Matthias (mouse), Orlando the Axe (badger), Jabez Stump (hedgehog), Basil Stag (hare), Jess (squirrel), and several others including Log-a-log (shrew) and his Guosim shrews were on a quest to find the young ones who were taken away as slaves by the fox Slagar the Cruel. They had already scaled a cliff, went through some hostile territories, and went over a large crevice to a point near a copse of trees. With them were five weasels who they had taken prisoner: Skinpaw, Fleaback, Threeclaws, Wartclaw, and Snakespur.

"I have an announcement to make," said Jess. All creatures were listening. "I'm in heat and in need of mating right now." Most of the males were listening very intently. "But I only plan on mating with one of you, so I'll hold a contest."

"Are we in the contest?" asked the weasel Skinpaw.

"Absolutely not," said Jess. "Vermin don't count." Skinpaw looked very disappointed and offended.

"Pinweasel orgy it is then," said Fleaback.

"What's a pinweasel orgy?" asked Matthias.

"You'll see," said the weasel Threeclaws.

"Don't worry, it's only between us weasels," said Wartclaw. "But carry on with your contest, Miss Jess."

"Matthias, Orlando, Jabez, Basil Stag, and Log-a-log," said Jess. "I want you to each take a slingshot, and fit each with a rock. I'll measure how far it goes."

Matthias was first to arm his sling. He fired. Jess paced, counting her steps toward where the rock landed. "Thirty-five paces," Jess said. "Not bad. Orlando, you're next."

As Orlando got his sling ready, he noticed a distraction. The five weasels were all naked, and in a pinwheel formation. "You got to be kidding me," he said.

"Are they really..." asked Matthias. The weasels were all on the ground on their left sides. Skinpaw's penis was in Fleaback's anus, Fleaback's penis was in Threeclaw's anus, Threeclaws' penis was in Wartclaw's anus, Wartclaw's penis was in Snakespur's anus, and Snakespur's penis was in Skinpaw's anus. "If it wasn't for those wretched horny weasels distracting me!" said Orlando, angrily folding his arms.

"Jabez, you're next," said Jess. The hedgehog took his slingshot and fired. Jess counted thirty-six steps. "Impressive," said Jess. "You beat Matthias by one step!"

"Okay Basil, you're up," said Jess.

"I wouldn't mind firing this at those bally vermin and their pinweasel orgy, wot!" said Basil. He fired his slingshot, and Jess counted steps. "Only twenty-two," said Jess. "Sorry!"

"Log-a-log," said Jess. "You're up!" The little shrew got his slingshot ready. He was convinced he would be the champion. He fired. Jess counted twenty-four steps. "Sorry, Log-a-log," said Jess. "It won't be you! The winner is Jabez Stump! Maybe another time for the rest of you."

Fortunately, the other contestants were good sports, despite the reward of sex with a beautiful squirrel in heat. Jabez and Jess found a good spot to do the deed. Jess knew hedgehogs have rather long, thin penises, and so was prepared for that.
