As I arrived at work Monday morning Rebecca and Jade greeted me with smiles. "Thanks again, Devin for the fun filled we passed out the second we got home." Rebecca smiled. "Same here I can't remember the last time my kids passed out so quickly." Jade agreed. "I'm glad all of you enjoyed yourselves, I guess it's not so bad having me for a boss." I replied. "Well, don't let it go to your head pal." Jade stated.

"Who do you ladies take me for, William I think not." I mocked striking a pose. After a good laugh we got right to work, since there wasn't much left to finish. "Devin, things are just about done on our end here, what about you?" Rebecca asked. I told them that there were still a few things left to be done so I needed a bit more time. When I finished speaking I heard the door open and close, followed by approaching footsteps.

"Excuse, me I'm looking for a, Mr. Sentry." A woman asked standing by the machine. "Well, ma'am, you found him, how can I help you." I said, crawling out from underneath it. "Oh! Hello, my name is, Sierra Pearl I'm your new employee, sir." She said offering her hand. "Please, don't call me sir just, Devin will be fine." I replied shaking it. "Of course, umm, what are you working on want an extra pair of hands?" She offered.

"I'm good thanks, why don't you go introduce yourself to your coworkers. This way they don't think you're being rude or trying to kiss up to the boss." I pointed out. Sadly where I was currently working she only would've been in the way. I just didn't want to hurt her feelings by asking her to simply walk away. Once I finished the last of the adjustments I crawled out from underneath the bio tank.

I gave the machine one final check over before getting ready to give it a test run. "Fire in the hole." I announced. As I walked over to the console punched in the access code the machine started up. The tank began to fill up with bio fluid and reached the desired amount a minute later. When the green light finally came on I started the filtration cycles. Now it was time for me to place the sample limb into the tank.

Once my hand was clear the scanners came online then began analyzing the limb. An image of the limb appeared on the display screen a moment later. It was a few tense moments and luckily no alarms sounded off to everyone's great relief. The next part of the operation was ordering the machine to repair the limb in the tank. When I activated the program the timer came on the screen in front of me.

It was great sign that the machine was working, next I introduced the robotic cells. They immediately started to fix the limb Jade, couldn't help but, jump for joy. "I wouldn't celebrate to soon there's still enough time for something to go wrong." I pointed out. Jade knew I didn't mean to spoil her moment but, I was correct. The one thing nobody expected was for those little robots to work so quickly.

The screen said the limb was completely repaired when I checked its progress. "Okay, that was unpredicted." I said before pulling the limb out of the tank. "What happened don't tell us that something went wrong with the machine?" Everyone replied. "Why don't you come over here and just see for yourselves." I stated placing the limb on a nearby table. Once they joined me at the bio tank and looked at the limb on the table.

If their jaws could hit the floor they would've after inspecting the limb thoroughly. "It looks like all our hard work has finally paid off." Rebecca said with a big grin. "Sorry, we still can't celebrate granted it worked, but, there's a lot unanswered here." I replied. "Oh, I agree with you on that notion Devin so what do you suggest then?" She wondered. "Let's take a sample of fluid I'm curious to see what the Undanium did." I said.

"Right, nobody touch anything until I get back with a beaker." Jade stated walking away. She opened the supply closet then returned and handed me the beaker. I dunked the beaker into the tank, once full I brought it to the 3D scanner close by. After placing it directly on the scanner plate then Rebecca started the device. It took about five minutes to finish and displayed it on the hologram projector.

We moved closer to the projection only to discover something neither of us expected. "Okay, is everyone seeing the same thing or am I losing my mind here?" I asked. "No, Devin you're not apparently the Undanium has bonded to the robocells." Jade replied. Rebecca informed us that the robocells were no longer mechanical but, a cyber-organic. Sierra asked me if the Undanium had a semi-organic composition in its design.

I told her wasn't sure but, given the data it'd allow the robocells to alter themselves. The next I suggested we do was take a few samples of robocells then dissect a few. Once that was settled we each took a reasonable amount for ourselves and got to work. Trying to figure out what took place the second they were introduced. Sadly the more everyone looked into it the more each of us were stumped.

"I think this little mystery may go unsolved unless you girls found anything." I stated. "Devin, I've got theory but, I don't how solid it might be though." Sierra replied. "Sierra, I'll take any info I can get at this point in the game." I smiled. "Well, here's what I think when the robocells came into contact with the bio fluid and the Undanium. Since they're already based on actual cells they somehow evolved to their environment." She began.

"Allowing them to take on a more organic quality, leaving us rather confused. This might also explain how fast the limb was repaired, shortly after being put inside. Before doing anything else let's re-injure the limb and give it an in-depth scan." She informed. I told Sierra to take charge seeing as she was on a roll with this. She took the limb from the holo scanner table then placed it on an empty table.

Rebecca brought over the UV screener which'll probe the limb one layer at a time. Until something's found during the scans, then displays a 3-D replica on a computer screen. While the machine did its job we watched the monitor as each layer appeared on the screen. We couldn't find anything out of the ordinary at first glance. "It looks like the cells went in repaired the limb then withdrew." I replied standing straight up.

"Yeah, that seems to be the case, hold on? Take a look at the bone is it me or is it coated with Undanium." Jade said pulling up the skeletal scans on the screen. "Well, I'll be damned that was certainly unexpected but, it might be a lit coating. Of course even the lightest coating will be enough to make the bone unbreakable." I stated. "That can't be possible you're telling us that bone is indestructible." Sierra replied in shock.

"The metal can't handle a certain type of radiation once exposed it returns to its normal state." I stated. "What kind of radiation are you talking about, Devin?" Rebecca asked. "X-rays, UV, and Gamma have no effect on it but, nuclear radiation will work. It must be enough to harm the person whose bones are coated with it. Depending on the thickness will ultimately decide on the amount of radiation needed." I replied.

"Perhaps, programming the cells not to coat the entire bone with the metal." Jade said. "You're thinking only where the break is in the bone instead. Kept in mind bio fluid is designed for open wounds along with internal wounds. If the surgeon needs to cut open the person he or she can inject the fluid directly in or on the patient. After that the fluid does the rest, it's pretty much hands free medical technology." I informed.

"Wow, that's amazing how long have you been developing all this stuff?" Sierra asked. "Hmm, I'll give you a rough estimate about five years or so." I replied. Her next question was something I predicted she'd ask me about special projects. "Believe it or not I encourage such things here so you're more than welcome too." I said. Seeing as the last place she worked weren't very fond of employees doing their own thing.

"Surely, you noticed that most of the tech here wasn't all designed by me. Rebecca and Jade combined their own projects with mine, there's the end result." I said pointing at the bio tank. Sierra was amazed when, Rebecca and Jade nodded in agreement to my previous statement. With that we took a nice long lunch break to allow our minds to recharge. After lunch we spent the rest of the day just deciphering the bio fluid.

To be continued.

Section 4

Another year has come and gone while things have change a great deal for me here. Rebecca and Jade quit around Halloween and thanksgiving for personal reasons. I was sad to see them go but, I respected their choices to move onto greener pastures....

Around five the next morning I woke up, crawled out of bed and took a shower. Then I got dressed, a lite breakfast then drove myself to work and parked close by. From there I slowly made my way inside the building and finally to my work station. While...
