Now it is time to say hello to the connecting chapter between War tails of the white wolf and Shadow of a freelancer. This is the last chapter of War tails and might be the longest yet. Most of what happens here will explain how this chapter connects the two series. I know the last two chapters have been dull but this one will have plenty of fighting in it, also there is some nudity if you dont like that please leave.

The Darwin had been traveling from Starbase seventeen over planet Tal'ock Prime towards there new destination of planet ACX-004. They were now close to a few hours from the planet and the opportunity to explore a world that no one else had laid a food on...except any native peoples; if there were any.

Most alien races that were discovered so far were all technologically underdeveloped to Earthling standards; in other words they weren't even close to exploring space as of yet, one race had just discovered air travel and would most likely be the next race to venture into space. So most planets that were found either had no sentient life on them and were best suited for colonization or had T-underdeveloped life on them. However there was one race discovered that had just tested there first jump into hyperspace and nearly collided with an Earth deep space exploration vessel; manned only by humans, about one hundred and fifteen years ago.

This alien race resembled the Earth's fur population but had one major difference and a few smaller ones. They had the upper half was similar to a normal person's torso, however where the legs would normally be there was instead a second torso that looked like the body of a quadruped animal, so they resembled the old tails of centaurs in old mythology.

Since every race on that planet spoke different languages they had developed a kind of electronic translator that; once had a large enough understanding of another species language, would translate it into their own language for better understanding.

It was this device that allowed the Earthlings and the Toraani of the planet Torraan to speak to one another. Talks between the Earthlings and the Toraani lasted for a few months and ended on a peaceful note.

The Toraani choose to keep to there own however and instead of trading with the Earthlings for better hyperspace engines they decided to get to that level of technology on their own, and when the time came that they had that technology they would venture forth then and discover more of the galaxy. They still haven't been seen in known space yet.

Echo had been given orders to protect the scientist while they listed and documented everything they saw while the scouts explored the regions of the planet for suitable areas that colonies could be set up at. Rick would be the commanding officer on the ground and would report everything to Admiral Keeton. Who would file reports and send them back to command back on Earth.

Until they arrived at the planet everyone was helping with preparing the shuttles by loading equipment that could not be beamed down, or they were going over schedules or maintenance on the equipment.

Since Echo would be on guard duty nearly twenty four seven, they were excused from helping but most helped out anyway. Lliam and Rrahkarr helped out some but Rrahkarr was informing Lliam, Nate and Dan and some others about proper safety conditions while on an unexplored planet.

"Remember to always stay within the sight of another member of the on duty team and never explore alone. While on patrol always keep your phase rifle at the ready for anything that might consider you lunch or dinner." Rrahkarr explained.

"Anything else we should be aware of?" one of the privates; a cougar by the looks of his fur, asked

"Yes there is, always keep your equipment in tip top shape. Also should you be one of the ones who help escort the scouts and the surveyors, if they need help with something always keep your head on a swivel and if you should get lost and injured, you do have an emergency beacon in your packs. When we see one go off if the Darwin is within transporter range we'll get you out that way, if not we'll send out some rescue teams in shuttles so if you can try to be in a clearing ok. Any questions?" Rrahkarr asked.

No one said anything which meant it was time to wrap things up "Ok then since there are no questions I'll just wrap this up then..." Rrahkarr was saying when his comm started buzzing "Hang on a sec" he said and checked it.

His eyes widened for a moment and he looked back up to everyone in the room and said "Dismissed." In a voice that sounded somewhat worried and was about to leave but he stopped then went over to Lliam and said "Hey I need you to go to my quarters and pick up that holo disk ok, the access code is 21426. Meet me by the turbo lift on the bridge then hand it to me, and then you can go." then hurried out of the room without giving Lliam time to answer.

"That was kinda weird huh?" Dan said as they got up.

"Yeah it was, no one ever gets pages or calls on their comms while on the ship unless..." Nate said and trailed off.

"An emergency!" the three of them said in unison.

"I wonder if anyone else in Echo got the call." Lliam said.

"If anyone else did it would be James and Albert. Being that they are the next two highest ranking in the team." Nate said.

"But if it's an emergency wouldn't they alert everyone?" Dan asked as the three of them exited the room.

"Let's just wait and see it might just be something trivial. Hey I'll meet up with you at the coffee lunge, I got to go pick up that holo disk. Later." Lliam said as they headed off to their separate destinations.

Lliam had just gotten off the turbo life onto the deck that his and his brother's rooms were located on. He walked past the med lab, his room and Sara's room before he reached Rrahkarr's room.

Using the code that Rrahkarr gave him he opened the door to Rrahkarr's unlit room and stepped in with the door closing behind him. He searched for the lights switch on the wall but when he pressed it nothing happened. He figured the light just might be out and needed a new one.

His eyes had yet to adjust to the darkness of the room and he stumbled across a couple things towards the window in the room. Being in space and not near a star, meant no light was making its way in that way. Lliam new that Rrahkarr left the disk on the table near the window and headed towards it.

There was a distinct difference between the darkness in the room and the darkness outside the window so Lliam knew he was heading the right way. Then a dark from stood up in between him and the window. His eyes were still adjusting so he couldn't tell who it was, instead of talking the figure lunged at him and knocked him over and onto his back.

The person who was on him now had put all their weight on him...but even with that he could tell that the person on him was light then he heard a girlish giggle come from the person, followed by her grinding her hips against his in a circular motion.

When his eyes fully adjusted he noticed that whoever was on him had both black and white fur along with long white hair. Then his eyes locked onto her topless chest and more importantly onto her two large white furred breasts which didn't help him any.

Then she started to talk to him "Rrahkarr I have great news!" she said.

"Sara..." Lliam started to say.

"I'm pregnant Rrahkarr! We're going to have a child!" Sara said excitedly before she leaned down and kissed him lovingly.

Lliam was in shock, from both her saying that she was pregnant with Rrahkarr's child and the fact that she just kissed him. When she pulled away he could tell she was confused.

"Rrahkarr? What's the matter honey?" She asked.

"Um...Sara, you got the wrong wolf here." Lliam said nervously and laughed a little at the end.

"Lliam!" Sara said and quickly used a control to turn the light on.

When the lights turned on Lliam saw Sara at her sexiest. She was completely naked and her pink nipples poked through the fur. Her breasts heaved as she breathed in, and her body was of the perfect size. Her breasts where completely white just as her stomach, and the white fur kept going down in between her legs where the fur was slightly wet from her being excited. The look on her face though was one of shock and he could see a deep red blush through the white fur of her cheeks.

When she saw that it was Lliam and not Rrahkarr underneath her she jumped off of him quicker then a pitcher pitching a ball, and ran into the bathroom. Lliam laid there for a second until he sat up and looked at the bathroom door. He stood up and started to straighten out his clothes and noticed a wet spot on his pants over his crotch.

"(Crap)" he thought to him self as he looked back over to the bathroom door and decided to walk up to it.

He knocked on the door and said "Sara...I ah..."

She opened the door and had a bathrobe on as she walked past him and sat on the bed, not facing him. Lliam turned and looked at her when she started talking.

"I'm sorry Lliam...I didn't expect you to come in here, I...I thought you were Rrahkarr." She said as she looked down to the floor.

"Yeah...I only came in here to grab the holo disk that Rick gave us...ah..." Lliam said as he fumbled the words in his mouth then breathed in deep and let out a sigh "So...congratulations on conceiving, I'm sure Rrahkarr will be thrilled." Lliam said as he looked up towards the ceiling.

When he looked back down Sara was right in front of him; nearly nose to nose when she said "Please don't tell him, I...I want to be the one that tells him."

"Um...o-okay..." Lliam said.

Sara looked down for a second then smiled as she looked back up and said "Sorry about that."

"Sorry about what?" Lliam asked, missing what she was talking about.

She giggled then pointed down to his pants, when he looked down his pants were bulging a bit and were wet from her, he looked back up and was blushing considerably through his white fur which made her giggle some more.

"I think you should get a fresh pair of pants before you go." She said and walked back into the bathroom and closed the door.

Lliam; who was still blushing walked over to the body sized replicator which scanned his body size and replicated the same pair of paints he was wearing. He undid his belt and stripped out of those and was in the middle of putting on the fresh pair when he heard giggling. He looked over to the bathroom and saw Sara peeking through the crack in the door that was slightly open.

"Hey!" Lliam said in shock.

"Fairs fair Lliam, you saw me so the least I can do is steel a peek." She said and closed the door tight.

Lliam sighed as he pulled the pants the rest of the way up and buckled them with his belt, before he grabbed the holo disk and left the room after saying goodbye and congratulations once again.

On his walk towards the turbo lift Lliam started thinking "(Man oh man, it looks like I really jinxed him, what is Rrahkarr going to do when she tells him)"

He got to the turbo lift and went up to the bridge to deliver the holo disk. Unfortunately fate would see to it that Rrahkarr doesn't find out about the child that he sired with Sara for a long time.

It had been ten minuets after Lliam rejoined with Dan and Nate in the coffee lounge. There was only a total of seven people in there today...JJ included, and the other three were also from the same briefing with captain Sutarra. Everyone in there sat at the bar and talked about why it was so vacant.

"Hmm...been nearly ten years since this place was this empty." JJ said as he poured another round of beverages for everyone.

"Why was that?" Nate asked.

"Oh...because there was this enemy ship lurking out there, and just like this most of the officers disappeared." JJ answered.

When JJ said that it made Lliam, Dan and Nate a little nervous, fighting on the ground is one thing but fighting up in space was another.

"We had just come from the briefing with Captain Sutarra about half an hour ago; he got a call on his comm and after talking to you Lliam he hastily left the room." One of the others said.

"Hmm...ya sure about that? If so something's going on, if I was you I'd go to your quarters and wait for an announcement on the PA system." JJ said after rubbing the back of his neck.

"Do you think it's a pirate vessel JJ?" Dan asked as the six of them got up.

"Could be...but it could also be anything else concerning other ships or even asteroids." He told them as they left the coffee lounge.

Lliam, Dan and Nate all decided to go to Lliams room, on the way Lliam slowed down while he past Rrahkarr's room then hurried past. When they got to Lliams room they decided to wait and see if any announcements came. They all talked while waiting and Lliam had music going on in the background.

Somehow Dan got started on some Sci-fi stuff and Nate got caught in a loop with trying to explain the stuff in Dan's Sci-fi things couldn't exist because of this or that scientific explanation. Lliam enjoyed listing to them argue; he found it funny that one brother was more scientifically inclined and used logic to answer things compared to the other brother who was more of an average person bickering about Sci-fi.

It had been two hours since they left JJ's coffee lounge and they were about to go to there own rooms when the PA system turned on and the Admiral announced himself.

"This is Admiral Keeton, speaking to the crew of the Darwin. We have picked up an emergency distress beacon coming from a G5 class Cargo ship in orbit around planet ACX-003, we're going to bypass our target planet of ACX-004 and help the distressed ship. I want all hands at their designated stations and await further orders; I want Darren Crow's engineering team in the hanger bay. Also if your comm is paged, you will be escorting Crow's team to the distressed ship so meet in the hanger bay with them. That is all." The Admiral explained just as Lliams comm started buzzing.

"Lucky lucky, looks like Lliam gets to have his first away team mission." Dan joked.

"Oh yeah, just my luck, you two better leave I got to grab my gear and set out." Lliam said as they all got up.

Nate walked up to Lliam and offered him his paw, Lliam took it and they shook while Nate said "Good luck."

Lliam smiled and said "Thanks" as Dan walked up and did the same.

"Thanks guys, lets just hope nothing goes wrong." Lliam said as they left so he could get ready.

A few minuets later Lliam had all the required gear and set off towards the hanger bay. He arrived shortly after and was met by a few familiar faces.

"Hey Lliam, did you get the call too?" Chris said once he spotted Lliam heading their way.

"Yeah I did, you did too I'm guessing." Lliam said as he walked up next to him "Who else is here?"

"Well there's you and me, James, Tina, Vincent, Tommy and Albert." Chris said when another person spoke up.

"Don't forget me now." Major Sylvia said as she walked up from behind them "I'm replacing Captain Sutarra on this mission. He's needed elsewhere with Sergeant Matthews."

"Why are you replacing him?" Lliam asked.

"Well normally Captain Sutarra leads all away teams, because of our current mission however he's needed elsewhere. That's why I'm filling in for him." Major Sylvia said.

"So Neal and him aren't coming with us huh? Fine...it's not like we needed them." Tina said jokingly as she heard what the Major said.

Both Rrahkarr and Neal were needed for the planning about ACX-004. Rrahkarr was needed for planning security while Neal was needed for planning out where would be best to explore for areas that colonies could be set up at.

Once everyone arrived in the hanger bay, the Darwin soon dropped out of hyperspace in front of a planet not to unlike Earth. Most of the planets surface was covered by water but there was also a decent amount of land to settle on once the time came. ACX-003 was one of two habitable worlds in this solar system, as ACX-004 was the other. The atmosphere of ACX-003 was very similar to Earths as well; it only had a larger amount of oxygen in the atmosphere.

Everyone watched as a ship was seen in orbit around ACX-003; it looked intact and didn't look like it had received any damage. This put them on guard and when the Darwin was close enough they began conducting scans for anything out of the ordinary. Everything seemed fine except that there were no life signs on the ship.

When they were running scans they came across an emblem on the side of the ships hull as well as its name. It was called the Ann'bolsha, and the emblem was that of the great pharmaceutical company Bio-Med.

Again the Admiral came on over the PA system and said "Scans show no life signs on the ship, the mission has changed from rescue to attaining information about what happened. Those who were chosen, you are cleared to leave and board the ship. Find out what happened here, this is crucial to our own mission."

After that the transport ship left the Darwin's hanger bay and began its approach towards the Ann'bolsha.

Back on the Darwin in Nate's room, both Dan and Nate just finished listening to the Admirals announcement when a troubled look came over Nate's face.

"Hey Nate, is everything ok?" Dan asked his brother.

Nate didn't respond, in fact he looked as if he wasn't there; light on but no one home. Dan went over to Nate and started to shake him to try to get him to snap out of it. When he did he said "Oh no" and pushed Dan out of the way and exited his room. He began to sprint down the corridor while Dan chased after him yelling out his name and asking what was wrong.

Lliam was sitting in a seat next to one of the transports observation windows and watched as they drew closer to the other ship. For some reason he kept getting a bad feeling as they got closer and closer.

Once everyone had gotten on the ship they were required to wear space suits incase the disabled ship had lost its atmosphere and was now a vacuum. Everyone was sitting with their helmets next to them.

Chris came over to Lliam after seeing the look on his face and sat down next to him "Ah...first time doing something like this huh?"

"Huh...oh yeah, I can't shake the feeling that something's not right though." Lliam said as he shifted in his seat.

"It happens on everyone's first ship to ship missions so don't worry about it." Chris said.

"OK everyone we're about half way there, I want you all to put your helmets on in one minuet." The pilot said.

"Hey be careful, any wrong movements will send us into reentry of the planet." The co pilot said to the pilot.

"Is he new at piloting or what?" Lliam asked Chris.

"No he's just a hotshot, but he's a damn good pilot." Chris said.

"Hey what's that! Crap everyone get your damn helmets on now!" the pilot said suddenly.

"What the fuck! Evasive maneuvers!" yelled the co pilot.

Back on the Darwin, Admiral Keeton, Rrahkarr, and Neal were in the observation room. All of them felt better while in this room. It let them be more relaxed and allowed them to come up with better strategies or sort out information.

Rrahkarr was looking out one of the large observation windows; watching the transport head over to the Ann'bolsha. He turned around and walked over to a chair and sat down as Neal began to go over his plan.

"Ok well this area here on the coast looks like it would be a great place to set up a port colony. These mountains here; while provide a great natural defense might hold some valuable minerals so it would also be good to send teams to check them out." Neal said as they stood over a ground based hologram projector.

"That's reasonable; hmm this area looks good for farming and other agricultural needs." Admiral Keeton said as he pointed at a large area of open grasslands.

Neal looked over to Rrahkarr and saw he was just starring at the floor while in thought. "What do you think Rrahkarr?" Neal said rousing him out of his concentration.

"What...yeah sure that's good." Rrahkarr said; not even paying attention to what they said.

"You know you could put some effort into this." Neal said.

"Yeah well you know me; I'm not into planning out things like this..." Rrahkarr said when the door opened and Nate barged in followed by dan.

"Corporal Barker, explain yourself know!" Admiral Keeton commanded.

"Sir! You have to call the transport back now!" Nate said.

"Why is that?" Neal asked.

"You said scans didn't detect any life signs, but there are and I sense hostile presences from them. There planning on attacking!" Nate said when alarms started going off.

"All hands to battles stations!" yelled someone from the bridge over the PA system.

At that moment everyone in the room ran up to the observation window and witnessed the unimaginable. The Ann'bolsha did have life forms on it and they had opened fire on the Darwin and the transport ship.

Rrahkarr watched in horror as the transport ship got hit repeatedly and became engulfed in flames as it began re-entry into ACX-003's atmosphere. The Darwin was still connected to the transport ship and over everyone's comms they heard the screams of the people on it as it fell towards the planet...

"The pilots are dead!"

"We're doomed!"

"We're going into re-entry!"

"Get to the escape pods, we might make it!"

"It's no use the ejection systems are fried!"

"No!"

"Chris!" Tina's voice yelled as the sound of air being sucked into space was heard then silence.

This was some of the things that were heard through the comms from the transport just before it split into two pieces as it fell.

"My...my god." Admiral Keeton said as he witnessed the carnage.

"No...everyone was..." Neal said as both he and Nate fell to their knees.

Rrahkarr couldn't believe what he just saw. All his friends had just been killed...and most of all his little brother was killed as well. The image of the transport was burned into his eyes as tears started to flow from his eyes. He closed his eyes and looked away but the image was still there. He clenched his fists so tight that he drew blood from his hands as blood dripped from between his fingers.

He started to growl, as the Darwin sustained a few hits before the shields could be raised. He could hear them...the screams of pain, fear, and he thought he could feel their lives ending and in that moment...

Rrahkarr opened his eyes and looked right at the enemy ship, however things looked different now. The phase shots and energy weapons firing at them seemed slow and blurred rather then fast and visible. He closed his eyes again, then Neal started shaking him and he gave Neal a look that frightened him.

It wasn't so much the look that Rrahkarr gave him that scared Neal but the faint glow coming from his eyes. He felt as if Rrahkarr was looking right through him, and so he slowly stepped back from him.

Rrahkarr could hear the others speaking but what they said made no sense to him. There was only one thought in his mind right then and there; and if he did it, he wouldn't be able to return to the Darwin or the A.T.W.F as a solder again. He would be considered a criminal of war for what he was about to do.

He made up his mind and faster then thought he could go he pushed Neal out of the way and began running towards the turbo lifts.

Rrahkarr took the turbo lift to the hanger deck and attacked anyone who tried to stop him. When he entered the hanger, the maintenance crews just stepped away from him as he looked for something to pilot over to the other ship. That's when he laid eyes on the one and only heavy suited SM (Space Mech) that the Darwin had.

He hopped into the mech and started it up. The hanger bay shields activated to make sure he didn't leave, so he turned on the mech's weapon systems then said over its speakers "Anyone who doesn't want to die...get the hell out now!" as he raised its primary weapon and aimed it at the shields generator.

He hardly gave them enough time to exit before he fired at the generator then fired at the hanger bay doors, blasting a hole in the side of the ship before taking off.

Once he was in open space he was considered a rouge solder. And by leaving the ship he was now a target not only by the enemy in front of him but the Darwin behind him...however the Admiral didn't order them to fire at him.

He flew through the oncoming fire the best he could...which was far better now that his own modified genes had activated. He saw where the enemy attacks came from and where they would hit him, thus he knew when and how to dodge the enemy fire and quickly made his way over to the enemy ship.

He no longer cared about what happened to him only that they people who killed his friends and brother lay dead. However the enemy ship started to turn to leave so instead of attacking the engines like a solder would he crashed the mech into one of the starboard side hatches causing the atmosphere to vent...which sucked out a few enemies before the bulkhead sealed shut.

Just then another ship appeared on the scene...it was Delta and had seen the lone mech fly into the Electus ship.

"Damn I'm too late!" Delta said to himself when he was hailed by the Darwin.

"Freelancer Delta is that you?" Asked Admiral Keeton.

"Yes it is, give me a sit-rap." Delta commanded.

The Admiral told Delta all of what transpired, from what happened to the transport and who was in it, to what Rrahkarr had just done.

After receiving this info Delta piloted his ship into the hanger bay of the Electus' ship just before it jumped into hyperspace.

Now that he was onboard the enemy ship he was truly and utterly alone. There would be no backup, no rescue party should he be capture; even if he did live that long. And with the quick departure he didn't grab much in ways of weapons. That was soon solved when an enemy human solder walked right in front of the mech's main weapon.

Rrahkarr fired without hesitation and blew the upper half of the human to shreds covering the wall near him with blood and guts. He quickly exited the mech and retrieved the solders weapons; one phase gun, one combat knife, and a plasma rifle with plenty of ammo.

From there he began running down the hall towards the front of the ship. Moments later he felt the ship enter hyperspace. With the rage that kept building in him he began to sprint down the hall faster then he ever had before. When he ran into a group of guards he quickly drew and killed them with the knife he had acquired causing blood to spray out of them.

He praised the people who made these ships with direction panels on the wall. He turned right at the junction he was at which would take him to the bridge. He ran into a turbo lift and took it up to the top deck which would lead to the bridge. When the doors opened three enemies where waiting for him.

"There's the intruder! Fire!" one of them yelled as they fired a barrage at him, hitting him multiple times with phase rifles, each shot that hit him left a hole in the armor he wore and marred his fur and scared his skin.

When he landed on the floor, the enemy advanced to check him. But with his alterations now active he healed incredibly fast, faster then Lliam even.

"He's dead...look at how many times we hit him!" one of them said and laughed just as Rrahkarr jumped up and slit all of their throats in one fell swoop causing blood to spray everywhere and coated Rrahkarr in blood.

Holding his chest while he continued Rrahkarr quickly healed. Soon he was no longer holding his wounds as he neared the door to the bridge. He stopped however and took a deep breath.

He closed his eyes and swore he could feel several people inside, where they were, and what they were doing. He decided to use this information and drew the plasma rifle. He then opened the door and with incredible aim managed to hit everyone in the room with out blasting a hole in the side of the ship allowing the air to vent into space.

He may have hit everyone in there but he also took a few hits in the back as some solders attacked from behind. He ducked under cover and returned fire. Now though he was cornered and under constant attack, luckily for him there was only one way for them to get into the bridge and as long as they tried to enter he was able to kill them.

The gun fire stopped suddenly which made Rrahkarr run up to the wall near the entrance, he grabbed a fission grenade and turned it on and threw it just after he heard the enemy say ready grenades.

Luckily fission grenades where created to kill organic things so it would not damage the ship in anyway other then burn the walls. The heat generated from the grenade would melt lower grade metals such as weapons and armor though.

After the grenade went off the enemy solders stopped their advance. Instead they tried to talk to Rrahkarr.

"Hey buddy, how about you give up and come quietly huh?" the man said.

Instead of answering with words, Rrahkarr snuck back around to get a better view of the hall. He saw they had brought up platforms to defend against any rounds he may have other than grenades. Fortunately several of the dead bodies in the bridge had several grenades on them each.

He grabbed a few, then snuck back over to the wall and activated them. He then threw them all into the hall and closed the bulkhead. The grenades went off and since they were close to the door and there were so many of them, the heat they created basically wielded the door shut.

"That'll hold them for a while." Rrahkarr said as he activated one of the terminals.

Rrahkarr wasn't much of a computer hacker but he knew ways to get around in a ships computer system. He managed to get through and began looking for the self destruct codes when he ran across a message to the captain of the ship labeled "Termination Orders" so Rrahkarr made the system search for the self destruct codes while he opened it and it read it which read like this...

Your target is Captain Rrahkarr James Sutarra, descendant of subject 31130 also known as Tro'nen Charles Wilson. As you know captain we've been trying to clean up anything or anyone related to the old experiments performed so long ago. This target is believed to be one of three living descendant of subject 31130.

We'd like you to take him out and make sure it seems like a pirate attack. That way we can just call it death in the line of duty. He serves onboard the I.S.F Darwin and the last known position was above the planet E'zelah, it is believed that the ship will get repairs and refuel at Starbase seventeen so be ready for them there.

Also I don't know if this will help or not but on any away team he's usually the one in command. So feel free to take him out that way. If you CAN take him out consider your pay tripled. Once he's been dealt with you will recive orders on another target by the name of Maya Ann Sutarra.

After Rrahkarr read this his heart nearly stopped...Lliam died because both him and Neal where needed for planning out the colonization effort and the next target was Maya.

The bulkhead door was breached by the enemy, but Rrahkarr didn't bother getting up. he just sat there and closed his eyes as the enemy surrounded him.

"Looks like he's given up."

"About time...fucking bastard!"

"Enough talk time to die."

All of them drew their weapons and aimed at Rrahkarr. They all pulled the trigger and let their shots fire out. In that second a battle raged inside of Rrahkarr. Something was fighting within him that was struggling to gain control, it was talking with him telling him not to give up but to let his rage take over and get revenge on this Patrick Territh and till kill everyone on this ship...it won out when it brought up the fact that their next target was his little sister.

When Rrahkarr opened his eyes there wasn't just a faint glow, no the entire iris of his eye was glowing a bright blue. Time was moving so slow or he was just moving so fast, the computer brought up a screen then that held the self destruct code access screen. It was asking if the user really wanted to activate the system. He quickly slammed on the return key and jumped up as the enemy fired. Instead of hitting him they killed each other.

"Self distruct activated, you have T-minus five minutes to evacuate." The ships computer said over the PA system.

The others in the room were shocked by his speed, and what the computer just said. When he looked at them, they all saw the glow of his eyes and the murderous intentions behind them. With impossible speed he slaughtered five of the closest ones and with the sixth one he forced his paw into the mans chest and crushed his heart while it was still in him.

When Rrahkarr...no when this Shadow of Rrahkarr pulled his hand out with the remains of the mans heart, blood poured from the opening in his chest and began to flow across the floor as the body slammed down onto the floor. The rest of the men in there began to flee...however there was another person there with short brown hair and hazel eyes that seemed to glow; who shot at the men fleeing from the bridge.

Murazar killed the rest of them as he entered the bridge and laid eyes on what was left of the person he knew as Rrahkarr. Their eyes were dead locked with the others and they watched each other. Then Murazar did the unthinkable.

"Rrahkarr, what's happened to you?" he asked.

Rrahkarr didn't answer, what was standing there now was nothing more then a feral beast. If it wasn't for the fact that an enemy solder who was still alive tried to pass Rrahkarr, he would have attacked and possibly killed Murazar; but instead he attacked the solder and bit into his neck and ripped a chunk of flesh from him as blood sprayed from the human and coated the floor and wall.

Using this opportunity Murazar quickly attacked Rrahkarr and slammed the butt of his gun into Rrahkarr's head. He hit him so hard above his left eye that blood started to flow out from the wound as Rrahkarr fell to the floor unconscious...

He slowly opened his eyes and looked around the room. It was unfamiliar, so he sat up in the bed he was in and continued to examine the room. There was a window in the room and the stars were moving by it rather fast, which told him that the ship he was on was in hyperspace.

He was bandaged in multiple places, and his eyes where back to their normal color and wernt glowing. The room he was in was dark and plain, the only things in the room was a bare table, one chair and the bed he was in.

He tried to think about how he got here but the last thing he remembered was being surrounded. Then the memories of what happened that day flooded his mind, Echo's death, and the death of Lliam, how he charged to the enemy ship and that what he did while there. However he didn't feel anything, sadness, happiness, nothing except for hate, and rage towards those that killed them...then the name entered his mind...Patrick Territh.

Just then the door opened and Rrahkarr went on guard as he watched a human enter.

"Ah I see you're finally up." Murazar said as he sat down in a nearby chair.

"Murazar...what are you doing here, and where's here?" He asked.

"This is the ship I got from starbase seventeen...here is close to the Freelancer Haven simply called the Inner Haven because we're close to the inner most part of the galaxy." Murazar said.

"But...the Darwin was close to the outer rim of the galaxy? How did we get here so fast...and what happened on that ship!" he asked.

"First off I'm sorry." Murazar said in his unemotional voice.

"Sorry about what?" he asked.

"When I found you on that...ship, you were nothing more then a feral animal. I had to hit you pretty hard on the head and it left a scar." Murazar said.

"Is that all that happened?" he asked.

"No...the modified genes in you have awakened. You charged over to that ship on your own to get revenge for Lliam. You then attacked and killed anyone in your way as you headed towards the bridge...there after I knocked you out and read what made you go feral, I had to carry you to the hanger bay and flee the ship before it exploded." Murazar said as he leaned back in the chair "After i knocked you out i went back to the Darwin and asked how things were. A few of the crew were killed and, Sara was hurt."

"Is she ok?" Rrahkarr asked

"She was ok, she had a broken leg and sustained a head injury. I talked to her a little bit...I told her and everyone else that you had disapeared and then it looked like she wanted to tell me something to tell you if I ever found you but she didn't." Murazar said.

Rrahkarr raised his hand to his head and felt the bandage around it. He then asked "How long was I out for?"

"A little over a month, I had to inject nutrients directly into your system to keep you from dieing." He told him.

"A...month!?"

"Yes. Also...you can't go back and you know why."

Rrahkarr looked down, he knew what Murazar said was true so he tried to stand up. It was awkward but he managed to stand and stumbled over to the bathroom. He took off all the bandages he had on then looked in the mirror and didn't recognize the person looking back at him.

Missing fur over places on his chest and back where phase rounds had hit him, the scar over his left eye where Murazar said he had hit him at which managed to grow white fur and made it look like he had a white eyebrow. Even the way he stood seemed different, but what was the most different about him was in his eyes. They were the eyes of a stranger and held monstrous and murderous intentions in them, they were filled with hate, rage, and also seemed to have a cloak of darkness hiding their true nature.

"Rrahkarr...you know you cant go back as the person you were, but there is a way you can show your face and wont have to worry much about it." Murazar said from the chair he was still sitting in.

Rrahkarr limped into the door way and looked at Murazar and asked "How?"

"The only way...become a Freelancer like me and take a new name that everyone will know you by, and if you do...I can help you get revenge on the man who targeted you, but you will help me take down him and the other members of the Electus."

Rrahkarr took a few minuets to think about what he said...and it made since. He could go around searching for that bastard with near complete immunity from the laws of the A.T.W.F.

"How do I become a Freelancer?" Rrahkarr asked.

Murazar actually smiled a real smile and said "By taking the first step and assume a new identity, and if I may...I think Shadow would be perfect for you."

"Why is that?"

"Because...you are a shadow of your former self, and you will be working with me so closely that you'll be like my shadow." Murazar said.

"Become the Shadow of Freelancer Delta huh? ...I think I could go for that."

"Well then...welcome to the ranks of the Freelancer...Freelancer Shadow."
