Choice(Balance)-Arc 2"Trust" part 7
In Hell,Lucifer is pondering about his next course of action.He sits on his throne within his castle,thinking.
"So...No results I see...Then I feel that the time is right for me to...Grace him with my presence...Hm,hm,hm...Gods don't require friends,or a peaceful life.They only need the desire to rule...That is all...And it's all I expect of you....Kay Stanford."
He says as he rises from his throne.In class,Kay sits,and is bored....Like always.
"ACHOO!!."
Kay sneezes.Alan looks at him,and smiles.
"You okay?"
He asks.
"Yeah.Just getting the sniffles."
Kay responds.He kicks his feet up a little,not listening to the teacher's lecture.
"Man.I feel like I should ditch school today."
He says.Alan looks at him,confused.
"Why's that?"
Alan asks.
"Cause it's more boring than usual,and Kyle's not even here."
Kay responds.
"I'm here."
Alan says,grinning.
"Well,yeah.But I still wanna ditch."
Kay responds.
"Hey,I'm going with you.I won't be able to stand being here without you here."
Alan says with a grin.Kay blushes a bit.
"Well that's obsessive.Alright,let's ditch after class."
He says.After the bell rang,Kay,and Alan started to walk out of the school.It was easy for them,considering the lack of security around the school.They continued to walk along the side walk,and Alan was jumpy as usual.
"Alright,I was thinking of heading to the arcade early today since there have been nothing wierd going on lately.Good way to kill some time too."
Kay says as he continued to walk.Alan had a worried look on his face,and he immediatly turned around.
"Hold on Kay."
He says,on edge.Kay looks at him,confused.
"Hm? What's wrong Alan?"
Kay asks.There was a burst of flame,and a demon appeared out of it.It bows to Kay.
"Evening....Chosen one."
The demon says.Kay turned to face the figure,and glared at it.
"Who the hell are you?"
Kay demanded.The demon chuckles.
"Just a messanger...You see,your friend,Class,is having a little gathering at her estate to the far North of town this evening.High ranking people will be there including...My master."
The demon proclaims.Kay's eyes widened.
"Lucifer!?"
Kay shouts.The demon nodds.
"Wait.Why would dad go to a party held by a mortal of this world?"
Alan asks.
"He sent for you Kay.He wishes to confront you personally...Hm,hm.Don't be late."
The demon says.It vanishes,leaving Kay,and Alan at a lost for words.Alan looks at Kay,concerned.
"Kay? What do you wanna do?"
He asks.Kay clenches his fists.
"I have to go.I would'nt wanna keep him waiting.I will defeat him once and for all."
Kay says,determined.Alan frowns a little.
"But...Old man said that we were'nt ready to face him yet.We need more time."
Alan says,reasoning.
"Grr..I know that but...I cannot let him get away.Not now.Wether I'm ready or not,I have to take this oppurtunity."
Kay states.Alan was more worried,but then gets angry.
"You're going to face him alone!?"
He shouts.Kay looks at him.
"Well..Yeah.I don't want you to be there.I want you safe."
He says.
"NO!! I'm not gonna stand by as you fight someone like him!! You said you were protecting me,but I'm protecting you too,remember?"
Alan says.Kay frowns a little.
"Alan."
He says under his breath.
"Don't put yourself in danger.If we're doing this,we're doing this together.Okay?"
Alan says.Kay smiles at him,and nodds.
"Alright.We'll fight him together.I promise.Tonight,losing isn't an option."
Kay says.Alan nodds.
"Let's go see Kyle.He might have some info on what this gathering is about.Let's go."
Kay says.They head over to Kyle's place to discuss.Kay,and Alan went to Kyle's room right away.
"Hey guys.what brings you here?"
Kyle asks,sitting at his desk.
"Hey.We actually wanted to ask you something."
Kay says.
"Yeah.Did you know Class was having a gathering at her place?"
Alan asks.Kyle flicks his glasses.
"Yeah,actually.She said she had to do an important buisness transaction.meaning,that she's gonna make a deal or something.That was all she told me."
Kyle states.Kay thinks for a moment.
"That must be why she's inviting high class people there.Most of them might be wealthy and stuff."
Kay deducts.
"We're still going right?"
Alan asks.Kay nodds.
"Yeah.I kinda want to get to the bottom of this.Cause if he's there,there's no telling what will happen."
Kay says.Kyle was confused.
"He? He,who?"
He asks.
"Nothing.Don't worry about it.We gotta get ready for tonight."
Kay says.
"But we're not high class mortal/angels or anything.What if we can't go?"
Alan says.
"She does'nt mind inviting her friends Alan.She actually wants me to come along too.But that's obvious,considering our relationship."
Kyle says.Kay nodds.
"Alright.So we'll head to her estate tonight to see what's going down then."
Kay says.
"What about Sir Doctrene? Should'nt we tell him about this as well?"
Kyle says.
"No,he'll be fine.Besides,what if another demon attacks? Buch may not be able to do much by himself.It would be a good idea to leave him out of it."
Kay says.
"Right.Let's keep this between us."
Alan says.Kyle nodds.
"Alright then.I'll see you guys at the estate then."
Kyle says.Kay nodds.
"Alright.Catch you later."
Kay says as they leave.Kyle watched from outside his window as Kay and Alan leaves.He frowns.
"I wonder if this is right."
He says to himself.
