Luke just sat there bewildered, she'd agreed to call him! He couldn't believe his luck, but the prospect of completing that essay loomed over him constantly. Swallowing and with some discomfort, he did that head swish thing again and set back down to work. three hours and four espressos later, his paper was finished. Rising from his seat, Luke shut down his laptop and went to leave the store, when suddenly he lost his grip on his laptop and had one of those mini heart attacks that you get, before grabbing it in mid air; arms trmbling with the adrenaline, he briskly left the store. Passing those gothic buildings again made the wolf feel a little small, but he knew he could relax in his apartment, safe in the knowledge that his dreaded essay was complete. All he had to now, was wait patiently for that phone to ring. Upon arrival to his quaint, little complex of tiny rooms, Luke opened his door and found hid appartment exactly how he'd left it, even down to the shorts that he'd left precariously balanced on the arm of his macha coloured sofa. He sighed, strode in, and closed the door behind him as a satisfying click indicated that the latch had shut. Alone again. Business as usual. Until later...
