A tale of dragon's chapter 3

OMFG! A wwwhhhhoooollllleee week has passed since I last posted. Sorry for the wait for the new chapter, but I've been working on another yiffy story (anthro dragoness's in the new one.) I hope the new chapter is up to scratch.

138 minutes on this one, but I thought that I should get another chapter up and not risk the wrath of the dragons, and wolx's.

Which brings me to my question, what the fuck is a wolx? Excuse my ignorance.

Matimura jerked awake as he heard heavy, pounding footsteps approaching the cave. He wasn't even aware of falling asleep. His injuries must have been more extensive then he had first thought.

Kylara entered the cave, her head preceding the rest of her body; she caught sight of Matimura, and made to turn around. But her size stopped her, she could only just get through the entrance, but turning around was impossible for her. She would have to enter the cave fully before leaving.

She glared at him, and then her eyes glowed red, and she was suddenly in her dragonet form.

Matimura leapt up and ran at her, before she could leave. He crash tackled her and held her down with all his strength.

"What do you want!?" She hissed, snapping at his nose.

Matimura leaned back from her, moving his face and neck out of her reach with difficulty. She could move her head a long way, because of her long neck.

"I want to talk." He said, staring down at her. Something in his gaze spoke of great anger.

Kylara relaxed under him, and Matimura relaxed as well.

Kylara seized his upper torso in her claws and rocked backwards, her tail and back legs throwing him clean off her. He hit the wall upside down, and slid to the ground, gasping in pain from his damaged ribs.

"Now we can talk." Kylara hissed, sitting back on her haunches and staring at Matimura's prone form.

He sat up with difficulty, and walked back over to her, careful to stay out of her reach. He collapsed to the ground, breathing fast and shallow, propped up on one elbow.

Kylara sat there and glared at him, liking the way that she could see him visibly weakening with every passing moment.

"Since you won't start, I will. Why did you go around saying you slept with everyone?" He asked.

"Because of Skel." She said, hanging her head in shame. "It was just one the first time, to stop him from calling me 'fifty-virgin'." She said.

"Fifty-virgin?" He asked.

"Yes, he called me that because I was still a virgin when I was fifty." She said softly.

"Why me? Why not a dragon?" He asked.

"Because I don't like dragons. And they don't like me." She said.

"What about that dragon that came in here when you first brought me here?"

"He was just another ruse. I was trying to convince Skel that I was fully mated to another dragon. So he had to stay at the cave and sleep in the same bed as me in case Skel came wondering in to see if I was telling the truth." She said, staring at the ground, tracing a random pattern into the ground with her claw.

"Why me? Why me out of all the other people here?"

"You were the only one that was still sane, not caught up in the war, and the one least likely to get himself killed." She said, still not looking at him.

"Why did they call you 'jinx'?"

"Because every time I created another ruse with a human they would go and get killed. It was usually just after I decided that I wanted to mate with them." She said sadly.

"Every time you went to mate with a male they got themselves killed?" He asked incredulously.

"Yes. I got a bit farther with you." She said shyly.

"I'm not dying yet." He said.

"But you hate me, I can see it in your eyes. I don't want someone who just mates me and then leaves, I want love, and you can't give me that, you can't give anyone that. You're all twisted inside, you don't hold any love for anything." She said bitterly.

"If you wanted love, you should have asked for it. Or did you think that I would fall in love with you the moment we had sex?"

She didn't answer, but her manner told him the answer.

"You silly dragon. You don't fall in love with something just because you've had sex with it." He said exasperatedly.

"I know that now." She said, just as bitterly as before. "You got what you came for, you can go now." She said.

"What did I come for?" He asked, fixing her with a challenging gaze.

Kylara was rather taken aback. What else could he possibly want?

"An apology?" She asked. "But I'm not sorry that I hit you, in fact, I wished that I had killed you!" She hissed.

"Wrong answer." Matimura said.

"What else could you possibly want?" She hissed at him.

Matimura bit back all the words of hate and anger he longed to throw at her. He wanted to tell her that he wanted revenge, that he wanted to hurt her almost as much as she had hurt him. But he knew that he had already hurt her far beyond any physical injury, he had wounded her in the one place that a dragon was most vulnerable.

"I want another chance." He said clearly as Kylara turned and started walking away.

She froze mid-step, looking at him over her shoulder.

"Excuse me?" She squeaked. Sounding more like a mouse than a dragon.

"You're excused." He said dryly, earning him a burning look of reproach from her. "I said, 'I want another chance.'"

She turned around, and began to stalk towards him. "What makes you think that I'll give you one?" She snarled.

Matimura began to back up; something about the way that she was looking at him told him that he was in deep trouble.

She continued towards him, and he began to back up, staring at her claws, which were digging deep into the stone floor as she walked.

He backed up until he felt his back hit the wall. Kylara continued towards him, her eyes blazing, her claws fully extended.

She lowered herself to the ground tensing like a coiled spring, like she had when she was about to jump off the cliff, but this time she really was going to leap at something. Him.

Matimura recoiled and ducked backwards in some vain hope of protecting his body as Kylara let out a roar of some indefinable emotion, and pounced.

Brian found out from a man in the camp that the magical training yards were on the opposite side of camp, in a sheltered valley completely bare of trees, so that magical fires had nothing to catch on.

It was a long walk, and well before he got anywhere near the valley; he reached the camp outskirts, which were more forest than anything else. He sighed and consigned himself to another long walk as Miralage began investigating every tree and bush as she always did. He watched her gambolling about, chasing butterflies, shaking bushes so she could find something else to chase, and then catching it, and letting it go, before catching it again, and he couldn't find the heart to tell her to hurry up.

Miralage came wondering back over to him, weaving slightly, as though drunk, some kind of grass or plant clutched in her jaws. She dropped it at his feet, staring up at him through slightly unfocused eyes. She ducked her head and took a deep breath of the plant, and her swaying redoubled, and a look of complete ecstasy came over her face, mixed with something else.

Brian sat down on the ground and picked up the plant, inspecting it, oblivious to the way Miralage was now staring at him. He brought it up to his nose and sniffed. It smelt slightly acrid, but didn't have any effect on him.

"Are you alright?" He asked Miralage.

Oh yesss... She said. This stuff's really good isn't it? She asked.

"I don't see how it's any different from the other plants." He said, but Miralage was ignoring him. She lowered herself to the ground shakily, as if to lie down, but the next moment she had pounced on him and pinned him to the ground.

"What the--?" He started to say as he stared up at her. But he never finished the sentence.

Miralage leaned down and pressed her muzzle against his lips, letting her tongue slip into his mouth and explore.

Brian was stunned. He just lay there as Miralage kissed him, wondering what had brought it on.

He broke the kiss and stared up at her. "What are you doing?" He asked, but she just ignored him and kissed him again.

Brian began to struggle slightly, testing her strength, trying to see if he could throw her off. But she was amazingly strong, and no matter how hard he tried, Miralage still held him down easily, kissing him eagerly.

Brian sighed and resigned himself to Miralage's oral attack.

"In other words, you want another fuck!" Kylara hissed venomously, he nose and gleaming teeth bare inches from his throat and face.

"No." Matimura protested, trying to struggle, but only succeeding in hurting himself.

"Then why do you want a second chance!?" She spat at him.

"God, take some anger management lessons or something." Matimura said, turning his head to the side, in case she decided to bite him.

"Anger management!" She hissed dangerously. There was a streak of silver, and a splash of blood as Kylara slashed Matimura across the face, leaving a long, thin, clean cut from above one eyebrow to above his lip, the cut tracing down an existing scar.

"I don't want sex!" He shouted, trying to bring his hands up to fend off any more blows. But Kylara had his arms pinned firmly to his sides.

Kylara moved her head towards his face, and he flinched backwards, wincing. She licked his face tenderly, her tongue tracing along the cut she had given him, cleaning away the blood and soothing the stinging there.

She began to sinuously rub her body up and down his, trying to get him aroused. Very quickly she felt his erection pressing against her belly. She smiled and started purring, stepping off him, and rolling onto her back, spreading her legs wide to him, staring at him over her belly, a playful smile on her face.

Matimura stared at her, breathing hard, stunned by her sudden change of mind. His erection throbbed almost painfully as he stared down at her. He wanted her more than he had ever wanted before.

"No." He said softly.

"What?" She said.

"I said no." He sighed, "I want you, I really do, but if I take advantage of you now, I'll just hate myself in the morning, and you'll hate me too." He said. He turned his back on her, making his painful way back to the camp.

Kylara just watched him go, a small smile playing across her muzzle.

Matimura used the light of the full moon to guide him back to the camp, and collapsed onto his makeshift bed, pain radiating from his ribs and face. He was almost asleep when Kylara entered the tent, slithered under the blankets, and curled up to him, purring softly.

Matimura gave an invisible smile and pulled her closer.
