Justice Betrayed
#4 of Etheral City
Penny was dreaming again. She was in a forest, new leaves giving a fresh scent to the trees. The sounds of a nearby stream calmed her senses. She found herself entranced by the peace and tranquility, and lazily wandered over to the water. Sitting at the edge was Splitter, looking more serene than she had ever seen him before. A smile crossed her face as she sat down beside him and rested her head on his soft shoulder. His warmth radiated into her very soul. Out of nowhere, there was a loud bang.
This was enough to knock Penny back into consciousness and look around. She was in a plain white room with a bed in the middle and a dresser with a mirror on the wall above it. Splitter was banging on a heavy duty steel door. "Open up! I know you can hear me, I've already found you're bugs and busted them, so just give up, Steve." (Who is Steve?) Splitter sighed and laid back down on the bed next to her. Penny blushed. "Calm down, he can't hold out forever. Besides, you know what it's like to not get laid in a while, right?"
"What the-" she was cut off.
"Yeah, you can't lie to me. So, face away from the mirror when you talk. I have two plans." Penny looked at the mirror discreetly, but saw nothing wrong with it. "He did something to block my powers. I learned some things, so we may be able to out of here."
Penny was ready to believe anything at this point. Kidnapped two times in the same day, only difference was that the room was nicer this time around. "So," she whispered, "what's the plan?"
"First one you may not like. I threaten to kill you, then try to. If he comes in to stop me, we can get out. If not, you die. Odds are that they need me much more than you."
Penny was nervous, "A-and the other?"
Splitter smiled, "We get him so horny that he bursts in the room without any weapons. Won't be hard, he likes threesomes. When the time is right, I'll give you a pinch and you need to flip me over and get on top. Another pinch means that you need to jump off to the side as fast as you can. Easy enough, so whenever you are ready..."
Penny had to ask something, "When those gas bombs went off, why didn't you run? Why did you stay?"
Splitter laughed, his eyes still shut, "I have a soft spot for cute cats."
It was Splitter who started. He rolled on top of Penny faster then she could blink. He started to kiss her neck gently, then moved up to her cheek. After a few seconds he whispered in her her, "Try to pretend you're into this. Also, make everything you say look seductive." Penny nodded slightly, but was more stressed out than before. She was pretending, but it wasn't pleasure she was faking. She was pretending to pretend. As splitter slowly kissed his way to her mouth, her body convulsed with pleasure. Her body pushed itself up to meet his. (He is as good as he was in that dream) she thought.
Penny wrapped her arms around Splitter's body and kissed him the best she could. Her tail was free from her body and flicking the air. Her ears twitched with anticipation. Her whiskers even tickled her face. Penny had never felt this close to anyone, emotionally or physically. She was only barely aware of it, but her legs had wrapped around his, pulling him in closer to her body. Penny thought that she was about to become a woman. Suddenly, a pinch.
Penny wanted to be spontaneous, or at least her hormones did. She still had a firm grip around Splitter and literally flipped him over. She didn't know what to do, so she decided to lick his face slowly. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the mirror fog up, then clear away, the fog up, and so on. (He's right! Only a little more...) "You know what? I'd prefer a threesome if possible..." she tried to sound as alluring as possible.
"Well... I'd help you out there, but I don't really know anyone near here." Splitter said, sounding innocent. Then his voice echoed in her head, "He's a horse."
Penny smiled, "Oh well, I could really use a big strong horse right about now." Sure enough, the door burst open and a frantic and hyperventilating horse ran in. He immediately jumped on the bed behind Penny and started to unbuckle his pants. After he kneeled down, she felt a pinch. She sprung off of the bed and saw Splitter act in a smooth manner. He kicked the horse in the crotch, ripped off the strange helmet and the keys, then put him to sleep.
"That worked out perfectly." Penny said, her lips still quivering.
"Not exactly, I'll be cleaning fur out of my mouth for a week. Come on, no time to lose. His relief will be here in about ten minutes." Splitter grabbed Penny's arm and dragged her through the door, stopping at the monitors. He picked up the headphones and put them on. Penny thought it was strange. "Trust me, I need them." He led her through another door and they ended up in a fancy looking hallway with offices all around. Penny didn't need to ask, but she could see that Splitter thought it was strange. He held her hand now and cautiously walked through the empty building. Every once in a while, they would stop and see an employee on the phone in an office.
(This is just too creepy...) she thought. Of all the people and businesses in the city, only a handful could own a building as massive as this. Even so, they wouldn't kidnap anyone to get a profit or information. "Listen Splitter, This building is either owned by Tynacorp, Bugle Automotive, or Drakeguard Security. They clearly wouldn't do anything like this, so we don't really have any leads. We need to get out of here as fast as we can and figure out what we should do." They arrived at an elevator.
Penny walked on, but Splitter didn't budge, "... you forgot someone..." Penny tried to leave but he pushed her in as the doors shut. (What could he mean by that? I thought of everyone.)
It was a long ride. She was on a high floor, and employees were getting on at almost every stop. Penny had time to think, but no one else came to mind. Splitter knew something, but he wasn't going to tell her. Only one of the things that sobered her up. (I still can't believe it, I was about to have sex with a human. What would my parents think? What would everyone think? I can't... I can't be in love with him, that just goes against nature.) First floor, her stop.
She walked out and saw an elegantly decorated lobby, complete with a large fountain, paintings, a large front desk, and a crystal chandelier. Penny quickly made her was outside, trying to avoid any attention. She was outside on the street when she turned around to look at the sign on the front of the building. She fell on the pavement as she stared in confusion.
Paladin Industries
The hero she wrote her first article about, the most admired person in the city, her idol. It was his building that held them captive. It was his employees that kidnapped them. He was behind it all. "No... there's got to be some mistake. Something just doesn't add up. There has to be a reason, maybe he saved us from the people who placed those bombs and... and... maybe they were just making sure we were okay?" Penny heard herself make excuses, but knew that even to her they were lame.
She sat there dumbfounded for a few minutes when Splitter emerged, his shirt torn and blood seeping out of a cut on his leg. Penny ran up to him, but he assured her that he was okay. "The master isn't home today. Looks like my original plan will have to suffice. Dammit..."
Penny was curious and scared, "What would this plan be? I mean, even if the Paladin is responsible, there's no way you could even get close to him."
Splitter was back to his silent self again, "... recruit the villains... keep them alive... show the world the true Paladin... every monster deserves death..." Penny wanted to ask more, but he was already marched somewhere with a target in mind. She did her best to keep up.
