#9 of Poetry

A poem about critical thinking in regards to the why of life, and all its contradictions.

The Question Why

Love has no love

Death has no end

Life is not living

Honesty isn't truth

Justice is unfair

Nature is civilized

Organized into chaos

Sanity drives the insane

Body fueled by mind

To befriend an enemy

Pay the cost for freedom

Kindness is its own cruelty

Sight is blind

Believing in doubt

Safety in paranoia

Darkness among the light

Dream of nightmares

Fall into moonrise

Rise with the sunset

Mysteriously clear

Reveal the unveiled

Confine the well-known

But let the ever-present

Question be; Let it remain

As Why?
