His antlers are both normal, curving backward and ending with five spines along their length, with two smaller 'branch' antlers closer to his skull, shaped like hands.    -Uniform: White body suit from neck down to ankles, with red gloves, belt, cape, mask and calf-sleeves around his legs, and also a red Maple Leaf on his chest, to express his patriotic loyalty for Canada. Fur turns white, due to nanobots in his mask, and he wears white contact lenses to also hide the colour of his eyes, giving him a very ghostly appearance. His costume is made of lightweight fabric inlaid with kevlar, conforming to his body fairly snugly, but with enough elasticity that it does not hinder his movements. Gloves have reinforced titanium hidden underneath, which he can use to block weapons or deliver painful backhand strikes, most especially the Spinning Backfist technique, also known as Mat wiang klap Weapons and Tools: Bolas, Staff, two-way radio in ear with transmitter on left arm. Power(s): Teleportation Residence:

Single-bedroom condo in Fairbank, near the University of Toronto. Not further information disclosed. Base of Operations: Concealed underground area known only as 'The Bunker'. Hidden beneath a condemned building near the Lake Ontario waterfront, the base is operated and inhabited by Warp's friend and ally, former Yakuza member Akio Akechi, who creates his tools and also designed his costume. The Bunker is powered by a diesel-fueled generator hidden in the basement of the building above, which is sealed off by a boarded-up door. The Bunker consists of only four rooms. The main room, where Akio spends most of his day, is called the work area, and divided into two sections; the work bench, where Warp's tools are made by Akio himself, and the listening post with a state-of-the-art computer, a police scanner, and a radio and television that are always tuned to local news networks, where Warp can monitor happenings around the city while not out on patrol. Since Akio never leaves The Bunker, a fold-out cot is placed next to the listening post where he can sleep. The other two rooms are located at the back. The first is known as the wash closet, where a laundry and bathroom facilities can be found, tapped directly into the city's water main, and the base has its own hot water heater, powered by electricity. The next room over is the medical room, with all the necessary items for first-aid if Warp is injured in the field or if he rescues someone who is hurt, and includes a second cot. Also Cannot teleport into a place he has not seen before  -Relies greatly on surprise-attacks from a distance; if someone notifies his target of his coming and that surprise is lost, it'll force him to change his approach  -Cannot teleport if he is pressured by an opponent, leaving him unable to concentrate on a target location to warp to -Any momentum generated prior to teleporting, including sprints, tumbles, falls or in the midst of an attack are carried with him when he teleports, and continue when he reappears. If he is falling off of a building or high rise, and teleports part of the way down, wherever he reappears he will continue falling at the same velocity as before he warped; this can make it hazardous for him to fight at locations high off of the ground. Information:             From the Journal of The Warp:             My name is Daniel Tonraq.                 At least, that's how the public knows me. Ah, but maybe I flatter myself believing even that. The public knows me as a mere Accountant in the city of Toronto. I graduated from University as a Mathematician and in Accounting specializing in bookkeeping and general mathematics -most call me a genius at calculations and algebra, but if you know how to read them I really do not find them all that complicated. But, it was enough to land me a job with honors at a rather prestigious firm in Toronto. Now, for the sake of protecting my associates from prying eyes that may find this journal of mine, I will not name the accounting firm I work for. I will simply refer to it as... 'The Workplace', for now. But the world knows me by other names -names that are not public knowledge, that when heard are not traced back to me, but to a vigilante that prowls the streets of Toronto, preying upon the criminal underworld. Names that, honestly sound silly to me sometimes, but they bring terror to the unjust -robbers, killers, and most of all, foreign crime factions. The Ghost of Toronto. The Terror of Foreign Crime. The Mob-Killer -though I do stress, I have not killed anyone. The Patriotic Vigilante. Okay, that last one made me laugh when I first heard it... it must be because I have customized the colours of my uniform to match that of the Canadian Flag. I confess, I love my country; does that make me a patriot? Perhaps it does, but I like to believe my patriotism is my willingness to bring Canada where it always should have been; to prevent this multicultural wonder of the world from becoming a den of thieves from other countries. Scum like the Triads, the Yakuza, the Mafia factions of Russia, Germany, Italy -all of those, and the Hell's Angels alike. The biggest names in organized crime... And the first victims of my vengeance when I became The Warp. Yes... I was motivated by loss and revenge in the beginning. My mother and father were both killed by foreign crime syndicates; like myself, my mother was an accountant, and worked for the mob unknowingly. When she found out the truth, she did not cower behind the knowledge; she did the right thing, turning all the information she had over to the RCMP and trusting them to deal with the mob. I assume you believe this is where I say the RCMP were bought out, and gunned her down themselves or sold her to the mob for their own profit? Were my story so predictable, perhaps I would not even need to tell it. No... the RCMP attempted to deal with the mob; they were not bought out, they simply had never found enough evidence against them until then. They made their move on Mafia hideouts, resulting in a firefight that chased them out of the city. However, on their way out, they chose to tie up loose ends; they indiscriminately killed everyone who worked for them, except for 'family' -namely anyone who wasn't part of the mob directly became new inhabitants of the local mortuary... including my mother. The RCMP failed. They tried... but the members of the Mafia that murdered my mother were far more numerous than the Toronto Police, numbering tens of thousands -more than anyone in the city ever dared to believe actually lived there, right under their very noses. And so my mother died, but was regarded as a hero to the city for her bravery in turning over those she had been working for. They even built a new school over one of the mob hideouts that were destroyed and named it after her in her honor. I was proud of her... but my father was lost. He was angry with her; angry that she put herself, and -he convinced himself- her husband and only son, in harm's way like that. She should have simply quit and left, keeping quiet and keeping the attention of the mob away from herself. I know in my heart my father was also proud of her for what she did, but the grief in his own outweighed his pride. He took to drinking -he was not an angry drunk, but he was a foolish one, spouting nonsense about the crime factions in the city in the middle of his favorite pub. Apparently though this did not sit well with a member of the Yakuza who happened to be there one night. He turned on my father, interpreting his words as a dishonor to his 'clan', and forced him out to the street and into an alley. I don't know what my father did after that... but I know what became of him; his head was rend from his shoulders by a katana the man had been carrying -a katana misidentified as a kendo practice sword because of its black scabbard and handle, followed by the lack of a hilt; to anyone it looked like an ordinary practice sword, but hidden inside was an old but efficient weapon. And in the span of a year... I was an orphan at the age of fourteen. I was taken in by my aunt -my mother's sister, who raised me in Ottawa, far from the horrors I had endured in Toronto. But I always intended to return eventually... I would not let the syndicates that had taken my family continue to thrive in my city -my hometown... my country. Canada prides itself on being welcoming of other cultures, giving them a place far from the dangers of their own homeland, but there are times even I feel we are too welcoming. Although Canada remains the country with one of the lowest crime rates on Earth, my words prove that it still exists. But I would put an end to it -so help me, I would end it. During my time living with my aunt, I took up various practices. I enlisted in a martial arts school, teaching Muai Thai -a powerful fighting art, known also as 'the art of eight limbs' focusing on the use of every limb, every joint, as a weapon. A leader in the world of martial arts, designed for full-contact combat. I practiced this on the side during my years in High School, and continued to practice throughout my years in University, eventually reaching the rank of 'red sash' -the highest rank before the teacher level, with a specialty in the fist and elbow-strike techniques. Alongside this I was also taught Krabi-krabong; a sword-staff fighting art derived from Muai Thai. But it was during this time I also discovered I was gifted. It happened completely by accident; I was running late for school having missed my bus, as I had twice that week; my teacher had warned me that if I was late one more time it would affect my grade. I was so close to graduating with honors that I could not afford to lose my straight-A grades in Mathematics! I pleaded to the heavens above thatI would arrive on time, and ran, and ran, and... Suddenly ran face-first into my locker. Yes, laugh all you want, but I unmistakably had been, merely seconds before, twenty blocks from my school; had I somehow forgotten the whole trip and miraculously arrived on time? A glance at my watch resulted in the discarding of that theory; it had only been a minute since I last looked at it -not even star athletes could run that distance in sixty seconds, and I had even arrived before classes were about to start! By my calculations, gauging the average stop-light time and the number of crosswalks between my previous...  I guess you really don't care about the specifics. But it should have taken me at least another half hour to make it to school on foot, yet somehow I had spontaneously appeared right where I wanted to be; a place I knew and remembered well, able to picture it in my mind exactly the way it was. This haunted me all day -I nearly failed a pop quiz in my history class because of my distraction. On the way home, I kept trying to make it happen again; I tried to travel into a movie theater, but I'd never been inside of this one in particular -I had no idea what the inside was like. I tried several other locations, but it wasn't until I thought that I wanted to go home that I very suddenly appeared there. Another look at my watch; it was exactly the same time as just before I had appeared -merely two seconds had passed. As hard as it was to believe, I actually had the gift of Teleportation! Setting up a camera in my room, and recording myself performing it, I found I actually seemingly vanished in a flash of light so instant -like the muzzle flash of a gunshot, being the closest comparison I could think of. Even in super slow motion, I could not see more than a mere blink of light before I vanished and appeared elsewhere. I tested and tested, trying to find out... actually I no longer know what I was trying to learn. But I quickly found out the effort exhausted me, and I collapsed onto my bed two hours before my usual bed time. My aunt woke me for dinner an hour later, surprised as I was to find me asleep. I told my aunt what had happened -predictably, she didn't believe me, until I held her by the hand and teleported both of us down to the kitchen. She was so shocked, I thought she would run out the backdoor screaming profanity and Catholic curses, believing me some sort of devil-spawn. Luckily, she was not so jumpy, and instead took the time to listen to my story again. How I gained this power, I don't know. But then I knew I could use this gift. I carried on through the years, practicing my new teleportation power alongside the Muai Thai lessons I signed up for. I honed my body and mind, I went to University to study various accounts of Mathematics while simultaneously reaching red sash level in my chosen fighting art -needless to say I became a very calculative person. I even tested my combat skills in a Martial Arts tournament under an alias -which I will not reveal- and placed second. By the time I was twenty-five years old, I was a skilled Martial Artist and a master of Mathematics. It was time for me to return home... And so, back to Toronto I went. I have a separate journal that lists all of the things I did following that, but I will give you the short version here in this one. I began my crusade against the mob; since more than a decade had passed after they were run out of the city, they had moved back in and were starting up again. I landed a job in the accounting firm I mentioned before, 'The Workplace'. Sure enough, I was in luck -perhaps it had been destined for me reach this job, but I found myself taking the very position my mother had once held, serving as an accountant for high-class entrepreneurs, or at least that was the title the media gave them. But I knew what they really were; I'd spent months learning the dirty secrets of the mob presences in Toronto, and I learned who all of their higher-ups were. These high-class citizens I dealt with... they were the ones. I began to follow the money like a trail; I knew where their payments were going because I was their bookkeeper. I knew who was being paid by these crime bosses. Judges, a few crooked cops, street punks and gangsters alike; all of them, taking this blood money for their own selfish gain, I started with them. I tracked them down, made them talk, and targeted the higher-ups. I didn't start small either; as soon as I knew who all of the bosses and Lieutenants were, I went straight for them. The Yakuza were the hardest ones to deal with; their leaders all had Samurai-fetishes, each one trained in how to use a sword and with me only able to use my fists, it made contact with them extremely risky. A few sword cuts to my arms later, I met someone; the young man who actually forged those very blades for those men, and I learned he actually wanted out of the Yakuza, but because of 'tradition', he could not leave the 'clan' unless he was dead. Helping him stage his own demise, he set up shop in an area I'd chosen to be my hideout -something else I will not be revealing here, and he began to make tools for me. He modified my outfit with titanium bracers and remade my leotard out of kevlar -with a silk undercoat that I must admit, was more comfortable than my old outfit, with no loss of flexibility. I was ready to take on the other Yakuza bosses. I was able to deflect their swords at no risk to myself, until I could land that critical blow, and small-arms fire was less of a threat to me now. With that, and my teleportation powers, I brought down all the Yakuza leaders and the Triads, even most of the Mafia families, before the rest fled underground. Still... in two years I had forced out some of the largest criminal groups in Toronto. By my twenty-seventh birthday crime had dropped to a record low even for a Canadian city. But it would never last; desperate criminals lead to desperate measures, and soon my world started getting just a little stranger. So much so that the police stopped hunting me out of fear of these new, unnatural beings that had begun to emerge. My mission was not... no, my mission is not yet over. I am the protector of Toronto, a Canadian Patriot, and I guess... a Superhero. I am the Nightmare of Foreign Crime; those who come to this country will not bring evil with them, and those who flee those countries to escape that evil will not be pursued by it. Canada is a peaceful, multicultural nation, and with my power I will keep at least this city that way. I am The Warp.
