In the Beginning (Confusion)
#3 of View From Heaven
Please read: Before I move on with the story, I thought that maybe I'd try something different. (This will be a two-parter _) Go back in time and see through the eyes of another character (Jeff). I thought that it'd be good to see what it was like in high school for Jeff. How he came to meet with Craig and Ken. Moreover, is the relationship between Jeff and Ken. We all know what happens (If you read pt 2 that is [which I recommend you read first {at the very least do that} to understand what's going on {though it's possible to still be confused}]). However, even with that knowledge, you have to wonder what Ken was like. This is also a chance to go back and see what Jeff was like. How his personality may or may not have changed. By the way, Jeff is 5' 5" and he is only 15, I don't mention it during the story so I thought you'd like to know. Also, Ken is same height but a few months younger (which makes him 14) (Jeff's birthday is in February, Ken's is in November, Craig...his is in April [and he's 15 btw]). The Moar You Know. As a side note, forgive me for the first sentence of the story.

In the Beginning (Confusion)
Lifehouse "Who We Are"
Live my life around a picture
Taken when we met
Spending all of my time
Chasing your silhouette
For all we go through
I don't wanna change you
It's my mind running in reverse
Trying not to forget
Who we were
Where it's at
Here we go
And we break and we burn
And we turn it inside out
To take it back to the start
And through the rise and falling apart
We discover who we are
Struggling with my thoughts
Change the locks inside my head
Reading between the lines
Of what you say, and what you said
I turn the radio on
To drown me out
Driving through the night to nowhere
Trying to forget
Who we were
And where it's at
Here we go
And we break and we burn
And we turn it inside out
To take it back to the start
And through the rise and falling apart
We discover who we are
And it's all
To the wind
It's all
In our hands
It's all
To the wind
It's all
In our hands

'First day of high school, I already feel awkward and out of place.' I thought as I walked into my new school. This might have been fine in my old town, but of course, my parents had to get a transfer from their jobs to this new town, over 200 miles away, where I don't know anyone. It wasn't really their fault though, I know that if it were up to them we'd still be back at our old house and I'd be with all my old friends and we'd start high school together. Now I had to meet all new furs and try to make new friends. A pain in the ass that I didn't really want.
I stood at the entrance to the main building, off to the side as to not obstruct the entryway. Our move had been so sudden that I was only registered to the school system yesterday so I had to grab my schedule from the office. So, as much as this _looked_ like it might hold the office...I could be wrong. I didn't really feel like doing any of this, I kind of just wanted to go home and skip today, maybe get some more unpacking done while my parents were at work. I sighed as I watched another fur, a beagle I guess, go in through the door and decided to slip in through the door after him.
The inside of the building was relatively small, it was just a hallway that had two other hallways branching off to the left and right and a small stairway that led to the second floor. To the left, opposite one of the hallways, was a set of double doors, to where they led I didn't know. There was also another set of doors strait ahead of me, both had glass windows that showed that they lead out to the courtyard. Out there was the gathering of the masses, so to speak. In here, there were but a few students talking.
I could have asked any one of these furs where the office was, but I decided to just look for it myself. I'm not stubborn, I just don't do well with new people, but I had been working on that. I just didn't feel like testing my confidence right now.
I decided to take a right, and just my luck, found a doorway next to the stairway that had the words "ATTENDANCE OFFICE" over it. I couldn't help but smile to myself, feeling that this was a sign of good luck. I approached the door and reached out to grab the knob, but before I could it opened up and hit me in the muzzle. As I felt the pain my only thought was 'Oh, fuck me and my great luck!' I suppressed a cry and made an audible whine as I rubbed my now aching muzzle.
I realized my vision was blurred within moments and I tried to shake it off. Suddenly and orange and black blur came into view and I heard it said. "Oh shit, sorry bud, didn't know you were there. You okay?"
"Um...maybe," I said, slightly strained. My vision was clearing, but not enough, I still couldn't make out who or what was in front of me.
My paw was suddenly grabbed and moved, but not forcefully, away from my muzzle. The same blob then said, "Well, you don't look all that badly damaged, you're not bleeding." He then rubbed my nose softly and I winced at the sudden touch. "Dunno much about broken bones, but I don't think I hit you hard enough to break that strong muzzle of yours." I found that last comment to be unusual, but I didn't pay it much mind, I was to busy trying to see strait. I finally got enough of my vision back so I could see. What I saw was a smirking tiger, who had to have the greenest eyes I had ever seen.
"Well that's good to know," I said, raising an eyebrow slightly, "It'd be pretty bad to get something broken on my first day of high school."
"Oh cool, you're a freshman? Me too." He kept his face within inches of mine, making me feel like he was crowding me. The fact that he was taller by a few inches didn't help either. "Heh, sorry bout almost decking you with the door." He grinned nervously back at me and I just shrugged, giving my nose a little rub.
"I think that could have gone a lot worse." 'Could have knocked me on my ass,' I thought to myself. "Plus, you didn't see me there so I don't think you did it on purpose."
"Weeeellll, you gotta point there, but I still feel bad..." He shifted his backpack, which is the first time I had noticed it hanging off his shoulders. Suddenly I felt naked without a backpack and a little underprepared.
"You could tell me if this is where I can get my schedule," I said suddenly, "that'll make up for hitting me with the door."
It was his turn to raise his eyebrow, "Why don't you have your schedule?"
I knew that there was a reason why I reframed from asking that. "Eh...See, I'm new to town. My family and I just moved here and I am anything but prepared."
His eyes widened slightly, "Wow, that sucks. So you know no one here?"
I just shook my head, and before I knew what was happening, my paw was grabbed by the tigers and he said with a wide smile, "Well now you know someone. My names Craig." He then proceeded to shake my hand happily.
"I'm Jeff..." I said, slightly dumbfounded by his sudden happiness. I was also a little thrown for how fast he went from random tiger that hit me with a door, to a friend. As soon as he stopped assaulting my hand, I said, "But, why?"
He laughed, "Well, I like having friends. The more the merrier. And I'm sure that you like to have friends too, so I don't see why not. Unless you have a problem with it."
"Well...no, not really." I said, giving him a smile back. I liked the idea of making a friend this fast, even if it did take a two-by-four to the face for it to happen. The negative was vastly outweighed by the positive in this case.
"Well good. Then let's get you your schedule, Jeff, and I'll introduce you to my friends. Which, you'll be happy to hear, are many and I'm sure you'll get along with." He then put his arm around my shoulder and led me into the Attendance office.
After a few minutes of the receptionist looking for my name in the registry and then printing out my schedule, I was being led to the lunchroom. We still had a few minutes before classes began, so I Craig thought it would be a good idea to show me to his friends. I noticed that the whole school was divided into groups of furs. It seemed kind of random to me, but most cliques were. Back in middle school it was just me and a few close fiends. I guess we could have been considered a 'clique', but it didn't feel like it to me. 'Maybe this is how it is in high school,' I thought. I didn't really care though, I just wanted to be with someone I can call friend. Titles are meaningless to me.
I winced when we entered the lunchroom as my ears were filled with the random noise inside. Everyone talking to each other at the same time in order to be heard, each talking louder than the other. I folded my ears back and fought back the urge to cover my ears with my paws. The sound was annoying at best, but I was quickly getting used to it relatively quickly. The room was filled with huge fold-up tables that could seat sixteen, if everyone sat on the little stools that were attached to them. Though some of them were filled with as many as twenty, and even more crowding around one or two of them.
I was led to a table on the opposite end of the lunchroom and I saw that the table he took me too had ten furs seated there. They all simultaneously turned and gave Craig a happy welcome. Most waving, but a few got up and hugged the tiger. This one black female wolf even turned to me and said, "Oh, and who are you," she sounded absolutely perky.
As Craig finished hugging another one of his friends he put his arm around me and said, "This is Jeff, and he is the new addition to this table." And then, with a slight rub of the top of my muzzle he said with a chuckle, "I hit him with the door to the office, thought it was only fair."
The black she-wolf and the female giraffe next to her broke out laughing first, followed by the rest of the table. "Oh, nice job ya clutz," the wolf said. "You make the best first impressions don'tcha?"
And I just stood there telling myself that they weren't laughing at me but laughing at Craig. I blushed a little at the attention I was getting from all these new people. I was so sure it'd take me longer than that to get make new friends that this was a pleasant surprise to me, to say the least.
"Oh, hey Craig, when'd you get here?" I heard from behind me.
Before I could turn to see who was there, Craig had already moved me out of his way and said, "Dude, where've ya been all summer?" I turned and saw my new friend hugging a Dalmatian. I could only see his spotted face, but something inside me churned, in a good way. I felt this heat inside me swell up, something I hadn't felt before. When Craig finally released the dog I was able to get a good look at his whole body finally. He was wearing a button up black and white plaid shirt and a pair of jean-shorts. I couldn't help but notice that his legs looked pretty toned, 'Probably a runner,' I thought. I looked up and saw him looking at me, and I could feel myself blush, which I found odd, but I couldn't help myself. I gave him a nervous smile to him and I saw him whisper something to Craig. Craig then turned to me and led the dog over to me and I felt every part of me freeze up, 'What the fuck!?' I thought.
"'Kay, this here is my best bud Ken," he said patting Ken on the back. "And this wolf here is Jeff." He gave me a toothy grin, Ken reached out with his paw, and he said, "Hey, whatsup?"
My body finally decided to work and I shook Ken's paw. "Nothin," was the only response I could come up with.
"Oh c'mon," Craig said, "you aren't doin nuthin, your busy makin friends."
"And to think it only took getting hit by a door to get this far..." I retorted.
Ken giggled, but looked slightly concerned as he said, "Wait, you got hit with a door?"
"Heh, yeah," I made a point to look directly at Craig, which Ken noticed and he looked over at the feline as well. "But at least I got hit by someone nice, or I'd be walking around with no friends right now."
Ken stopped glaring at the nervous-looking tiger as soon as I mentioned I was friendless when I entered this school. "Wait, what about your friends from middle school?"
"Oh, eh..." Right then the bell rang and I was forced to part with them. Before I did, though, Ken took my arm in his paw and said, "How bout you tell me about it at lunch?" I smiled and nodded, and he returned the smile. 'Okay, there's something about him that made me freeze up,' I thought, 'but what is it? I guess I'll just figure it out later.'
Classes are long, and hour and thirty minutes each, but there's only three classes. And lunch is after the second one, which meant a three hour wait, but it wasn't so bad. It was only the first day of school so the teachers were giving us papers to give to our parents and lists for supplies. I wasn't in need of a backpack, but it would have been nice, I'm just glad that neither of my teachers decided to make us take notes. That would have put a damper on the good mood that had suddenly plagued me. I was happy, I didn't know why, but I didn't care.
I walked over to the lunchroom with a wide smile on my face. But before I could get inside I was intercepted by Ken and Craig. They both grabbed me and dragged me off into the English building. I looked between the two and noticed that they were wearing the same identical grin. "What's goin on," I asked them as I they stopped in front of a door.
"Guess what they have at this high school?" Craig asked me excitedly. I looked at him with a questioning look, then to Ken, having no clue what they were getting at. I then looked at the door, trying to think of what could be behind this door that's so important.
"Eh...I have no clue..." I said questioning.
"Heh, well of course he doesn't know Craig," Ken said, nudging Craig, "he just got here. We had time to check the clubs."
"Well," Craig said, "I guess you have a point there my friend. So today is Thursday, which means that there would be a certain club going on. Of course, its also the first day of school, so it might not be happenin right now. We just wanted to drag you along to take a peek." He gave me a wink and moved me with his paws out of the way of the door. He then turned the handle, but it seemed to stick, which most likely meant it was locked. "Well shit, that sucks." Craig said to himself, looking disappointed.
"Darn, thought maybe we could join early or somethin..." Ken said the same disappointed look on his muzzle.
Before I could say anything Craig turned to me, "Oh well, guess they'll be in next week. Lets head back to the lunch room."
As we returned to the lunch room I got a chance to ask my question, "So, what exactly was the club that we were gonna go into back there."
"Oh, just the GSA." Craig answered nonchalantly.
"The what?" I asked, opening the door to the lunchroom, ignoring the noise that the other students were already making.
Craig sighed and Ken said, "Dude, you shouldn't expect everyone to know. Besides, that's sometimes for the best don't you think?"
Craig shrugged, "True, true. Well GSA stands for: Gay Straight Alliance. How's that for an answer."
I had just sat down when he hit me with that revelation. I didn't know what to think about this. I knew what gay was from spoken word, but I never met anyone who was, nor have seen a club for gays. I didn't think, personally, that there was anything wrong with loving the same sex. I didn't understand why they were hated by furs, they were just trying to get by in life how they would like to live it. Or they had no other choice, I wasn't sure, it just seemed pointless to make a fuss over a lifestyle. So I rolled the idea of joining the club in my head and didn't see anything wrong with it. Though it did make me wonder what my parents would think, I'd have to remember to try to sneak the idea into dinner conversation later.
"Well that sounds cool," I said, "so why would you want to join?" I asked Craig and Ken. They were seated on either side of me at the table and were looking at each other.
They held the look for a moment longer before Craig nodded and said, "Because...I'm gay."
If it had been just us three in the lunchroom, it would have been as quiet as if no one was there. I don't know if I was supposed to feel something, because I had known the tiger for less than a day. Yet, I didn't feel any differently towards him. He was still a really nice guy, still the guy that befriended me (after a very laughable incident) still needed to get to know him. 'Okay, why the heck does sexual preference matter again?' I thought.
"Okay," I said simply. "Your still you." I told him.
"Heh, thanks. Sounds good coming from you." He said, though I wondered what he meant.
"So, do you have a...er..."
Both Ken and Craig laughed and the tiger said, "No, I'm currently single. Why? You interested?"
I recoiled a little and moved away from him a little, bumping into Ken. "No, not really," I said quickly.
"C'mon dude, I was just kidding," Craig said to me, poking me in the ribs. I was still pushing against Ken a little and I was wondering why he hadn't told me to get off or pushed me just as he pushed me back into my seat with one paw.
"Shouldn't scare the new guy like that," Ken said, "he's actually on your side with this. You got really lucky with that, don't ruin it."
"Yeah, your right. Sorry bout that Jeff." He then leaned over and gave me a little hug.
"Awww...did I miss the gay hug?" Asked the same she-wolf that I had met earlier.
"Yeah, you did, but I'm sure you'll see more later." Craig said with a slight smile.
"Darn," she exclaimed. She was a strange girl, wanting to actually see two guys hug. It was a first for me.
Craig's face suddenly lit up and he said, "Oh yeah, I never introduced you guys to each other. Jeff, Mary. Mary, Jeff. And if you're wonderin why she said that, she likes yaoi. Don't ask me why, and I recommend you run as fast as you can if you accidentally ask her." He then gave a big, mocking smile to Mary and she growled.
"I don't make a huge deal about it," she then took a swipe at Craig, which was half-hearted at best. He dodged it and laughed, but then he reached over and attempted to pet her, which she quickly swatted away.
I then felt my shoulder being poked and I turned and faced Ken. "So you were saying why you didn't have any friends here."
"Well, my parents got this promotion at their work, and they had to be transferred out here for some reason. It was a two hundred plus mile move so I know no one. We just finished getting everything in the new house yesterday. The only good news about all this is we get a pool." I gave a weak smile, because nothing really made this whole move seem worth it. Well...maybe the new friends...
Ken gave me a smile and he put a paw on my shoulder, "Well, you've got a bunch of friends here to make up for the ones you left behind. And ya know what, how bout I come over to your house and I help you unpack."
I was a little surprised to hear him make that offer. "Really, Ken, you don't have to help me..."
"So, I'd still like to try out that pool of yours." He said giving me a light jab in the chest.
I laughed, "Well okay, if that's really what you want to do then I don't mind. My parents would be happy to see that I made a friend already."
"So do you walk home or not?"
"Yeah, my parents have long work hours and wont be home till later, like I think around dinner."
"Well they'll be surprised when they get home and see that your room is completely unpacked."
"I don't need your help unpacking my room, I can do it on my own," I gave him a poke to emphasize my point.
He squirmed, "Aw...not fair! And I want to see what your room looks like, so I'm gonna help you whether you like it or not."
"Tch, fine, I'll let you help." I let him go from my poke and crossed my arms on the table wondering why I wasn't accepting his help before.
He stuck his tongue out at me playfully, "See, I knew you'd see it my way. Nobody should refuse help when it's offered. Especially when your doing something like unpacking from a move."
"Oh, and how would you know?"
"I moved here about six years ago, we still have boxes that were never unpacked. It's a pain in the ass. Even at that age I had to do it, but I'm personally glad I moved back then and not now like you. We're just lucky we found a guy like Craig to help us through."
"Heh, did you two meet in a similar manner?"
He gave a little laugh, "Nope, there wasn't any physical pain or embarrassment involved in our meeting. We live next to each other, if you can believe it."
I was slightly amazed, to say the least, "No way, your pretty lucky the way I see it."
"Lucky in that we live next to each other, or lucky that I didn't get hit by the door that he opened. Because he has hit me with several things by mistake."
My head hit the table and I laughed. "Yeah, your lucky in both senses. But wait, what has he hit you with?"
He smirked, "Let's just say stuff and leave it at that, the bells about to ring. How bout we meet in front of the main office after third period and then you can show me where you live."
"Alright, I can live with that." And just like that the bell rang and we were off to class again.
With one class left the rest of the day went very fast. For that I was really thankful. I wanted to get home, but moreover, I wanted to have Ken come over. Wasn't sure what we were gonna do when we got there (other than unpack) but I'd find something for us to do.
I made it out to the front of the school first, and I watched the other furs get picked up in front of the school. As I stood there I wondered if Ken would mind taking the bus most of the way since it was quicker than walking (living on the other side of the freeway causes me to take the bus). Suddenly I felt a jab at my back and I nearly fell down the stairs. My first thought was that one of the students was in a rush and ran into me on his way out the door. Though when I turned around I found the Dalmatian that I had been waiting for standing there with a smile on his face.
"We goin or what?" He said.
"Oh, sure, but did you have to almost knock me over?" I started walking towards the bus stop nearby and he walked right along side me.
"You should be prepared for anything with me and Craig as your friends. He tackles," he said nudging me a little.
"Oh great, like I want to walk around with my head on a swivel at all times. So, do you mind if we take the bus?" We stopped at the bus stop and I could see it turning the corner. There were a few other furs standing around waiting for it to come around.
"I don't mind, I have to take the bus to get to and from anyways."
The bus stopped in front of us and we entered in with the crowd. We relinquished a bus ticket and grabbed a seat so we could sit next to each other. On the ride I found that we lived near each other, within walking distance close. So when we got to the stop near his house(which was the stop I got on the bus to get to school) he grabbed some swim trunks at his house and left a note for his parents telling them where he'd be. We still didn't have a phone hooked-up, so the only way they could reach him is by cell. He was at least lucky enough to have one. Though, my parents said that once we got settled in they'd get me one.
We then walked the few blocks to my house, taking a shortcut through the nearby park. I noted it had a basketball court, (small, with only one hoop) and a large grassy area. And of course a typical setup of slides and monkey bars in a sandbox-like area. 'I would have come to a place like this when I was a cub,' I thought.
"Ya know whats funny?" Ken spoke up as we passed through the park. "In the entirety of time that I've lived here, I have never been here before. I don't even think I knew this place was here."
"Really, you look like your in shape so I would think you'd come here to play basketball or something." I don't think mentioning that I noticed he was in shape was strange. 'He looks good in those shorts...' I thought, 'wait what? Why did I just think that!?'
"Well thanks, but I never got out much before last year. I was into track, and I'm hoping to try out this year."
"Really, I'm not to into the whole school sports thing. I'd much rather play a sport with a few friends than compete in front of a crowd. Not that it isn't a bad idea."
"I do it for fun, although I have to admit that running does seem like something that would be reserved for desperate situations, rather than fun. But I enjoy it. And I like to think I'm pretty fast, just in case though, I want to see how I stack up against others."
I stopped on the corner of the street we were on and gave him a sideways glance, and a small smirk, "Well, ya want your first challenge right here?"
He gave me a smirk that probably looked similar to the one on my muzzle, "Jeff, your new here and haven't ever seen me sprint before, so I think it's only fair warning to say that it is in your best interest to first see, then challenge. Unless you want your pride to be destroyed by being beat by me."
I couldn't tell if he was overestimating himself or not because of how confident he sounded. For a wolf, I didn't get enough exercise as this dog did, and his toned legs proved it. I know even my natural speed wasn't going to be enough to beat him if he was as fast as he thought he was. There was a little voice inside of me, though, that continued to grow as I looked into his eyes. As my caution was beaten down by this voice, it bolstered a new confidence in myself that his warning had taken away.
"Well, how 'bout we just do it as a bit of friendly competition, just to see how much better you are than me. If that's the case that is." 'As long as I know that he'll likely beat me, I wont feel as bad,' I thought. I also noticed that the voice in my head stopped, which I just shrugged off.
"Heh, as long as you don't cry if I beat ya, then fine." He paused and looked down the sidewalk, giving me a chance to note that he said 'if' and not 'when'. He pointed down to the end of the street, some thirty yards away and said, "First one to the end wins, or is that to far to you?"
I looked down there, already expecting that to be the potential ending and shrugged, "No problem with me." We used one of the breaks in the cement to be our starting line. I noticed he was still wearing his backpack as he began stretching, and I said, "So your not gonna take that off?"
He gave a short laugh as he stretched his legs a little, and I still couldn't stop watching him as he flexed and relaxed his muscles. "Well if I did you'd be the one trotting back for it. Think of it as a slight handicap." He gave me a smile, but it wasn't one of those gloating smiles that overconfidence brings to someone who thinks of themselves too highly, it was a friendly one. I smiled back and wondered to myself if there was anything more than his shorts. I also wondered if I should be stretching myself, but I decided that it wouldn't be to bad and in the back of my mind I hoped that I wouldn't regret it.
"So ya ready?" He asked as he got in the typical sprinters position. From all the preparation I could tell that he had been through this routine many times before.
I followed suit and mimicked his positioning as best I could. As unfamiliar as I was to this, I didn't think it felt too uncomfortable. "Sure, why not," was all I said.
"Wanna count us down?"
I looked from the end of the street, to him, and finally to the ground in front of me. I took a breath and began the countdown, "Three," I thought I saw movement out of the corner of my eye, but I ignored it. "Two," This time I glanced quickly over and saw Ken adjust his position, his gaze trained to the end of the street. I tensed as I uttered "One," and wondered how far I'd get before he passed me completely. I couldn't figure out whether I pushed off when I yelled, "GO!" Or if I pushed off just before, but all I know is that I got no more than three steps in before Ken's small form passed me and just stayed ahead of me. I was close enough to him that I could reach out and grab his shoulder easily throughout the race, neither of us really gaining or losing, which was both exciting because that meant that he wasn't that much faster than me, but also disappointing. By the time we reached the end of the block we were well past panting, and when we stopped we both hunched over to catch our breath. He turned to me, his tongue hanging out and sweating slightly, with a huge grin on his muzzle. I would have returned the grin, but I was too busy catching my breath to do anything but think that my heart was going to explode.
Ken took a single huge breath and stood up strait before expelling it from his lungs in a huge sigh. He gave a tired laugh and said, "I don't know how close you were, but I had to try my hardest just to stay ahead of you. Your faster than I thought you were."
I stood up, still breathing hard, even harder than he was. "Shit...I couldn't of run faster than that if I had tried. Any further and I would have passed out. Guess you are faster."
"Well sure, I've been training since near the end of the seventh grade. You'd be faster if you had trained for just a year I bet." He put a friendly paw on my shoulder. I smiled at the touch and suddenly felt a weird warmth in my face, almost as if I was blushing, but I shrugged it off as a result of running my tail off.
"You base that off of me being a wolf, huh?" I finally stood up strait, but now the pain in my chest and legs were noticeable, 'Fucking stretch next time!' I yelled in my head.
"Sorta, mostly because you finished right behind me. How close were you to me?"
I looked at him and with a little grin, "Let's just say that you should be glad you didn't suddenly 'fall' into a bush back there."
"That close, eh? I'm glad you aren't overly competitive then. You should sign up to be on track with me."
"Nah, I don't like internal pain to much," I joked, holding my chest, still feeling the aftermath of the race.
"Well, you do get used to it, and the extra muscle might make ya more attractive to girls, eh?" He gave me a wink and I laughed.
"Naw, everyone knows that girls like football players. Besides, I'm a wolf, I don't have to work that hard." I wanted to sound like I was kidding, but it sounded, even to me, like I was boasting.
"Whatever you say," he said with a shrug. "So, now that we're here, where's your house again?"
I pointed across the street to a two story with a garden and two small areas of green grass. In between the areas of grass was the driveway and the two car garage. A path branched off from the driveway that lead to the stairs which went to a small balcony-like area and the front door.
"Nice house, though, why are there stairs that lead to the front door...isn't that the middle of the house?" I walked ahead of him and motioned him to follow, which he did with a slight bounce in his step.
"Don't worry if it looks weird, it did to me too. But when you get inside you'll see. I kinda like how different it is." We stepped up to the door and I fished out my key (which my dad had had enough time to get made last night) and unlocked the door. I opened it and we stepped through the opening, and he giggled, "Whoa, this is different."
What he saw was two steps in front of us, up and down. Down being a small area for what would be our entertainment area. I knew this only because my father had the movers put our big flat screen down there and our most comfortable sofa. There was also a glass sliding door that lead to the back patio. Up was the living room and the doorway leading to the small balcony. Of course, that was all that could be seen. The only way he was going to be able to appreciate the different nature of our house is if he got the tour.
I gave his big ear a flick with my finger to get his attention. He gave me a little growl, but I saw the smile on his face so I knew I didn't actually make him mad. "Come on, ya gotta see this." I walked up the stairs and waited, leaning on the post at the top and pointed strait ahead, his left as he walked past me.
"Well this is interesting, what's the kitchen doing up here?"
"I don't know, but I found it really funny when I first came in here. I like how they put windows right there," I walked up to the sink and leaned a little to look down into the neighbors yard. The only thing preventing view of their rooms were two trees. "Though someone thought ahead and put those trees there so I can't see anything."
He stood next to me, looking through the window he said, "Do you know who lives there?"
I shrugged, "No clue, guess I'll find out at some point though."
"Well since we're in here, got anything in the fridge?" He asked, pointing to the shiny new one we bought just for the move.
"You can check, but when I left this morning it was pretty empty. My mom said she'd go to the store today and get us stuff." I padded over and before I opened the door I looked at Ken's backpack, still on his shoulders. "You can put that down ya know," I said.
His paw moved back and touched his pack, "Whoops, guess I forgot I had it on." I watched as he went into the living room, my eyes working on their own and scanning his back. I shook my head and blinked a few times, looking up in time to see him set it on the new couch that still had the tag. I couldn't remember what the fabric was, but I remember not wanting to get off it at the store. I opened the fridge as Ken came back and I saw that it was just as empty as it had been when we got here. Just milk, some jelly, and some eggs. Enough to get us by for today. I closed it and looked at the water/ice dispenser attached to the freezer side of the refrigerator.
I sighed, "Want a glass of water?"
With a chuckle he said, "Nah, that's okay. I can hold out."
"I'm sure my mom would be cool with having you stay over for dinner."
He leaned against the refrigerator and folded his arms over his chest. "Awesome, so what do we do till then?"
"Well, we have two options. We could unpack some of my stuff and see what ridiculous and otherwise embarrassing thing we can find. Or we can do the lazy thing and just try out the pool." I smiled a little. I personally couldn't figure out which of the two I wanted to do more. As badly as I needed to get my room together (not that there were all that many boxes to unpack), I wanted to relax and take a swim.
"We could do that, but if you haven't gotten anything unpacked then what will you wear?"
My ears twitched, 'Good question.' "I think I know what box my shorts are in, I'll look for them while you get ready." I suggested. "The bathrooms next to my room so I can show ya it before you go in to change." We walked through the living room, Ken grabbing his pack off the couch, and into a small hallway. To the right were two doors and at the end of the hall was one more. The bathroom was the second one on the right, so we passed by my room and he took a quick look before going into the bathroom. I looked around my room, my bed was against the middle of the right wall. Opposite it, was my dresser with my own television, nothing attached to it yet. The dresser was rather empty as well, with the exception to whatever underwear, and shirts I had put in it last night. The far wall had a few stacks of boxes that could of held anything...mostly more clothes for my dresser and miscellaneous. To my left was a stack of three boxes next to a closet, filled with jeans, pants, sweatshirts, all of which would go into the closet. I knew the article of clothing I was looking for wasn't in there, so I walked around my bed to the stacks against the far wall. I checked the names on the boxes to make it easier for me to find what I was looking for.
In the middle of the second column I found a box with the word 'Shorts' written on the side in permanent marker. I set the other boxes aside and opened it up, immediately digging through. I stacked each of the different shorts on my bed and it wasn't long before I found black swimming shorts. I smiled as I pulled them out of the box thinking 'well that wasn't so hard.' I was just pulling my pants off when I heard the toilet flush and I realized that I had carelessly left my door open. I quickly turned around and attempted to make my way to the door so I can close it. I took one step and slammed my footpaw against the metal post holding my bed up. I yelped a curse and nearly fell over, holding my sore foot in my paw.
Ken definitely heard my scream, because he appeared in my doorway with a panicky look on his muzzle, "What, what happened? You okay?" I was sitting at the edge of my bed, holding my footpaw, and I was in my underwear. We were both silent for a second, me biting my lip trying to ignore the pain but failing, and he was just standing there looking at me.
I finally just said, "Shut the door please," and it took him a moment, but he nodded and closed the door without saying a word. I rubbed my toe for a second, letting out a small whine, before I finally set it down and stood up. "That was embarrassing," I said under my breath. With a sigh, I peeled off my shirt and underwear, then pulled on my shorts. I padded across the room, carefully this time, and opened the door to see Ken leaning against the wall opposite my door. He was dressed only in bright red shorts, that held onto his hips with an elastic waistband, much like my own.
With a tone to match the worried look in his eyes he asked, "Are you okay? What happened?"
I felt myself blush a little in embarrassment as I said, "I stubbed my toe on the bed when I went to go close the door.
He gave a little hiss, "Yeah, that hurts, your toe okay?"
"Yeah, but I think from now on I'll jump over my bed," I half-joked, though considered making it a habit, "it's too dangerous to walk."
He smiled, "At least your okay."
"Depends on your definition of 'okay,' but it coulda been worse."
"Exactly, now lets get your mind off that by jumping into the pool." He suddenly went from concerned to excited, which brought a smile on my lips.
I was about to say okay when I turned around and went back in my room, probably confusing Ken a little. I did a little roll over my bed and grabbed a box from the first column of boxes I skimmed over. I found the one I was looking for at the bottom and took the top four off two at a time. I felt more than heard Ken approach me from behind but I didn't acknowledge him, I just opened the box up and found what I was looking for on top of the rest.
"Ya know, this was supposed to be in the garage, but I think it's better that it wasn't." I tossed the football over my head for Ken to catch and closed the box up. I turned around to see him holding the ball in his paws.
"Whats this for?" He asked.
"Well, I personally find it much more exciting to play games in water than to just swim. Just thought you'd like to play catch."
"Hey...are you implying something?" He asked with mock offense.
I gave a short laugh, "Nope, but if had been a tennis ball..."
His brow furrowed and he shoved the ball in my chest, which I grabbed as he pulled back, "Oh your real funny." He either couldn't, or didn't try hard to hide the smile on his muzzle.
I laughed, "I agree, I am pretty funny." I stuck my tongue out playfully and he started laughing too. "Now let's get in that pool and see if it's as cold as I think it is."
He suddenly snatched the ball from my paws and briskly walked out of my room. My first instinct was to chase him down and try to take it back, but prior experiences had taught me that that was definitely a bad idea. Instead, I gingerly walked in between my bed and dresser before giving chase at a fast walk. He was already on the landing with the front door when I was able to see him. He saw me, a big smile on his muzzle, and took off towards the back door. I increased my pace and decided to leap down the five or six steps that separated the top floor from the front door. I turned and jumped down those steps and stopped for a second to look out the door. I couldn't see Ken outside, nor was he in the pool because the water didn't have a ripple to suggest he dove in. I raised an eyebrow and walked towards the door, which I noticed was still locked. I was about halfway there when I saw that, which was about when I stopped and put things together.
Unfortunately it was to late by then and I was suddenly tackled from behind. I yelped in surprise as I turned my head and I tried to turn so I could land on my side. Almost in slow motion I felt myself hit the, thankfully soft, carpet with a thump, Ken landing on my lower half. I groaned as I opened my eyes (which I had closed at some point during the fall) as I felt the weight that had knocked me to the ground shift and I could hear Ken laughing. He crawled up so that his face was in front of mine and through a fit of laughter said, "Ya know...that was too easy..."
For some reason I, circumstances aside, was enjoying his body on mine, his shorter fur brushing against mine...'Not again!' "Thanks, I love being snuck up on and tackled by guys I just met."
He rolled off me and got up, "Sorry, but I saw your couch here and I had to see if I could, I was just havin fun."
I sighed and got up, a smile creeping up on my lips, "It's okay, I don't mind too much, just don't make it a regular thing to attempt that..." I noticed that he wasn't holding the football anymore and was about to point it out when he turned around and leaned over the back of the sofa. My eyes widened as he gave me a view of his short tail and covered rear. I turned my head, but it took more effort to look away. I looked away finally and began walking out, in an attempt to hide my, most likely reddening face. I saw him pick the ball up from behind the couch in the glasses reflection as I unlocked the top lock and opened it up. The back yard was fairly big, mostly covered in grass except for the area around the pool and the small rectangular cement patio in front of the door. I walked up into the September sun, though the heat felt like August to me. I looked into the pool and sighed as I saw a few dead bugs here and there. We tried to move in as soon as the old owners moved, but were delayed by a week for shipment issues. I shrugged and looked around for the pool net to clean out the stuff when Ken came out and looked into the pool.
"Ew...one of the annoyances of pools is the cleaning." He said, mostly to himself from the sound of it.
I found the net and picked the debris out of the pool. "But it'll be worth it," I said reassuringly, "did ya notice the hot tub?" I asked with a proud smile.
He looked over to the small built-in hot tub and oooo'd. "I gotta get in that before I go home."
"We'll see, I think I need to ask my parents before we do that. Besides, why should I let you, you just tackled me to the ground for no reason."
"Saywhat? Hey, I apologized," he said sounding slightly annoyed.
I finished cleaning the pool and put the net against the wall. With my back still turned to him, mostly to hide my smile, I said, "It still wasn't nice to do that to me. I just don't feel motivated to let you do that."
Suddenly the football hit the wall right next to my head and bounced into the hot tub. My eyes widened in surprise at the near miss, and I turn around to see the Dalmatian smiling back at me, his arms crossed. "What the hell, you almost hit me." I went to fish the ball out of the water and when I looked back I saw him laughing.
"You really think I'd hit you? I was just kidding. I know you were too." He obviously didn't mean any harm by it.
"Oh, and how sure of that are you?"
"Very," he said with a smile. "So what should we do first? Swim or catch? Or shall we do both?"
"I was thinkin both...even though its not that big." Before I could say anything more, or even register the fact that he said, "Sweet," he dove in. He didn't make a big splash, but from where I was standing I still go a little wet.
I watched as he resurfaced at the other end of the pool, near the diving board and he said, "C'mon in, waters not that bad." He shook his head to get the water off, making his ears flop around on his head. Seeing this I couldn't help but laugh. The curious look he gave me made me laugh a little harder. I walked around to the diving board and got on it, still laughing a little. He backed up to give me room, and I briefly wondered if I should throw the ball at him to get back at him, but decided instead to do a cannon ball, landing right in front of him.
I let the ball go and quickly followed it to the surface. I took a breath and shook the water out of my eyes before I opened them. When I did I saw the spottydog's face inches from mine, startling me a bit.
"Have fun trying to land on me?" he said with a laugh. He reached behind me and grabbed the ball, which he carried with him to the other end of the pool. I could see that he could easily stand up in the 5' shallow end and he tossed the ball at me. My hands reached up to catch the ball, which caused my head to sink below the surface. The ball flew over my hands and I resurfaced feeling slightly stupid. I could see him laughing at me, and I turned around to grab the ball. "You didn't think this through did you?" I heard him ask.
"Not really," I admitted as I tossed the ball out of the pool and pulled myself out. "Your enjoying this aren't you?" I asked as I sat at the edge of the pool, my feet in the water.
He just shrugged and said, "Would ya hate me if I said I was?"
I sighed, "Not really."
"Good, I didn't want ya mad at me," he said. He turned around and pulled himself out of the water, his short fur matted with water. His shorts were clinging to his body, outlining the hips that they covered. I shook my head to try and stop the thoughts that entered my mind. 'Why the hell do I keep noticing these things about him, a guy!?' I saw him looking at me, head tilted in confusion.
In an attempt to excuse my strange behavior I said, "Sorry, had some water in my ear, felt weird." I gave him a reassuring smile but all I thought was, 'Lame!'
"Alright then, still wanna throw the ball?" He asked and I just shrugged and got up. I smiled as I tossed the ball to him, being careful not to fall in the pool.
He caught it easily and said, "Ya sure you want to be standing there?"
"Just throw it dude."
He threw it right at my chest, which made me think that he really did miss me before on purpose. We threw it back and forth for a while, my fur drying from the sun. We'd talk about random things every once and a while, but there was something else on my mind. Every time he caught the ball I noticed his pants, unable to look away until he threw it back, and then I was looking at his muscled chest and arms. I wanted to look away, but I knew if I did I'd get hit by the ball if I did. I couldn't stop thinking about how good he looked. I tried to focus on just throwing and catching, but I kept thinking of him. 'Am I attracted to him?' I asked myself. 'I had never thought of myself as gay though, I was never attracted to a guy before.' I couldn't figure it out and it was annoying, confusing and embarrassing. 'Well, if anything else at least I'm not getting hard,' when I thought that, though, my eyes immediately went for his crotch. I closed my eyes to stop looking, which was a bad idea, because I then got hit in the muzzle with the ball.
I felt my head spin for a second, but I quickly recovered and opened my eyes in time to see Ken out of the corner of my eye. "Jeff, ya okay? I didn't hurt you did I?" He put his paw on my muzzle and gently moved it to the side so I was looking directly at him. "Your nose isn't all that lucky is it?" He asked with a nervous chuckle.
"Don't worry," I moved his paw off my snout, "it wasn't as bad as the door. That hurt a lot worse, though I have to say that the pain to my pride isn't that much better."
"What were you thinkin' closin' your eyes?"
"Meh..." I tried to grasp at a good excuse, "got something in my eye."
"This has not been your day has it?"
"Well, I think that just evened things out right there," as far as I could see, things couldn't get worse.
"I'd say lets go inside, but we forgot the towels and I don't think your parents would like our wet asses in your house."
"Dammit," not something I should of forgotten, "well we're stuck till my mom gets here later."
"I think it's about three, what time should she be home?"
"I'm thinkin about four," but my gut said she'd be late. But I had to take into account that I was hungry because of my lack of lunch.
"Well I don't feel like playin anymore...what should we do while we wait?"
I looked past him to the hot tub and smiled, "You still want to jump in the hot tub?"
"Will your parents mind?" He asked, a hopeful smile growing on his muzzle.
"I don't know, but if I figure out how it works then I'm sure they'll want to know how. Maybe then they won't mind to much."
"Sweet! Make it happen!" He ordered, a big toothy smile plastered on his muzzle.
"Fine, fine," I said moving past him and I looked along the side of the garage for the control panel. Next to the door leading to the inside of the garage was a keypad that looked like it was for the tub. "This is either the right one, or I'm about to turn on the sprinklers." I said as I pressed the on button. I heard a buzzing and a low rumble and turned around to see the jets working in the small pool. I smiled and looked back at the panel, and raised the temperature to above eighty. When I turned around the dog was already in it and had his tongue hanging out of his muzzle. 'Aww, cute,' I thought, flinching a little. 'I can't believe I'm thinking this.'
I sat down next to him and he said, "Thanks Jeff, this feels so awesome," giving a huge content sigh and closing his eyes. I smiled at his reaction, feeling the warm water relax me. I looked at his face and slowly looked down his body. I felt disappointed that everything below the water was too hard to make out, but his chest wasn't and I focused on that part of him. He definitely worked out, his chest was muscled, but still small. I felt compelled to reach out and touch him, but I didn't allow myself. I was only willing to allow myself to think he was cute, which I couldn't understand why I was thinking it. 'Why now? Why him?' It was just confusing to me.
I didn't have long to linger on these thoughts though. I saw someone open the door and immediately knew it was my mom. I got up when she stepped onto the patio. "Jeff, what are you doing out here..." She began, but then she stopped. She must have seen Ken because a look of confusion and happiness appeared on her lips. Then I heard some splashing and turned to see Ken get out of the pool, both of us dripping water onto the ground now.
"Mom," I said, "This is Ken, he's my new friend." I smiled nervously, but mostly because I thought she'd get mad later for me turning on the hot tub.
"Well it's really nice to see that you made a new friend so fast," she said rather happily.
Ken, still dripping water, said, "Erm, I'd shake your hand, but I'm a little wet at the moment."
"Well, how about I get you two towels and you can come inside." My mom said to us. "Jeff hun, turn off the hot tub and while I go find the towels." I gave a nod and watched my mom go back inside. When she was completely inside I walked over to the controls and turned off the jets.
"Your mom seems nice," Ken said walking up behind me.
I smiled, "Yeah, she is. You'll like my dad too. He'll be just as glad to see that I have a friend like you."
He giggled, "Well, it's good to know that I would be so loved by your family."
"Well why not, you're a great guy to befriend me like that."
He put his wet paw on my back, making a wet, slapping noise on my back. "Befriend you? I just acted this way so that I could get to swim in your pool." He then playfully stuck his tongue out at me.
"Oh really?" I asked, narrowing my eyes and grinning as evilly as my muzzle would allow. I allowed him time enough to gulp and just as he was about to probably ask me why I was looking at him like that I pushed him into the pool. "Well if you like it so much then you can stay in there. Just don't ask this wolf for help." I returned the tongue in time to catch some very bad tasting chlorine on it. I gagged slightly at the very unclean taste and spit several times in a futile attempt to get rid of the taste. I heard him laugh and gave him a warning growl as he floated over to the edge of the pool. He was still giggling when he got out of the pool, which was just when my mom came back out holding a bundle of folded towels.
She looked at the freshly soaked and chuckling Dalmatian, "What happened," she asked me.
"Oh, nothing, just foolin' around," I said, staring at Ken. He had stopped laughing and was now just looking at me with a smile.
"Well, here are your towels, boys. Try to get yourselves clean enough so you don't get the carpet all wet. If you want to stay for dinner Ken then feel free to tell your parents." She set the towels near the pillar for the deck.
"Thanks," Ken said.
"Dinner will be in about an hour, maybe a little longer. Try not to get the carpet too wet boys."
As she walked away I said, "Kay mom," and we grabbed a towel.
As we dried ourselves off Ken said out of no where, "So how's the water taste?"
I sighed, "It tastes how feline piss smells." I definitely would need a shower after being in that water.
This caused him to break out in another fit of laughter. "You must of smelled a lot of it if you can pick it out like that."
"Not really, once is enough, trust me." I gave him a slight smile and he nodded.
"Sorry, didn't mean to getcha in the mouth," he was kind enough to give a slight pause before he giggled and said, "but it was pretty funny."
"Just remind me to tell my dad that the pool needs to be cleaned soon, that water is rancid."
"Well your not supposed to drink it," he said matter-of-factly.
I gave him the best 'duh' look I could and said, "Yeah, but I don't want to be swimming in that!" I caught myself scanning his body, but I let my eyes linger for a moment before averting my gaze again, not letting him catch me. His body was just so easy on the eyes, the white fur with black spots randomly covering areas of his fur. His chest and stomach were toned, definitely made for running. I couldn't help myself, and although I knew of only one thing that this could have been, I just didn't think that that was what it was. I licked my lips and immediately regretted it from the taste of the rancid water, which was still lingering on my lips.
"Yeah, but you did." He said, moving from his body to his legs with the towel. He frowned a little and said, "Ya know, my shorts were dryer before you pushed me into the pool."
I just smiled and said, "Yeah, but it was funny though."
I heard him make a, 'tch' sound but he didn't respond. He squeezed out as much of the water from his shorts as he could, but both of us knew that he wasn't going to get them much dryer than that. He'd be dripping as he walked into the house, and so would I.
Just then I had an idea, "Why don't we get out of these shorts and cover up with the other two towels?"
I saw him raise a damp ear a little and he shrugged. "Sure, just as long as you don't mind that I have nothing on under these."
"Well, neither do I," I confessed. "Just stay out of view from the back door, so my mom doesn't see you." I thought about what we were about to do for a second and tried to decide whether or not the idea was making me nervous or embarrassed. The thought of seeing him naked made me feel good, again, I couldn't help but wonder why I suddenly felt this way.
"I could always drop my pants in the garage," he said pointing to the door that lead to the attached garage.
'Well that fixes that,' I thought. "Sure, I'll change next to the door so knock before coming out."
"Sure," he said as he took both his towels into the garage, closing the door behind him.
As soon as he closed the door I grabbed the last towel and took my place next to the door. I dropped my pants quickly and set them down with a wet plop. I just as quickly dried off my crotch, legs, rear and tail. As soon as I was dry enough I wrapped my wet towel around my soaked shorts and then covered myself with the other towel, letting my long tail hang over the edge of the towel. As soon as I finished I heard the knock and opened the door for him. He stepped out and said, "You have a huge garage. And a very nice car."
"Yeah, that one's my mom's," I said as I took a quick look at the car in the dim room before closing the door.
We walked into the house and he asked, "So what do your parents do anyways?"
"They work over at the lab nearby," I said with maybe with a little bit of pride.
"Oh, cool, that does explain the nice car. So where do we put our wet clothing?"
I led him past the couch where there was a closed door that lead to the small laundry room. It had a brand new washer and dryer that would have matched the fridge if they had been placed next to each other. We decided to just place them in the dryer and let it run for a while.
While we waited for our clothes to dry we went upstairs. Ken changed in the bathroom and I got back into my clothes in my room, still careful of the legs of my bed (I'd have to put a pillow or two there later). I came out of my room, back in my previous clothes from school, to see that Ken was standing outside my door dressed in his previous attire. "So what's for dinner?" he asked.
"Well that's something you'll have to ask my mom. Though if I had to guess, it'd be steak." 'mmm, steak,' at least that's what I heard her tell me this morning. I thought for a second as I stared at him how lucky he was to have such short fur. My fur was sticking up at weird angles from the chemical-filled pool water, his, on the other hand, looked the same as it had before.
"Sounds yum, so what should we do in the meantime?"
"Wanna put my room away?" I pointed a thumb behind me, "We could then set up a game on my N64."
"Ooo, fun. You never mentioned a system, let's get to work then."
He maneuvered around me and practically hopped into my room. I followed behind him and we began unpacking my boxes. We made short work of the boxes together, which was quite the relief for me. I'd much rather not do this kind of stuff by myself. I noted the few times I stole glances at him, and decided right then that I needed some help. I needed to ask somebody who could help me through this. I knew exactly who to ask, and decided that tomorrow I was going to ask Craig about this, if anyone could help me, it was him. By the time we were done, we had the system out and all the paraphernalia that went with it. We also could smell the meat that couldn't have been anything except steak. We played for a little while before we were called out for dinner, where both my parents were waiting at the dinner table. Ken introduced himself to my father, who seemed more than pleased to meet a new friend of mine. My thoughts were now divided between trying to keep up with my parents questions about school and my thoughts on what was going to happen tomorrow. I wasn't going to be shunned by Craig, but I needed to make sure that he didn't tell anyone. 'I guess then I'll have to pull him aside.' I thought.
We finished dinner and I asked if Ken could spend the night, which seemed spontaneous even as I said it, but my parents were more than happy to say yes. So, even though it was a school night, he was able to stay over after getting the okay from his parents, who apparently wanted to meet me. 'Typical parenting,' I thought.
So we sat on my bed, played games and talked, my eyes studying him every chance they got, though all I got to see was his side. I had to scoot back though, so I wasn't in his peripheral vision, because another part of me had decided to make itself known. I was glad at that point that it had behaved in the pool, and that I wasn't wearing pants that showed it too well. Ken didn't seem to notice though, and for that I was grateful, too. When it was time for bed I shut the machine off and layed in my bed, while Ken went to lay down in the foldout bed downstairs (one of the most comfortable foldouts I might add).
I was closed my door and sighed, quietly saying to myself, "This has to be the weirdest day I have had, every time I look at him...does this mean I'm attracted to him?" Confused, I slipped into the covers and took my shirt and pants on, deciding to sleep nude tonight. My erection still hadn't gone down, and I whimpered, "Well at least one of us isn't confused here." I wasn't sure if I should listen to my dick or not, but he did make me feel good, as hard as I tried to fight it.
It was impossible, so I sighed, defeated, and placed my paw on my 6 ½ shaft. I hadn't done this in at least a week, so the feeling was enough to make me shudder. I tried to remind myself why I was doing this, because I thought the Dalmatian sleeping downstairs was cute, but it didn't even phase my hard-on. If anything, it made it just that much harder when I thought about him. So I gave in and closed my eyes, and I allowed myself to picture his body, and what I thought he looked like naked. His furry sheath and balls, spotted slightly like the rest of his body. My paw moved slowly against my sensitive prick, and I let my mind wander as I pictured us kissing, and his paw was on my shaft, mimicking my own movements under the covers.
We continued to kiss, my paws roaming and experimentally touching his lithe form, feeling his nipples, down his stomach and down to his sheath. His paw sped up and I began to pant and moan, a little surprised at how close I already was. My cock throbbed, paining for release as my knot made it's appearance. Ken was quick to grip it with his other paw and rubbed it slowly as he squeezed. I whimpered and suppressed a howl as I came, shooting my load onto him, or at least it would have been him if I hadn't been pawing.
I opened my eyes, panting and sweating slightly as I pulled my hands out and saw my right one covered in my cum. "Damn," I said under my breath. I pulled back the covers and saw the mess I had made under my covers, quite a load, but that's what I get for abstaining from pawing for a week. Though now I had no other choice than to think that the feelings I had for Ken were more than just coincidence. I was in love with the Dalmatian, and I had to face up to the fact that I was gay. 'There are worse things that I could be,' I thought to myself before getting up to go to the bathroom and clean up.

Well that was the longest chapter yet. I had no time for certain names so sue me as you please. I wanted to do this chapter so badly that it hurt, so if you don't like that either, you can sue me as well =^_^=. Now, the story of Jeff and Ken is not done, not by a long shot. I will complete the next part as soon as I figure out how to start it (I already know how it ends, hows that for nifty?). I figured that some of you would appreciate that last part so I added it, plus, I thought it made sense. Sorry for how short it is though, but sometimes that's how it is ;). After this is all done I have the next chapter started, (I alternate between chapters in my downtime) so I could have it finished before Christmas. My next part will be a Christmas-oriented story for the second half of it. Hope you enjoyed it so far._
