Just keep feeding comments and reviews, (Or favorite them) and I'll keep em coming. :D I will warn you though, my spell checker for some reason is being...stupid. So if you see a lot of spelling mistakes, forgive me. I will tell you one thing, typing without a spell checker is like going to a battle field in the nude DX Anyway, I hope you enjoy it none the less.
Chapter 3: Welcome to Coneria.
o0Short Recap0o
Fox was not sitting well with the whole part about being raped by Falco and Wolf at the same time. With his pride now scared for life, and his mind is fueled with hatred and anger, he has no choice but to leave the Star Fox team, and the entire ELDF. (Elite Lylat Defense Force) If he was going to get his revenge, he'll have to get as far from Falco and Wolf as possible. As of now, he is a citizen of the city of Coneria, a massive metropolis that has survived many invasions. Most of them coming from a mad monkey by the name of Andross. We now join our Ex-Star Fox member, to see how he will live his new, and temporary life.
At one of the Coneria junk yards, a black and green colored fighter jet, that looks similar to an arwing, was gliding towards a large open space. Once it was clear for a landing, it hovered in the air for a little bit, as it's landing gears inched closer towards the ground, until it finally made successful contact. Fox switches off the engines, then he turns off the power. The engines humming slowly dies down once the power was cut, and a hissing sound was heard as the cockpit's windshield opens. With one hand resting on the base of the cockpit, Fox uses his hand as a spring to leap out of the seat, and on to the dusty ground of the junkyard. The junkyard was filled with what you would expect in one; old, broken up vehicles of all kinds piled on top of each other, along with old and broken down machines. Fox takes one look at the Arwing, feeling rather uneasy about leaving it here.
"I wonder.." Fox thought to himself as he pulled out his trusty matter transmitter, and checked on the storage capacity level. "I think..." He looked at the Arwing once more, then back at the transmitter. "I think it can store a whole Arwing. It should at least..." Fox then held up the transmitter, and once he hits the switch, the transmitter begins to scan the Arwing, to make sure it has enough room to store it. Once the scanning was complete, the Arwing broke down and materialized itself into matter. Then the transmitter begins to absorb it like a vacuum cleaner. It took about twelve minutes at best to store the entire Arwing, and once it was inside the transmitter, Fox took a look at the capacity limit.
"Wow! I was barely able to store the whole thing in there." Fox whistled as the transmitter ran out of space after storing that entire Arwing like that.
Once that was all said and done, Fox opens the lid on his communicator, and turned on the screen to pull up a map on where the location of his new home may be. Your probably wondering how was Fox able to own a home already, when he just arrived. When a member of the ELDF (Elite Lylat Defense Force) resigns, they are given a home, and money to live off of or help them start on their new life style. And the quality of that said home and money, depends on how much effort was put into the force. Seeing as how Fox is an official defender of the Lylat system, stopped invasions, and led in a whole team to take down many forces, including Andross for that matter, you can imagine what kind of things Fox is going to receive. Fox opens up a link towards the ELDF messenger, because that is where his location is given, as well as a message regarding his money.
"You have two, new messages." Fox raised an eyebrow as the happy, yet rude robotic voice told him. Fox was only expecting one message..and he knew where that would be from, but where did the other one come from?
"Play them." Fox commanded, and waited for the messenger system to run it's course.
"Message one." A video now played on the screen, which happened to be the chief.
"Fox, it was such an honor to work with the son of James McCloud, who defeated the entire alien invasion. And I am proud to say that you have carried his name very well. Your combat skills, how you became such an ace in a matter of seconds...it was like seeing your dad in action all over again." The chief spoke his words of appreciation. "I know that the conflict you had with Falco and Wolf are going to hurt you for a while...but I do hope that one day you will come back to us. Here is a map of your home." The video was then changed to a whole map of Coneria, showing Fox's location, and where his home is located.
"If you need to see this map again, just open your mail. You will always have an account in our servers, so feel free to open a link with us at anytime." The chief continued. "Also, for such a wonderful service, and great dedication to the force, you are given 50 million zen. You can pick it up by showing this emblem in any bank you enter. Thank you very much Fox. And good luck on where ever life takes you."
The video ended with the chief giving a salute, then the screen turned light blue with white letters that reads: End of message. "Permission to play, Message two." The robotic voiced asked.
"Permission given." Fox replied as the video screen then showed Falco's face. Fox wanted to cut this off and delete it, but he was interested in what the bird had to say.
"Fox...uh...listen.." Falco spoke with his hand in the back of his head. "I heard about what you did and...well I found the error of my ways. Wolf hasn't learned what happened yet but, I want to let you know that I'm sorry for doing that to you. I was listening to my dick and not my head and well...you see where that ended up. If you ever come back to the team, I'll make it up to you, ok? And forget all of that happened. Take care Fox." Then the screen went black as Fox turns it off with a smirk on his face.
"Oh you'll make it up to me alright, Falco...both you AND Wolf." A grin formed on Fox's face as he begins to walk down to Coneria city, which would take about 30 minutes on foot.
As Fox walked the distance which was not a problem to a high ranking officer like himself, he was already planning on what he will do once he arrived to the city, and speaking out loud to himself. "First thing's first...I have to make sure I wear a disguise of some kind. I don't want anyone to know it's me..." Then Fox stopped walking and took a look at what he had on. With his current outfit, people would recognize him in a heart beat. Not to mention, his fur would be a dead give away too. Then, an idea popped into his head. Yes, it would take a while for it to clean off later, but it's all he has for now.
Fox hid himself behind a few bushes, and undressed himself, making sure no one was around. Then, he pulled out his transmitter, and withdrew just what he needed: His spray cans for the paint job. He sprayed white colored paint all over his body, making sure to get EVERY inch of fur he had on him. The white highlights he had on his fur already would blend well. And to even add onto his disguise, Fox painted a nice black mark on his face, to make him look like he had some kind of tattoo. Once that was all said and good, Fox puts his clothes back on, and stored the cans away. Then he continued on his walk to the city.
"If anyone asks, I am just a cosplayer. A huge fan of Fox." Fox told himself with a smile.
Upon Fox's arrival in Coneria, Fox stared at the tall, high-tech buildings in awe. The hustle-bustle of the city, all the stores and visiting sites, the attractions...you would think that someone like Fox would be used to this kind of environment. But this was actually the first time, Fox was allowed to walk freely in a city, without having to worry about enemy troops setting up traps, or bombs hidden in the buildings, or having to expect a tank around every corner. Now that Fox was not in the state of heavy combat or war, he could pay attention to other things that he never really noticed on the battle field. But first thing is first. He needed to locate his home, and get himself a new matter transmitter.
"Alright, the location of my home was supposed to be in...the residential district." He pulled up a map from his communicator, and saw that his home was actually located in a nice spacious area, that was close to the city, however it was all the way on the other side..which means more walking for him. "Hm...I can walk to my house at anytime. I'd like to sight see for a while before I go there." Fox thought to himself, as he wandered around the city. Not only to sight see, but also familiarize himself with his all new surroundings.
It nearly took three hours for Fox to explore the whole city on foot. And even though Fox went through such heavy training, his feet were now showing signs of tiredness. Then, Fox begins to scratch himself a little. "Ah geeze...I've been out too long. The paint is starting to itch now." With that condition in mind, Fox knew where his next destination would be right now. It was now time for Fox to head on home, and thanks to all that sight seeing he's done, he was not too far off from where he needed to be. "Note to self...I should invest some of that money in a car..or a bike rather." Fox said to himself, as he started to scratch his neck.
Fox soon arrived at a white, three storie building, that rests nicely in this quiet area. The area Fox was in now, was a bit of distance from the city, and the residential district. The chief must have guessed that Fox might want some peace and quiet, so that's exactly what Fox received. A nice home on a peaceful area like this. The grass was kept pretty clean, and it has a couple hills behind him. Not only that, Fox has a nice view of the ocean from here as well. Fox enters his home through the garage, wondering if it's possible to store his arwing in there. When Fox walked in, his jaw dropped at the sight of the space. He has more than enough room to store his Arwing, and at least one car in this garage. Plus, it's perfect for whenever he wanted to work on something that was mechanical.
So with that said and done, Fox pulled out his matter transmitter, and withdrew his Arwing from it. Fox watched as the digitized matter occupy the space that his Arwing should sit in, and soon it began to put itself back together. He watched as the Arwing reverted itself back to it's original shape. Then he took a few minutes to check and see if everything was intact. Once that was said and done, Fox went to explore the rest of his home. He scratched himself a few more times, before he stepped through his garage door.
It turned out the garage door was connected to his kitchen, since it was the first thing he entered. The black counter, and stove, along with the black refrigerator and microwave matched well with the black tiles on the floor, and walls. Fox also had a dishwasher that sat right next to the kitchen sink. Fox then entered the living room next. It didn't take long for him to figure out the whole floor was made of tile, just like the kitchen. He had a rug in the middle, two large couches, a wooden table with glass in the middle, an entertainment center to Fox's liking, a fireplace, and nice decorative lamps for taste.
"I like what I see so far." Fox said to himself as he walked down the hall for a little bit, to find out that the wash room is on the same level, as well as one of the bathrooms. A quick glance down stairs, and he can see an empty basement with gray carpeting. Then he went upstairs to the upper rooms, to find three of them empty, all of them except one, having wooden floors. The other one had gray carpeting in that one as well, and Fox decided to make this room his own. The last room on this level was the bathroom, which was somewhat large, has a shower, and a jacuzzi included.
The first thing Fox did, was unload the items he had stored in his matter transmitter, which was his clothes, his belongings, the furniture from the Great Fox, and of course, his trusty blaster. He adjusted the furniture to his liking, and decided to upgrade on that stuff later. Right now...Fox really wanted to take a bath. And get this stuff off of him. Because now the itching was driving him insane.
"Alright...this is where I live from now on. Which is perfect for me to start on my revenge plot now." Fox said to himself as he sat in his new jacuzzi, bubbles and all. "I want to make sure that those two feel the EXACT same thing I did...I want them to feel violated. I want them to feel like they've been torn apart..I want their pride to be crushed in the dust...just like mine." Fox sank body lower in the tub, the water almost reaching his muzzle. "We'll see what tomorrow will bring when I search the city for useful information..." Fox mumbled and just relaxed himself in the tub, his mind wandering with strategies on how he want his revenge to play out. Somewhere along the line...he knew that he's going to have to go towards a side he's never went to before. And work with that side, to get what he wants.
Whew! I normally wouldn't make a chapter that long, but I wanted to get the detailed stuff, and most of the dialog out of the way. So we're killing two birds with one stone! (No pun or offense intended towards any birds out there) Anyway, please leave a comment for me to feed on. And happy reading everyone :3
Peppy: Say it.
No, this is not the time to say that kind of thing. No ones in a situation to--
Peppy: SAY THE DAMN ADVICE!
Alright! Sheesh! -sighs- And don't forget people...if your ever in trouble and you need some help, do a barrel roll. -_-"
Peppy: Damn skippy!
