Every decision changes every thing.

When a coin is flipped, the world splits, in two.

When a die is rolled, the world fractures, in six.

And as the quanta bubbling under every act, thought and chance writhe.. the world dances, in a trillion to the power trillion, to the power trillion-trillion shatter.

All that could be.. comes to pass here, or somewhere else.

All that could of been, was realised. In another place.

And all the things that never had a chance.. is beyond even all of this.

The Earth, froze.

A woman halts mid sentence as she cleans her dishes, poised in place. Suds dance upon a plate in her hands.

And the Earth, froze.

A boy chases a ball into an empty street. The rubber surface of the round object plays upon the rough concrete.

The Earth froze.

A cell shakes with electrical charge. It vibrates. Ready, two partnered cells vie for a chance.

The cosmos slowed.

A trickle emanates between a clust of quanta. It dances, moves. It is everywhere, nowhere, everywhere again, pulsing with the rythm of existance, honing, focused, lost, solid, mist, here.

Now.

Omniverse bows.

A silence, as everything, everywhere, splits. Gold atom, gingivitas, golf ball, George Bush, Gettesburgh, Georgia, Gulf of Mexico.

Earth.

Sol.

The Milky Way.

A small boy jogs harder.

A small boy strolls to a stop.

He looks down at his dog.

He looks back at his school.

The dog barks. It pants.

The dog sits quietly.

"C'mon Moll', it's getting late."

"I think one more block."

Shatter.

Adia Learns

The pillows were warm from the lingering heat of the midday sun. The lape writhed and rubbed her face on the fabric. They smelled of friends. "Hey there, A'." She leapt a foot in the air and looked about, before raising her face to meet the eyes of...

Ringy Runs

'Dreff coughed. And coughed. And hacked. And coughed. "Frackit, can't sleep." Ringy rolled out of bed like a coil of steel. The useless little spot mumbled something and snuggled into the warm spot she left in the covers. Fie. She was too cute,...

On Tv

"Dude." The layphon didn't move. He was tired. Close calls, consistent drains on his ard, the scare with Adia. He remained flattened on his stomach, wings haphazardly splayed out to almost hug the boulder he had draped himself over, great head in his...
