Chapter 4: The truth about Adam
"We know who he is, don't you see that?"
"I know! I can see it just; listen what I have to say!"
"I know you want another son like me, but he can't exist in our world for long."
"See? That's where you're wrong."
"How am I wrong?" Adam heard shouting from a room in a water made house. Why was it so dry if it's made out of water? Adam decided to leave his suspicions for later and peeked outside the door where he was laid. He saw two animals that were having a fight about something. One of the animals looked familiar. Adam saw this one in the world he was in before he fell in the portal. The other one was taller and had more features of a fox had some features of a fish. The taller one shaped fins on the backside of his hand. It has sharper two sharper teeth and had a yellow floater (like the smaller one) but it was almost the same size as it. Adam wasn't sure what they were fighting about. Adam? He wasn't sure. The fight went on for a while, they nodded. The taller one said:
"I'll check to see if the human is awake." Adam stood back from the door and panicked. What will they do to him? He waited as the thing widened the door. "Oh," It started "You're awake." Adam stood rigid, looking at it. The shorter one said
"Mum, he looks scared of us. Do you think he knows who we are?"
"He should know us, but he doesn't." The mum looked at her son then at Adam again. Adam stuttered, nervously,
"W-w-who are y-y-y-you?" The 'animals' were confused. Adam looked puzzled. "And what did you mean when you said "I should, but I don't." What does that mean?" The so called 'animals' looked as if they had been blown back by him. The two 'animals' exchanged glances; they nodded and turned back to Adam.
"I think," The taller one started "it's time to tell you the truth... The full truth." Adam sat down on the bed he laid on earlier as he started to listen to the taller 'animal' about him.
As soon as the taller one finished its truth about, Adam felt as if something is bugging in the back of his mind.
"Let me get this straight," Adam started. He looked at the taller one first. "So you are Belle." She nodded. Then he looked at the smaller one ", and you are Nick." He nodded. Adam was more puzzled. It's amazing those two unknown animals names are like human's names from where Adam lived. It was a different experience for Adam, he was terrified at some points, but he enjoyed all the rest. Belle started
"Do you think you remember anything about us now?" Adam nodded his head slowly in response to Belle question. Then, Nick asked
"What do you remember?" Adam looked into his mind and tries to find his memory about those two extraordinary creatures.
