Fun & Games - Part 1

"Howdy!" Kiba grinned as he walked in, taking his place standing next to Naruto in front of the Hokage's desk. Sasuke cursed silently as he glared at Kiba.

"Is something wrong Sasuke?" Tsunade asked.

"I thought Sakura would be joining us." Sasuke replied, careful not to let his aggravation leak into his voice.

"Sakura won't be joining you this mission. There are some staffing shortages in the hospital due to illness, we need her there." Tsunade replied flatly. "With Kakashi away on another mission I'm forced to find a temporary member to complete your team."

'But why Kiba of all people!?' Sasuke seethed silently, careful not to let it show on his face. All hopes of getting an advantage were shattered now that Kiba was part of the team.

"I'll begin the briefing." Tsunade declared sitting forward, she plucked a file from one of the large stacks on papers on her desk. "It is a B-rank mission, you are to eliminate a severe bandit threat in the land of waves. Naruto and Sasuke, you were chosen because you have previously worked for the client."

"Tazuna?" Naruto asked with an excited tone.

"Yes, Tazuna. You previously acted as body guards while he completed the building of a bridge in the Land of Waves. It seems that over the last few months a considerable force of bandits have moved into the area and are causing trouble, they appear to be well organised, you must crush them and drive them out of the Land of Waves by any means necessary. You are to leave immediately."

"Understood Lady Tsunade." Sasuke said formally, bowing, Kiba following suit while Naruto just grinned excitedly. It had been nearly four years since he had seen Tazuna and Inari, he couldn't wait to meet them again. They left Tsunade's office and went to pack for their journey, all of them due to meet at the front gate within the hour.

Sasuke was the first to arrive at the gate. He was the only jounin ranked ninja on this mission, which meant he was in charge, the success of the mission was in his hands. He tried to focus on the mission, but his thoughts always came back to his feelings for Naruto. He couldn't let his feelings jeopardise the mission, he had to treat this mission like any other, he couldn't let Naruto's presence distract him.

"Sasuke!" Naruto called as he spotted him standing by the gate. Sasuke looked up and felt his blood boil as he saw Naruto and Kiba walking side by side, biting back his anger and trying to remain calm and professional.

"Since we're all here lets head out!" Sasuke ordered. "If we hurry we can make it to the next town around sunset."

Naruto and Kiba didn't argue, they nodded in agreement while Akamaru barked and wagged his tail. They ran at full speed through the tree tops, the journey was made in an silence, none of them sure what to say to the others. All of them were glad when they finally made it the village shortly after sunset, the sun having completely disappeared over the horizon. Sasuke lead them to the inn, it was made from long wooden logs, and was surprisingly large for such a small town. Sasuke had stayed here a number of times over the last couple of years. The inn was basic but served excellent food, the place was often busy with travellers as it was on a highly travelled road.

As they entered Sasuke noted that it was surprisingly quiet, only a dozen people were in the room, most of them Sasuke recognised as local villagers; here to have a drink at the bar. Before he could take more than a few steps into the building he was intercepted by the inn owners wife. She was a short yet charming woman, very motherly and greeted all of their guests with the same cheerful attitude.

"Welcome back Sasuke-san!" She said with a bow, her long black hair tied with a large bow on the back of her head, and wore a light blue kimono, dirty from her long day of work.

"Thank you..." Sasuke looked around the room, attempting to hide the fact he couldn't remember her name. She bowed to both Naruto and Kiba it turn before returning her attention to Sasuke.

"You want room for you and your friends?" she asked quickly, Sasuke found the way she spoke so quickly slightly irritating, but he hid it well.

"Yes."

"We have room on top floor, three beds... unless you want three separate rooms?"

"Actually..."

"That room will do just fine, thank you." Sasuke spoke over Kiba, he wasn't going to risk Kiba trying to sneak into Naruto's room in the middle of the night. This way he could keep an eye on him and maybe get and eyeful of Naruto at the same time.

"Nice place." Naruto commented looking round. "Think they serve ramen here?"

"I don't know, we'll rest up and head out early in the morning, if we make good time we can make it to the land of waves sometime tomorrow evening." Sasuke stated, wanting to get this mission over with as soon as possible, the less time Kiba had to be around the better.

"Well then lets get some grub before heading to bed." Kiba suggested walking with his hands clasped behind his head, leaning close to Naruto as he passed and whispering. "If you get cold you can come share my bed." Naruto's face flushed beet red in a second.

"No-no... I'll be fine!"

"Well, I suppose you don't need a reason to share my bed with me." Kiba winked walking off and leaving a very flustered Naruto.

"I thought we agreed..."

"What? I was offering to share my bed, it's your choice, I'm not forcing you." Kiba grinned, Sasuke scowled and Naruto blushed even harder. Walking off towards the bar to order some dinner Kiba whistled a cheerful tune, completely aware of Sasuke glaring daggers into the back of his head.

"Ignore him Naruto, he thinks with his dick."

"No... it's fine." Naruto sighed. "He had a point, he's not forcing himself on me or fighting with you... trust me, I'm not planning on sharing a bed with anyone tonight." Sasuke forced a smile, a little disappointed that he wasn't going to convince Naruto to come to his bed instead.

"Lets go get some food." Sasuke suggested, allowing Naruto to take the lead so he could stare at his ass.

Dinner passed uneventfully, Naruto managed to get a bowl of ramen but spent the whole time comparing it to Ichiraku's, he ate it despite the poor comparison. After dinner they went straight to their room on the top floor, the room was spacious enough that they could move around without getting in each others way, and as promised there were three beds; however there was two single beds and a double.

"Dibs on the big bed!" Kiba declared belly flopping onto the bed, he rolled onto his side and patted the space next to him in an attempt to lure Naruto over. "Plenty room for one more!"

"Not happening Kiba!" Naruto crossed his arms and scowled.

"Fine..." He sighed, his demeanour changing to one of depression and just as quickly perking up with a big grin on his face. "How about we play a game?"

"How about we don't?" Sasuke retorted, his back turned to Kiba as he sat his backpack down on one of the single beds.

"Aww, come on!" Kiba insisted. "It's still early yet!"

"We're leaving early in the morning."

"Only because you say so, what's the harm in staying up a little later? We can still leave early but this way moral will be high!"

"He has a point Sasuke, I'm not really tired." Naruto added.

"Tch... fine, play your stupid game!"

"You playing?" Kiba asked, unable to keep a grin off his face as he began to hatch his plan.

"..." Sasuke stopped himself from saying no. He had no intention of playing any games, but knowing Kiba as well as he did, leaving Naruto to play a game alone with him could be a bad move. "Fine!" He huffed, taking a seat on the edge of the double bed, Naruto sitting cross legged on it.

"Right, my idea so I pick the game!" He reached into on of the pockets on his flak jacket and pulled out a deck of cards. "The game is 5-card draw truth or dare, the person with the worst hand has to pick truth or dare, the winner gets to ask the question or pick the dare! If anyone backs out or is found to be lying, then they are subject to punishment of losing their pay for this mission and sharing it between the other two!"

"What!?" Naruto exclaimed. "You can't be serious!?"

"Don't worry about it!" Kiba waved his hand dismissively as if it wasn't a big deal. "The other rule is that you cannot pick truth or dare three times in a row. Easy enough?" Both Sasuke and Naruto nodded reluctantly, worried what they were letting themselves in for. Kiba dealt and they all checked their cards. Naruto was silently grateful that he had picked up the rules the few times he had watched Jiraiya play. Sasuke was first and exchanged two cards, Naruto exchanged three cards and Kiba exchanged four.

"What's wrong Kiba? Bad hand?" Sasuke asked sarcastically.

"No, just lucky!" He grinned back. "Now, show 'em boys!" They all revealed their hands, Sasuke had three of a kind, Naruto had a pair and Kiba had a straight, five to nine. "All right!" Kiba cheered, happy in his win.

"Lucky fucker..." Sasuke seethed under his breath.

"Aww man..." Naruto whined, having the worst hand,

"So what's it going to be Na-ru-to?" Kiba grinned enthusiastically. "Truth? Or dare?"

"I'll go with..." Naruto paused thinking which was the least scary option with Kiba being the one to decide his fate.

"Come on Naruto, we don't have all night!" Kiba snapped impatiently.

"Truth!"

"Okay..." Kiba rubbed his chin as he stared at Naruto, thinking of his question. "Do you think I'm sexy?"

"..." Naruto blushed at the question, he didn't want to answer but it wasn't worth losing the pay for the mission. "...Yes." He hated to admit it but he couldn't deny it either, just thinking about Kiba naked made him hard, he felt himself get stiff making him blush even harder.

"Ha! I knew it!" He grinned. "I knew you did, I just wanted to hear you say it! Your deal Sas-gay!" Sasuke scowled at the nick-name before grabbing the cards and dealing the next hand. As before they all looked at their cards and decided what cards to discard, Naruto swapped two cards, Kiba once again swapped four cards and Sasuke swapped two.

"Come on baby!" Kiba prayed as he looked at his new cards. "Hoo yeah! I'm one lucky S-O-B!" Kiba threw his cards down to reveal a full house. Sasuke cursed and revealed his own hand of two pairs, the same as Naruto's, only Sasuke won since he had the higher pair.

"Damn it!" Naruto cursed.

"You know it baby! Truth or dare!?" Kiba yelled pointing his finger at Naruto.

"Truth..." Naruto sighed.

"Okay then, who do you find more attractive, me or Sas-gay over there?" Once again Naruto's face flushed red.

"I-I don't really..."

"Don't give excuses, who do you find sexier?!" Kiba restated his question, more forcibly this time. Naruto stared down at the bedding in front of him, his stare so intense, anyone watching him would think he was trying to find the meaning of life written somewhere between the stitches. Naruto's mind was racing, he had never thought about who he found more sexually appealing. Kiba had that muscular physic, toned skin and a stare that could make you go weak at the knees. While Sasuke not being as muscular as Kiba, had a toned body, with looks that could make any man or woman swoon.

"Kiba..." Naruto muttered under his breath, he felt like his face was on fire.

"What was that?" Kiba asked, leaning closer.

"I said I find you sexier! Okay?" Naruto all but yelled, crossing his arms and pouting. He didn't want to admit to it, for more than one reason. Sasuke felt a small part of him being crushed by Naruto's answer, he didn't want to lose to Kiba, especially when it came to Naruto.

"Yes!" Kiba pumped his fist in victory, happy that he had one upped his rival Sasuke, his victory made all the sweeter by the fact that Naruto now had to pick dare next time he loses. "Okay, your deal, Na-ru-to." He grinned, happy with how the game was going.
