There's a continent called Ken-Dal, and a great war raged on for many years till one person from each Race came together to stop the war from continuing killing thousands of people. Then the Races went to each side of the continent and built walls around their lands, and in-between both The tribes of the beast's walls, and cities of the humans walls were an empty forest with mountains, and rivers. However, this story takes place about a boy, and a girl who fell in-love, but takes a drastic turn for the worse.....or does it?
The Moment
Today is the day where the Lycans take the new hunters out to hunt for their tribe.They got outside the walls for the first time in 16 years today. William was late again not like every other Lycan he was a loner. The other Lycans give a hard time he secretly builds necklaces for his collection, but no-one knows him cause the other Lycans call him a freak cause of his gold markings on his body. People say a demon cursed him. William darts out he door skipping breakfast as he runs to catch up with the other Lycans going on the hunt. The elder says, "Well now that we're all here all I wanted to say was good luck on getting your first kill, and don't go pass the great river that separate us from the humans". When the elder was done talking they walked out the gate to the forest an then everyone split up an went in two-person groups. Everyone had a partner except William who went alone on his first hunt an came to the Great River he saw a deer an tried to get it he then fell scaring the deer away. As he sat there looking at the river, he saw a human girl on the other side washing clothes. He hid behind the rock was hunting the deer from, he accidentally snapped a twig; she looks up across the river. He wondered if she saw him, and stays hidden from her view; an watches her from behind a rock. He stayed there till she leaves. Then sees that she dropped a necklace in the river an dives in for it an sets in on a branch. Then goes back across the river before she gets back to where she was an finds it sitting on a branch. As she looks around but doesn't see anyone. She starts to head back to her city.As he can no longer see her in the distance, he heads back to his tribe, as he got to the gate and a guard coming to tell William the elder wanting to see him. He goes an sees the elder. The elder said, "I thought I told you to stay away from the river?" an William said "I am sorry Elder I got lost, and I could not find my way back." "It is ok William just don't go near the river again ok?". He told William to go back to his Lok-Don, an William sees his guardian's ashamed of him for disobeying the Elder and sends him to his room that he shares with his guardian's son who hates him, and gets him in trouble every-time William does not do anything wrong. Today is the next day in our quiet village life nothing ever happened till just yesterday when I fell in love with a Human from the other side of the River,and i'm glad i got to see her that day cause just two more weeks till the old peace treaty is finally made official an will hopefully accepted by both the human,and beast Race to start a school together,and stop the war for good. Hopefully, she'll be there, but today is Chore Day in our Village that I do not think is a village with over 2,000 people living in one place it is more of what humans have called a city than a village so hopefully my day turns out okay.
"Hey, William you are late for chore day come on!" "Oh, ok sorry I am coming go on ahead I'll be there shortly." Moreover, I was wrong from the beginning of today but like usual....it is not going to end well for me i just know it. "So today is an incredible day for Humans and Beasts to get along, and start working together. However, the way we must do this is by being around one another more." As the elder told everyone at the chore day meeting about the humans and beasts together. However, people started to talk about not wanting to be around the humans. However, dumb as I was, I raised my hand and choose to help build a school with a handful of humans. Then I thought to myself hoping my day would go well till one of the human leaders came to speak with our Elder, and to my surprise that girl I saw washing clothes was the human leader's daughter. Soon as she got out of their wagon she saw me talking to the Elder about the school, and her father came to talk to the Elder. "Hello, Elder Ravas i thank you for letting me come to you today about the school plans for our children from both your village and our city." The elder looked at him an laughed a little as, the elder asked whom he brought with him. He introduced his Daughter to the elder. "Aah, yes this is my daughter Erma. Say hello Erma." She bowed lightly and said "Hello sir." As she looked at me, her father asked who I was, but I was in a daydream. The elder said, "This is William he is our best worker and craftsman." When I saw her, my heart stopped, and then continued her hair was like roses; her eyes were like diamonds, and I felt stupid. However, as soon as she went with her father to go talk with an elder, and she said "It is nice to meet you William." Then she walked away an looked back, and then I blushed Red. Shen she giggled a little, and as I waved bye as she followed her father. I went to my job at the school building site, and there where humans building; then they saw me coming over. I grabbed some gear to help build the walls, and they looked at me like they hated me for helping since I am the only beast race there at the site, and then about 8 hours later Erma came to see the school's progress, and she saw me laying down hurt. She came over to see if I was ok; she asked the other guys who did this to me, and no-one confessed to it cause they all said "He fell off a building, and hit a tree of the way down". That is how I got this way when it was not she knew it. So she called guards over to help me up,and they hesitated to help me up cause i guess everyone thought our race were savages,and held diseases,but then again we thought the same way against the humans. So I guess I could not argue with it as I was half unconscious when they took me to their hospital in their closest town.
The next day I woke up, and felt something holding my hand, but then I opened my eyes, and there she was fast asleep holding my hand. I laid there thinking to myself how beautiful she is, and how she was worried about me, but why was she worried about me, and then she woke up an saw me awake. She sighed in relief with a happy smile on her face, an asked if I was able to sit up I nodded yes an sat up as she said "I'm going to get the doctor ok." I nodded as she went out the door to get a doctor. But as I sat there I thought to myself why would a human be concerned about me as everyone in my tribe knows I'm not special or anything. But after I tried thinking about why she was worried she came back into the room with a doctor from the hospital; as well as a healer from my tribe, and both the elder of my tribe, and her father came in also. They said I should be dead, but I wasn't an then after that the doctors left; her father and the elder both suggested Erma should take care of me till I was better, But she seemed happy about it, so I didn't really want to say anything about it. Then after the day was over I was helped back to her father's house, and he said, "You will be staying with us for awhile so you will be staying in the room across from my daughter's room so she can help you recover." I nodded and said, "I'm very grateful for letting me stay with you sir." We all retreated to our rooms everyone turned out their lights, but as I sat there on the edge of my bed thinking. I heard my door open, and I saw Erma standing there; she asked if I needed anything I said, "No thank you...I think some rest will do me good, but thank you for the offer but I must decline it ma'am." As she left she kinda blushed as she looked at me when she looked back at me for a second then closed the door to my room as i went to sleep after turning out the lights hoping tomorrow brings better days.
