Guardians: Downfall
Authors notes!
So, for those whom are interested in the Guardians story, figured I'd give some history to it. Downfall takes place approximately 83 years after the First Contact War between Humans and Pelzigans. The First Contact War ended in 2694 when the Lothian forces, an ancient enemy of the Guardians and Pelzigans, shows itself and attacks a fleet of Human vessels that where engaged in battle with a squad of Pelzigan vessels. When that happened, Pelzigan's suffered heavy casualties in the conflict as well as Human vessels. The ships that escaped were persued by a Lothian Capital ship and were forced to work together to survive. During that time all Pelzigan vessels were lost while a single Human ship escaped with a hand full of Humans and a few Pelzigans. On April of 2694, negotiations opened up between Humanity and Pelzigan after several colonies had gone dark, presumably from Lothian attacks. On October of 2694, the Unified Galactic Systems Military was formed to keep the peace between the two species and also offer protection for them. However, During the peace negotiations, The Lothian forces had token control of a considerable portion of the Epsilon Eridani system and had begun to appear within the Sol System and considerably close to Humanities home, Earth. Within 15 years, the UGSM was able to push the Lothians out of the Sol System and were able to regain most of what was lost in the Epsilon Eridani System and keep them at bay for 59 years. Caught in a continuous struggle to keep the enemy at bay, the construction of the Serenity, Valkyrie, and Titus begun. By 2776, ahead of schedule, the Valkyrie was finished and was dispatched to aid in the protection of the outer colonies in the Epsilon System. In 2777, Serenity was finished. She was the second biggest vessel ever build in Human history, and came close to beating the Pelzigans massive Citadel Class Ship called Caomhnóirí Solas which was lost approximately 157 years ago, presumably destroyed during the Battle for Leben prior to contact with Humanity, it roughly translated into the Guardians Light. The Titus was still under construction when the Lothian forced invaded Leben in 2778. There is so much more guys, I hope you guys enjoy the story as parts come out and as i'm working on the chapters i will be releasing bits of the lore for the story as I progress through this, and hopefully i can get a few new viewers for the story.
