#5 of Creative Writing

This creative writing prompt was to prepare us for our one minute scenes. It was to get us to understand the concept of tone and creating images to depict certain feelings. We were given 10 minutes to write about either anger or peace. Obviously, I chose anger.

Anger

They were both sitting in a tiny room, bare except for the table between them and the chairs they were sitting in.

One of these men was smiling cruelly.

The other stared at him with hard eyes. His fists were clenched, his heart was pounding, and beads of sweat were dripping from his brow. He tried to control his breathing, but it came out ragged and uneven. His clothes were a little off; hurriedly thrown on and seemingly half torn.

He said a few harsh words, trying to say them calmly, but screamed them out.

The other man's smile vanished into thin air, to be replaced by a scowl, baring his teeth. He tried to leap at the other man, but the chains connected from the table bound to his wrists held him in place.
