This is my first piece in a long time. I feel very confident about it and am planning somewhat of a series. Not too long. Anyways, this is the first installment. I hope you enjoy. And i appreciate any comments or critiscism.

A Second Opportunity. Part 1.

It was late by normal standards for this event. It was almost 8:30 at night. The cold night air blew harshly against the convertible top of the black Ford Mustang traveling down the road. A light rain pattered against the window of the car as it sped toward its destination. The weather only dampened one of the passenger's moods even further as they got closer and closer to where he couldn't stand to be.

"Gah. Dammit mom. Why do you have to drag me to these damn things?" A five-foot four-inch tall anthro red fox complains.

"Because you need to get out of the house. You spend so much time locked up in your room on your computer."

The red fox looks down at his body, and while he hates to, he admits that he is getting a little on the pudgy side. His white furred belly jutting just a little past his jeans. Completely confident about his looks though, he wears a plain black t-shirt that cuts off just above his mid riff and the sleeves have that torn off look, showing off his semi-muscular arms. He looks up at his mother, a likewise anthro, red fox who shares many similarities with her son. Her standing only a mere few inches taller than him and her voluptuous chest are the only discernible differences. She's dressed in a black, thigh-length silk dress that accentuates her cleavage, even for her slightly-below average size

"I really wish you would've dressed a little more formal. This is supposed to be a fundraiser for your school." she sighs at him and chuckles as she drives.

"I'm sorry mom but how many times do I have to say I don't care about this school. I really just wish the year was over. That place is horrible." he sighs and slumps into his seat.

"Kevin. I told you not to talk that way. Your school is going to get you into a good college and give you a good life."

"Whatever. Its just one roadblock I can't wait to be around." Kevin pulls out his iPod and inserts the earbuds before turning on his favorite Three Days Grace playlist.

His mother, Marcie, just sighs and continues driving until they reach the convention center where the event is being held. She pulls up close to the building and taps her son on the shoulder.

"Come on buddy. We're here." she starts to make her way inside.

Kevin sighs and puts his iPod away before following her inside. For detesting everything about his school, he had to admit they did a fairly decent job with decorations. There were a few other teens there that he knew from his class and many that he didn't. All were dressed up very nicely. He sighed as he moved about the room, mingling, greeting those he knew and introducing himself to a few that decided to greet him. Discreetly, he makes his way through the crowd of furs and humans to the back of the building where a thick curtain was closed as a sign of 'do not enter'.

Disregarding the subtle warning by the employees, Kevin slips behind the curtain and away from the throng of people. He sighs as he pulls out small, white box and flips it open to pull out a cigarette. He sighs as he puts it in his mouth and lights up.

'Keeping this from mom is such a pain in the ass.' he thought as he took a puff from the burning roll. He didn't like smoking but it gave him the comfort he wanted at times such as this. Surrounded by fancy strangers, most of them older than him; some couples, most deciding to make their affection public. He shuddered as he pictured all the sights that he couldn't stand and that this place seemed to embody.

The fur on his neck stood on end and he froze solid as his sensitive ears heard footsteps echoing in the empty hallway. He hastily threw the cig onto the floor and smashed it under the sole of his sneaker. Realizing the smell of the tobacco hung cloyingly in the air around him, he silently hoped that the approaching being was a human or fur with a horrible sense of smell. He then cursed his luck as his hopes weren't fulfilled.

Approaching him was a sight that completely dumbfounded him. A gorgeous white wolf came walking down the hallway in a tight black dress that complemented the white fur perfectly. Kevin couldn't keep his eyes from roaming the newcomer's body. He noticed that the dress ended at knee length where matching black stockings traveled down the remaining length to her feet than ended in white high heels. Her chest was a little on the flat side but the dress hugged in such a way that it showed off the cleavage perfectly. He couldn't deny that everything about this girl screamed 'gorgeous' to him. She had a smile on her muzzle as she approached him.

"Hi there. I thought I could smell cigarette smoke. Now I know from who." she giggles. "My name is Aaron. Nice to meet you...uh?"

"K- Kevin. Ummm...I don't want to sound entirely rude but...did you want something?"

"Actually yes. Do you have another cig? I'm getting a little craving but accidentally left mine at home." taking off her heels, she leans on the wall beside him.

Kevin nodded and dug into his pocket again to produce the carton but found there was only one left. He pulled it out and offered it to Aaron.

"Oh I couldn't possibly take your last one. Hey, how about we split it?" she takes the roll from his hand and pulls the lighter out of his other. She sticks the cig into her mouth and starts the end, taking a puff before offering it back to Kevin.

At first he hesitates, unsure about sharing a cigarette with a stranger but he then remembers that it was his roll. He shrugs, take it back and inhales a bit himself.

"So whatcha doing back here big boy?"

The comment makes Kevin blush a little bit.

"Umm, kinda hiding from the party. It just doesn't suit me. I can't stand fancy events and crowds. They weird me out."

"Same here. And secretly I was hoping to run into someone as cute as you." she giggles. "So tell me about yourself stud. What are your interests?"

Her constant compliments are something that he wasn't used to and once again they cause him to blush under his fur and look away slightly embarrassed. He starts talking about some video games and unsurprisingly she doesn't know most of the titles, though a few she said she played and enjoyed. The subject then turns to music and TV. Finding they have the same taste in both, and even that Three Days Grace is their favorite band.

As time wears on and the cig wears down, they grudgingly say their goodbyes after stamping out the remains of the smoldering paper and tobacco. Before leaving though, Aaron quickly hands Kevin a slip of folded paper and kisses his cheek before hurrying off. He opens the paper to find it contains her number with a heart beside it and a note under it saying "call me". He couldn't keep the thought about the strange white wolf out of his head as he rejoined the last few minutes of the party.

As the school faculty let the principal of the school close out with a speech that most people nearly fell asleep to while standing, Marcie scanned the crowd for her son. He wasn't too hard to find considering his outfit. She noticed that he seemed to have a little more of a cheery air around him. He was smiling and looked like he was daydreaming about something.

'Or someone.' Marcie couldn't help but smile broadly at that thought. She did her best to focus on the speech but she couldn't help daydreaming too. The droning old mouse on stage finally wrapped up everything and people started to file out of the convention center.

Kevin managed to weave his way through the mingled furs and humans to make it back to his mother. Together they joined the throng heading outside and made tracks to their car. Marcie turned her attention on her son.

"So. Did you have a good time?" she smiles at him.

"Surprisingly, I did." he smiles to himself.

"See. Aren't you glad I convinced you to come?" her nose twitches involuntarily.

"Yes, I am. It was well worth it."

"Now I have a question for you. Why do you smell like smoke?"

"Oh. I bumped into one of the employees smoking and the crowd was too thick for me to get back through." he fidgets slightly but gives no other indication of something wrong.

"Ah. Okay. I see. When we get home, get out of those clothes so I can get rid of that smell."

"Alright mom."

They climb into the convertible again and begin the slow drive back home where Kevin can finally relax and figure out why this girl is stuck in his mind...

A Few Hours Later

Kevin lies in his bed wide awake, even after laying there for hours trying to go to sleep. He had tried everything he could, since he got home, to distract himself from the thought of the white wolf at the party. Video gaming, writing, even pawing off a time or two......or three - nothing worked and the pure thought of her still invaded his mind. He rolled onto one side, then the other, then back to his back before finally sitting up and groaning and flinging his paws up in frustration.

"Why can't I get that girl out of my head. We had one conversation. I've never seen her before and I don't even know where she goes to school." Kevin turned and let his foot-paws dangle over the edge of the bed. "What about her is so enchanting I can't focus?"

Finally giving up on trying to go to sleep, he stood out of bed and crept his way past his mother's room. Reaching the living room, he decided to sprawl out on the couch and watch some TV. He grabs the remote and thumbs it on, sighing as the first thing to come up on it was a porn channel. He knew his mother had been watching again and he couldn't help but feel anything besides sorrow for her. Since his father left them, she hasn't been laid once. She refuses to go out and have a one night stand just on principle. She would rather be married again before she would mate. He just pitied her, respecting her wishes and not pressing the matter because she was all he had left.

He changed the channel to something with little point than violence, sex and more violence. Eventually settling on Machete. For a while, it dulled his mind but it began to drift again very soon. His thoughts drifted back to the party and with those came the thoughts of the wolf-girl. Their conversation over his last cig. And most important in his mind, his wandering eyes as she first walked up to him. Unlike while he laid in his bed, he didn't fight the thoughts this time. Soon they drifted from the thoughts on his memories, to a dreamlike state. He saw them both in a restaurant, laughing over a delicious dinner. Then they were sitting together on a park bench just laughing and talking. Another they were seeing a movie. He realized how cheesy romantic these dreams were but he really didn't care. That was the kind of thing he liked. Eventually, the thoughts had him relaxed enough he fell into a deep sleep.

Across Town

Aaron sat on the bed, looking down at the cell phone on the sheets. Nothing. No text, no call, no sign of any sort that said that Kevin might have been interested. She was sure that enough signals were sent that would have made him interested.

"Maybe he just forgot. Maybe his phone is dead. Why am I worried? There are plenty of things that could've happened that he couldn't talk. And I only just met him. Calm down and get a grip."

She sighed and set the phone on the nightstand beside the bed. Straightening out the nightgown, Aaron slid under the sheets, silently praying that Kevin would call. He seemed like everything she was looking for. Sweet, handsome, same interests and to top it off, a fox. That filled all the needed requirements and a bonus. Aaron smiled and giggled.

"Yeah. Be happy. I'm sure he'll call. Now I'm getting myself excited just thinking about it."

Another giggle sounded throughout the room. Aaron grinned widely at the thought of finally having a boyfriend. She was so excited she thought she wouldn't even get to sleep. Thoughts of finally having a stud to call her own drove her wild and giddy like a little school girl. It took about an hour's worth of fantasies and giggling before all the excitement finally died from her system, leaving her with just a yawn in its place. Still, the thoughts of dates didn't leave her mind and her dreams ran parallel to Kevin's. Soon, both were fast asleep, dreaming of each other and happiness that comes with a true and deep connection to someone else...

Monday- Two Days after the Party

School on Mondays could not go by any slower. Especially for Kevin. He had finally made up his mind. As soon as he left school and started the walk home, he was gonna call Aaron. His entire weekend was filled with daydreams about her. No matter what he did, he would most likely zone out and imagine her sharing the moment with him. Almost like what was happening in this class. He was so far gone he didn't hear the teacher calling his name until too late and taking a drop in his grade plus a detention. He sighed and went on with class like nothing had happened but as soon as the bell rang he was out the door, cursing his luck. "That's bad luck man. What had you so zoned out?" Seth, a Siberian Husky and Kevin's best friend, walked up and clapped him on the shoulder.

"Its nothing man. I was just bored and daydreaming. But still.....damn it. This just sucks."

"I'll say. Come on man. Its lunch period now. Let's get a move on before we miss out on the good food."

Kevin nodded and fished his phone from his pocket. The first thing he did was send a message to his mom about the detention and to just come an hour later than usual.

She sent back one of those messages that just made you feel worse than flat out being mad. "We'll talk about it later." He hanged his head and continued down the hallway to the cafeteria. When he and Seth arrived, it was already loud with conversations among the furs and humans alike. After waiting in the ungodly long line at the counter, the pair finally managed to get their food and head to their usual seats alone at the end of a table.

"Now that we have some relative privacy, I can just flat out say it. I've known you long enough, man, that I can tell something else is up. You never zone out like that unless something serious is on your mind. And that's hardly ever. So spill it alright?" Seth went off, looking Kevin dead in the eyes with a serious look.

Kevin sighed, hoping to not have had to talk about this until he had himself straightened out about it. But if Seth wanted to know something, he would never shut up about it and would end up finding out eventually. In order to avoid annoyance for the rest of the day, he went ahead and told Seth about the party, Aaron, them splitting the cigarette, and her giving him his number. Then he explained that he was zoning out because he couldn't stop the thought of her from running rampant in his mind.

At the start of the story, Seth had a stern expression, one that said he wanted to help. But after Kevin delved deeper into the issue, the look changed from one of hard to one of amusement.

"That's it?! A girl?" Seth suddenly burst out laughing, only causing Kevin to blush deep crimson. "Man. I'm sorry but you have to be completely new to this if you were so focused on one chick."

"Damn it, Seth. You know what happened with my ex. And, its something about this one. No matter what I do, I can't keep her out of my head."

Seth just chuckles again. "Looks like someone wants to get in bed with a lucky girl huh?"

"Alright. You know what? I can't talk to you about this. You're not helpful at all." Kevin stood, leaving most of his food relatively untouched and made his way to the exit of the cafeteria. Seth was left sitting in his seat, wondering if he did something wrong. The wondering didn't last long as he chased down his friend and caught him in the hallway.

"Alright, man. I'm sorry. I've just never met someone who got this distracted by one girl."

Kevin sighs. "I guess you're right. Its just so distracting. No matter what I do, I always go back to thinking about her. And if something does distract me well enough, I'll suddenly start thinking that we're having fun doing the same thing."

"Now that, is something I haven't heard from anyone. Usually if one of my buds have a girl they think about, its about them getting lucky with her."

"I know. But that hasn't even crossed my mind. And even if that tries to happen, I feel sick about it."

"I don't know what to really say here man. You're the first one I've ever heard say this has happened to them."

"Its enough just for you to listen. Thanks man."

The bell rang again, signaling the end of lunch and their return to class. Just like all Monday classes, even the end of the day classes went by slowly. After two naps through boring classes and another daydreaming session, it finally came time for him to suffer through detention. He made his way back to the room of the teacher that gave him detention. When he got there, he would have paled in color if his fur wasn't in the way. With him in detention were the three people he hated most. One was a short human with a crew cut. While not physically abusive, Kevin hated him because of his remarks. He couldn't do anything but sit there and take it in stride.

The next on the list was a sports jock. A spackled brown horse that was the star athlete in the school but failed almost everything academically. The only reason he even passed is because he already had been scouted for a major team and the teacher's wanted a good school record for sports this year. He was the physically abusive one and picked on Kevin every day after a tough game, the teams somehow lost, or just when he felt like it.

Finally, in Kevin's opinion, was the worst. A female Siamese cat sat between them both. His ex girlfriend and their girl toy. He couldn't stand the sight. He knew she was with them, and he hated it. But he felt sorrier for the two guys. While it was no secret she screwed around with both of the guys beside her, it was also no secret she would fuck anything that had a pulse. Whether guys, girls with toys, herms, it didn't matter to her. What caused his animosity towards her were multiple things. When they first started dating, she was sweet, innocent and loving. But not too far along, she changed and started being controlling. She started bailing on their dates, always using the same excuse, that she had other plans. But because she was his first girlfriend, he gave her the benefit of the doubt. Eventually it became too much and he dumped her. It was when he did that, that she showed her true colors. Whenever she bailed, she was screwing someone. Then she revealed that she had never liked him in the first place. She had only wanted someone that she could fall back on if any of her other 'plans' flaked on her.

The real kicker came when, after they broke up, she spread a rumor around that he was gay. Everyone immediately believed it because they knew he had never gotten lucky with her. What little of his reputation he had was tarnished and destroyed.

He couldn't help but seethe with hate but also shrink away in fear. He took a seat as far away from the other three as possible. The teacher stood and wrote down an assignment on the marker board before walking out of the room. The instant the door shut, Kevin cursed his luck. All three turned toward him with cruel intent on their faces.

"Well, look who's here. Just who we wanted to see." the human spoke.

"Finally. Something we can pound. I've been needing to hit something all day." the horse chimed in.

"Hey there you little faggot. Its been a while. Glad to see us?" the cat mocked him.

"Just leave me alone guys. Come on. You're already in detention."

"So what? That's as far as I get anytime. The teachers would rather keep their sports record than risk it by making me miss games."

"Shut up, Daniel. No one cares about your immunity." the cat quipped back in.

"And you shut your mouth, Sarah. I didn't say you could talk anyway." the human commanded.

"Fuck you, Ben." Sarah bit back.

"No. I'll fuck you later." Ben, the human, turns his attention back to Kevin. "So, you got trapped with your worst nightmares. How's it feel?"

Kevin felt like a trapped rat. He wasn't so much scared as he was apprehensive. At least of Ben and Sarah. He was actually afraid of Daniel.

"Can we just stop talking already? I wanna hit something." The horse pounded a first into an open palm.

"Hey, let us have our fun while he isn't unconscious. We don't get your privilege." Sarah dismissed.

The next forty-five minutes were spent with Sarah and Ben taking turns, insulting him. They went all across the board, from calling him a bastard child all the way up to the gay rumor and even mentioning that Daniel and Ben were screwing Sarah while she dated Kevin. That one drove him across the edge. He was able to take everything else in stride but at that, he rose out of his seat quickly and his fist connected with the underside of Ben's jaw.

"Fuck you, asshole. And you too you two timing bitch." he couldn't follow up on his head start because Daniel was out of reach and he had a policy of never hitting a girl.

Ben lay on the ground, raised up on one hand, the other trying to fix a dislocated jaw. Daniel immediately set in on Kevin, picked him up by his clothes with one hand and pinned him against the wall.

"Wrong move asshole." Ben said from his sitting position.

At that, Daniel swung one huge fist up into Kevin's gut, knocking the wind from him. The other hand let him go and Kevin slumped to the floor, holding his stomach. Suddenly, a hooved foot swung up into Kevin's side, again taking the wind out of his lungs and also knocking him a few feet away. Daniel stood over him, leaned down to sneer in his face before snorting and laughing.

"You are so damn pathetic. You can only get in one cheap shot before you get cracked."

Sarah and Ben started laughing too before, standing on both sides of the imposing horse. Quickly, he felt the sharp point of Sarah's heel slam into his gut again, then Ben's foot came crashing into his head, nearly causing him to black out. They all take their turns kicking and beating him until he was black and blue. By the time they were done, he was curled in a fetal position, whimpering and protecting himself. All three just sneered again and went back to their seats. As they walked away, Kevin accidentally caught a glimpse of Ben's paw, lifting Sarah's dress, showing her pantieless underside. The sight made Kevin's stomach churn.

Kevin couldn't pick himself up off the floor he was so battered. He just laid there, reflecting on what he could possibly have done to deserve this treatment. Finally, the dismissal bell for detention rang and the three others filed out of the room.

Staying true to his strain of bad luck, the teacher never bothered to show up again after he left so there was no one to help him or even believe that those three beat the ever loving crap out of him. He pulled himself to his feet and somehow managed to keep himself upright. He began limping his way to the exit and hopefully to safety. Thankfully, by a miracle, Sara, Ben and Daniel had already left. He breathed a heavy sigh of relief and hurried along as fast as he could to get to his mother's car.

Marcie was getting a little impatient with her son for making her wait even longer than detention was for. She was already upset enough as it was for him to have to serve detention, especially after going so far along this year without one. But her impatience and her disappointment vanished when she saw Kevin come limping out of the front door toward her. She was immediately out of the car and at his side, practically carrying him.

"What happened sweetie?" her voice full of concern.

"Ben, Sarah and Daniel happened. They all had detention too, the teacher left and they took out their frustration on me. Teacher never came back to top it off."

Marcie was extremely concerned for her son's well-being. He looked more beaten than just a scuffle. It looked to her more like they hazed him. She got him loaded into the car quickly and made her way to the hospital.

"Mom. I'm fine. I don't need to see the doctor."

"Yes. You do. You're limping, everywhere on you is swollen. It looks like your eye is even swelling shut."

"I...guess you're right. It might be safer."

She supported him as they walked inside and the instant the clerk behind the desk saw, they had a wheelchair for him and had him rushed into an examination room. Marcie sat with Kevin until the doctor came in and he immediately had him back into the wheelchair. The nurse took him out of the room and the doctor stayed behind for a minute.

"He looks pretty bad. We're going to take some X-rays and do a CT-scan to see if any serious damage was done."

"Thank you doctor."

Quickly the human was out of the room, leaving Marcie alone to think about what she was going to do about those kids and this medical bill.

It took about an hour and a half for the doctor to bring Kevin back. When he did, Kevin was slumped over in the chair, half asleep. Marcie immediately looked worried and hurried to her son's side.

"Don't worry mam. He's only asleep. We gave him a light sedative to help with the pain. Now, we have the X-Rays here." The elderly human said, taking out the pictures and placing them on the viewing lights. "His major issues are one broken and three cracked ribs. Whatever happened did a number on him."

"I know that. I can see that much. Just tell me what I need to do to take care of him." Marcie's irritation showing.

"Don't worry, miss. There is a volunteer group here that specializes in aiding in care and treatment for injuries like this. One has been assigned to him already. We will need him to stay overnight so we can explain things to him. And he can also meet his assistant in the morning."

Marcie sighed, somewhat in relief and somewhat in disappointment. She was disappointed that she couldn't care for her own son on her own but she was relieved in knowing she would have help. The doctor had some extra pillows and blankets brought in for her. She settled in for a long night watching her son.

The Next Day

Kevin awoke with a start and started to sit up quickly but an instant pain in his sides forced him back onto his back. His arm instinctively wrapped around his sides.

"Damn this hurts." He looked down at his bandaged wrapped sides, the memories of the pain yesterday brought returned to him unbidden. He sighed and settled back into the hospital bed. Wait....that wasn't right. He should have been home.

'Was I really beaten that badly?' he thought to himself. He looked around the room and sure enough he was in the hospital. He spotted his mother asleep on the couch next to the window.

"Mom. Mom, wake up."

Marcie stirred a little and slowly came to.

"Oh, Kevin, you're awake." she yawned and stretched a bit, getting back to her feet. "How do you feel?"

"Like hell. What did the doctor say? He put me under before I could hear."

Marcie gave a detailed explanation of the doctor's diagnosis, leaving Kevin in a little more depressed state then he started in.

"Damn..... And the worst part is, we can't do anything about those assholes. We have no proof that they did this."

"I know. But I'll figure something out. I promise you that those kids won't get away with this."

The door to the room suddenly opened and on the other side was the last someone that Kevin expected, or even hoped, to see in this condition. A familiar looking white wolf was backing in the door, tail wagging behind her. It was Aaron.

"Oops. You're awake. Sorry to barge in like this. I'm Aaron. I'm your recovery ass...is...tant." she slowed down as she realized who her charge was. "Kevin? Is that you?"

Marcie was left completely confused.

"Aaron? You're my assistant?"

"Hang on. Hang on. Slow down you two. You know each other?" Marcie interrupted.

Kevin smiled a genuine smile again, one he hadn't since the party, and it was directed at Aaron. He then turned to his mother and explained that they met during the school fundraiser party, leaving out the sneaking away to an employee only area and splitting a cigarette.

Marcie herself couldn't help but smile. "Well, what a coincidence meeting again like this."

"I would say. I would ask the usual 'how have you been' but I read your file."

"That doesn't really matter. We just have more than an hour or two to get to know each other more now." Kevin joked.

"I guess we will."

Aaron spent the next hour helping Kevin get cleaned up, changing his bandages and helping him into his clothes, all of which equated into a chore due to the injuries. Thankfully he had some range of motion available. Timing was perfect though because right as they finished, the doctor came into the room with Kevin's release forms.

"Mam, if you could just sign these please, we can get you and your son home."

"Of course." Marcie stood and followed the doctor out into the hall, looking over her shoulder to the kids and giving them a smile before nearly closing the door behind her.

Aaron helped Kevin sit down again without hurting himself, then sat beside him. "Its not exactly good practice for me to ask my patients this but I feel its warranted. What happened?"

"Bully's at school. Mostly a horse. All muscle, no brain. And a damn cat in high heels."

"What did you do to set them off?"

"We've all had a longstanding feud. It's just spiraled out of control now."

"I'm sorry to hear that, cutie. I really am. I can't see how anyone would hate you."

Kevin blushes but manages to keep it down. "It's possible though."

Aaron smiled up at him. "You know, its funny. We met for all of what? An hour? And I've missed you like mad since that party."

"Speaking of, I was about to call you before this happened. And now I have a question for you. You were at a school fundraiser function, but I never see you around the school. Do you go to mine?" "I used to. A long time ago. Like way back in elementary. I was only there that night because I still have friends that go there. I wanted to catch up. But instead I got sidetracked by you." Aaron is all smiles as that is said.

"I'm sorry if I upset anyone. But I am very glad we met that night. Once this is passed and I'm all healed up, would you like to do something?" "I'll be seeing you a lot more than most would think. But if you would like to do something else on the side then I will gladly take you up on that."

About twenty minutes passed as Marcie finished up all the annoying paperwork for Kevin's release. After a slightly strenuous job of getting Kevin carefully situated into his mom's car so nothing would aggravate his injuries, they were on their way home, with Aaron following right behind them. It was a fairly short drive and, without incident, Marcie pulled into the driveway.

Moving Kevin was getting steadily easier and they swiftly had him inside the house. One they had him settled into the couch, Marcie gave Aaron the grand tour. Once she knew she had a lay of the house, Aaron went back downstairs to Kevin and sat on the couch next to him.

"Nice place." she smiled at him.

"Yeah. Its cozy."

The pair sat and chatted for a good while until it was late at night. Aaron helped Kevin get to his room upstairs and sat him on the bed. Kevin needed something and blushed at the thought of even asking for it.

"Aaron...?"

"Yeah, cutie?"

"Umm...I really need to get cleaned up but can't really handle myself."

Aaron turned and giggled cutely at the embarrassed fox.

"No need to be embarrassed, Kevin. You know I've helped people do this before right?"

"Doesn't help the fact that someone else is gonna see me naked." he looks down in sheer embarrassment.

"I'll do what I can to help and not sneak any peaks, okay? No promises though." she teases the poor fox.

Kevin's ears wilt with even more red overtaking his face. He manages to get to his feet on his own and limps to the bathroom. Aaron follows behind him, hands near to catch him in case something were to happen. Thankfully without incident, the pair reach the washroom. Aaron sets about getting towels ready while Kevin uses his limited movement of his arms to undo his pants as his only article of clothing. Slowly he lets them slide down revealing his red and blue briefs. Once the water is adjusted to a comfortable temperature, Aaron turned to see the embarrassed fox standing in his braces and briefs and couldn't help but giggle. Kevin, extremely timid from his exposure only turns away, leaving his back to Aaron. She once again just giggles and walks up behind Kevin and slips her thumbs into his waistband to slide down the briefs.

"I'm not going to look at you. I'm just going to help you in and then help you wash up."

Kevin nods and steps out of the pile of clothes and hobbles his way into the bath. As he sinks into the water, he relaxes a little as the warm water soothes the pain and aches of his muscles. Aaron smiles warmly at the sight and kneels beside the tub, grabbing a cloth and shampoo. Carefully she begins the work of cleaning the injured canid. Easily and more businesslike than teasing, Aaron has her fox clean, all except for one major part.

"Only one spot left to clean. Do you want me to or can you do it?" "I think I can manage." Kevin takes the cloth and Aaron looks away as he finishes cleaning the final spot.

"Ok. I'm done." Aaron smiles at him and reaches in to let out the water before helping him stand and step out. Once again in a more businesslike fashion, she grabs a towel and begins to dry off the soaking fur in front of her. After making sure he was entirely dry, she helped him slip into his clothes and limp to bed.

"Aaron, as embarrassed as I was, thank you."
