"Slain a dragon in survival! Can't top that!" [Marko]

"I still hate you." [Titus]

"You had it coming, Titus." [Me]

"Yeah, says his boyfriend!" [Titus]

"I'm not gay." Marko was right, this is a bit of a touchy subject now.

"Sure, you aren't. And I wasn't pummeled by Marko, and he's not gay either."

"He's not gay!" [Marko and Kiari]

"I just figured out who you have a crush on!" [Alan]

Kiari started blushing a little. Dammit Alan, you're making everyone uncomfortable. "No, I really doubt it-"

"It's Tanner! You're in love with Tanner! I guess you aren't gay, Icer!" [Alan]

She was blushing really bad now, and I probably was too, "No I don't! We're just friends!"

"Friends with benefits." [Derek]

"What?! You like that fag?!" [Titus]

"Somebody's jealous..." [Marko]

"Yeah, 'cause I'll admit that I've got a crush on her. He doesn't!" Titus was pissed as hell, but he hadn'd known her longer than me.

"You don't know that!" [Me]

"Wait, what?!" [Alan, Derek, and Kiari] Marko did a good job acting surprised, too.

"Oh, really now?"

"Yeah! And I'll prove it!" I turned and pulled her head to mine, kissing her. I've wanted this for so long, but why am I getting it after I don't anymore? What am I even doing?!

"You little faggot!" He walked over to me and punched me in the face.

*Ow... My head hurts...*

Someone shook my arm, lulling me out of sleep. Where am I? This looks like... The nurse's office?

"Hey, wake up." [Marko]

"Huh? What happened?" [Me]

"Titus knocked you out in one hit. Kinda embarrasing-" [Marko]

"Oh, stop. The last thing he needs is encouragement for revenge!" [Nurse]

"Sorry." [Marko]

"Ugh, so I'm gonna have black eye?" [Me]

"Yeah, and he gave you a bloody nose. You'll have to have a tissue for a while." [Nurse]

"Great, I'll look like a nerd!" [Me]

"Well, on the bright side, you're being sent home." [Nurse]

"What?! I have a test in english, I can't-" [Me]

"Actually, that's being done right now. You missed Spanish, and the first half of english." [Marko]

"God! Why did this even happen?!" [Me]

"Oh, are you experiencing amnesia?" [Nurse]

"... No. I remember... But why did I do it!?" [Me]

"I haven't heard your side of the story as of yet, so I'd like to know myself." [Nurse]

"You won't tell anyone?" [Marko]

"Not a soul." [Nurse]

"Okay, for starters, I realized I was gay this weekend." [Me]

"We're kinda a couple now." [Marko]

"But if anyone finds out, they'll tease me, hate me, and it'll be worse than having to keep it a secret." [Me]

"And before he went gay, he had a crush on this girl, Kiari." [Marko]

"And then Alan said she had a crush on me, which pissed off Titus, and revealed that I had a crush on her, and to prove it I kissed her. But I don't anymore, I don't have a crush on her, I'm with Marko, so what should I do?" [Me]

"I'm not a councelor, but it sounds like you two have the most absurd story ever. I already talked to the others when they brought you in, they said Titus was being a jerk and you stood up against him. And you agreed, Marko." [Nurse]

"Yeah, 'cause they don't know we're together. No one does, except you." [Marko]

"And why don't you tell them?" [Nurse]

"Because they'd tease us and be jerks." [Me]

"If you expect them to do that, why are they you're friends?" [Nurse]

"That's what Mr. Orohz said when me and Marko were arguing last week. And honestly, I don't know. They've been being jerks lately, even before we played truth or dare." [Me]

"Then why don't you just stop hanging out with them?" [Nurse]

"They're our only friends, it'd just be us." [Marko]

"Well, if you truly love eachother, than you two can survive without friends, right?" [Nurse]

"Yeah..." [Me and Marko]

The bell went off, and I got up out of the chair. I grabbed my stuff and headed to my locker, Marko followed. I exchanged the stuff from my backpack with the stuff in my locker, and headed outside. Marko followed me all the way to my car.

"Shouldn't you have gotten on the bus?" [Me]

"Naw, I checked with my dad, he said I could hang out at your place after school." [Marko]

"Oh. Man, this sucks. I can't believe I did that!"

"Kissed Kiari?"

"Yeah! It was just... I got caught up in the moment, it didn't even mean anything, there wasn't a spark, I just... Did it to piss off Titus."

"Well, you got what you wanted, and a black eye to show for it."

"Yeah... It hurts like hell, too. Titus is still stronger."

"Titus only has muscle in his arms, his pecks and quads are just fat."

"Great, so I got knocked out by a fat guy."

"No, that's not what I-"

"I know, I know. I really hate him though, I never actually liked him, anyways. The only reason I hung out with him was because you guys did."

"Yeah, that's kinda how I felt. And he only hung out with us to get to Kiari, who doesn't even like him like that."

"Well, maybe she will when she finds out I'm gay. I'm gonna do that today."

"Really? I mean, what if she tells everyone?"

"I don't think she would, but now that I know she's into me, she'll hate me when she finds out I'm gay."

"She wouldn't do that though. She's not as much of a jerk as everybody else."

"Hm... You know, come to think of it, everyone started being a jerk around the time Titus joined in."

"Oh, so no one likes him? Wow, that's great!"

"Wait, why do you hate him?"

"'Cause he gave my boyfriend a black eye and a bloody nose! I wanna beat the fuckin' shit out of him!"

"No, it needs to be worse... Let's talk it over with Kiari."

* About ten minutes later *

"Hey, Tanner, you okay?" Kiari's voice was distorted by the phone's speaker.

"Yeah." [Me]

"So, what'd you want to talk about?"

"I'm... sorry about earlier."

"Oh... I'm with some of my girl friends, I don't think this is the right time."

"Yeah, I get it. Marko's here right now."

"Oh. Sorry, I can't talk."

"It's okay."

"Tomorrow in Geometry though?"

"I don't know, I'd rather not have Titus around for it."

"Oh. Maybe I can talk later- Wait, hold on," Her voice suddenly got muffled and I could hear another voice, "What?"

"You can talk, we won't mind."

"No, I'm not gonna-"

"Who is it?"

"Tanner."

"Oh, he's cute!"

"Yeah, but I'm not gonna-"

"Just go into my room, it's down the hall, on the left."

"But-"

"Do it!"

"Fine!", Her voice was normal, "Hold on a second, Tanner... ...Okay, what can't Titus know about?"

"Well, I'll get to that. I'm sorry about earlier, though. I just got caught up in the moment-"

"It was great."

"Wait, no, no no no no no!"

"What? I... You're a good kisser-"

"Please, do not make this harder than it is!"

"Oh... I get it. You don't actually like me-"

"No I do! And I did have a crush on you, but-"

"You already have a girlfriend?"

"Well... Sort of..."

"Oh. Okay, I get it-"

"No! You don't! It's not that simple! I really really like you, and you're very attractive, and kind, and sweet, and funny, and I wish I could be with you-"

"Don't let her catch you saying that."

"Well, that's the thing. It's not a her."

"You're joking."

"No, I'm... Gay."

"Wait, then who are you- No."

I held the phone towards Marko, "H-hi, Kiari."

"Really?! You'd rather be gay, and going out with Marko, then be with me!?"

"NO!!" [Me] "That's not what I'm saying! I would much rather be with you than have this issue, but I'm gay, and I can't do anything about it!"

"So, this is why you'd rather not have Titus hear? Because you don't want him to know you're gay?"

"That, and I want him to feel pain."

"Revenge? Really, Tanner?"

"Yes, but not for the black eye, for making us turn against eachother. All of us. We were great friends until Titus came along and fucked everything up."

"Oh, so you want revenge for... what exactly?"

"Ruining the group's friendship. I would totally leave the group, but once me and Marko realized the issue is Titus, we want him to feel pain. Embarrass him so badly, he doesn't get a girlfriend for his last two years in high school."

"You're cruel, Tanner, and I love that. So, what do you have in mind?"
