Ty woke up in the hosptial confused. His fur was back to normal, all the fur had grown back, and the scorch marks finally washed out. Ty was confused because he woke up to his mother, father, brother, Kevin, and Sam all in his hospital room all looking at him, smiling.

Linda looked at him and said, "Ty you've been through alot none of us blame you for forgetting your birthday!"
Sam then spoke up and said, "Well, now that he's awake, should we give him this?" He asked, pointing at a rectangular white box behind him.

'I bet it's a birthday cake.' Ty thought, and as soon as he thought that, a cake came out of the box.
Sam and Kevin carried it over to the tray that was over Ty's bed that Ty used to eat and then Sam said, "Ty I think you already knew what it was, but be surprised for us!" He laughed.
Ty looked at the cake and it was a medium sized multi-colored cake with 23 candles on it. Ty also chuckled when he noticed that with the exception of the white frosting, all the colors on the cake were rainbow.

Kevin came over and lit up the candles and they all began to sing happy birthday to Ty. When they were done, Ty grinned widely and blew out the candles.

James then said, "Hold on a second Jacob! I get it! You want the corner piece! But it's Ty's birthday and Ty and Kevin get the first pieces! God!" Now, I think that I should say that you are so lucky to heal so fast and it's great that your family, friend, and mate have been here this whole time to help you out." He said

The doctor smiled and said, "Yes, today we can get the casts off of Ty and then he can fo home, and I am so glad this news was on your birthday too, it makes me feel good telling you it."
Everyone cheered and hugged Ty and then wished him and Keivn luck and then left.

Ty looked over and hugged and kissed him. "Thank you for staying by my side this whole time, your the best person anyone could ever end up with, and I love you."
Kevin then started the car and said, "Aww... thank you so much, that's so sweet. Now, what do you say about going out to dinner and then *ahem* "celebrating" your birthday at home?"
Ty giggled and said, "That would be wonderful."

The drive home was beautiful too.
