For Love of Love 16: A Turn For The Worse, Part 3
#16 of For Love of Love
Jamie stared blankly at the masked Digimon. Maybe he couldn\'t use Chaos against him, but he was only one Digimon. Between Lex, Jes, Jean and Angie—three Megas and an Infinity, they had to be able to destroy him.
"I\'d like to stay and chat, really I would...but we\'ve got a flight home that we have to get back to the Real World for." Jamie turned around and started to leave; he could feel Jean\'s hand gripping his own tightly; she was obviously very afraid.
"I WILL NOT BE IGNORED!" The Digimon yelled at them. He obviously wasn\'t used to not getting his way; that was too bad. "I am an Adjudicator of the Inner Councils, and you will all stand trial for your actions, whether you would like to or not!"
"So...what?" Jamie stared at the \'Adjudicator\'--whatever the hell that was supposed to mean—with as apathetic a gaze as he could manage. "You punish people for caring? Talk about wacked..."
"You would do wise to remember our purpose, human, for it serves you well. We keep them out of your world so that it may remain free of their destruction! It is regrettable, yes, that we must resort to disciplining our own agents, but these are trying times." As he was talking, the Digimon—Jamie couldn\'t even remember the title that he had given himself—was scribbling something on a scroll with a long, thin piece of metal. When he finished the sentence, that piece of paper was dropped to the floor, and the whole room around him disappeared in a flash of bright white light. It was replaced by a large, circular chamber that reminded Jamie of pictures he had seen of the Colosseum in Rome, only much taller. Seated high above the small group of Digimon and humans in the center were four more of those cherub-things. He didn\'t know if they were the same, and he didn\'t care enough to ask any of the Digimon who might have been able to tell him.
"What have you brought, Adjudicator?"
"One traitor, two humans, two Viri, and ... an Angewomon, Councilor." he bowed briefly in the direction of the one that had spoken—they were arranged with one in each direction of the compass—before he continued. "I do not know the specifics of their relationship, only that they tried to aid in the traitor\'s escape."
"You speak as if Jean has already been judged upon, Adjudicator. That is for us to decide, not you." came a tenor voice from the south.
"My apologies..." that statement didn\'t seem to make the white-masked Digimon very happy, but that ... cherub thing or whatever probably wasn\'t looking out for their safety, he was probably just looking for a better reason to kill Jean.
"You shouldn\'t have come," Jean whispered. She pressed herself against his side in what was obviously her attempt at hugging him, but she could only do so much with her hands tied behind her back. Jamie hugged her and tried to rub the back of her head soothingly.
"Be silent!" the Adjudicator snapped. Jamie scowled at him.
"What is the nature of the charges brought against the Inderdictor."
"She failed to complete her mission because she witnessed these two fornicating," he gestured at Lex, then at Angie; Lex, the poor thing, looked absolutely terrified and was turning Angie\'s skin white where he was clinging to her. Angie just looked guilty, probably because she couldn\'t do anything. "She shunned her orders to return; Councilors had to go to the Real World in person to bring her back.
"Is that the extent of her actions?" the little cherub from the southern point of the building asked; his voice was more disinterested than anything else.
"She also attempted to escape custody," the Adjudicator said.
"Perhaps...but none of this is grounds for summary execution."
"What of the humans?" the one on the eastern side asked. "What do they have for themselves?"
"Speak," the white-masked Digimon said to them, rather harshly.
"...you\'re all crazy!" Jamie yelled, closing his eyes tightly.
The room fell oddly silent for a few months, with no one saying anything for at least half of a minute. It started to make Jamie nervous for a few second, making him wonder if it was a good idea to insult the people who were holding him in custody.
"I\'m more interested in the Angewomon," one of the Digimon who hadn\'t spoken yet said. "Are you sure that she is with these Viri by choice, and she isn\'t being somehow controlled by them?"
Jamie frowned, watching as Lex somehow managed to cling to Angie even tighter than he was before. Why couldn\'t anyone understand that they could fall in love just like anyone; who or what they were didn\'t matter one bit.
* * * * * * * *
Angie didn\'t usually get angry...she liked to think that she was a nice Digimon, but this was just...wrong. This was all wrong. It was Digimon like this that made him so paranoid about everything, even how much she loved him. His claws were digging into her sides, and it was starting to hurt quite badly, but she didn\'t want to make him feel bad.
"Of course I\'m with them by choice!" she yelled angrily, even more angry than she had been with her earlier outburst in the center. "Oliver\'s my Tamer, and I\'m in love with Lex! Yes, he\'s a Virus, but he\'s not like what you think! He cares about me, loving, and affectionate! He\'s a lot nicer than all of you!" Lex\'s grip loosened a little, but remained clinging tightly to her. She rubbed his head as gently as she should, trying to be comforting to him.
"You\'re her mate?" They asked, obviously at Lex.
"I-I am!" he trembled. " I-I love her more than anything else, and I\'d do anything for her! She\'s been better to me than anyone I\'ve ever met in my life. She hasn\'t done anything other than be a loving, supporting mate to me. Please...just leave us alone." Angie smiled at Lex\'s compliments, giggling a tiny bit and rubbing his head soothingly. No one could kill anything as cute and loveable as Lex was. They just couldn\'t...there\'d be no reason to do anything like that to him...
"It is not your place to question the judgment of the Councils," one of them answered quickly. Angie made a \'hmph\' sound—they obviously didn\'t have a real answer other than that. "She has consorted with you, and she will be judged with the rest of you."
Lex\'s grip tightened back to the painful intensity it had been at its intensity before, then passed it.
"A-Angie..." Lex\'s claws dug deeper into her sides—he could feel the claws breaking her skin again in slightly different places than before. "I need you now..."
"W-what...?" she looked down at him, putting her hands on his shoulders. "What do you mean, Lexie?" she whispered. Did he really have a way out of this? If he did...that would be so wonderful...they\'d be able to finally go home and be together, and she could have her child with him, and be a mother...
"To Digivolve. I need you to access my Infinity form...I don\'t have one of my own. I promise I won\'t anyone, Angie...I just don\'t want it to end here, Angie; for either one of us." Angie smiled a little. She didn\'t want it to end here either...
"Okay, Lexie...what do I do?"
"I\'m not really sure..I\'ve never done this before. Just don\'t resist. I\'m pretty sure that it won\'t work if you do that."
She nodded. Lex closed his eyes for a few seconds, then suddenly looked up at her and kissed her. It was a long, passionate kiss. Angie cooed quietly...this wasn\'t what she was expecting; she was thinking they were just going to merge or something. As she slid her hands along Lex\'s back, she vaguely heard the combined voices of the Adjudicator and one or two of the Digimon that were sitting on the benches above them, but she couldn\'t make out the words because she was too busy making out.
Then she felt something weird. At first, it felt like Lex was just getting close to her, then it felt like he was getting inside her. Opening her eyes in surprise at the sensation, she saw that the two of them were surrounded by a bright, blinding column of red and white light. She shivered as she slowly lost the feeling of herself.
Every sensation she had; the feeling of the air against her skin, little breezes of air made by the other\'s movements ruffling her feathers, the feeling of her long, blonde hair against her back; all of it disappeared for a few moments. For a few split seconds, she worried that Lex had screwed up and killed both of them, but then new sensations replaced them.
Hi, Angie...
* * * * * * *
The two of them could communicate to each other just by thinking now. At first, it was just a flood of emotions; the most intense love that either one of them had ever experienced. Language wasn\'t sufficient to communicate what the two of them felt conjoined like this and able to communicate without having to try to put their feelings into words. They felt each other\'s feeling for each other in
the natural language of emotion. It started with a little bit of doubt and hesitation, then escalated as they were finally able to form thoughts.
Ohh, Angie...all of those things you said about me, you meant all of them.
{mospagebreak}Of course...they\'re all true.
A flood of even more powerful love and relief went through their collective mind. The Digimon made up of Lex and Angie\'s combined code looked down at itself. It was tall; very tall. It didn\'t even have a form, really...just a kind of tall column of black, red and white smoke with the ability to manipulate objects. It had a long staff with a black crystal orb on one end and a white crystal orb on the other end.
The Digital World just seemed to make more sense now...it could blow up this whole layer if it wanted to, but neither consciousness inside the Digimon wanted to do that. All of the other Digimon in the room seemed to know its capabilities now, and they all seemed to be preparing to attack it.
"Celestial Wrath!" A beam of white light emanated simultaneously from all five hostile Digimon in the room. That would have killed both Angie and Lex several times over if they had been in their own forms, but now that they were joined together into one form, deflecting the attack away from it didn\'t even require that they move.
More curiously than anything else, it twirled its staff in one complete turn to see exactly what it was capable of. Jean\'s bonds broke after a moment, the chimera Digimon was happy when it saw Jean and Jamie finally able to hug each other again. This seemed to infuriate the white-masked Digimon, who promptly attacked it again.
"Celestial Wrath!" The white-masked Digimon tried to attack it again. Rather than just letting the attack deflect off of itself like it had the last time, the Chimera flipped its staff over, using one of the new attacks that it had.
"_ Excommunication Judgement. _" A scroll materialized off to the side of the new Digimon. It unrolled itself dramatically off to the side, then a candle appeared off to the other side of it, which quickly blew itself out.
* * * * * *
Jes could literally feel how powerful this Digimon that had taken the place of Lex and Angie, and it was taking every ounce of will she had not to run out of the room and get as far away from all of this as possible. Whatever they had become, it was the most powerful thing that she had ever seen in her life, and it scared the shit out of her, the way it just ignored attacks that would reduce the rest of them to a cloud of dust seventeen times over.
She cringed against Oliver as it first used its attack. The Adjudicator had been standing next to her, and even though there wasn\'t anything visual in the attack other than what was going around around Lex and Angie, she could actually feel the attack going by her. Clinging to Oliver, she watched to see what happened.
The Digimon growled slightly and gave the new Digimon a very dirty look; a look that suddenly and without explanation turned into one of extreme fear.
"_ Int _..." The Digimon looked down at its hands blankly as if it had lost something. "I don\'t remember any of my attacks..."
Jes grinned, briefly considering extending her claws all the way and using them to permanently remove the Digimon\'s bowels. She hadn\'t done anything like that for quite a while. Maybe Lex and {mospagebreak}Angie, or whatever they wanted to call themselves as they were now would do something like that for them.
"Show-off." Jes grinned slightly. In any case, whatever they...it...decided to do, it looked like her time with Oliver wasn\'t over. That also meant that Jamie and Jean\'s time together wasn\'t over, which would hopefully mean that Jamie would start being slightly less pathetic than usual.
"If you think you have any power over us now, you\'re very mistaken." It\'s voice was ... interesting. It sounded like Lex and Angie were talking at the exact same time. Really, it was pretty creepy...
"Well..." one of the four Digimon that had been in charge of this whole trial or whatever, whose voice sounded much less menacing than it had a few minutes ago, said. "The Council does not believe there is enough evidence to rule in favor of summary execution of the Interdictor. Jean...you are hereby dismissed from the order and the Citadel. You...all of you...are free to leave."
Jes grinned at the white-masked Digimon, who was still looking blankly down at his hands. That whole \'practicing gutting with her claws\' thing was starting look like a better and better idea.
"You guys just know you got owned," Jes grinned at him. She wasn\'t going to attack him; for one thing, she probably wouldn\'t get a lot of satisfaction out of it, and for another thing, Lex and Angie would probably stop her anyway, so there wasn\'t much of a point.
The Digimon that had taken Lex and Angie\'s place flipped its staff over a few times until a large portal like the kind Jamie had somehow made using his Digivice appeared, leading back to their hotel room. Jamie and Jean, who were now holding hands that their bonds had been released, were the first to go through. Next went Oliver, and then she went herself so that she wouldn\'t be left behind. That was the last thing the needed...
* * * * * * * *
Jamie and Jean immediately went back to Jamie\'s room. Jean felt...different. She had known since the moment that she had forgone her duty, not killed Lex, and started living with a human, but now that she had been told to her face that she was no longer an Interdictor, it just felt different.
"Jamie..." she coughed again, still able to feel and taste the blood in the back of her throat from the damage that they had done to her in the Underground. "Thank you for saving me." She smiled sweetly at him.
"I didn\'t really do anything, Jean...you should really be thanking Lex and Angie, not me."
"Don\'t be ridiculous. You did everything that you could..." he bent his head down so she didn\'t have to and gave her a kiss: a long, loving kiss that felt like it could go on forever. It probably could have, too, if Jamie hadn\'t realized that she had blood in the back of her throat. He promptly took a card from his pocket and swiped it through his digivice. The leftover pain that she was feeling—and the blood—immediately left her body.
"There\'s something I\'ve been wanting to do since I met you, Jean ... but I haven\'t had the time." He turned around and fiddled a little with his Digivice.
"Jamie," she said exasperatingly once she realized that was summoning chaos from the depths of the Digital World. "Don\'t bring that here, it\'s not--" when he turned around and she saw what he had {mospagebreak}turned it into, she immediately brightened. "Oooh, flowers," she cooed happily, taking the blue-petaled flower from Jamie\'s hand and pressing it against the tip of her muzzle to smell it before biting off the petals and chewing them, which was something she loved to do when she had spare time on one of the more vegetated layers of the Digital World. "I love flowers."
"That\'s not what human girls usually do when someone gives them flowers, Jean, but I guess if it works for you..." he giggled, kissed the tip of her muzzle affectionately, then put her down on the bed. "If you like flowers, you\'ll like this park near the place that I live."
"Jamie...?" she asked, laying down on the bed, crossing her legs and looking up at him. "Do you have any family back home?"
"Of course I do...I live with my mother and my brother."
"Do you think they\'ll like me?"
"I\'m sure they\'ll like you, Jean..." Jamie said. Jean was pretty sure he had something about his brother probably liking her a lot more, but she wasn\'t sure about what he was mumbling. "I don\'t think my mom will really like the idea of us being together as mates, but she\'ll have to get over it, \'cause there\'s no way that\'s going to stop me."
Jean relaxed and let him start stroking her shoulders like he always did. It always felt so nice when he did that. It felt relaxing...as Jamie did that, she turned onto her back to give him better access and startedd thinking about what it would be like living in the humans\' world. She had known that she was never going to be able to go back to her old life the moment she realized that she couldn\'t kill Lex and Jes, but somehow it just felt more permanent now that she had been formally banished from the Citadel. There was no going back now.
"Something bothering you, Jean? You feel tense...does something hurt? Do you need me to heal you again?"
"No, I was just thinking what it\'s going to be like living here."
"Jes was like that when she first got here. She didn\'t talk to me like you do, but you could tell. I think she just kind of found a new place for herself."
"But I don\'t want to be Jes, Jamie. I want to be me."
"You don\'t have to be Jes." he grinned a little at her. "You just have to be you."
"... how long until we go to your home?" she rolled over onto her back and looked up at the ceiling. Jamie continued rubbing her upper chest. She tried to imagine what that park was like that Jamie had told her about...she would probably be spending a lot of time there; hopefully most of it would be with Jamie.
"I\'m going to see if I can get some tickets home tomorrow."
"Tickets? What do those do?"
"You give them to some humans and an airport, then they let you on a plane," Jamie explained, skipping her breasts and slipping her hands into her robes to rub her stomach. Jean had no idea {mospagebreak}what these \'airport\' and \'plane\' were, but she was sure that Jamie had her best interests at heart. She trusted him ... she trusted him more than she had ever trusted anyone else, even her superiors in the Citadel whom she had been trained to trust for her whole life. What did that mean? Did that mean that her life before this meant nothing because it wasn\'t what really made her happy, and therefore wasn\'t really made for her.
She kept thinking about that for a few minutes as Jamie\'s fingers pressed into her stomach. Part of her thought that none of that mattered anymore—the only thing that was important was that she was with Jamie now, and that made her happy. The rest of her disagreed, though...she wouldn\'t be the same person if she hadn\'t experienced what she had experienced.
"Jean...you used to like this. Is something wrong?"
"No...there\'s nothing wrong. I\'m just wondering who I am."
"What do you mean?"
"I don\'t really know..."
"Then don\'t worry about it."
She giggled a little...the way he said that, he made it sound like everything she was thinking about was completely ridiculous and that she should be more worried about the here and now, being with Jamie and adjusting to her new life. Maybe he was right about that and she shouldn\'t be thinking about things like that now. She should be happy about all of this, not sad.
* * * * * * * *
Lex separated himself from Angie mid-way through the portal. He had wanted to talk to the Digimon who had been giving Jean her trial and try to convince them that what they were doing was wrong, but the other part of whatever they had become disagreed and just wanted to go.
When they emerged from the portal, Lex was holding Angie under her knees and back, kissing her gently. Being so close to Angie, being the same thing as Angie was at the same time, was absolutely intoxicating. He hadn\'t thought about it at the time, but when they joined, they were able to communicate without communicating...their thoughts became one...it was wonderful. All of the doubts he had about Angie\'s love were gone.
This wonderful, beautiful woman that he was holding in his arms loved him...she loved him just as much as he loved her, and there was nothing either one of them could do to change their feelings. He could be as open with her as he wanted without having to worry...
"That was fun..." Angie giggled. For the first time—for the first real time—Lex giggled carelessly with her, kissing her happily before answering.
"I never knew that I could do it...I couldn\'t have done it without you, Angie..." he kissed her again, lowering her down a little more than before, enough for her to be standing on her own, although she was still leaning heavily against Lex. He could feel the parts of her warm flesh that were left exposed by her outfit pressing against him. Curling his tail around her exposed leg, he let her breathe for a moment before dipping her the rest of the way toward the ground, then climbing onto her stomach and straddling her.
"Heehee...you don\'t want to rest first?"
"If you want," Lex answered, resting his claws on her lower chest beneath her breasts. "I just feel so loved, I can\'t hold it in."
"Is this about what you were thinking when we were ... together?"
"Yep..." Lex smiled happily, almost knowing what she was going to say. He listened to Angie, moving his foreclaw in a small circle around her stomach.
"You could have always talked to me, Lexie...I didn\'t know you were worried I wouldn\'t love you if I found anything out about you?"
"I know that now, Angie... since we\'re being honest, do you want me to tell you?"
"Tell me what? Oh, the things you\'ve done that you\'re nervous about?"
"Yes..." Lex could barely bring himself to think of some of the memories, but if Angie wanted to hear about it and she wouldn\'t leave him on account of her knowing them, she deserved to know. Especially because some of them would probably worry her...he didn\'t think that they had access to each other\'s memories while they were joined in that Infinity form. They probably hadn\'t been in it long enough for a link to develop that could do that.
"Only if you want to, Lexie...I\'ll still love you if you don\'t. I mean, I don\'t want to pressure you...I know how much they bother you."
"Well..." maybe he could give her a general idea without giving away all of the nasty bits. "Sometimes I go to sleep, and when I wake up, I don\'t wake up in the same place that I remember going to sleep..."
"What do you mean?"
"I...when I was asleep, it\'s like someone else takes control of my body. Another me. When I\'m like that, I do .. ... ... ... things ... ... " he started crying, remembering the faces of some of the Digimon that he had killed, and some of the grotesque ways in which he had killed them.
"Okay, Lexie...I understand..." Two warm hands felt their way up to the sides of muzzle and held it there for a loving kiss from the Angewomon they were attached to. "I know it\'s hard for you, Lex...you\'re a Virus, but you don\'t want to be. I don\'t know if that\'s normal for Viruses, but I\'m sure now that you have a tamer, you won\'t have to deal with anything like that again..."
That hadn\'t occurred to him. Whenever it happened, he always told himself that it was going to be the last time, and it usually was, at least for a few months, maybe a year if he was lucky. It seemed like whenever his life started getting worse than usual, something like that would happen. He had never even fathomed what it would be like if it happened here...Angie had to be right. Now that he wasn\'t a wild Digimon anymore, his life was perfect, so something like that could never happen now.
"R-right...thanks, Angie." he rested his head on her breasts and sighed, happy that he had someone who would never throw him away because of the things he had done.
"You know,Jean is a Vaccine, and doesn\'t really want to be. Have you thought about talking with her? Maybe she feels the same way...I don\'t, but I never really did anything..."
"Maybe I\'ll talk to her tomorrow...I just want to be with you tonight," he answered, holding her hand and giving her another kiss.
"Oh, Lex..."
"Angie..."
"I love you," they both said at the same time, which brought them both into a giggling fit.
Then they rolled around for a little while, each one trying to get the better of the other. As they rolled around, they started taking off each other\'s clothes while pretending they were just fondling; Lex knew what Angie was doing, and he knew that Angie knew what he was doing, but he didn\'t care—it was fun anyway, and before long, they had left their clothes underneath them and were alternating who was on top while in an embrace, lips and tongues locked together in a long, passionate kiss. Lex wrapped his tongue around Angie\'s a number of times and then tightened it, which she seemed to like, then Angie started rubbing his sides, making his blood flow faster throughout his body. He took his tongue—and his Angewomon friends\', as it was still tightly in the grip of his own, and started sucking, which drew a sensual moan from his mate.
Lex snuck his head down near Angie\'s crotch without touching her, then slipped a finger over her entrance just as her eyes closed so she wouldn\'t see. She arched her back as some fluid dribbled over his hand. Lex stared for a moment at his mate, then spread Angie\'s legs and got underneath them.
"Annh...Lex...I want your tongue..."
"Only if I can have yours afterwards...." Angie didn\'t answer for a moment, which surprised Lex. He looked up at her to see what was wrong, only to see her with a large, sensual grin on her face.
"Why wait until after?" They both giggled again, then rolled around some more to see who was going to be on top. Lex won again, and climbed on top of a backwards Angie. He had to almost lay down on top of her because she was taller than he was, but it worked out in the end. He rested his chin between Angie\'s spread-out, legs-drawn-up crotch for a few moments while Angie coaxed his dick out from within him by licking at it and pressing fingers into his internal sheath, which was a new and extremely pleasurable experience for him.
"Ahh...Angie..."
"Ready?" she giggled a little, obviously enjoying what was happening. Lex turned around and nodded, his tail swishing happily above her head. She giggled again, ducking underneath him and starting to suck on him. He immediately moaned loudly at the vaccum his tip was put into, and almost came on the spot. It took a squeeze from Angie\'s thighs for him to realize the position he was in, and it was then that he started nibbling at Angie\'s entrance, using his hands to open up her lips and slide his long, prehensile tongue in.
"Mmff..." both of them moaned in unison. Lex was finding this whole experience very exciting...for a moment, he pictured himself in Angie\'s place, having his tongue driven farther and farther into her while coaxing a male\'s seed out using nothing but her mouth. Imagining himself as a female got him going even more, and he started thrusting against Angie\'s mouth a little bit to maximize the pleasure, while trying to do the same for her by hooking his tongue upwards and curling it around what seemed to be that spot where she really liked to be touched. Pressing his muzzle tightly against her pussy, he wiggled his tongue around almost wildly in an effort to pleasure her.
She copied him, starting to thrust her head upwards and taking more and more of his dick into her mouth until his tip was well into her throat. Lex started panting through his nostrils, resisting every urge he had to start thrusting wildly against Angie\'s throat until he could bring himself to a shivering orgasm.
Angie was the first to go, which surprised Lex; just as soon as he was thinking that it was surprising, he gushed into Angie\'s throat. Both of them eagerly sucked and swallowed the juices of the other, and it was only a few seconds before they were holding each other under the covers, the happiest they\'ve ever been.
