We skip ahead 3 years to find out how Moon, Jakra, and Gelnon have matured since their first arrival at the academy, and we see how the so called "rivalry" has progressed between wolf and lion, as well as how Jakra has been treated since Moon's body enters maturity.

The sound of clashing steel filled the room as Moon swung his sword in a horizontal slash, only for it to be countered by Jakra who crossed two daggers in front of her and used both her arms to block.

"You're getting stronger, Jakra!" Moon called out, but quickly went for a sweeping kick as her legs were knocked out from under her. As she fell and hit the floor, Moon's sword was to her neck and she held her paws up in defeat.

"And you're getting more ingenuitive." Jakra replied as he helped her up to her feet, and they both placed their weapons on a display case next to the training field they sparred with.

It has been 3 years already, and Moon's body and mind had matured in that time. Once puberty hit, he quickly began to fill out into a body worthy of being called a predator, though he was not fully grown just yet. He now stood at 5'5, being even taller than Valo by comparison. His muscles had aslo become firm and strong, and he could feel the power teeming within was not entirely magical in nature. Weighing at 140 lbs now, he was clearly bigger than the young pup he had come in as.

Jakra had matured significantly faster than him, and when he asked why, Valo explained that mages aged slower than normal beast folk, something about the power of magic effecting their life spans. While Moon was still in his early teens, Jakra had begun to enter adulthood. The slave uniform she had was starting to become constrictive and they would need to replace it soon, lest it burst from her growing form.

Her breasts had reached a nice B cup size, and although she hadn't grown too much bigger, her body was filling out well in tone from the constant exercise. Moon had begun to use her as a sparring partner since last year.

Just as Moon has suspected, his treatment towards her had shifted since his body began to enter maturity. He was thankful that he still felt compassionate towards her, rather than becoming a tyrant who saw her as little more than an object, but the idea of lust and claiming her body was certainly one that had come up many times in his mind. It had become near maddening trying to fend off his impulses while she was in heat, but he was afraid of what Valo would do if he found out they were populating the academy with chimera offspring. Because of this, Moon and Jakra took great effort to ensure that they only mated after the heat cycles ended.

Standing at only 4'6 in height, weighing what he assumed was a mere 100 lbs, it would be effortless for him to just pin and breed her. Well, near effortless because he had been training her to fight, so she would be somewhat capable of resisting if she wished it. Also, there was that craving, the instinctive desire to hunt meat. Once puberty had started, he foud that his views on killing for meat had shifted from one of revultion, to one of intrigue.

Over the past year, he had been constantly fighting against the urge to eat Jakra, and it was hardest when he was hungry and she would pass close enough for him to smell or touch her. Luckilly, he managed to suppress those desires through study and the sparring matches. It seemed as long as he released his pent up energy with some other activity, it sedated his predatory urges for a time.

"You know Gelnon's going to want to have his own match with you today, right?" Jakra asked, once they finished putting their weapons away. Moon nodded with a smirk at the idea of his self proclaimed rival wanting to see who the better mage was.

Moon had begun to study the path of sorcery, just like Valo, yet he also ensured to train himself as a warrior to remind him of his heritage and childhood beliefs. Valo once commented that such a mage who combined sorcery and warfare was known as a Battle Mage. A description that seemed appealing to the wolf. Among all the powers of sorcery, Moon was the most gifted in fire elemental abilities, it seemed an affinity for fire ran in his family's magical heritage, hence their famed title as the Solar Swords.

The last three years, Moon had become more and more profecient in the sword Valo had given him, the sword now began to hum with power simply by being near its master, he no longer needed to touch it. He turned and looked at it, the blade was in its scabbard, hovering in mid air in the center of the ritual circle, gently bobbing up and down as if waiting for him to come and claim it again.

"Yes, he does seem to have an unfounded grudge against me." Moon agreed as he approached the hovering sword and grabbed hold of it, fastening it to his belt loop, "I guess its time to go see him." He said rhetorically as he made his way to the door. "You may bathe and clean yourself while I'm gone, I may need a bath myself by the time I get back." He said before opening the door and stepping out.

Jakra stretched her arms above her head and smiled as she sauntered off to the bathroom, discarding her tight garments, a relaxing, hot bath after a sparring session would be euphoric. She climbed into the tub and filled the steamy water up to her chest as she leaned back and allowed herself to soak. Sighing contently as she felt her tension ebbing away.

Moon, on the other hand, was not getting such a relaxing treatment. Not only was the lion, Gelnon waiting for a battle, he was waiting right outside Moon's door! As if by some sick joke, Gelnon's dormatory was directly next to Moon's, and was number 4-24. Every day they left for a day on training, they would bump into each other, and usually result in a heated competition. This time, it was one of their regular battles, they usually had one about once a month to show how far their training had come.

Gelnon had also undergone puberty during the last 3 years and was beginning to mature better. Lions being much bigger than wolves, it looked as though he would be the superior in a match fought with brute force, but this was not the case. He had grown to 5'7 in height, with strong, predatory muscles weighing at an estimated 160 lbs. His mane had also started to grow in, adorning his head with a scruff of brown fur that covered from his scalp, down to his neck, though it still had more room to grow before it was an adult sized mane. Gelnon also noticed the addition of a new item he did not have last month, a bearded axe was strapped over his back. Odd, since Gelnon was a gesturer mage and did not require an item to perform any spells.

"Same place as always." Moon sat flatly, as Gelnon just huffed and they made their way down to the practice room. Much like the library, the practice room was also just around the corner for the apprentices. It seemed everything the apprentices needed to operate was within less than a 3 minute walking distance of their dorm rooms.

Soon they arrived at the site, it was a large, spacious room where spells could be flung without causing too much damage. There were targets on the far side of the room to train how far a mage's spells could reach, as well as several battle circles for conflict against live opponents. Today, the practice room was relatively empty, the apprentices were all studying with their mentors this early in the morning. The two of them could spar in peace.

"What's with the axe, Gelnon? You think I'm so awesome you want to be like me?" Moon taunted as he drew his sword and took his side in the ring. Gelnon drew his axe and held it diagonally in both paws as he leered at him.

"I've been doing some research, and battle mages aren't the only type can combine magic and warfare." He said mischievously, taking his own place in the ring. After a five second mental count down, they began.

The match started off with Gelnon quickly launching a spell, he held the axe paralel in front of him with one arm and swung his free arm across its length, releasing a 3 foot wide arc of green flames launching towards Moon.

Moon immediately recognized the type of spell, it was his Death Bolt, but it was different. It was usually a concentrated orb, not an arc shaped blast, it seemed the shape of his spells were altered when using that weapon in conjunction with his gestures. He needed to act fast and counter the spell.

Channeling his power through his sword until it began to glow vibrantly, Moon delivered a thrusting stab and shot forth a beam of energy that impacted the Death Bolt, the two spells canceling each other out in the middle of the arena. That had been Moon's Sun Beam spell, a technique similar to the fire beam that Valo had used to roast a cow girl several years ago.

"Very clever altering your spells like that, Gelnon!" Moon congratulated as Gelnon stood there, smiling at him, "As if Necromancy wasn't dangerous enough." He added, getting back into a defensive pose, just in case the lion had any more tricks.

"Oh I'm not just a Necromancer now, I've been studying the ways of the Death Knight." Gelnon replied, "Magic and warfare, I'm going to prove I'm better than you at both of them." He declared, repeating a vow he had made many times in the last three years.

"We'll see about that!" Moon declared before holding his sword above his head with both arms and focusing his power into the tip. A large orb of flames began to appear above him, taking the shape of a miniature sun 5 feet in diameter. Gelnon blinked in surprise when he saw it.

"I call it the Setting Sun, I just created it last night! You're its first test subject!" Moon declared proudly before swinging his sword down in a vertical drop. The orb of flames was sent flying in an arc towards Gelnon. The lion didn't have time to launch another spell, and instead dove out of the way as the orb made contract with the arena floor and burst into a flash of fire and light that momentarily blinded Gelnon as he shielded his eyes.

"You see, the thing about Necromancy, is that it mostly relies on summoning." Moon chastised, "It can't match Sorcery's raw, offensive might." He added. Gelnon rose to his feet, dragging his axe up and hefting it as he leered at him.

"True, there aren't too many bodies around for me to control." Gelnon agreed, "But like you, I too have recently learned some new tricks." He said before he enhaled deeply and slowly began to exhale. At first, Moon assumed it was some kind of meditation, but that quickly changed when it felt as though the room temperature had plummeted 30 degrees.

"Chill of the Grave..." Gelnon declared menacingly as Moon watched an icy lair of frost begin to spread throughout the arena floor, making it cold and slippery. A faint cloud of winter mist drifted around the battleground, Moon realized the spell seemed to stop in a 10 foot radius around Gelnon's body, evidently he didn't have enough power to stretch his reach further yet.

"Cold, cold, cold!" Moon chanted, reflexively trying to rub heat back into his arms, even his fur did not seem to block out this deathly chill as Gelnon stood triumphantly at the other side of the ring, hefting his axe.

"This frost is as cold as the spirits of the dead, themselves. Fur and clothing won't keep you safe." he gloated, "If you don't escape in time, you'll pass out, but look around you, every spot within the arena is covered. You'll have to forfeit the match." He added, it was a cheap trick to force Moon into surrendering before the real battle had even started.

Moon had to admit, Gelnon certainly had gotten clever with this new trick. He didn't have any spells that were suited to repelling this effect, and as he tried wield his sword, the cold seeped in and he reflexively crossed his arms over his chest again.

"Well, what's it going to be, wolf?" Gelnon asked, "Graceful surrender, or dishonorably passing out on the floor?" He put his axe away, crossing his arms over his chest in victory, apparently uneffected by the chill of his own spell.

"That's a cheap trick, Gelnon." Moon chastised as he forced his body to take a step back, the cold was making him sluggish and numbing his body, "I thought a low class like you would want to beat mein a real battle. You'll never be a noble with cowardly moves like this." He added. Gelnon's head twitched to the side at the insult, one eye squinting as he bared his teeth in a snarl.

Taking the bait, Gelnon dispelled the power, the temperature returning to normal as the frost melted away. He drew his axe again and charged him in an effort to prove he could win a fair fight. Unfortunately for him, Moon had baited the trap well, and just as Gelnon reached him, he side stepped out of the way, spinning behind his opponent and kicked him in the back, sending him careening forward and landing outside of the arena circle, his axe skidding across the floor.

"I win!" Moon declared cheerfully as he sheathed his sword and stepped out of the arena. Gelnon was clearly furious at having been tricked in such a way, and as he was reaching for his axe, two familiar voices interrupted him.

"Really, Gelnon, what foolishness. Trying to use an axe in battle after only one month of training? Moon has been studying the sword for over a year." The voice chastised. Looking up into the air, The two apprentices saw Magus Galner descending to the floor.

"Yes, and you were both too eager to show off your new tricks, rather than hiding them up your sleeves." said the second voice, this one belonging to Magus Valo as he approached them from the ground, arms crossed behind his back. Galner and Valo hadn't changed a bit since 3 years ago, they were already adults, and aged far slower than normal.

By now, the lion got back on his feet, holstering the axe on his back as the two apprentices bowed to their mentors. The two older males inspected the battlefield, finding some traces of puddles from where Gelnon's frost had melted, and a sizeable scorch mark from where Moon's fire ball had impacted. Otherwise, it seemed relatively clean.

"At least they're getting better at controling their abilities. There's hardly any damage to the facility." Valo commented, both Moon and Gelnon being pleased at the compliment of their progress.

"Now Gelnon, what did I tell you about practicing with your axe?" Galner asked rhetorically, "100 vertical swings, and 100 horizontal swings every day, you need to build the upper body strength, look how easily he knocked you over when you charged him." He instructed. Gelnon nodded in humiliation as the falcon began to lead him away to resume his training in private, leaving Valo and Moon together.

"You're getting better." Valo said and as Moon was about to thank him, he explained what he meant, "You proved your superiority both in battle and in status. A noble born would never have fallen for such a blatant trap." He said. Moon rolled his eyes, his master was still going on about the food chain system even now.

"But aren't lions superior predators to both our kind?" Moon asked, "I mean, he's physically stronger than you, me, or even Galner." He said. Valo scoffed and patted Moon on the head, as he did have a point.

"Oh, I respect him as a superior predator, don't get me wrong. But predator though he is, you are still of noble heritage, where as he is a peasant. Maybe when his training is complete, we'll see if he becomes a true noble as he claims." Valo mused, "If that happens, I will gladly address him by his elevated station, but as it currently stands, he and I are both commoners, and I out rank him in this academy." he added, turning and beckoning the wolf to follow him.

"Now then, we're going to the library, I want you to read the first 5 chapters on the foundations of magic, and how each school evolved from Sorcery." He ordered. Moon groaned in frustration. A single chapter about magic could be upwards over 100 or so pages, the academy liked to keep very detailed records about magic and its history.

9 hours later...

Moon wearily creaked open his room door and forced himself inside. An entire day of reading and memorizing the information. Every time he finished a chapter, Valo would ask 5 questions about the chapter. If he answered anyone of them incorrectly, he had to completely read the chapter over again, and Valo, sneaky fox that he was, would change the questions for the next time!

He didn't even bother to bathe this time, he made a line straight for his bedroom, he needed to rest his exhausted eyes and brain. Yet by the time he reached his bedroom, he pulled aside the bed curtains to reveal a naked and quite awake otter girl, laing seductively propped on her side for him.

"Welcome back, master." She greeted, but when she saw the dazed look on his face, she look worried as he slumped into bed, barely addressing her.

"Uhh, Valo's studies...." Moon blurted out. Jakra knew what he meant, this wasn't the first time he had come back to his dorm in such a worn out condition. She sighed and began to undo his belt, helping him undress, as he was clearly too tired to do so, himself. She started by freeing the scabbard from the belt, and then pulling it out from around him. Thankfully, the robes didn't have belt loops.

Next she pulled his boots free, and he seemed releaved once he no longer had the belt sinched around him, or the boots on his aching feet. He then felt the familiar sensation of his pants behind pulled down and he lifted his hips so Jakra could work better. It was a trick she had learned to help him relax after a hard day, giving him a nice blow job as he drifted off to sleep.

His genitals had matured quite a bit over the last 3 years. His sack was large enough that she needed both paws to hold it, and when fully aroused, his dick reached 6 inches in length, 2 inches in thickness across most of it, but when his knot was fully swolen, it was 3 inches at the base.

He closed his eyes and let his body relax as he felt her nuzzling and caressing his groin, his arousal beginning to stir. The last thing he felt before sleep took him was hot, otter lips wrapping around his wolf dick.

Jakra heard the gentle sounds of snoring as her master had passed out, yet she continued to pleasure him, ensuring he would be receiving pleasant dreams by the time she was done.

She bobbed her head along the length, using her paws to tickle and massage his balls, his body slowly fidgeting in its sleep as she pleased him, his tail wagging. She continued to work as she saw his knot gradually swelling, and once it had finally reached its full size, his body siezed up and he came inside her muzzle. She deep throated him as far as she could, making sure not to stain the bed or his legs with any wasted sperm. She lay there swallowing each new spurt until finally, his knot began to soften up, indicating his climax was nearing an end.

With that, she slowly pulled herself off and lay down next to the wolf, drifting off to bed as well. A compassionate "Good night, master." was muttered before she closed her eyes and sleep took her.

Anthropia Chapter 4

Well, it had been a long trip, but eventually, Jakra, Valo, and Moon successfully made it to the recall point, and Moon was rather disappointed with it. He expected something more extravagant, but what he got instead looked rather unimpressive. ...
