Choice(Balance)-Arc 2"Trust" Part 8
Later that night,Kay and Alan headed to Class' estate up the northside of town.They approached the huge mansion,and stared in awe.
"Wow.So this is where she lives huh?"
Kay says.
"You think Kyle made it here?"
Alan asks.Kay nodds.
"Yeah.But I'm gonna keep my eyes open for Lucifer."
Kay says.They then start to head inside.The entire grand hall was amazingly large.There were some wealthy people with wings,and without.Kay,and Alan looked around in confusion.
"Man.This place is huge."
Kay says,looking around.
"No kidding.We should warn Class that my dad is here.But I don't see her anywhere."
Alan says,looking around as well.
"And then my love said: "Don't worry,I'll protect you no matter what."He was amazing.Would'nt you say we are a perfect couple."
That proud voice,with an over-exhagerted explination sounded familiar.Kay,and Alan looked to their left and saw Class speaking to a group of people.They started to walk her way.Class sees the 2 coming and smiles.
"Oh! Kay! Alan! So glad you could make it.If you're looking for Love,he's right over there getting something to drink."
Class says,pointing at Kyle.He was standing,drinking from a cup.Kay turns back to Class in concern.
"Class,we have to tell you something.It's very important."
Kay says in a serious tone.Class looks at him,concerned.
"Hm? Important?"
She responds.Alan nodds.
"That's right.You're not gonna believe this.But.....My father,Lucifer,is coming to your gathering.He said he sent for Kay to be here."
Alan finishes.Class glares at Kay.
"So I answered his call.But we wanted to let you know what danger you were in.You're meeting may have to be canceled."
Kay says.Class chuckles.Kay,and Alan was confused at her response.
"Kay....This is my meeting...I sent for Lucifer to be here."
She responds.Kay,and Alan were horrified,and shocked by this.
"You...What?"
Kay says in shock.
"Love already told me all about you,Alan,and the angel that sleeps inside you."
Class says,glaring at Kay even further.Kay was angry.
"You're....Helping him?"
Kay says in an angry tone.Class shakes her head.
"It's not that simple.You see,I'm a member of a very royal family as you already know.And as the youngest member,I wish to help it grow in power.All the more,helping the cause for the war,but Lucifer does'nt know that."
Class states.
"So you wanna get dad on your good side,and deliver me,and Kay to him.In return,he'll give you power?"
Alan says.Class grins.
"Bingo."
She says.Kay was still angry.
"I know you're trying to help the cause,but that's too risky.He won't keep his end of the bargain.All he wants is to get his hands on me.That's all he's interested in.Don't you get that?"
Kay says.Class gets angry as well,but keeps her cool.
"Look,I don't like this transaction anymore than you do,alright? But I'm wiling to do all I can here.This is what's best."
She states.Kay frowns a little.He then looks back at Class
"Does Kyle know about this?"
Kay asks.Class shakes her head.
"I only told him that Lucifer was going to be here,i never told him about the deal I'm making with him.That's all."
She responds.Kay sighs.
"I understand that you're only trying to help,but...This is just too dangerous."
He says.Alan frowns.He then places his hand on Kay's shoulder.
"Hey.I'm gonna go visit Kyle for a sec,okay? I won't tell him about this."
Alan says.Kay nodds.
"Alright.But be careful.Remember who's still here."
He says.Alan nodds,then leaves.Class smiles,and nudges Kay in a teasing way.
"You 2 seem pretty...Close."
She says.Kay looks at her,confused.
"Umm.Yeah."
He responds.Class was still smiling.
"Awww,you guys are cute together."
She says in a teasing way.Kay gets flusterd.
"It's not like that!!!"
He says,embarsassed.Class laughs at Kay's reaction.
"I'm just kidding.Man you need to lighten up a little...Well that's enough teasing.Time to get to buisness.I'll give you what you came here for...He's waiting....On the roof....All you gotta do is get there."
She says.Kay gasps,and looks at her.
"What? You mean...You want me to fight him?"
Kay says.Class shrugs her shoulders.
"I'm your friend,and whatever deal is'nt as important as another's feelings.You wannna make him pay for he's done to Alan and the world right? Well here's your chance.On the roof....You give him hell though,got it?"
Class says.Kay looks at the stairs,and nodds.
"Right.I will.I'll end it tonight."
He says as he heads upstairs.Alan returns with Kyle.
"Hey..Where's Kay?"
Alan asks.Class had a nervous look,but gave a slight smile.
"Oh,he had to go to the restroom.Don't worry,he'll be back."
She says.
"Oh...Okay.I'll wait for him then."
Alan says in a grin.Kyle looks worried.He looks at the cieling,and knew what Kay was really doing.He was about to fight a bloody battle.
"Kay....Good luck."
Kyle says.Kay was walking through the halls,and had an angry expression on,the entire time.
"Lucifer...I'm coming for you....So get ready...You bastard."
He clenches his fists in anger,and inticipation.
