I woke up and immediately noticed something was wrong. For one I could see in the dark something I couldn't do before, I could also feel something on my back. I turned my head I saw wings, when I saw them I tensed and they moved,. I also saw something move farther down my back, so i cranked my head some more and saw a tail. At this point i began to look around frantically at my self scales, scales, and more scales. In my fracticness I fell off the bed with an audible thud! Then my heart stopped as I heard the click of my door opening, then a gasp I quickly looked up to see my mother her eyes wide then in those same eyes anger. I see her reach for her dagger and run at me. I jump and when I landed unused to being on 4 legs I lost my balance and fell. Then the sound of the door opening again it was my sister this time, she had heard the noise I was making, my mom stopped and tolled my sister to leave the room but she didn't she just stood there and looked at me. She looked me in the eyes and could tell it was me, she ran to the window and opened it. I immediately knew she was on my side so I ran toward the window my mother tried one last time to stop me by throwing her dagger at me, i dodged it and jumped through the window, I hit the ground hard and ran into the safety of the woods. I ran and ran till i not watching where i was going ran into something at full speed, after rubbing my snout i look up at what i ran into and saw it was another dragon i froze. The dragon in question was curious about me it lowered its head and said with a distinctly female voice "well hello there little one what are you doing so close to a human settlement?" I looked down and said "I'm not a dragon." The female looked at him with a confused face and said "well you look like a dragon to me. what do you mean your not a dragon?" I looked up at her and yelled at her "I'M NOT A DRAGON I'M A HUMAN!" The female was not expecting that answer and saw on my face that it was true, she then moved her head closer and said with a sad voice said "I can see it in your eyes you speak the truth. What do you plan on doing now little one?" I thought about what she just said what was i going to do now? i thought to myself "I don't know" I said. The female saw the sadness in my eyes and said "If you want to can come stay with me and learn to be a dragon." "You mean you would do that for me. I don't even know you why should i trust you." "That is true you don't know me but think about it i am being very generous compared to what other dragons would do to you for trespassing in there territory. I offer you a place to stay and to teach you how to be a dragon think about it, i will be in the area you have till i finish hunting for my dinner for a response" And with that she left, i thought about what she offered till she came back. When she did return i had my answer when she landed i went up to her and said "I have decided to accept your offer, I realize that if i refused i would probably die in no time." the female smiled and lowered herself and said "get on you can't fly can you." I shuck my head and got on. After making sure i would not fall off she jumped and i nearly fell off but once we were airborne i could hang on with ease. She flew towards the mountains and a moment later she landed on an outcropping, i slid off and looked around it had stuff i didn't expect to see. Human trinkets and a bunch of them. She noticed my attraction to them and asked if i reconised any of them i looked around and saw an old toy my sister gave to me. A stuffed dragon pillow i walked over to it and picked it up and started to cry. The female walked over to me and said "you reconise that" "Yes i do my sister gave it to my for my birthday 2 years ago, i lost it a few month ago." "It's dark we should get some rest come you can sleep with me." I grabbed the pillow in my mouth careful not to rip it, then fallowed her to her sleeping chambers. I curled up and rested my head on the pillow while the female curled around me. Before putting my head down to rest i asked "whats your name?" "my name is crystal what about you?" "I'm deven." "well deven good night i'll start teaching you how to be a dragon tomorrow."
