Chronicles of B-man End of part 2
B-Man:... I ... won't let it end this way....
End of Part 2:
Several hours had passed since the explosion, wild life had returned to the forest near a cave entrance. a small herd of deer were just starting to have their meal when something caused them to stop then scamper off. Laboured breathing echoed near the entrance, followed by the sounds of someone staggering on their feet.
B-man gripped the walls as best he could with his right hand, blood was running down from various cuts. Portions of his body were covered in black ash, he could barely lift his feet as he trudged along. In the other arm he held Skys body muttering to himself still in a daze- "I'm...going..." -he coughed up blood- "to get...you home...Sky...I...promise..."
-he managed to reach outside but holding Sky became to much for his battered body, he staggered along bumping into trees and bushes. quenching his thirst was the only thing he wanted, coming over a hill side the sounds of rushing water urged him on. Below a small river was calling but his legs finally gave out and he fell, he landed on his back a few feet away.
Rolling onto his stomach he dragged himself along to the edge and dunked his head in, drinking welcome mouthfuls when something glittered at the edge of his vision. Turning to the right a box less than a foot in length, width, and height glowed slightly in the sunlight.
B-man crawled over and managed to place his left hand on the box before passing out, Under his hand the box slowly opened by itself. Inside two scrolls glowed. On them was a crest indicating they were from heaven. Darkening clouds slowly moved towards the Neko Kingdom, the fight was far from over.
