#6 of poems

just a poem of a mistake I made, im waiting for the one I hurt, to come back

I once sat and stared at these four walls around me;

I sat and pondered as if I were waiting for something greater;

one day a light came forth and reached out to me. it said "take my hand and I will show you another path, a better path";

I took the hand, and it showed me wonderful things then soon after another light came and made the same offer, yet again I took it

I saw many things, things I cant un-see, soon later a third light came, and again I took the offer.

I spent years with this light, learning what love was, love...was the first light. I broke away from the last.

and now yet again, I sit here, staring at these four surrounding walls again, pondering, waiting.

waiting for a greater event,

pondering what would have been had I never switched paths from the first to the second and then the third

I wait ever more in these four walls

I wait, For the first light to reach out again.

A light that is ever present but never seen

A light, that still has not come

a light that may never come

a light that showed hope, love, passion, and above all else forgivness

a light, that I may never have again.
