At first I thought last night was a dream. It wasn't until the alarm clock went off that I realized that it wasn't a dream. I was still naked in a bed that's not mine, but my new boyfriend Morrell's. I was certain now that my dreams had come true now, as he still held me in his arms throughout the night. Morrell turned off the alarm clock and looked deep into my eyes.

"Morning handsome," he said, "I hope you slept well."

"I sure did big guy," I said. I couldn't help but giggle at the play names we gave each other. He got out of the bed and headed towards the bathroom. He turned to face me as I got up instead of closing the door.

"I could use some accompaniment for this shower," he said motioning for me to come closer with a hand. I smiled and followed him inside the bathroom. It felt a little weird knowing that this was my first shower with someone else. But I couldn't be that surprised knowing that he's my boyfriend now. We slowly washed each other off in the shower, making sure we were all nice and clean. Then slowly got dressed and gave each other a quick kiss as we headed downstairs for breakfast.

We got to the school about a half an hour later. I was happy the entire trip, because we were holding hands throughout the whole trip. Once we got there we broke the hand holding and went looking for our friends. It wasn't that hard to find because Ryan Godsey shouted bloody murder at us.

"Ryan, Morrell," he said as the others quickly followed from behind him, "how was your time last night?" We just smiled at each other.

"Should you tell them or should I?" I asked.

"I don't mind either way," Morrell said to me.

"Alright then," I faced everyone, "Morrell and I are now boyfriends." Jubilation went through everyone as the bell rang to go to Geometry. I was glad although knowing the student's possible reaction we both decided we'd remain a secret while we went through school. I didn't mind because the last thing that I wanted to do was spoil his image. We separated once we got into the Geometry class, although we exchanged casual glances at each other.

Gloria was extremely pissed off right about now. She couldn't help but overhear what she just heard. Morrell, in a homosexual relationship, it just didn't seem to add up to her.

"How could he like that no good human," she said to herself angrily, "I'm the head cheerleader, I'd be a way better match for Morrell." She sat in her own class with a group of her own friends. A wolf with a purple tint in her fur sat next to her.

"Gloria," she said, "what's wrong? You don't look too happy." The others turned to face her questionably. That's when she had a thought.

‘I'll make him crawl to me. All I have to do is ruin his relationship with what's his face. And I know how.' Then she spoke, "I overheard something juicy. Listen up." Everyone listened closely as she spoke about that conversation.

Let me tell you in a high school, rumors get around quickly.

We got through the next two classes rather quickly, things were going rather smoothly. I was glad, it had been two and a half days and so far everything was going smoothly. I had over a dozen new friends, a boyfriend, and my grades were starting out "A" okay. Not to mention I was the new star player of the chess team.

I pondered all of this with a smile on my face as I headed for the lunch line. Although I was never keen to school lunch, I had trained myself for nine years to choke it down. I was about to head into my spot in line when a wolf and hyena both males stopped me.

"Sorry," they said, "No gay people in the lunch line."

"Excuse me?" I said in confusion and annoyance. Could someone have overheard the conversation? Or did Morrell tell the secret. No that's impossible I was with Morrell the past two periods so I don't think he told anyone. So someone must have overheard us. I wonder if the others were getting treatment like this as well.

"You heard us," the hyena said, "now you better leave before we mess you up." I growled but left, because the last thing I wanted to do was start a fight, and end up getting suspended. I sat down with my friends and Morrell who were waiting for me.

"Ryan," Morrell said, "you got no food, what happened?" Everyone else looked concerned at me and I looked down.

"I got barred from the lunch line," I said, "it seems they know about us."

"That quickly huh?" Adair asked.

"What now?" Sun and Nokemy asked.

"You better be careful," Hinori said.

"You'd best not go anywhere alone for a while," Runo said.

"They're right," Ryan said, "you never know what might happen." I was about to respond when a group of girls came up to my table, one in particular being a white bunny in a pink shirt that said well Pink on it.

"Hi Morrell," she said, "you getting tired of him yet?" The other girls with her giggled. Morrell just smiled and wrapped an arm around my shoulder.

"You kidding?" he chuckled, "I wouldn't have it any other way. Why don't you take a picture? It'll last longer." We stood up from the table and walked up to the chess as a group. I noticed that girl was flashing me the death gaze, like she really had some beef with me for some reason.

"Who is she?" I asked Morrell.

"That's Gloria," he said, "the head cheerleader. She and her friends flirt with me all the time, but now hopefully they'll leave me alone." Fortunately the chess club was more than understanding of me. I didn't know whether it was because of my skill or because I have lots of really good friends, but I was glad either way. I knew it was the second shortly after when they donated parts of their lunch to make a makeshift lunch for me, which was extremely polite.

"Thank Alduin," coach Sundin said, "it was his idea."

"Don't mention it," Alduin said to me, "just enjoy. I don't want our star player starving for lunch, you need your brain food." I thanked everyone and scarfed down the food quickly then got through the rest of the day pretty quickly. The Lucian brothers were quick to guard me in the halls so none of the bullies could get to me. Fortunately not many of the upper class seemed to care, although a few thought it funny to poke a little fun at me anyway. I felt like I had bodyguards and friends at the same time, as well as lots and lots of enemies. This bittersweet day finally came to an end after we finished confirming our instruments for the band teacher Mr. Candland.

"So Ryan," Morrell said to me, "when can I meet your mom?"

"We can walk back to my place tonight and we can tell her then," I said. I knew it would be difficult to get my mom to accept the fact that I'm gay. Hopefully things will go more smoothly than it did here.

"We want to come as well," Canad said and his brothers agreed.

"We all want to be there to support you in case your mom doesn't take it so well," Alduin said.

"Yeah what he said," Jake said.

"Agreed," Adair said.

"Us too," Sun, Hinori, and Runo said in unison.

"Don't forget me," Nokemy said.

"And of course me," Jason said.

"Then let's go," Morrell said and we all walked to my house. Once we got there after a short fifteen-minute walk I opened up the door letting them inside. It was small and with every one of my friends here it could be considered quite the quaint party. We played video games and watched a movie for about a good couple hours until the garage door opened signaling that my mom was home.

"I'm home," she said and stopped seeing everyone who was here, "where's the party?"

"Hi mom," I said as I turned off the TV, "can I talk to you for a second?"

"Sure," she said and took a seat in her favorite recliner. Morrell came up to my side and smiled with a small wave.

"This is Morrell," I said and hesitated a little bit but with a little coaxing from everyone else I continued, "my new boyfriend." My mom did the most surprising thing, she smiled.

"Well hell boy," she said, "about time you found someone." Even my friends were surprised at the reaction.

"You serious?" I asked, my own mom didn't really care that I was gay, sweet deal. Either that or she was just saying that while everyone was here.

"Ryan," she began, "I knew you were gay since I noticed your first signs of puberty. I'm just glad you found someone, and by the looks of him he's quite the catch."

"Thanks for supporting our relationship," Morrell said scratching the back of his head.

"Anytime," she said, "now who's staying for dinner?" We all agreed which meant my mom time in the kitchen, however Alduin was polite enough to chip in to help. When dinner was done and everyone left, Morrell and I scheduled a time for when we can talk to Morrell's parents about us.

"They'll be back tomorrow night," he said, "so I imagine the best time would be Friday night after the first JV football game." I agreed and gave him a kiss goodbye as he headed home. I walked up to my room and searched through my bookshelf so I can pull out my Diary. I spent a whole six pages telling about the past two days, possibly the best in my entire life thus far. I slept very well that night as well. Although the next day at school involved pretty much the same thing, including bullies and a constant set of friends in each class giving me a hand through the halls. However after that I was asked out by Morrell on my first appropriate date. It was perfect for a first date, nothing like going to see a scary movie eh? I got permission from my mom much easier than I thought, and some of our friends were double dating with us just for the hell of it, and to make sure we weren't disturbed on our date. To make it look like double dating each people came in couples, which I personally thought made good matches.

"I think I see Ryan," I said and I was definitely right. Ryan Godsey showed up with Hinori Terrace as his "date". He was quickly followed with Runo and Nokemy, Sun and Adair, and even Jake and Jason. The movie itself was none other than another Saw movie. I wasn't that surprised but we chose it because it was the only scary movie currently in the theatres, and Friday the 13th doesn't come out until several months. We all got tickets and popcorn before picking our seats high up in the movie theatre. There was much flirting among all of us, and I mean MUCH flirting. Morrell and I got in the game by flirting with each other especially as well as flirting with the others occasionally for giggles. The movie itself was bloody and gory and full of death as we expected. But I don't think any of us got really scared, except Jason and Adair, but they were the only two. When the movie ended Morrell took a chance in the darkness to make out with me, which I was more than happy to oblige. It was a very successful first date, even if we did double with almost all of our friends.

"That was fun," Ryan said, "I hope our couple of honor had the time of their lives as well." We both chuckled at each other.

"It was fun," we both stated in almost unison. I could have sworn at the corner of my eye that I saw Gloria exiting the movie as well. We all stepped outside and talked for a little before separating so we could get home in time for the curfew.

"I'm so glad I have you Ryan," Morrell said, "this day was amazing."

"Yeah," I agreed, "It's sad to see it end."

"So we'll give it a happy ending," Morrell said holding my hand. I couldn't help but nod and look in the eyes again, closing my own as we engaged in a powerful loving kiss under the moonlight.
