As Caroline's ring leads them to Robert or to Accersitus, Canis is busy training preparing for the fight between him and the group.

"Canis!"

"Yes master?"

"I see that you have been training very hard. You have destroyed everything that you challenge but you need to know more powerful spells. I believe that you are quite ready to learn at least one ancient spell. It is a spell from an age long past when magic was stronger. They are written in this tome. When you have chosen, come tell me and I shall create a spell that will teach you whatever you choose instantly. I will only make you one so choose carefully."

"Yes master. Thank you master."

Canis searches through the tome and finds a spell that seems to be calling to him. "levitas extraho" was the spell that he chose. He took to his master and she created the spell and cast it on him.

"Now I will teach you some strong spells for you to use in your fight. You should be able to learn quite a few before they arrive here."

"Thank you master."

"We are getting close! I can feel it!"

"Good. But what are we going after? Do you know if Robert is ... um ... never mind."

"Hey! Look at that! It's a castle!"

"That must be where Canis said Accersitus kept him!"

"Canis strong but Accersitus stronger."

"Your right. For Canis to serve Accersitus, she has to be truly powerful."

"I don't care if she is a god! She will pay for what she did to Robert!"

"I can only see one good spot to land and it is pretty close to the castle."

"Well land already!!"

They land the Epoch and head towards the castle. Upon arriving at the main gate, they find it is open waiting for them. Despite it being an obvious trap, they walk on in.

"It is about time you arrived at my castle. I doubt you will be able to get to me though. Have fun!" Accersitus's voice said to them as they entered the castle.

"She probably has guards at every turn waiting for us."

"So? Are we going to let a few guards stop us?"

"Nope. It does not matter what they have guarding this place. We will get to her."

With that, they begin the long journey through the huge castle. There are many beasts and beings of varied powers guarding the entire keep. Eventually after many battles, they finally find a large door covered in gold. Upon entering it, they are forced to jump apart as a lightning bolt flies at them. The door is blasted off its hinges from the blast.

"I have been waiting for this. I will have my revenge!" "Levis!" Canis yelled as a beam of lightning was fired from his hands. They all dodge again but know they need to attack. Caroline's ring tells her that what she seeks is in this room.

"Canis! Where is Accersitus?"

"My master is in the room behind me. You will never get in!"

' Wait! I wanted to find Robert the most so it would have led me to a grave! Canis? No that is impossible. He can't be!'

"Canis where is Robert?!?

"I asked my master that and she has no idea who you are talking about! "LEVITAS!!!" Schhhhh kchchchcchch!!! ‘That was too easy to block. If he is so powerful, why was that just as easy to block as Robert's?' ‘Hey ring! What I really wanted was to find Robert right?' "Yes" ‘That is Robert!'

"Guys, Canis is Robert!!"

"What? Are you sure? "AHHHHHH!!!!" Chrono yelled as he was thrown into the wall by Canis.

"Canis, I challenge you to a sword fight!" Frog yelled drawing his sword.

"Ok. I will enjoy slicing you into pieces." Canis replied as he drew his sword.

The two charge at each other and a vicious fight begins. (Think about star wars and you will see what I am trying to mimic) Clang! Clang! Clang! Their swords rang as they struck each other. They began to circle around each other and kept on swinging away. Ayla was about to strike Canis when Frog yelled "This is our fight!" Slice! "Ahhhhh! YOU DAMN FROG!!! DIE!!!!" Canis yelled as he began to put even more force behind his swings. Clang! Sparks were beginning to fly with how hard the blades hit each other. Neither of the two opponents showed any signs of tiring. "YAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" Canis yelled as he started pounding Frog's sword until frog was knocked off his feet trying to block the blows. The next blow knocked the sword out of Frog's hands and a kick from Canis knocked him out. Before he could deal the finishing blows, Frog's sword blocked his swing. Looking around, Canis saw it was being held by Caroline with Ayla behind her.

"Two versus one? I don't think that is fair!" Canis said as he ran past Caroline and slammed Ayla into a wall knocking her out completely. Then turning on the only conscious person in the room, he charged at Caroline and knocked the sword from her hands. Then he slammed her into the wall nearly knocking her out. He then grabbed her throat and lifted her from the ground.

"You will pay for what you did to me Bitch!"

"What did Accersitus do to you?" Caroline asked in a quiet voice.

"What do you mean? She is my master. She always has been!"

"No she hasn't Robert"

"Wha... what are you... I am not ... I am Can... Car... Caroline? NOOO!!! WHAT HAVE I BECOME?" He said as he let go of Caroline and collapsed from all the memories that were sealed away came flooding back.

"Caroline... I am not Canis? I am Robert? How... what happened???" Robert cried as he was still trying to deal with his newly remembered memories. Then Ayla woke up and slammed herself into the fox and knocked him out completely.

"You beat him Caroline!"

"No! That is Robert!! Go heal Chrono and Frog while I try to heal Robert."

"Robert?"

"GO!"

"Ok!"

As Chrono and Frog were being healed; Caroline was healing the wounds on Robert. They all

gathered around Caroline and Robert and watched silently each vowing to kill Accersitus.

"UGH!! What hit me?" Robert said as he slowly came to; his mind no longer having to deal with memories flooding it. While unconscious, his mind had worked out everything. Looking up, he saw the concerned faces of his friends. He looked down ashamed to look at them after all he had done to them. Caroline grabbed his chin and pushed it up so he saw her eyes. He knew at once he was forgiven and also knew that they were going after Accersitus.

"She probably still thinks I am under her control." Robert said as he got up. "I think I should be the one who goes in there and fights her."

"No. We are going in together. She will pay for the harm she has caused!"

"Ok but first, I think we should go to the springs where she would heal me when I was damaged. They are not that deep so I will be fine. Come on, quickly!"

They all head to the springs and they get in. They instantly feel refreshed and ready for their next fight. They walk back into the room where they fought Robert and then they headed for the door to the throne room. Upon entering, they find Accersitus waiting for them.

"Excellent Canis! You were able to trick them. Now come by my side and we will destroy them!"

"Yes master." Robert replied although the charm spell was broken when he regained his memories.

"Robert?"

"I am not Robert!"

He walked right next to Accersitus and then began to cast a spell. Before he launched it at the group though, he turned and it hit an unsuspecting Accersitus.

"What? Canis what are you doing?"

"STOP CALLING ME THAT!!! MY NAME IS ROBERT!! Let's get her! Now!"

The final fight begins with that last word.

Chrono, Frog, and Robert charge in with their swords drawn while Ayla catches up to them. Before they can touch her though, she lets loose a barrage of missiles that hit all of them except Ayla who jumped up at the last second. She kicked Accersitus in the face but was then blasted backwards. Caroline, not wanting to be useless cast "umbra orbis" and launched a dark magic ball at Accersitus. It struck her but did not do much damage.

"So Robert has remembered who he is? Then I think it is time that you witnessed my true power. "Abeo!!" Accersitus yelled and she began to morph into something very large. Her body grew much larger than before and her neck grew longer as well. Her tail lengthened and thickened and the fur was replaced by scales. Her snout grew larger and her teeth grew sharper. Her tongue became forked and her hands and feet were replaced by large claws. On her back, two great wings appeared and horns began to line her body. Her scales went from being golden to being pure black. Her eyes became lizard like and in a final show of power, she roared and her breath was acid green.

"SHE'S A DRAGON?!?" Caroline yelled. Dragons are impervious to most magic and their scales can be harder than steel. "How are we going to beat a dragon? A black one no less!"

"Robert! Come here. You can use electric magic right?

"Yeah. Why?"

"Grab my hand and concentrate on Accersitus!"

"Ok!" Robert yelled as he grabbed Chrono's hand and began to concentrate on Accersitus. Chrono yelled "LUMINAIRE!!" With Roberts power added to his own, the resulting attack can only be described as a mega luminaire. It was so powerful that it destroyed all of Accersitus's shields against magic and physical attacks and also hit her sending her backwards into the wall. Frog used this as an opportunity to slash the beast with his sword and he actually was able to hit her vulnerable underbelly. She let loose a roar of pain and then she cast "somnium minor". This created an orb of dark magic that flew right at the group. They tried to dodge but it hit them all. It hurt and nearly killed Frog. Caroline took the time to heal herself and then went to help Frog. Ayla grabbed Robert and tossed him at the dragon but before he even hit her, she grabbed him with her claw and threw him at Ayla. She caught him and put him down. Accersitus took this time to launch a few barrages of magic at them. Ayla and Caroline were knocked out by the attacks but Robert and Chrono and the newly healed frog avoided them. Robert turned to heal Ayla and caroline while Frog and Chrono put their hands together and began to cast a spell together. "Levitas Redundo!!!" they cried out together sending a massive wave of electrical water at the dragon. It hit her and slammed her past the wall. Taking flight before she hit the ground, she hovered at the hole they had created in the wall with her body. Grabbing Chrono, she tried to fling him into the ground but he had stabbed his sword into her claw. Instead, she threw him at Frog who managed to leap out of the way. Frog jumped up with his sword drawn and landed on her wing. With his sword in hand, he began slicing her wing into pieces. When she finally got him off of her, she found she would not be able to stay in the air so she landed back in the castle. She grabbed frog and began to crush the life out of him. Before she could, she was hit by a lightning bolt surrounded by dark magic. It hit her underbelly causing her even more pain and forcing her to drop Frog. Ayla came running up and jumped on her back attacking the other wing. When Ayla had completely destroyed the wing, she jumped down only to be slammed into the ground by a claw. Accersitus was going insane due to the pain and was not using any strategy to fight. She was just launching her most powerful attacks at the group. "terra contremisco!" was launched first and it caused the entirety of the roof to collapse on all of them. Caroline managed to help them dodge it by putting up a shield that blocked all of the debris that fell. "lux lucis" Accersitus roared causing a beam of light to be launched at the group. It hit Ayla and went right through her. Robert and Chrono and Frog all drew their blades and jumped on top of Accersitus and began to slice wildly. Accersitus had never felt so much pain and it was unbearable. She shook them off of her and started to slice with her claws. She got Chrono and Frog with her claws and then she used her tail to grab Caroline. Fling Caroline into the floor; she turned to go after Robert. A normal person would rather jump to their death than fight an angry dragon but Robert was not normal. He had endured hell at her hands and he was full of rage. He was angry at the pain she had caused him; he was angry at the pain she had caused his friends; he was angry that she hurt Caroline. She was going to pay. Without a second thought of his own wellbeing, he stood in front of the charging dragon and began to cast a spell. "LEVITAS EXTRAHO!!!" Robert yelled a second before she hit him. A giant claw of pure lightning grabbed Accersitus and it lifted her up to a giant head. The spell used summoned the lightning dragon god Reshep. Accersitus never stood a chance. The god looked into her soul and saw that it was pure evil. Without a second thought, it unleashed all of its power into her body. Accersitus was not killed. She was not destroyed. She just ceased to be. The god then left this world and Robert was near death from the amount of power it required to summon the god.

Epilogue: one year later

On may 12 2045: After searching for any trace of Robert the greatest inventor of the year 2044, he was officially declared dead and his ex wife was freed due to a lack of evidence.

May 12 601 AD: Caroline and Robert have just been married and are living a peaceful life. They often take their kids to visit Chrono and everyone. The only reason they did not screw with time is that because they had traveled through time, they ceased to exist in the normal flow of time. Robert, Chrono, and Frog often find themselves sparring with their swords so that way if ever they are needed again, they will be ready. Ayla has been giving Caroline lessons in fighting with her hands and they are all training their children just in case.

"Who would have guessed that I would have married the person hired to kill me?"

"I don't think anyone would have guessed that dear."

"Yeah when you told me you did not love him, I sort of knew you did Caroline."

"Oh really Chrono?"

"I even knew it!"

"You did Frog?"

"Ayla know too!!"

"You all knew? Was I really that obvious?"

"YES!" Came a unanimous answer.

"Thanks guys." Caroline said sarcastically.

"Hey at least we are all together and we are all friends! And besides I actually like this fox body. It lets me able to keep up with you people!"

"Yeah I am glad that everything is ok."
