Chapter 4: Holy Attack.

Lucas rolled over and moaned. His plan on taking a nap wasn't going over so well. He just felt so... horny he had no idea why. He had masturbated several more times and his room stank of his semen but he kept on doing it. He had just finished another session when he heard the loft stairs being pulled down and he heard Erin's voice call out to him. He told her he was in his bedroom and quickly went on to put on a pair of shorts just as she stuck her head in.

"Hey, you feel okay brother?" she asked him before wrinkling her nose, "Gah! It reeks in here! What have you been doing?"

He just flushed a bit and looked down. Erin blushed somewhat when she realized what exactly he had been doing. "Oh... ew... sorry I asked... um... get cleaned up okay? I'll fix you something to eat... okay?" She said before closing the door.

"Well that was awkward..." he said to himself. He found some air-freshener and sprayed it around the room to get the smell to go away. When his room didn't smell like cum, he went to the bathroom and quickly turned on the water. He sighed as the water relaxed his muscles. He was thankful he didn't feel the consuming horniness again... that kiss must have messed with his head. Maybe he was a bit harsh on the other guy... He doubted Ian meant any harm.

"Hey Luc? You've been in there for a while you okay?" he heard Erin call out breaking him from his thoughts. He quickly noticed the water was freezing so he quickly turned off the water and scrubbed his fur dry. Once he was sure he was completely dry he put his clothes in the washer with his uniform and noticed Erin has put him some more clothes outside the bathroom. Once he got dressed he emerged and saw Erin on the couch listening to music. Her head was bobbing up and down as she hummed the tune. He had stood their awhile before she noticed him.

"Oh, your lunch is downstairs I fixed up a quick stir-fry okay?"

He nodded in thanks. Erin was always pretty good when it came to Eastern dishes. Chinese, Japanese, and Indian she loved cooking it. He himself was better with European styles. Italian, French ect... he was also decent enough when it came to Mexican food though he rarely fixed it.

"Sounds good, I know your stir-fry it's always good," he said as he kicked the loft stairs down and descended into the main house. True to form it was spotless and Lucas carefully made his way through the hall and found the stairs. The third floor was pretty much storage where they kept everything. The Second floor held his parent's bedroom and two guestrooms for visitors. Each room had their own bathroom plus the one in the hallway. The ground floor held his parent's offices the family room and the kitchen. They had never been allowed in either of the offices and they hardly ever used the family room, but the kitchen was always the hub.

His thoughts briefly went back to Ian. He was still confused about the boy's sudden actions. He hadn't expected the boy to be gay let alone kiss him in the middle of the hallway. He had to admit he did enjoy it... but he was wondering if Ian genuinely liked him or if he was just a pawn in some twisted game. He could never be sure... not after Thomas betrayed him... they had been friends... or so he thought.

'It's over and done with! What's done is done!' he thought to himself miserably. But that sting of betrayal had prevented him from letting anyone else in. Thankfully Thomas had moved to Victoria after he had outed Lucas, so he didn't have to see the bastard's smug face. He had never felt so low as when it happened, and he'd spent most of his days crying in his room. That was when he decided that feeling emotions would only lead to pain and he dedicated himself to controlling them. He could hide them well enough from everybody, but Erin always managed to see right through it. Something he both cursed and was grateful for.

Eventually he walked into the kitchen and saw the food on the table. He was starving missing lunch and the chronic masturbation had taken a lot out of him. So he quickly gulped down his food, barely hearing Erin walk down.

"So... why didn't you tell me you and Ian played kissy-face today?" she asked him while he was taking a bite and making him choke in his shock. He coughed for several minutes trying to dislodge the food from his throat.

After several minutes of desperate coughing he finally was able to speak again, "Whe-where did you hear about that?" he asked her. His face felt like it was on fire.

"Allison... she told off Ian about kissing people without their consent... so how was it? Is he as good a kisser as he looks?"

Lucas felt himself blush even more at that and looked down. "Better," he eventually managed his face still bright red underneath his snowy white fur.

"Not possible," Erin muttered with a dreamy look. "But very fun to imagine, shame he's gay... so... did you enjoy it?"

"I... I don't know... He caught me by surprise honestly I wasn't prepared for it and I was terrified because we were in the middle of the hallways... Wait how does Allison know about the kiss?" he asked confused.

Erin just shrugged, "I came to the conclusion Allison knows everything..." she admitted. "I really don't know how she knew, but I don't know all that much about her... we're classmates yes but..." She shrugged it off briefly and watched him eat. After he finished and the dish was washed, the siblings started on homework and eventually Lucas found himself sitting outside reading his book.

"You know, I have no idea why you still have that thing... what's the point of having a book you can't even read?" Erin asked as she sat down next to him. She had been practicing her gymnastics on the patio.

"It's probably the only good gift father has ever given me... guess it's a sentimental thing..." he told her blandly. She had a point... what was the point of keeping a book you couldn't even read? It was a handsome thing... It was made of some kind of material Lucas had never seen before. The cover was snowy white and the binding was a dark grey. It had the same funny runes that appeared inside, "Besides I think I might be close to decoding it..."

"Maybe so... but," she was interrupted when he felt something strange... he felt... light... he didn't like this light... it felt... wrong. He noticed something coming at them they looked like large birds with little white wings on their backs and clawed hands and feet... they were heading right for them.

"Erin move!" he said jerking her behind him. He quickly grabbed the pole he used to clean the pool and held it like a club. The bird things were closing in and that terrible light was getting stronger. He could feel Erin behind him trembling in terror and that gave him the ability to swallow his own. He wouldn't let them hurt his sister. Not over his dead body! Once one of them got close he swung and hit the thing sending it flying into the pool. He swung again hitting another but it dodged and he was hit by a ball of light that sent him flying back a bit. He managed to get back up slowly and was about to try to hit it again before he heard a chilling voice.

"What? No magic little dark one?" The voice asked in a mocking tone. The voice was airy cold and... beautiful. "I expected more of a fight... disappointing."

"Ma-magic? Magic isn't real!" Lucas yelled at the voice. The voice only gave a cold chuckle. "Where are you? Come out here coward!" he kept on hollering. The voice made the fur on the back of his neck stand on end.

"You know very little, dark one... so very little... now... give me that book! And I'll leave you be..."

"Book? No! This book is mine! You can't have it!" he said grabbing the book holding it close. "Get your own!" The voice only chucked again. Lucas hated that chuckle!

"Oh? What about you little wind shifter?" the voice asked. He seemed to be referring to Erin. 'Dark one? Wind Shifter? What was this voice talking about?' His thoughts rang out confused... He felt Erin react to the voice.

"Ah, yes I got your attention now... come to me wind shifter... I can give you so much power. Come to me... I won't hurt you I promise..."

"Don't listen to it Erin!" he ordered her. "What are you? What are these things?" he demanded.

"Wouldn't you like to know dark one?" the voice taunted, "Now girl, come to me!"

Lucas felt Erin stand up as if transfixed by the voice and began to walk towards the bird things...

"Erin... Erin get back here!!" He said reaching and grabbing her arm pulling her back to him.

"But the voice Luc! It's so beautiful..." She muttered enamoured with the speech.

"Cover your ears Erin! Don't listen to it!" he said... The birds had surrounded them... they were trapped... "Please, somebody... help..." he muttered.

~~~~
Ian felt restless. He had a feeling something bad was happening somewhere... He lost focus and was hit in the stomach by a large Earth disk sending him flying onto his ass. "Ow... shit!" he cried grabbing his midriff. That disk had hit pretty hard.
"You lost focus Ian! What's wrong with you?" He heard Greg's voice coming closer. He heard the tiger bend down next to him, "You never lost focus in training before... are you okay?"
"I'm fine... it's just I got a bad feeling..." he told the other boy. Greg looked thoughtful.
"Is it about Lucas?" he asked.
Ian just shook his head... he didn't know what the feeling was about but he just felt nervous. He heard Richard walk up to them, "Wow Ian, he got you good! You're off form!"
He glared at his brother, "Fuck off!" he muttered.
"What? I'm just saying Greg would never have nailed you like that if you were completely focused... what's on your mind?"
"Says he has a bad feeling about something..."
"The Kit?" Richard asked sounding concerned. Ian just nodded. Richard looked towards the clock "It's pretty late... but maybe we can try and sneak out to check up on him," Richard reasoned. "We can just check up on him and Erin maybe say hi and come right back home!"
"What? Sneak out? Are you crazy!? We are not sneaking out!" Greg reasoned but he noticed Ian had that damn look on his face... he had already decided what he was going to do. "Ian... we are not..." He didn't even get to finish his sentence when Ian ran to his room to put some warmer clothes on. "Hey Richard, talk some sense into yo..." He turned around and saw Richard was also heading to his own room. "Grr... Dammit! Why do they never listen to me?" he muttered.
He looked down at what he was wearing. He wasn't wearing a shirt and he only had a pair of shorts on. Definitely not suitable for the night so he went to his own room.
It was pretty nice a bit smaller than either of the brothers. It was a bit Spartan. He had little more than a bed and his dresser in there but he had lots of plants though. He was always good with plants... he wondered if being an Earth-Mage was the reason? He looked at one of the pictures on the wall. It was a picture of a tall Tiger man standing beside a somewhat smaller female tiger. The man had the same orange stripped fur he had, but the woman's fur was pure white. He felt himself tear up. In the woman's arms was a little tiger around a year old... that was him... before the raid that took his parent's lives.
"Mother, Father... I hope I can make you proud," he said to the picture. He stared at it for several minutes before he heard a knock on his door.
"Hey man, we're leaving... you coming?" he heard Ian ask before he noticed Greg was looking at the old picture. His eyes softened as he entered the older boy's room and hugged his friend. Greg stiffened a bit and Ian had to smile. "I'm not coming on to you... I still love you but I think I'm over it... I will probably always have feelings for you but I've moved on..."
"You've fallen for Lucas haven't you?" Greg asked calmly. He was glad Ian was getting over him. He did love Ian... but as a little brother... He felt Ian nod.
"Yes, I love him Greg... I can't let anything happen to him... I don't care if he is a mundane..."
Greg sighed..."I will support you in any way I can Ian. However you must be sure Lucas feels the same way... So... how do you plan on telling your parents that you're not only gay but in love with a mundane? That's... a bit of a big announcement..."
Ian just shrugged. He hadn't thought about that one yet.
"Um... I'll have to deal with that when it comes to it..." Ian told him blushing while Greg face-palmed of course he hadn't...
"We'll figure it out... but leave I am going to change and I prefer to do that in privacy." He hated to admit it but he still didn't feel comfortable around Ian enough to let him see him nude... he hated himself for that but... Ian just nodded and walked out.
Greg quickly pulled off his shorts and looked down. He didn't have a sheath like the brothers... it was always awkward when they were little and bathed together to see how different he was down there. He sighed and put on a pair of boxers and a pair of loose blue-jeans if he needed to fight he need not be restricted by tight clothing. He also put on a dark green sweeter and stepped out. Both Ian and Richard were waiting for him.
"Hey about time man, we were just about to leave you behind." Richard said to him.
"You would do no such thing," Greg fired right back. He would be damned if he would let them go into what could be a warzone without him there to get them out. "Let's go... the longer we wait the larger the chances we won't be able to do this," he said going upstairs the brothers only looked towards each other before following the big tiger.
They managed to slip out of the house. Thankfully Jordan seemed to have turned in early. Something Greg was thankful for... he would have a hard time explaining to the man as to where he and the man's sons were going so late... Once they got outside Greg turned towards Richard, "Hey Richard, do you think you can make some mist to hide our movements?"
"I-I don't know... I'm not good with controlling mist... I can manage water and ice fine, but I can't make mist," he said looking down.
Ian quickly put a hand on the wolf's shoulder. "If you can change between water and ice, why not mist? Mist is made up of water-vapour isn't it?" he asked.
Richard nodded before speaking, "Yeah but mist is mostly tied to air... I'm no good with air magic so..." He shrugged, "I can turn mist back to water, but I can't change water to mist... I'll need more training with air before I can do it..." he said.
The other two nodded. They decided to make a path through the forest so there was no need to be seen. Ian was in the front while Greg himself hung back. He was trying to focus on the surroundings in case someone tried to ambush them. He managed to see the wall surrounding Lucas' house. Ian and Richard both stopped and let him take the lead. It was made of stone... good.
"Will you do the honours Greg?" Ian asked and Greg nodded. He went up to the stone wall and thrust his paws to it. The wall shook a bit and Greg widened his stance. He then moved his arms making the wall split open at the middle he took a breath and pulled harder making the opening large enough to enter. They saw what looked like the pool area and Luc being attacked by what looked like large angry birds with snowy white wings... angel wings... Angels! Why where they attacking a mundane? As soon as Ian saw Lucas was in trouble he howled angrily and charged right towards the angels.
"Get away from him!"
~~~~

'Is this it?' Lucas thought to himself. He was growing tired and that damned voice kept on laughing, taunting him. He had to protect Erin... she had passed out behind him and lay on the bench. He kept on swinging his makeshift weapon but those damn birds kept on dodging them. One eventually managed to get past his guard and the creature sank its beak into his right arm causing him to whimper in pain. He managed to throw the thing off and grabbed his arm it was bleeding the blood staining his fur pink.

He was just about to give up before he saw the stone wall at the edge of the property shake. 'Now what?' he thought to himself as he was surprised to see the wall begin to open and he saw a very tall tiger behind them... 'Greg?' he thought to himself. 'How did he do that?' He noticed two black furred wolves behind the tiger...

One of them ran up towards them calling, "Get away from him!"

'Ian?' he thought and was surprised when he saw Ian's paws were covered in fire...'Wha?'

He was even more shocked when he saw Ian throw the fire at one of the birds, incinerating it. Richard come up next and settled by the pool not even pausing he moved his arms and water came up from the pool floating around him.

'What is going on?' he thought as Richard moved again swinging the water like a whip and swatting away several of the birds. Greg came up last. Stomping, several small boulders came up from the ground he sent them forward in a way that almost looked like boxing, smashing several more birds. He quickly changed stance and with a forceful uppercut and a large pillar of earth came from the ground knocking several more birds away only to be incinerated by the flames coming from Ian's hands. Soon enough between the three teens all the birds were gone. Before disappearing he heard the voice say one more thing.

"Looks like you have friends... but take this as a warning dark one. This will not be the last time we meet..." The voice's presence as well as the burning light faded and Lucas felt his legs give out from under him.

Ian quickly grabbed him and held him to his chest, "You okay little guy?" he asked as he snuggled Lucas into a tight hug.

Lucas felt his face burn as if on fire and looked down away from the tall wolf trying not to let him see the blush. He felt Ian put his muzzle on top of his head and held him even closer.

"Ye-yeah... I-I gu-guess I'm okay..." he stuttered somewhat still in shock from what had happened. He was trying to figure out what was going on... he was attacked by weird bird things before Ian showed up and began shooting fire from his hands. "How did you do that? Shoot fire? And what were those things?"

Ian just gave a nervous chuckle... "Magic... I used Fire magic; I'm pretty good with fire... I'm a Light mage though... those were Angels... or a type of angel anyway... Light wouldn't do much against them... why were they attacking you?" he asked.

Lucas just laughed... the other boy had to be kidding... magic? Angels? This must be a dream... he was never eating chocolate before bedtime ever again.

"What's so funny?" he heard Ian asked his ears drooping somewhat.

"Magic isn't real... and angels really? Either you are a complete nutcase or this is the weirdest dream I've had... yes... this is just a dream... I had way to much chocolate before bed... never again," he muttered giggling helplessly as Ian only growled in annoyance.

"This isn't a dream Lucas..." he told the fox.

Lucas just looked the wolf right in the eye and said to his face, "Prove it!"

Ian just smiled and grabbed Lucas and kissed him. Lucas blush darkened even more and he let his eyes close returning it. He ignored the shouting in his head and just let his body take over. It felt like an eternity before he heard someone give an uncomfortable cough. Lucas quickly broke the kiss and saw it was Richard who interrupted them.

"Um... Ian, you know the Kit's injured right?" he said as Lucas suddenly remembered his arm was bleeding.

Ian grabbed it and took a look while Lucas winced in pain, "Um... sorry Lucas... that thing got you good didn't he? We'll need to clean it out... are we able to go inside?" Lucas nodded but looked towards Erin who was still unconscious on the bench. Ian noticed this and smiled, "Greg will carry her. So show us where you stay so we can clean this out before it gets infected.

Lucas just nodded not looking towards the taller boy. He was now somewhat angry... he'd stolen another kiss and what's worse he'd returned it. His head really hurt, as did his arm. But he knew one thing for certain... this wasn't a dream...
