In the days that followed Liam leaving the apartment for a trip to see an ailing relative, the atmosphere of the apartment grew progressively somber. Lu came to find out that this was actually the longest time that Noah had been without Liam in the time that they had become close friends. Catching the sound of an intruder, Noah's head peaked out from the covers and looked up at the approaching rabbit.

"Hey, you're awake," Lu said and set his paws on the edge of the bed while peering closer at the dog.

"Yeah, I guess," Noah sighed and then draped his blanket back over his head.

"Hey, not so fast!" Lu said and yanked the blanket back from over his head. The action uncovered Noah down to his waist. "You can't be a lazy bum all day, we gotta clean up the apartment."

Noah shrugged and rolled over to pull the covers back over his shoulders. "Call a maid service and I'll pay them. I don't feel like getting out of bed right now."

Lu frowned and leaned farther over the bed. He eventually climbed onto the mattress and settled back on his haunches. He looked over the husky for a while more in silence before crawling closer and wrapping his lithe arms around the dog's shoulders.

"I know you miss him, I do too. But he's gunna be back in a week, it's not like he's dead," Lu mumbled into Noah's ear. There came a deep breath and then a long sigh from the husky.

"I know. I just...I don't know. Liam and I have been side by side for so long, the interruption of repetition and comfort has left me feeling...hollow..." Noah mumbled and rolled onto his back to face the femboy.

Lu leaned back and smiled fondly at the dog. Something about this state of vulnerability made Lu adore his roommate all the more. "What can I do to make you feel a bit better?" he offered and came to straddle the husky at his midsection.

"Oh, I don't think much can really be done other than waiting, ya know?" Noah replied and let out a wide yawn.

"Psh, I'm sure I could do something to get you up and out of bed," Lu said smugly and winked.

"What would that be?" Noah asked and quirked an eyebrow.

"Well, first I'd try bunny kisses." The confused look on the husky's face was immediately met with a swift peck on the lips. And then another on the chin and a third on the cheek. Kisses rained on Noah's muzzle and then down over his neck. The action made him yip and squirm as the motions tickled.

Suddenly Lu stopped and grinned down at the dog, who now had a slight hint of a smile on his face. "And what if that doesn't work?" he asked.

"If that doesn't work to cheer you up, then there comes bunny nuzzles." Just like before, giving no explanation for his statement Lu lunged forward and buried his face against Noah's neck fluff. Leaning into the embrace, the femboy ground his nose along the side of the dog's neck, his long ears splayed back against his head as he seemed intent on grinding every bit of himself against the other's neck and chest. It was a very warm and endearing motion, and so it did bring a true smile to Noah's face.

"And what if that doesn't work?" Noah asked again and stuck his tongue out.

"Hmm...if the kisses and nuzzles don't work, then truly drastic measures must be taken," Lu giggled.

"And what might those be?" Noah asked, but the rabbit was already on the move. Lu Scooted back and slid down the husky's naked body. His face trailed close to the other's belly as he did, gently playing kisses on his way to Noah's sheath. Instead of saying anything, Lu simply showed.

The bunny's paws pushed around the sides of the husky's sheath, from which a light pink tip was already protruding.
