Culture(s): Malonian Culture has long thrived since the Prophetic one arrived three millennia ago when they used to roam the plains of Malos, speaking of an Empire on a faraway world that paved roads and conquer vast tracks of land across a continents, building vast monuments to their Gods and Goddesses. It all began when a StarStray member who had visited earth during the height of the Roman Empire had convinced a tribe to form a nation under one banner, a nation that would soon envelope the planet in Wars and Campaings. When the Malos Imperium had been formed, it was a few centuries before they had taken over a quarter of their home world, constantly assimilating fallen tribes and kingdoms into their ranks, forming one of the strongest militaries to be found amongst a supposedly primitive race.

From Birth, young malonian men and women are trained for war, though only males are allowed to enter the military but all Imperium citizens are expected to uphold the creed "postremo nobis non exieris!" or "The Last of us alive shall not surrender!" meaning that its preferable to face extinction to surrender. This Mentality is highly prevalent throughout their society, a persistence that makes it impossible for them to quit whatever task or goal they have mind, whether it be developing new technology or preparing for war. It is also why their Imperium has lasted for as long as it has, repelling several alien invasions over the past few centuries.

Malo's Government is generally considered a democratic republic with varying divisions between the Parlamentum, the Senatus, and the Curia. The Parlamentum is where all of the Imperium makes its critical decisions including ones involved with budgeting and Taxation as well as where spending should be allocated to improve the Empire itself. The Senatus is found within province that deals with regional affairs such as road-making along with interstate commerce, governing the various Curias within the Senatus. The district governments deal with City and Agricultural planning with every Curia having an elected official from the general populous.

Men on Malos are not allowed to own estate or any land until their 60th birthday, or become disabled in some shape or form, and this is primarily for the reason that physical wealth is passed onto the eldest daughter of a household because of the tradition that all males are required serve in the Imperium's Legions until their time comes to retire. Malonian Women generally own much of the empire's landholdings and businesses across the world with the exception of the Merchant caravans and Independent couriers that primarily dominated entrepreneurial men who are ineligible to a part of the military due to certain reasons. Children, mainly daughters of household, inherit 1/10th of their parents estate once they reach maturity, this was law was enacted 150 years ago to prevent the courts from being tied up with petty lawsuits and land disputes between family members.

Malonians have very lax morals as well, primarily because the Imperium allows prostitution since after the first Iotanid invasion. The empire nearly went bankrupt from the rush production of arms and armor so the Empress at the time whored herself out to help fill up the treasury though having dozens of children in the process. Gambling is also legal due to legionaries having traditionally wagered their pays in order to make quick fortune, but are forced to file taxes every monthly quarter to prevent the inequivalent exchange of monetary wealth .

Factions: Aside from the Imperium and its Legions, they are some notable groups that help keep the Malonian Nation up and running.

The Dunaria Banking Clan , this family of bankers has been around for several hundred years post circa the first Iotanid invasion, they are responsible for the Imperium's wealth and economy, holding the largest stores of precious metals in this belt of the Galaxy aside from the Rosy Joker's secret treasure vaults. They are also responsible for funding the planet's technological development, fueling the monetary needs of various research guilds, via loans offered to the scientists hard at work who are paid through grants from the empress herself. The Dunaria clan is also bound to oath to provide protect the Imperium's Wealth, both the state's and its citizens', or else they shall face the consequences of being stripped of their rights as citizens.

Non-Citizens , a name given for anyone who has committed a crime against the Imperium and its people, which is a rare act in itself since most crimes are treated with the same punishment of having the offender's rights taken away from them, essentially becoming a slave to the public and whoever wishes to make a part of their estate. Non-Citizens that you find normally range from your average pickpocket to your local hooligan, but if they perform a service to the state, they may regain their citizenship; On the other hand, Non-citizens who are responsible for murder are branded with a hot iron their foreheads, often killing them in the process from the extreme heat.

Technology : Malonian technology is somewhat backwards and mixed due to the first Iotanid Invasion that occurred five hundred years ago as well as the arrival of the Starship "The Rosy Joker" that brought forth the means of interstellar travel. When the Aranarran Cruisers landed on their world, the landing parties were immediately slain in a mad rush from all angles using Imperium Divide-and-Conquer tactics, leaving behind the technological marvels that still stand silent today in ruin. The Malonians were quick to reverse engineer the starships and the various pieces of equipment aboard it, including all technology looted from other worlds.

The Malonians soon advanced quite rapidly using the salvaged wonders to strengthen the Imperium, developing an arcadia of medical technology that aided in their population boom 400 years ago. Through the usage of Substance called Nano-Gel, a substance made from various silicates capable of being programmed to fit its users' needs, they developed suits that were capable of monitoring and aiding their wearers in any given medical situation along being able to be used for bandages.

Allies : The Malonians are known to quickly make friends and alliances through their tactful diplomatic prowess.

The Ga'Roa Corporation , Surprisingly, when the company first set off an expedition to the Malonian homeworld in order to fulfill a request by a wealthy Apacian Aristocrat, they came to discover that the Malonians weren't as primitive as originally thought, having learned from their prior mistakes then decided to establish a trade agreement with Mighty Malonians. Commonly traded items are agricultural goods in exchange for precious metals, accompanied by Fiber optic technology produced on Malos.

The Rosy Joker , once Ga'Roa Corporation fell under new management, Malos began feeling the tight pressure of another impending invasion from the Iotanid Empire, having lost their major supplier of seeds for their annual harvests. The Parliament faced a desperate decision with the Aranarrans knocking on their doorstep; they began diverting food supplies to feed their troops to prepare for the incursion. When the Iotanid forces arrived, the planet was in turmoil with unrest and the Empress herself was in contempt of the Parlamentum's choice by running naked through the streets, riots broke out in cities across the globe, making the situation a siren's song for chaos. Above the planet's orbit, an Aranarran Specialized Attack Force was posed to strike until a Massive 14km long starship, known as the Rosy Joker, appeared. The Iotanid forces had gathered Intel on this vessel from scouts observing the Heraxion homeworld and how it conquered the planet without a scratch, the fleet commander had two choices, stay to continue their invasion or run... they chose the latter.

While the Aranarrans ran abdomen between their legs, Rociel had landed on the planet to alleviate the situation within. She soon challenged the Maximus Imperator using Malos's legal system to seize control of the Imperium's military to declare martial law, restoring order within a day or two. The Rosy Joker brought in surplus food from the fields of Hera's bountiful lands in order to quell the famine, as well as introducing new types of crops into the Malonian diet. Rociel was named the Imperatrix Legatus, roughly translated as the Empress's Deputy, for her commendable service to the Imperium.

Tol'Ris , this Varandion powerhouse is has vested interests in the Imperium, namely the fact that Malos cannot sustain its massive resource requirements without tapping into the solar system itself, noting how fast the Malonians have historically expanded and acquired resources. The City-State's bank itself tied in with the Dunarian Banking clan, having borrowed a significant amount of funds to further pursue interplanetary relationships outside the sphere of influence that the Ga'Roa Corporation once held. It is rumored that Lady Magnusia herself has discreetly approved these transactions without the Parlamentum's permission...

Recidians , once the Recidians were liberated then started venturing outside of their solar system in their own starships; the Malonians encountered Several Astro-prospectors Groups that were seeking to establish a Star Base in the region. Empress Magnusia brokered a contract between each of these groups in exchange that they yield them an annual quota of 100,000 tons of Iron ore a year for their lease on their occupation of their territory. Aside from their economic relationship with them, Lady Magnus exchanges Letters and documents with Charis Enrichal, Reci III's High Luminary, secretly funding her research to improve Malos's Agricultural technology.

The Aranarrans , the de facto elite of the Iotanid Empire, the Malonians have a long-standing vendetta against them for being a constant nuisance throughout their history. When the opportunity arose to fulfill their revenge, the Parlamentum approved a declaration of War that was proposed by the Imperatrix Legate, namely the Rosy Joker herself despite ulterior motives. Utilizing Stolen Zephyrian warships designated as an Emissary fleet bound for diplomatic negotiations to the Anarro then invaded the Iotanid Empire's seat of power while blowing up their third moon in the process.

Physical Description : Malonians are the biggest, toughest creature native to their homeworld, and built for War, with their fossil record showing how far they have come to being the dominant sapience of their planet. The first step in their evolution was triggered by a series of climate shifts and mini-ice ages, forcing the once nomadic herds of their primal ancestor to congregate toward the planet's more temperate regions, triggering a change in their diet from the Wheat they would graze on, to the native Rices, Barleys and Oats. This lead to the next stage where their brains began became more complex over the generations until another climate shift shoved them around to a new set of challenges. Throughout the epoch, they once again began to adapt to the local flora, developing digitgrade hands and a feet, primarily for the loose soil in the new environment as well as digging up root vegetables.

Your Modern Malonians are stout, sturdily built race that is strong enough to push around boulders, even females are capable of such feats of strength. They possess three primary digits with an auxillary digit to help manipulate objects in their hands with the exception of some recent births possessing a peculiar fourth digit. A Malonian's foot is rather flat on the bottom of it, bearing four digits to help stabilize their physical superstructures. Their bones are built somewhat thickly to help support their complex, heavy duty muscle structure. Malonians are also known for their Bovine-like faces and horns that protrude from their skulls through their hair...

Fur : Malonians are known for their short fur that tends to rather appealing to look at, Males tend to usual posses one solid color of fur while females are more likely to have interesting patterns.

Sexual Dimorphism : There are vast differences between male and female amongst the Malonian race, namely the fact the two genders have a severe height gap between them. Males of this race are highly distinctive by their towering heights that can dwarf most other races found in the Perseus belt, as well as the fact they are strengthened and toned by the immense amounts of testosterone that is produced when they hit puberty.
