Well here it is, the preview of the story so far, and no, this is not a chapter story, at times I may upload a new previews, that said, the old one will be deleted. anyway, tell me how i did.

Also, i plan on making this short story more of a story and not a fuck fest like the last time i tried this out. anyway, hope i did well.

Hello everyone one, Eragon here to give you what many of you have waited for, the revived of Three Dragoness, One Human. Now before you read the story, allow me to point out a few things first hand. There will be changes to the story for reasons I will explain in a bit.

1: as you saw, this was not named "Three Dragoness One Human" I changed the name to better fit the story, as some would say "The name just lacks." I agree with this, I never really did put a lot of thought into at all in the first place anyway.

2: the story will be in the POV of Brandon James Casey, the reason for this, is because well, I have been writing stories in first person view for almost half a year now, and just can't seem to get out of writing it in the third view.

3: Some, (and by some I mean mostly all) of the dragons names have been changed, I have come up with much better names, and even better looks for them.

4: More background stories will be placed in this short story to better understand each of the characters.

5: Brandon will be portrayed as a bit younger, in his mid eighteen's, this way he still has a reason of why he is still living with a guardian and not on his own.

But this right here is pretty much it, I am still thinking if I should make this all one go and gives updates at different times or make it into a chapter story, well, ether way, you'll see by the time this is updated. Enjoy!

Also, before you write, the name is a WIP, if you think of a better name, please, do tell.

"You better be back by the time Friday comes around you stupid brat!" I heard the bitter voice of my 'guardian' call out from my closed door. I scoffed to myself as I brought my clothing into my bag rather forcefully, not caring to fold them at all. In the bottom, some food was put in that I bought from my job working at KFC. I didn't get a lot of money, seeing how it was a slow few weeks; but hey, it lasted me. "Because I swear, if you're not here when those government people come to see if you are in good health..."

"I know, I fucking know!" I yelled out, snapping back at her though the door. "You'll get your fucking beer money you old hag!"

"I better," she didn't even care that I swore at her or yelled back, it was a relationship we grew to be made. Ever since I was but five years old, after my mother was killed in a fire, I was placed under her as a foster home. Outside, she looked as happy as can be, inside, she was a fucking witch. I remember the first week staying with her, the slaps I got just for the littlest things that made no sense to me at the time. The money she got from the government or the system I don't even care anymore, it just went right to her beer income. I only got clothes when she knew they would ask questions. By the time I was seven, I got a paper job, so I would use the money to pay for my own stuff. Why I just didn't tell anybody what I was going through, truthfully...who would believe me? So as the years went by, I was the only one taking care of myself, not this old wrinkly old hag monster of a bitch! I only sighed though, my birthday was coming up in the next day anyway, soon I would be nineteen and old enough to move out and live on my own. Looking over at the mirror in my room, I could see my brow wrinkled with anger from the Hag, as I always called her; even in her face. My green eyes seemed to blaze with rage at how she treated me, my tan fair skin easily seen because of the summer, I grew a bit darker. My black hair, pushed back from its normal spike like style. Looking at my simple black jeans and black shirt, I shrugged as I hoisted the duffle bag over my shoulder. Looking around my room once more, in case I forgot something, I snapped my finger as I went toward my bed, and pulled out a small blue gem stone. It was about the same size as a two dollar coin, you could easily see through the rough circle like gem. Bouncing it in my hand for a second, I pocketed the gem, walking past the old Hag; and outside in the clear open sky day.

In the matter of an hour of walking, or jogging when I felt like it; I was on the side of the highway. Cars and other such transportations zoomed by to the left of me; to the right of me, the deep lush green of the forest. After another few minuets of walking, I found a thin easily missed path, and turned to walk into there. Ducking at times from the low branches as I followed the path, so deep into the forest, no sound of city dwellers were heard from; only the soft sing songs of birds.

I stopped for a moment to look around, closing my eyes and taking in a deep breath of the world around me, sure, I grew up in the city, but a place like this...man, what I would give to live out here, away from everything. I shook my head, maybe one day I could, but right now, I had somewhere to go; and there it was. The path opened up wide to a large flat area; trees were three to be made it look like a large circle, flowers, and wild flowers, grew in the area, making it seem like something out of a story. I smiled as I reached into my pocket to pull out the gem, it was now glowing a soft glowing hue. Grinning I bounced it on my hand a few more times before throwing it up in the air as I high as I could toward the middle of the area. I watched as the light caught onto the gem stone as it fell back to earth. But before it could reach the ground, it stopped, as if someone that was there and I could yet to see them had caught it. The stone started to spin and float up into the air slowly. And as I watched, a clear figure started to come from it. like a snake uncoiling it self, the creature coiled around and around the stone, before something grew to be the shape of a triangle in a sense, a ghastly like body was forming, horns grew from its now plain looking head. To anyone, it looked like a one of those snakes like dragons, the legs in the far back coming out as well as the arms in the near top. Two deep blue filled eyes opened slowly to peer down at me. "Thee who seek passage into the mirror world," it spoke in a voice that sounded not male or female. "Speak thy name clear, and thy clan who has bestowed this key to,"

"My name is Brandon James Casey," I spoke out clearly to the spirit dragon. "The Clan of the Adukekin gave me this passage of worlds!" the dragon's head bowed slowly as its eyes closed as I made my way closer.

"Then I allow thee passage human," it spoke once more as it turned, opening its mouth as a soft hum came from its throat. I watched as before it, the very air and space shimmered as I stood beside it. The space in front of the spirit rippled more and more, as a portal, looking kinda like one of that water like portals from that one sci-fi show came to be. The dragon then turned to me as I brought my hand out, it started to shrink and became a gemstone once more. Pocketing the gem, I made my way through the portal.

Once I made it through, I could feel the difference in the air, it was much fresher, lighter, almost like being on top of a high point where little air was. I took a moment to rest, going from one area to another like that always took the wind out of me, and I needed to get use to it. Sitting on the ground, I sighed in and out slowly. Looking around, it looked pretty much the same from where I was, but I knew I was in a whole new place, a whole new world.

Shaking my head once more, I stood up and stretched as I rubbed the back of my ear a few times, before going toward the same path where I entered. It took a while, but soon I was out of the forest, but a highway did not greet me, but a long and wide valley did. I smiled; at least it worked on the first time this time. Turning to my left, I brought my hand over my eyebrow, and saw that far off, many tall peaks of mountains were easily seen, the tips covered in white clouds. It was going to take me a good hour to get there, much like back in the other world. I just stood there, one leg crossed over the other, my toe of my shoe on the ground, the heel up in the air a bit as I crossed my arms; and waited. The rumbling beats of wings were easily heard as I looked up, it was easy to see it, seeing how the sky were clear as well; a large form coming down from the skies. I took a step back and brought my arms over my eyes as dust and dirt flew all around as the large winged beast landed before me, the ground rumbled with it's bulk as it landed. Removing my arms, I crossed my arms behind my back; looking at the large black dragon.

He was as big as one of those two floor houses; I was never good at measuring, so I didn't even try to tell how big he was like that. His body was as black as a starless night, and if it was dark, his pray would not see him if the moon was covered. His wings, a good three times, maybe two times his size, spikes on the joints were also black, not as black; but black all the same. His large gold eyes, maybe as big as my head, looked right down at me, they seem to twinkle in the afternoon light. The large tail being him, twitched as if to pounce, the sharp white shade easily seen. "Greetings human of Adukekin," he spoke in a deep rough voice. "It seems your passage through the Mirror Door came through right this time," at times, as he spoke the human tongue, you could hear softly growls from him. Such a way some of these older dragons here speak.

"Yes Gate Keeper," I spoke his title, seeing how his name was so hard to pronounce that I would not even try. He said the same for my name, but I felt like he just didn't remember it; I didn't care. "It seems I'm getting more use to the gem now then when I received it from the High Elders a few years ago."

"Even something that seems simple, takes a good deal of time to master," he spoke as I only nodded my head. "I see you carry a pack, are you staying within this world for a few days?"

"Yes I am," I answered as he blinked at me. "You know how those three can get anyway." We both shared a small chuckle, like old friends. "Plus, they found out that in the next few days, it will be my birthday, so they wished for me to spend it with them."

"Ah, this...'birthday' as you so call it, is it like a hatch-day for the hatchlings?"

"Yes," I answered looking at him. "But how humans live short lives compared to you, we do it every year, not every decade."

"I see, well, if you like Adukekin, I shall fly you to their cave,"

"I would like that, thank you." I gave a small smile and he turned and laid on the ground, using his wing, he picked me up as I slid onto his back. Spreading his wings, he took off, causing me to jerk back as I held on to one of his back spike.

It took all but five minuets for the Gate Keeper toward the area where I would be staying for the next couples of days. Sure, it wasn't a human city filled with buildings and such, but hey, I stayed over here loads of time, not as bad as some would make it out to be. After landing, and me jumping off the Gate Keepers back, I coughed as he kicked up some dust as he flew off; I gave a small frown at this and shrugged my shoulders slightly. Hater gonna hate I guess right?

Looking around, I saw that I was really high up, but to the side, I could easily see a pair of stair case that would lead downward. I smiled, seem they at last made one for me so I could climb up and not bother them, or the Gate Keeper. Walking into the cave, it was lit by a row of fire as I climbed downward and downward, soon the roof opened as rays of light came down from above. The weird thing, it was so high that the light could get in but nether rain nor snow could not enter. "So what shall we do for Brandon's hatch-day?" I heard a voice close by. I raised an eyebrow, knowing full well who was speaking. Slowly sneaking downward, I chuckled as I saw three tiny dragons, well to me they seemed smaller, from how large their mother and father were. They were about the size of a...okay I don't know what the dog name is, just think of the one that does the saving when you get caved in by snow, and they have that barrel around their necks. Each were of different colors, the one on the far right, who was slightly larger because he was the only male of the two, was a light blue. His white horns curled backwards slightly on his head, and white spikes trailed down his back. Along his tail were these same white spikes until they got close to his spade of a tail. It nearly reminded me of a sword, and just as sharp as one to. I remember telling this dragon, which name was Greydor that I wanted to draw pictures of him, or allow others to; he liked how the other humans drew him. The next dragon, which was in the middle of the group, was the smallest of the three, just reaching my belly when on all fours. Her scales were that of blood red, she bore no horns, but hair, which were as black as the night. I couldn't see her eyes from where I was, seeing how her back was to me, as well as the other three, but all of their eyes were that of a golden yellow. Her tail tip, which was bare, flicked slightly as the three looked down at, something, maybe draw out plans? Her name was Amber. The last of the three were also blue, but a lot darker then her younger brother, her being the oldest of the three. The scales were that of navy blue, her wings ruffled as he brought a claw o the back of her head to rub, a trait she learned from me, seeing me doing it many times over the years when thinking. She bore no horns, spike, or hairs, making her look rather 'naked' as Greydor would joke at her. Her name was Luna, as she then spoke after her little sister Amber.

"I do not know," she answered placing her paw back on the floor. "I mean, he sure likes swords, seeing how father allows him to use the ones he hoards at times. Maybe we could ask father to give him one?"

"But that would be a gift from father though!" the male dragon answered as he huffed. "I don't know...what does he like?" I chuckled in my head watching them go on before answering myself.

"You three don't need to get me anything," they all flinched and turned to look at me as I waved with two fingers. "Sup."

"Brandon!" they all cried out and tackled me to the ground at once. I laughed as I was assaulted with nuzzles and hugs from the three as I rubbed each of them.

After they let me up, and me dusting the dirt off my pants legs, I sat crossed leg before them as they sat before me, well all for Amber, who was lying on her back, her head on my lap as I rubbed her belly, her eyes closed as she let out a pleased coo at the rubbing. "Really you three," I answered looking at each of them. "I don't need anything."

"But we wanna get you something," Luna spoke as she looked at me as she sat on her hatches. "I mean, even the Elder and mother and father are getting you something!"

"The Elder?" I asked with a tilt of my head as Greydor whacked her behind the head making her yelp.

"Good going!" he hissed through his teeth. "You were not to tell him that!" she hissed back at her brother before I sighed as waved my hands.

"Alright you two, don't worries I can act shocked when I see them.

In this world, there were four Elders, one for each side of the world. It was because of this Elder, that I came to own the stone to come to this world when I wish to. It took a lot of trust and years to own my own, but I gained the Elder's trust in the end. This Elder was one of the only one of the four that believed that humans could live side by side with dragons. And it only took longer to make the other Elders see I was of no threat. "Just don't tell me what it is alright?" they all nodded till I heard Amber sniff a bit as she opened her eyes and looked up at me.

"I smell jerky," she said quickly as I laughed and nodded. After bringing beef jerky with me last time, they seemed to grow a taste of loving it, so I reminded myself to bring some. Going into my pack, I brought out three long sticks of the jerky and gave each of them one. As they ate, Greydor who said between bites.

"So, you're gonna stay here for the weekend?" I nodded as I stretched my legs out.

"Yeah, need to stay away from the hag,"

"Can't you just stay away from her?" Amber asked looking up at me. "Like, get your own cave?" I smiled, and shook my head.

"I have no means to pay for one, and the fact I am not considered old enough to own my own place."

"Well that sucks balls!" Greydor hissed, using the line I would always say. "Did...I use that right?" he asked, I chuckled and nodded.

"Yeah, this worked out fine for that line. And I concur," I closed my eyes and crossed my arms slightly, hearing the licking of lips. "It does suck, but I'll be fine; you'll see."

"Wish you could stay with us," I felt a nuzzle on my chest as Amber found her way back on me as she nuzzled me more, I smiled and rubbed her face softly.

"Yeah," I answered softly. "So do I."

After just speaking with them for a while, I came to find out that their folks were out for a while, leaving us there alone. Amber, for some reason, seemed extra clingy to me, at times nuzzling my hand to make me pet her. It didn't bug me at all, but it still got me to thinking of her motives behind this. Still, she was considered young in the dragon years, I mean, in humans' years, after doing the math; she would be maybe five or so. Ether way, my birthday was not until tomorrow, and if I was going to stay here, I would need a place to sleep.

"Come on, he is a male like me, he should sleep in my cave!"

"He slept there last time!" Amber whined. "He's sleeping with me!"

"Guys, guys," I chuckled softly looking at them as they stopped. "I'm here all week; I can sleep in each of your rooms aright? And Greydor, I did promise Amber I sleep with her today anyway." The small dragoness beamed a large smile as Greydor snorted and looked away. I and he did hang out a lot when I was here, seeing how, beside his father, I'm the only male around. Well sure, there WERE other males, just not around his age job and such. I remember him telling me that he considered me a brother of sorts, and really...these dragons. They were the closet thing I could think of as a family.

"You okay Brandon?" I heard the small voice of the blood red dragoness. I looked up, not knowing I had my head down, she was sitting before me, having removed herself from under my arm.

"Y...yeah," I answered with a smile. "Just thinking is all."

After a while, a thundering roar was heard causing us all to jump. "Mother and Father are home!" Luna cried out as she got up and ran up the exit of which I entered. Greydor and Amber waited for me to stand before we went off to greet them, me, leaving my pack back where we were. By the time we reached the main area of their home, the two large dragons were already coming in, and by large, I mean LARGE! The father, whose name was Talon, was the larger of the two. His scales, just like Amber, were what of Blood red he had fins on his head, which I guessed were his ears, I never did bother to ask him. His horns on his head, pushed back and bent down, then up, were a color of black. His underbelly, held that of a color of a pale yellow, to me anyway. His eyes, where mine would be white on the outside, were the same color shade of Greydor's scales; the other part, a greenish yellow. On his nose, he had three black horns, the first on the tip, the longest, and becoming half the size as it went down. His mate, who stood a bit shorter then him, smiled down at their daughter before looking up as myself and her other two children walked up. Her scales were as black as the night, and like Amber, she bore hair, which were as white as the snow hat fell on the first big snow fall around here; her eyes, a piercing ice blue. I remembered meeting Twilight for the first time, and for some reason, which I was glad for now, she didn't treat me like a human, like how Talon did, thinking I was just going to slay their children. But, she treated me as if I was her own. It was the first time in years I felt loved by someone, loved by a mother.

"I see you found your way here then Brandon," Talon spoke to me, a low growl in his voice when he spoke, sure at first this scared me, but I grew use to it over time. "How did you get here so fast? We did not think you would be here before we did."

"The Gate Keeper offered me a ride," I answered them walking up, Twilight lent down and gave me a small nuzzle as I hugged her neck. "Much better then running up here then climbing up?"

"Well," Twilight spoke next, her voice soft and soothing. "We did make those stairs now."

"Yes I saw that," I answered her with a chuckle. "That will make climbing up and down so much easier."

"Mhm, that it will," The large red dragon spoke. "Ah before I forget, Brandon, may I speak to you, alone?" he thrust his chin toward where he and Twilight stayed when they slept.

After entering the area, and he lying softly on his pile of gold coins and other such treasures, he looked to me with his blue and green eyes. We didn't say anything for a while, that long awkwardness slowly becoming more, and more; well, awkward. After a while, he cleared his throat as I looked at him, sitting myself by the nearest wall, my legs spread out before me. I brought my right knee up, holding the knee with my hands. "Well," he started looking at me, crossing his paws over each other. "I would like to say first, thank you for allowing us to be with you on your hatch-day Brandon."

"Birthday," I reminded him as he chuckled and nodded.

"All the same, it means a lot to my children, you are the first human they have ever met; and I am glad they call you friend."

"Likewise," I answered him, looking up at him. "They are fun to be around, but, why did you call me in here; just to say this?" he coughed again, looking away before shaking his head.

"No...Brandon, how much do you know of heat?"

"Heat as in body heat or heat as in...?"

"Mating heat," he answered for me as I nodded.

"I know that it is a time where a female's body is ready to have young, pretty much all I know." He nodded his head and looked to me.

"Well, this is mating season, it is already among us, which would explain why Amber had been a little clingy to you when you got here. Her body is trying to...well," I guess that explained it, but why would she want to mate with me? Well...maybe she doesn't want to; her mind must be a haze from what I heard that it does to the dragoness body.

"Why hasn't Luna been clinging to me as well then?" I asked, wondering this after just finding this out.

"Luna has undergone a few heat seasons herself. She had yet to find a suitable mate, and to the fact, she does not want hatchlings at this age."

"I see..." I answered as Talon then went on.

"The reason I am telling you this...is well..." he looked down and took a deep breath. "My mate and even my daughters have spoken of this, and well...we wish for you to subdue all of their heats."

Wait...what?! Did I just hear that right?! Not only...did he want me to have sex with his daughters...but even, his own mate? "I and Twilight do not wish to have a nest filled of eggs yet, at least, not this season. It is true, we have done, other things to help her throughout her needs, but we thought...seeing how a human can not breed, and I mean egg-heavy, a dragoness...you could help."

"T...Talon..." I trailed off as I looked down. "I don't know...I mean, I could help Amber and Luna, if this heat really does mess with them, but...Twilight?" I looked up at him as he shared back down at me. "Twilight...she's like a mother to me, and well...I find it pretty...weird that of which you are asking me to...lay with someone who I considered a mother figurer."

"I understand this," he answered in a calm voice. "But Brandon, I am not forcing you to do this, you see, me and Greydor shall leave after your birthday tomorrow, it is something we do around this time of year so that we do not, come into the smell of needy females. This will be Amber's first season, and believe me when I say it...it will be the worst for her." I tucked my chin into my chest, eyes closed as I thought deeply onto what he was telling me. I would be nineteen tomorrow, and truthfully, I had never had sex before. There just wasn't a girl I got to know well enough to do it. I wasn't one of those guys that just tries to get any girl and bangs her. No, I wanted to know someone a bit first...and then bang the hell out of them. Thinking about this deeper, Luna and Amber I could easily have sex with; maybe...but Twilight, I mean...she was...well large! I brought my hands to my face and breathed deeply, before inhaling and exhaling loudly. I didn't want them to suffer, so I guess...this one time maybe?

"Alright," I answered looking up at the blood red dragon before me. "I'll do it,"

"So what were you and daddy talking about?" little Amber asked me as she watched me roll out my sleeping bag. She had her nest, which was that of leaves and other soft items, but I couldn't sleep on that; trust me, I tried.

"Just...stuff," I answered, not wanting her to know just yet. Sure, no doubt the next day, Talon would pull the three away and speak to them about what we had agreed on...but still, it felt weird. Amber and Luna, I felt like they were my sisters in a way. And as I said of Twilight, she felt like a mother to me. That part, Twilight, still inched at my brain. How the hell could a dragoness of her size, have sex, (and feel it) with a human?! I listened to her as she hummed to herself, watching what I was doing I guess, after setting out the sleeping bag, and bringing out my pillow and setting in on the end I wanting, I felt a nudge under my arm. Looking to the side, I saw Amber eyes looking at me.

"Can...I sleep by you tonight?" she asked as I chuckled softly, rubbing her snout slowly.

"Sure Am," I spoke using her nickname. She gave me this huge smile that caused me to chuckle softly once more. Opening the sleeping bag so I could slip in, I made room for the small dragoness to curl up along my chest. After she did, and I draped the sleeping back cover over us, I hugged her to my chest, causing her to purr softly.

Still...the words of which Talon spoke to me of, they still echoed in my head. "My mate and even my daughters have spoken of this, and well...we wish for you to subdue all of their heats." With my arms still over Amber's frame, I thought about it, looking at the back of her head, my hand trailing through her hair. If they came to me and asked, then yes, I would. With my eyes slowly closing, I was brought into the darkness of my dreams.

"Brandon wake up!" I muttered as I felt the strong push of something on my chest. I rolled over onto my side, landing on the hard ground. Right then, I didn't care, I just didn't want to wake up. "Come on you lazy butt! Wake up!" I then felt the sharp teeth on my earlobe as Amber, I knew this because she was the only one who did this, pulled slightly; like a mother pulling on their child's ear.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!" I yelped as she let go at once making me rub my now sore ear. I turned to glare at the dragon, who was sitting on her hind legs, smiling with her tongue sticking out with her tail wagging behind her. "You know I hate that Am!" I snarled slightly as she only smiled wider.

"Well I wouldn't have to if you woke up before doing that!" My only answer to that was a firm glare, but that did not seem to faze the young fire breather. She then moved forward and nuzzled me softly, making me sighed and rub her face...in a way; it was hard to stay mad at her. "But come on! Everyone else is awake and we wanna give you our gifts!"

"Alright, alright," I answered with a smile as I stood up fully, groaning as my bones popped and snapped. If what Talon said was true, she should be in heat since a few days or so ago, she didn't look, dare I say, horny. Maybe because all she's caring about right now is my birthday? Ether way, I followed after her as she left out of her sleeping chambers, me; yawning on after her.

Once I made it to the main area of the dragon's home, indeed, Luna, Greydor, Talon, and Twilight were already there, waiting. "Happy hatch-day Brandon!" Greydor and Luna chimed at the same time as they bounded over to greet me as I chuckled. I would've told them it was 'birthday' but I just let it slide. I knew they were just gonna keep calling it hatch-day anyway. "Ready for your gifts?"

"Already?" I asked as Luna nodded.

"Yeah, we wanna get ours done before the Elder comes!" she went behind my back and pushed me with her head as I smiled and nodded.

"Alright, so, what's first?"

"Me!" Amber called out as she looked to her father. "Is it still there?"

"Yes young one," she nodded pointing to his sleeping chambers. "Right where you left it." she nodded and ran off, slightly gliding when she got enough air to do it. We waited for what seemed like a good ten minuets before she came back with something in her paw, seeing how she was hopping on only three legs.

"Okay," she said as she sat before me. "In a way, this is mine and mommy's gift to you cause she helped me with it, but, ta dah!" she plopped something down into my open hand. The shape of it was a dragon, that was for sure, looking like it was standing on its hind legs, arms up to its chest, and wings spread out. The one thing that was really amazing with this piece of art was that it was what felt like glass! The detail in it, just...wow. A chain link around it made me see that it was a necklace. Ducking my head, I slowly put it on as I smiled, looking down at it.

"I love it," I answered rubbing her face. "Thank you Amber, and you too Twilight."

"That there is diamond," the elder dragoness spoke as I looked up in shock. "Amber here spent many hours working on a coal to make it into the clear stone you see, I mostly did the craving. And also, looking carefully inside the dragon." I did as she told me and looked, that's when I noticed it, a red flame, stopped in time.

"That's my fire!" Amber proclaimed as I looked back at her, she puffed her chest out slightly. "So you'll always have a dragon's flame with you!" I held the necklace once more and then hugged the red hatchling as she draped her arms and neck around me.

"Thank you," I whispered to her. "I really love it." she responded by nuzzling me softly.

"Alright, my turn!" Greydor spoke as we broke apart. He went behind a rock and came back with something large on his back. When he was close enough, he slowly dropped it before me as I saw what it was. A kite shield, in fact, it looked much like the Hylien Shield from the Legend of Zelda game. The reason he knew of how it looked, it was because I allowed him to barrow my 3DS at one time (after making sure he couldn't break it with his claws.). He seemed to love the Zelda game, and I would watch him at times make small doodles. I stood up and lifted the shield onto my left arm; it could cover pretty much my own arm, meaning it made it a bit larger then what it was in the game. The blue standing out really well, as well as the red and yellow of which was the Triforce. "Took me forever and a day to cut the metal just right!" he told me as I looked back at him. "There's a dragon that, hundreds of years ago, took a human form and was a blacksmith, so he made the deigns after I showed him. And it's was made with dragon fire, so it's pretty much never going to break on you!" I smiled down at him and was about to take it off before he stopped me. "Wait! Let's test it out!"

"How?" I asked keeping it on as he smiled.

"I'm going to charge you, you just hold that shield up alright?" I looked down at him, and then the shield.

"You sure?" I asked as he nodded running off a way as I shrugged and held the shield up. The others backed away as he got ready, as well as I. I watched as he ran full force toward me, my legs steady, and my free hand behind the shield. His head rammed into the center with a loud cling, I yelp as I was pushed back, or more like skidded backwards as he kept charging. Grunting, I stood my ground, slowly coming to a stop. After a few more seconds, he stopped, panting softly as well as me, he was strong, well to me.

"Wow! Not even a dent!" I took off the shield and flipped it over, looking it all over, and he was right, not a single dent!

"Alright, my turn!" Luna spoke up as she came up to me.

"My gift, now that I saw Amber's, is pretty much the same, save, not a necklace." I watched as she left for only a few moments, and then returned, slowly walking over with what seemed to be a fire large stone. It was glass looking and also red, so I knew it couldn't be diamond; maybe a ruby? Ether way, the way the stone was molded and shaped, it look much like that of a frozen fire sigh. The inside, glowed and pulsed, in fact, just like Amber's gift, when she said it had a frozen flame inside it, this one also had a flame, but it was...moving! "Making the stone part was easy," she proclaimed as I looked back at her, as I sat on the ground holding the basketball size stone. "But putting fire in it, that never weakens and such...that was hard to do. It kept breaking the stone!"

I smiled at her and hugged her as well, the reason I didn't hug Greydor, was that he didn't like that sort of thing, we would at times 'bro fist' as I have come to tell him about it. I felt Luna's arms and wings wrap around me in a hug as I smiled softly. "Thank you Luna," I told her as we broke away. "I love it; I love all of your gifts."

"Well then," a voice I had heard only a hand full of times spoke up. "Then it seems its time for the one last gift."

Looking behind me, and then craning my neck up, I blinked at how she snuck up on me like that. And by her, I mean the Elder. Her body glowed softly in the bit of light that came down, shining off her gold like scales. Her eyes, unlike most dragons that were golden colors, were in fact as blue as the ocean's own color. They showed kindness, and wisdom, but also a fury if anyone crossed her. She was about, or maybe a bit higher, then Twilight herself. Her horns, curved forward slightly, like that of a rams. Her wings, which were slightly ripped along the membranes, were folded along her body. Spikes along the joints. She held a tail shade, which, and I saw it with my own eyes, easily slash through rocks, and trees. I knew she was coming, from what Luna told me by mistake the day before. But...ever since then, in the back of my mind, I wondered; what would an Elder want to give me? "By your customs," she spoke softly bending down to peer at my own eyes. "I should say, 'happy birthday', correct?" I only nodded my agreement with her as she smiled. "Ah, it seems my old learning times spending with a human village, had not all but been forgotten."

"Good morning Elder," Talon rumbled his greeting to her. "Is it ready?" now that I think of it, I didn't know what was the Elder's true name was. I only knew her as 'Elder', hrm; maybe I would ask her one day.

"Yes," she answered with a sharp nod of her head. "It is done and ready," whatever they were talking about, was making me rather confused. Looking along her body quickly, I could not find a hint of...anything other then her that seem out of the normal for her.

"What's ready?" Amber asked for me, well, I guess myself and the other two would be wondering what the older dragons were speaking of. Elder only softly chuckled before moving before me and looked down to me more.

"May you stand?" she asked, nodding, I stood on my feet, lightly brushing the dirt off my back legs as she looked over my body. "I'll also need you to remove your shirt as well," I raised an eyebrow, but still, did what she asked; what kind of gift was this?

Pulling off my black shirt, a shudder ran through my body from the cold morning air softly rubbing along my bare skin. I was slightly toned, nothing to be proud about, sure I had my muscles along my arms and chest, but I had a small flab going only my belly. And the small start of abs beginning to show. I had some hair on my chest as well, and a trail or 'snail trail' as one of my friends back home called it, going toward my groin area. "Good, now," she started as she sat before me, still looking down at me. "Before I can bestow this gift, I must ask you a simple question."

"Alright," I answered, god, I hope it wasn't a math question.

"The Adukekin, clan," she spoke with her eyes closed. "You have spent many a moons with them, living with them, much like many of the humans here, who have chosen to leave behind their own kind, to live amongst us. What do you considered this clan as, to you?" I stared at her, my head bowed, sure, I knew of these dragons...as friends yes, but at the same time; I felt like they were something more. With my eyes closed for a moment, as I searched deep within my heart, my soul; I found my answer for her.

"I..." I started as she opened her eyes to peer back down at me. "I feel like, they are a family I have lost many years ago, they filled the void I thought would never fill again. I feel happy around them, they care for me as if I was their own son, or brother," I looked around at each of them as they smiled at me, I felt Amber nudge under my hand, me rubbing her head softly. "They are my friends, and my family, and I am lucky...no, honored, to know and have gained their trust."

"Your words," she spoke in a soft, almost whisper like tone. "They do not come from the mind?"

"No Elder," I simple shook my head. "They come from my heart, and my soul."

"Very well," she answered me as she then leaned forward. "Close your eyes, you may feel a small burning, but it shall past." I nodded, doing as she said once more, closing my eyes, as the world went dark.

I heard her inhale, before exhaling loudly. At once I flinched, feeling indeed a burning creep along my chest, head, and my whole body. I fought the will to move my arms to brush it off, by grunting my teeth. A ringing in my ears came, as I heard the sound of soft dripping, my as well as soft thumps, like a heart beat; many heart beats. And my nose, caught...something, musky, earthy at the same time. After what seemed like hours, the burning slowly subdued, as I heard nothing, but the breathing of the dragons around me, and the dripping and thumps. "Open your eyes."

I slowly did, and flinched at how...clear everything was, sure, I could see well in the dark, but...it was, better somehow. I blinked a few times, but still, the crisp clean look of the world around me was still the same. "Brandon!" I heard Amber call out. "Look, on your chest and arm!" I lifted up my right arm, and was slightly shocked at what seemed to be a birthmark on it, and then, looking at my chest, I knew what it was now. A long red dragon was marked on my right side of my chest, the claws, on ether side of its body, and the wing, would stretched what I thought would be over my back. The tail, wrapped around my arm, like that of a snake would. The color of the dragon was the same shade of red as Talon's in fact.

"What the...?" I asked to myself in confusion as the Elder spoke once more.

"This is the mark of the Adukekin Clan," she sated as I looked up to her. "This means, you are free to live here with them, for Talon and Twilight, have agreed for you, to be known as their kin."

"Wh...what?" I whispered as Twilight spoke.

"The mark is giving to humans who wish to be part of a Clan," she spoke as I looked up to her. "Only humans, who have gained the trust of said Clan, and also the Elder of the area, are given this honored. Very few in fact, are ever chosen." She then smiled down at me as she went on. "Also, as you humans would adopt another if they have no family, you could say, we adopted you, to be part of our Clan."

"And that is not all ether." Talon went on as he moved forward. "From what you no doubt have seen, heard, and smelt firsthand. The mark has given you three dragon senses, and as you grow older, you too shall grow into a dragon."

"Yes," Elder went on after Talon stopped. "The Mark shall give you a longer life span of that of a dragon, and when you turn one hundred, your body will slowly change. Scales will grow from your skin, a tail, claws, wings. In ten decades, you, shall become; a dragon." She then smiled softly down at me, before rising to her full height. "This is our gift, to you."

I was awoken to the sound of what seemed to be...bubbles, my eyes twitching and fluttering as they slowly started to open from my slumber. I already knew, from the sounds and the smells around me, that I was not in my room. My head felt fine, so I...

Changeling Heart: A Battle Awaits

As I ate the food that Saki made me eat, seeing how really she only needed my love to go on, I heard the pages of the book being flipped through. The food was bland, not that much to it, but it did keep me going. And besides, not like they were giving...

Changeling Heart: A Bound Brought Back

The Changeling before me gave a soft smile, the kind of smile I remembered waking up to in the morning, food ready, and before I would leave for school. Even though he was not the unicorn I grew up knowing, it was still there. "Son...it's so great...
