A small blue car rolled evenly across the hilly landscape. Inside Aleck and Leo we're riding along happily enjoying the rolling hill of the country. They had just taken a day and gone together to the rural farms outside of New sky. The otter's main objective had been to pick apples but along the way other things had been done as well. Aleck had taken a different path home so the trip was much more interesting.

The road they were on rolled through some of the settled farm and woodland areas. The area had been settled first by Native American furs but eventually had taken in many Scottish and Irish natives. The people here hadn't done much to the woods or farms they liked the spooky foggy feel of shadow and darkness.

The ride home was made enjoyable by the beauty of the fall color offset by the gray of storm clouds that had been rolling in all day. A sudden crack of lightening signaled the storms beginning and before long large wet raindrops were plummeting down on the windshield.

"Heh, looks like the nice weather couldn't hold out for us eh Leo?" Aleck said as he flicked on the windshield wipers.

The smaller otter looked over in a dreamy way and smiled "oh well we did have a nice afternoon so what if the evening is rainy means we can have fun inside" Leo winked at the last part of his sentence and Aleck chuckled at the idea.

"Well we will just have to wait and see after all we already had fun today"

The pair rolled on into the storm slowed by the wind and the loss of sight as the storm gained in power. All at once there was a sharp blasting sound and then a rumbling came from the cars body.

"Damn we have a flat" Aleck said pulling over to the side of the road. "And to make it worse I don't have a spare in here" he sighed as he rested his head on the steering wheel.

Leo pulled out his cell phone "Ulp there are not bars here"

"Perfect just perfect well I guess we have to walk to one of the local farmhouses and see if we can borrow their phone" Aleck sighed as he turned to dig in the small back seat for an umbrella.

He managed to find one that was just barely big enough for two furs to fit under and he and Leo set off heading for the barely visible glow just up the road. The rain pounded on them harder and harder. The light they were following only seemed to be getting weaker. The pressed on at one point a small farm truck raced past without stopping and splashed them with water. Just when they were considering turning back they found the driveway up to a small farmhouse and with freezing paws and legs they managed to eventually stumble up to the door.

Aleck knocked and they waited patiently until a Black cat opened the door. "Hello there" he purred "what can I do for you?"

"Hi my name is Aleck and this is my friend Leo we blew out a tire about a mile or so down the road and wanted to borrow your phone"

"Well sure" the cat purred again "I'm Sean and I'm more than happy to help you out" he then led them inside and let them cozy up by a crackling fire while Aleck attempted to call the auto club.

The auto club callfur was quite confused on the place that they were trapped in. He checked the maps and looked things over and told them that the soonest he could get someone out to them would be at least six hours and there was no guarantee on them being helped before morning.

Aleck hung up the phone and frowned "I pay a lot for that service why I don't know there are so many other good ones out there" he sighed and looked up at the black cat. "I don't suppose you would mind if we stayed here a little while longer do you?"

Sean smiled sweetly "of course not please I rarely have such handsome guests and I'm glad for the company." He then led them to a small bathroom and lent them clothes so he could dry the ones they had been wearing. Once the pair were dry and sitting by the fire Sean even brought them some hot cocoa to help them warm up. The three new friends sipped at the drink and chatted as they waited for the tow truck from the service.

While Aleck and Sean chatted Leo began to feel suddenly sleepy and slowly he rested his small head against Aleck's shoulders and drifted off. Aleck continued talking to Garuu but even he was starting to feel drowsy. Before he knew what was happening he felt his world grow dark as he passed out.

The cat smirked evilly as soon as the two flumped back on his couch and he took up the phone and began to make calls. After a few minutes he put the phone down for the last time then slipped over to his "guests" and began to undress them then bound them at the wrists and ankles before leaving the room. When he came back Sean was dressed in black robes that covered his head. He crossed the room and lifted the sleeping pair with ease before leaving the house and putting them in and old hand cart and going into a small shed returning with a lantern.

He put the lantern in a long pole that was its holder and then trundled up a lone path with the cart. Along the way he was joined by other furs in dark cloaks and robes. They formed a kind of parade and kept marching up the hill some chanting some sort of dark chant. At the top of the hill was a structure much like Stonhenge. In the case of this one though it was paved in fresh sharp edged flag stones and the standing stones were still well formed. At the very center stood a very familiar structure but instead of porcelain it was comprised of concrete and was 3 times the size of a normal one. It was a toilet and the line of dark furs came to stand round it chanting their dark chant.

Sean Wheeled the cart to just outside the circle then signaled for two of the robe clad figures to come round and gather the prone figures. The three trundled forward and stood close to the Stone toilet. Sean clapped for silence which decended like a heavy blanket.

"Friends we are gathered here tonight to sacrifice two to our great god of the swirl the divine one of the flush all praise the swirly all prais the swirl" Sean cried

The figures around him chanted along with the end shouting "All praise the swirl, all praise the swirl" at the top of their lungs. Aleck and Leo had woken up at this point and were looking around confused. Sean leered at them and snapped his fingers the two heavy lifters picked up the pair and lead them to the edges of the bowl where their heads were forced into the water while Sean yanked the large handle down.

Aleck and Leo glubbed and splashed fighting for breathe as the water swirled round their heads and then down the bowl. Sean didn't let them enjoy much air before he yanked the handle again and again and again. He managed 13 times in total and the crowd around chanted "Flush them down, Flush them down, flush them down". Sean smiled wickedly at the pair.

"Well boys you heard my legion you are the sacrifice for this year" he said before turning to the furs holding them "toss them in they are to be the feast of our god."

The furs holding Aleck and Leo let them go and upended them in the large bowl. Sean smiled down wickedly and ordered some of the minions to stand on the bowls edge to relieve themselves. Urine plunketed down around the pair shortly before Sean yanked the handle spinning them round the bowl. The pair went round and round rising up briefly before the water pressure sucked them both down the pipe and away. The group chanted and reveled and began the start of a long party.

Aleck and Leo swirled with the water down a long pipe and splashed down in a large cistern. They managed to slog to the side and climb out just as something large and white with glowing eyes crawled in and smiled at them.

"Wha ho this year's sacrifices are a little bit more than previous years" it said before draining the cistern and carrying them away. "But still I will enjoy you don't you worry I only ever sample the essence." He then promptly swallowed aleck and Leo. The creature at this point chuckled with glee and patted its large belly before trundling back the way it had come. As it walked off it seemed almost to morph and change and alter looking at times like a horse at others like a dragon.

It came to a different cave area where a large bed was. It climbed into its bed and sighed, "ahh so good to be full and don't worry little treats nothing I eat ever gets flushed all of this will have been but a dream" he laid back patting his huge belly and began to drowse. "Sooo good to sleep in the time of Samhain" he muttered before going to sleep.

Leo and Aleck woke the next morning in Leo's bed. Neither could remember a thing and when they went out to Aleck's car which for some reason was there, they found two baskets loaded with apples that Leo was overjoyed to take possession of giving aleck two bags of his own before he went home.

Somewhere off in the country a standing stone toilet flushed loudly spewing out light and energy as Halloween drew closer.
