Just a poem I wrote about horses.
Who can tame the horse? Who runs across earth and sand Who dares bridle its might? Who will raise their hand?
Fierce as raging sandstorm. Fast as the fiercest winds. Strong as a dozen men. It does not lend its strength to just anyone.
Try and break its spirit if you dare. Try and saddle the proud stallion or the screaming fearsome mare.
These are not pets to come running at your beck and call. They demand your respect or you will not have them at all.
They bow to no one not even those who would be their master. Accept them as your equal or accept them not at all.
They run like the wind and laugh at mortal man. They go into battle with more bravery then the mightiest of soldiers.
Wild souls who race along the winds currents. Whose strength and spirit remains unbroken. They would die for those they love, but only for those who see them as they are.
Try and break their spirit if you must, but you will find the precious diamonds you sought have now turned to useless dust.
