Poem

It's like a dream

That's suddenly come to life

Heart quickening

And breath catching

Setting me aflame

Your voice is sweet

With the words you speak

Pouring honey over my skin

And seeping through my soul

You take me as I come

And in the end

You leave me breathless

I keep those words

In that voice

That you call out my name

Telling me over

And over again

You love me

I'm your's

Like the sweetest melody

That must never leave these pages

It's where I trap the memories

As precious as they are

They'll always belong

Between these sheets

A serene and wonderful place

Made just

For you and me...
