#12 of Arctacia Mythos

Personal log recorded by A.Z.

It's been awhile now since I read the last log, #3508-A. I had no words for it then when I finished the log and I don't imagine most others would as well. Clearly, the event was tragic. As best as I could discern, Arctic-Cat's odd possession caused him to murder Jeff Edmund, the founder of the EOP. This was a critical blow to the New Earth settlement. Jeff was a leader and inspiration to the team. It was because of him that this group of humans got together and were making history. Now he's dead and I can only see this causing serious problems for this colony.

The log I had extracted was from an audio log that Arctic-Cat recorded shortly after the incident with Edmund. I'm still trying to piece together why he did this and what strange force possessed his mind. There has to be some cryptic message to his words. The way he spoke of a vision...I dunno...it just seemed oddly familiar. I remember that dream I had myself some time ago that was rather odd, and I guess I may be relating a little to that. Granted, the two were different. Yet, I can't help but feel some odd connection between it all.

I'm probably going to need to take some time to think. I should probably rest up a little before I go back through these again. I have to admit, as much as I'm hating the outcome of what I've been following, there is a level of intrigue to this that I just can't deny. In a way, I do feel a little eager to find out more...
