A Lack Of Something (A Group of Haikus)

I had decided to write these all in one go. I went with the 5-7-5 rule on some of these. Also, this is my first time trying something like this.

  1. Sitting in a room

Wondering where I can travel

Yet I fly freely

  1. The rain has fallen

Wind chills my body

I rub my cold arms

  1. There's a monster here

It growls silently to me

It's on my roof top

  1. The moons light shines bright

Leaves leave fleetingly

Fog blankets the ground

  1. Green orchards and fruit

Caught in a moment

I smile- just a picture

  1. Thunder roars loudly

I feel safe and sound in here

In my small tiny tent

  1. Stop it- the car moves

Plains roll by me slowly

The sun shines cruelly

  1. Sounds come from my closet

I hug my teddy

I hope I'll sleep now

  1. The alarm rings loudly

I awake from a good dream

I then go to work

  1. The cold winter breeze

sweeps the snow quite suddenly

and then it all stops

  1. The lack of something

Dreams, feeling, fear, love
