the back porch, Rick brought his claws on the rail and brought his weight on the wood as he sighed, Brandon behind him.

"First of," he spoke looking back. "Was she in heat?"

"No," he answered as he nodded.

"Alright, that's mostly all I care for, I mean," he frowned pointing to himself. "Do I look old enough to be a grandfather?" Brandon was about to say something when he stopped him. "Don't even answer that, look truth be told, I'm pride you two mated, and it only means your love can become stronger. But you must understand, now that you two mated...her heat is going to be a lot worse."

"What do you mean?" his human son asked as Rick sighed.

"When I knew your mother, we dated for a while; I went though two of her heats before I did at last mate with her. A women heat is very...needy to them, when they go into it, they crave the sex, and you know it seeing how you saw her a few times when her heat pills were gone." Brandon shuddered, remembering how she almost seduced Brandon into mating with her. "Now that her body has felt the feeling of a male, it's going to be a lot worse, her body will crave it, want it, and she will do anything in her power to fuck you; and fuck you hard!" Brandon gulped slightly at hearing this, he had no idea how much of a impact this might have on Tundra at all, sure he knew about the heat thing, but he thought that was just how all female acted, now he would have to deal with Tundra no doubt being like his mother; and then blushing at how his father was talking to him like that.

"You know," he answered toward his father. "You didn't have to say she was going to fuck me hard."

"You already mated," he chuckled while smiling. "Not much worse can come of that can it?"

"No," Brandon sighed. "I guess not huh?"

Later that day, after Tundra had spoken to Jenny, the golden dragoness took Ember to the orphan adoption center to do some help around there. It was Ember idea which surprised the family of four, as she said that even though they never knew their birth family, they should at least know that some cared for them. Rick had gone to work as the two left, leaving Brandon and Tundra alone to wait for Norm to return with the women he was brining to meet his daughter. Tundra still didn't like the idea, and Brandon could sense it as he sighed and rubbed her shoulder as she leaned on him, as they watched TV.

"She better not try to act like my mother," she hissed though her teeth as Brandon only shook his head. "Because I swear I'll roundhouse her ass!"

"Come on honey," Brandon had at last gotten use to calling her loving names such as this as he turned to her. "Yes I understand you don't like the idea right now, but your father should be happy right?"

"I know that!" she huffed. "But it seems so...soon, I mean..." she sighed. "The reason those two got together in the first place was because they found out my mother was carrying me, they thought if they could conceived a child, maybe they could work out a relationship too. "She sighed as Brandon listened to her words, shocking it all in as she told him of how and why her mother and father became together. "My father told me after she ran off the second, of how and why they were together, wanting to seem like they loved each other, this was back then when having a child meant that...but in truth...my mother hated my father. She blamed him for everything, her not being able to party anymore, and all that...it made me feel like she didn't love me as well."

"I'm sure she did Tundra," he answered lightly. "Listen, every mother loves their child no matter what, even in the blinding rage, somewhere deep inside; they love their child."

"Then why did she run off!" she screamed pushing him away as she stood up; her back to him as she held herself in her own arms. "Why, tell me that why?!" she started to cry lightly as Brandon stood up behind her and held her in his arms.

"I can't tell you that Tundra..." he whispered as she wept her tears. "But just think, if she never did run off; we might never have met." She turned and looked up at him, his eyes softened and a small smile on his face seemed to calm her down just a bit. They stayed like this for a while, holding each other until a small buzzing nose was heard on the table. Brandon looked over to see his cell phone moving and buzzing as he went over to answer it. Flipping it open to see an unknown number on as he answered. "Hello?"

"Big brother!"

Ember screamed into the phone with worry and almost sounded like crying as Brandon eyes widened.

"Ember?" he asked. "What's wrong, did something happen?" there was the sound of something being moved for a second until a new voice came into his ear.

"Hello Brandon," His body froze, it was Fang.

"Fang?" he asked. "What are you...I thought you were in jail?"

"Oh I was my friend but a few new friends got me out, and made me a deal I couldn't refuse." Fang snicker slightly in the phone as Tundra went over to Brandon side to try and listen, but he moved away. "Too bad I just can't kill you like I wanted to...but maybe your mother is better, and making your sister my bitch is just a prize as well."

"You keep your hands off of them!" Brandon roared, his arms shaking as Fang laughed.

"Or what? You know you don't have the guts to stop me, but you know what, I'm feeling friendly, meet me were we made our base, our knowing began there, and so it shall end, oh and Brandon?" the human heard the sound of his mother crying out in pain. "Don't keep me waiting." The phone went dead as Brandon breathing increased as he then dropped the phone and ran out toward the door, he didn't even hear Tundra call after him; he just ran.

His legs pumping faster and harder then ever before, all he kept on thinking of was the safety of his mother and sister. Running outside of town, he found himself running along side a dirt road that lead to a woody area, looking up at the trees for only a second, he ran in; haven't been in over eleven years. As he ran though the puddles on the ground, he seemed to have visions of himself and Fang as children, running around and playing not having a care in the world. He shook his head trying to clear these thoughts; he had to make it to his mother and sister, before it was too late. Seeing the forest become less and less dense, he knew he was close, and when he pushed though, showing a small pound, cleared with trees; he was here; a small wooden house was seen, old and blacken with age, long ago forgotten before the two found it. Tied to the beams of the house, on one side was Jenny, and the other; Ember.

"Mom, Ember!" Brandon called out running toward them as they looked up.

"Big brother!" cried Ember, her face drenched in tears as Jenny looked to him and her.

"Brandon, get Ember out of that first, that wolf man put something around her neck and mine as well; I don't know what it is!" Brandon nodded and knelt in front of his sister, her arm bounded behind her as she cried softly. The necklace held her neck like a leash would, blinking and made of metal as Brandon tried to make sense of it.

"Don't even try to get those off," Brandon whirled around to see Fang walking into the clearing, he was shirtless, wearing only his blue cut off jeans as he smiled; Brandon standing.

"Release them Fang!" he ordered. "They've done nothing wrong to you!"

"I don't care," he smirked lightly. "I just thought it would be fun to see how long it would take, for a bolt of static shock going though their bodies would take, until they blew up!" the human eyes widened as he looked back down to the necklace around their necks. "That's right, if I wanted to," he mused lightly smiling. "I can kill them right now!"

"You fucker!" screamed Brandon as Fang laughed. "Why are you doing this?!"

"The one that released me of that damn prison asked me something," Fang spoke as he stood far enough away from Brandon so he could still speak. "Bring you to them alive, and me and my mother can live in the new world, no the old world as they once did. Those two," he pointed with dead eyes. "Well, if I kept one of them alive, I guess I could have my way with them." He snickered as Brandon snarled lightly.

"Who are these people if they want me?" demanded Brandon. "I belong to no gangs or Creed at all!"

"Look at you Brandon," Fang went on, pulling a knife from his shorts. "What are you, a human right?" he started to spin the knife around his paws as he spoke, walking around Brandon as the human watched with blood shot eyes. "Now ask yourself this, what makes a human? A male and female human am I right?" Brandon didn't answer as Fang went on. "You really think you are truly the last human, but you are dead wrong."

"What do you mean?" question Brandon as his fist clutched and Fang smiled.

"Sorry, I can't tell you that part, but I can tell you this." He stopped and pointed the knife to Brandon. "To release your family from their chains of death, you must ether kill me, or I allow them to be released by saying a word only I know. I can't allow you to die, so I'm just gonna have to ruff you up a bit, but know this." He smirked. "That doesn't mean I can't break a few of your bones!"

(Switchback By Celldweller)

He lunged forward with speed Brandon almost didn't see coming, falling backwards on the ground until he was laying on his forearms, he brought his body toward his back and kicked forward to the wolf's chest, but even then Fang brought a hand to the leg and bounded off of his foe with grace and landed on all four. Running like the wolf when humans roamed the earth, he screamed as he jumped, but cursed lightly when Brandon span kicked him in the chest, making the knife fall from his hands and beside Brandon feet.

Kicked the blade up, Brandon gripped the knife and held it sideways before him, bending his arms as if he was about to box someone, but keeping his legs bent as if he was sneaking. Fang stood back up, taking another knife from behind him as the two circled slowly. Jenny using one of her claw nails to try and cut the ropes, cursing herself to dulling them a few weeks back. With Ember only crying watching and hoping that Brandon didn't get hurt again. Again Fang was the first to attack sending the blade toward Brandon as he blocked with the one he just picked up, sparks flying slightly as Fang grabbed Brandon shirt to pull him toward the edge of the knives. Grunting as he used every fiber of his being to push himself back, he was successful as he threw the wolf back with the jerk of his own body. Again the two circled each other, and like a scene from a movie, dark clouds rumbled above the two, as the ground darkened with the rains that fell, their skin and fur becoming wet with running water. The area turned white from the flash of lightening as they charged again, this time not stopping, slashing and dodging trying their best to slash the other. Brandon was small in the weight department, but what he lacked in muscles, he sure made up in speed. Able to dodge each attack with ease as he saw how sloppy the wolf attacks were, only cutting the former friend slightly to cause him some sort of pain so that he could get some breathing room. All this happened before the rumbling roar of thunder above as Fang at last got at least one good cut on Brandon, on his left eye.

He roared in pain as he struggled backwards, the sound of his mother and Ember screaming in fear of what was happening lost to him, the rain washing the blood away, and as he removed his hand, his face twisted with anger. The slashed left him a cut that started from the bottom of his left eye, almost to the cheek as it went up a little past the eyebrow. It was deep to leave the cut moving when he moved, but his eye was thankfully unharmed, except for one thing, his left eye now red.

"I'm surprised Brandon," panted Fang, himself full of cuts now, around the chest and arms. "These aren't even your real family, and you're willing to die to fight for them, how come?"

(The Wings of Icarus By Calldweller)

"How...come" repeated Brandon as he glared at Fang, another flash of light surrounded him as he stood tall. "They are my family Fang, maybe not by blood or species, but they are my family. They been..." she struggled as the pain of his eye came to him in full power. "They been with me though thick and thin, my failures and my success, though my birthdays and holidays!" he pointed the knife to Fang as he struggled forward. "As far as I care, they are my one and only family! And if anyone, and I mean anyone!" he glared hard at Fang as the blood around his eye flowed faster. "Tries to harm them...I'll break their fucking skull!"

"A nice little speech," Fang commented with a smirked. "But this ends now Brandon, you know, maybe I will just kill you; I can say you were too much of the trouble to bring alive!" as he moved forward, Brandon turned slightly to see his mother and sister looking at him, telling him to run, but he closed his eyes, he would never leave them. Turning back, he got ready as Fang brought the knife up, but as he was about to bring the steel down, a loud bang was heard as Fang eyes grew wide.

Looking up at the wolf, Brandon saw him tumble over, until he laid flat on his chest, a wound like a bullet hole seen on his back as it bled slowly. The Necklace around the necks of Jenny and Ember clicked and fell off, just to the point where Jenny cut herself free and ran toward Ember to get her untied. As Brandon saw this, he knew; Fang was dead.

"I never really liked that Fur anyway," came a voice as Brandon looked over to see a white mask wearing man with long black hair flowing behind it. Jenny saw this man and held Ember behind her as Brandon in turn held himself in front of his family. "His rage toward you made him unworthy of living in the Old world." As the man turned, Brandon saw a small pistol in the hand, craved in markings he never seen before, the mask with black markings around the eyes much like veins, eyes as green as grass as the soft sounds of the mask getting hit by the rain was heard.

"Who...are you?" demanded Brandon as the man chuckled lightly.

"The question is Brandon," the man answered. "Who are you?" the teen flinched at how the man knew his name as he went on. "Who are you, and what side are you on?"

"What are you talking about?" he demanded again. "What do you mean, and how do you know me?" as the hand went toward the mask which was also covered, he removed it causing the three to gasp. A human and he look much like Brandon.

In fact, unknowing to Brandon this was the same one who was at his house just last night. Pale skin, green eyes and long raven black hair, around his chin and under his nose, hair grew giving him a goatee, one of his ears pointed like a elf as he wore two hood gold earrings.

"You're...a human?" Brandon couldn't believe it, Fang was right!

"Yes Brandon," he answered staying where he was. "I am, just like you, a human. We are but the chosen ones, the ones that stayed as the other changed."

"The...chosen?"

"Yes," answered the much older looking human. "When we started to change, some stayed the same, we do not know why, was it god choice to keep us the same for we are better, or was it that we were cursed to stay in these form?" he chuckled. "We like the one that we are chosen to stay better then being cursed."

"That still doesn't tell me how you know me!" Brandon cried holding his eye.

"I know you, because you are my little brother Brandon." Brandon didn't say anything as he just backed away.

"Lair," he answered as the man smiled.

"Your right shoulder," he pointed. "You have a mark that looks like a triangle inside a circle." Both Brandon and Jenny flinched, having known that he was right. "It's weird yes, but everyone that stayed the same has that mark, but that's not all; I saw you beign carried away by our mother as our father stayed behind to make sure no one followed her."

"Why..."

"Why did they give you up? Simple, they didn't want you to have the life we live." He chuckled. "That cost them their lives,"

"No..." Brandon looked down as the man nodded.

"Yes, our mother and father are dead; I am your only family left dear brother."

He moved closer as Jenny and Ember moved back, seeing the gun still in hand as Jenny tried to pull him back with them, but Brandon wouldn't budge.

"If you wish to know," answered his older brother. "My name is Red, now come," he held a hand out toward Brandon. "You must come with me."

"Why?" asked Brandon looking up.

"We must get ready to make the old World," Red answered. "And the only way for that to happen is with all of the Creed members."

"I am not part of a Creed."

"Oh yes you are Brandon," Red snarled. "It's in your blood, in your race, you were bred only to be used to fight and kill this beast from the world so we may take back what is our!"

"No!" screamed Brandon slapping Red hand away. "No! You will not harm anyone I hold dare to me you hear me!" Red seemed shocked slightly as he glared.

"So you rather fight your own brother then with him."

"If fighting you means keeping my family safe," Red seemed to cringe at the word. "Then yes!" the sounds of shouts were heard as Brandon, Jenny, and Ember looked over to see flashlights flicker over. Red glared and shoved Brandon away putting the mask on and stepped back.

"Then know this brother," he vowed. "The next time we meet, you will taste the end of your days, for I will not save your life, but take it!" and with that, he turned and ran, disappearing before the voices came into the clearing, seeing Fang limp body, Brandon bloody eye looking at where Red fled to. Rick was among them, running over to hug his wife and child, saying that they got a tip that they were capture and to hurry. When Rick saw Brandon wound, the police medic that came looked him over, wrapping his left head up as the other went to close up Fang body as Brandon watched still toward the forest.

The Last Human: Part Five

Brandon didn't even put up a blog, everyone knew of what happened, raining down on him of what happened truly and if he was okay. Wearing a patch over his eye until the wound healed, he only stared blankly at the computer monitor before him, his hands...
