For Love of Love 6: A Newcomer Approaches
#6 of For Love of Love
Jamie raised an eyebrow at Lex and Angie. There was something he didn\'t really need to see. Every so often, when he got really horny, he might find himself thinking about Jes like that, but that was only once in a great while, like when he knew she was in the shower, or when his brother was staring at her with that obviously desirous gaze that he always looked at her with. Once, his fool of a brother—a fur—tried to make a pass at Jes, which didn\'t end favorably for Tom; it had ended up with him on the floor with a fracture and more than a few bruisers. After seeing that, the idea of thinking about Jes as a girl didn\'t resurface for a while.
“Right...” he said, trying to take his mind off of the subject. “Is anyone hungry? I\'m thinking about going out to get some food.” All three of the Digimon in the room immediately turned to look at him.
“Food? ... I want chicken,” Jes announced in her usual way, not giving him much of an option. Whenever he went out to get food, for some reason, she always insisted on getting chicken. As far as he knew, she hadn\'t even tried anything else. Maybe she was just a picky eater. He didn\'t know.
“Food?” Lex hopped out of the shower and turned his head upwards at Jamie. “I like food! I haven\'t eaten in a while.”
“Me neither,” Angie stepped out of the shower behind Lex and shook her wings, getting everybody in the room, Jamie included, at least a little wet.
“Alright, food it is then,” Jamie laughed lightly, drying his arms on his shirt. “I should be back in about twenty minutes; I saw someplace that looked good while we were walking over here.”
“I\'ll come with you; I\'m a picky eater.” Oliver quickly piped. Jamie grinned; he knew the type. He used to be the same way himself, when he had been younger. He almost asked the two soaking wet Digimon what they wanted him to bring back for them, but immediately realized that they probably would have no idea what they wanted anyway; he\'d just surprise them. Or let Oliver decide.

“I seek to serve, Control. What is my next assignment?” A female voice asked. The speaker was a short, white dragoness wearing light blue robes that perfectly matched the color of her eyes. She was kneeling in front of a glass wall in a tall, cathedral-esque structure with her head bowed straight to the ground out of respect, awaiting the response of her superior.
“You\'re a Mega now, Jean. Do you know what that means?”
“No, Control.” She knew exactly what it meant, but that was knowledge that was supposed to be forbidden to her, so she denied it. A pang of guilt, accompanied by one of fear, immediately rushed through her head at the realization that she had just lied to the Control; that could result in some very severe disciplinary action against her.
“It means that we can send you safely to the Real World.” If he had recognized that he had lied, he didn\'t say anything about it. Maybe he was being merciful. Being the Control, she was sure that he had her best interests at mind anyway.
“To what end, Control?” She already knew the answer to that question as well, but even if she hadn\'t, it would not have been difficult to figure it out. It would be the same task she was always given in the interests of civilized Digimon: the destruction of Viruses.
“To what end?” The voice inquired, repeating the question to her. “Why, safety, of course.”
“And my target?”
“Your target is a recently emerged Virus somewhere in the vicinity of where we are sending you. Being a Virus, he will probably hunt you down before you find him—that should not be a problem.”
“And what is his level?”
“He is a Mega, like you. But you have a significant type advantage over him—it should not prove to be much of an issue.”
“When do I leave, Control?”
“Twelve hours,” he responded. Her eyes, staring down at the floor, widened a little at the statement. Twelve hours was a long time to to have to herself; she assumed that it was for her to become accustomed to her new form.
“Thank you, Control.” she replied graciously and bowed her head even further. Once she was dismissed, she returned to her chambers and laid down on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. Time and time again had she done her duty to the Order. And time and time again she would continue to do so, until she wasn\'t able to do so anymore. She liked her work—it was fortunate that she had been selected to be an Interdictor, to stop the spread of destructive Virus Digimon. She was a guardian, a protector, and there was nothing that would ever change that. She enjoyed doing it, and she was respected for it. Sometimes though, when she was here in the City, just returning from an assignment, she would see some of the people that she was sworn and duty-bound to defend and protect. Sometimes, when she was mentally weak and found herself growing apprehensive about her function, she would just look back on all of the AntiViruses that she had saved by what she had done, and went about her duties with renewed vigor.
The newly-evolved Clerimon—newly evolved as she had just defeated a large group of small, yet nonetheless potentially threatening Viruses only a few layers below this one—got up and looked out her window, hoping to get a glimpse of the Digimon that she protected. They always looked so happy. They were happy because they didn\'t have to fight to keep themselves and their children safe. That responsibility fell on her instead—and the fact that she could do that for them, spending all of her life hunting down Viruses that wanted to hurt or destroy their way of life made her happy, even if it meant forsaking that kind of life for herself. That was alright; she wasn\'t trained in any of that anyway. She was just a fighter, a Clerimon after her mother, who was one of the few Interdictors who had survived a defeat and the disgrace afterward. It had been a disgrace for her, but after she took a mate and her daughter followed in her footsteps and trained to become an Interdictor herself, she had been so proud...
The one or two times a year that she had enough time to see her parents after returning from an assignment, she only got more and more proud of her. Those were the happiest times of her life. Looking out of her window at a small group of children being herded around by their parents, she wondered what her mother would think about her daughter having attained the same level that she had. Jean pictured her being proud. Very proud. Beaming, even. It had been quite a while since she had gotten such time to herself; maybe she would get some at the end of this assignment as a reward for success on her first assignment as a Mega. Unable to resist, the thoughts brought a small smile to her face.
“I should get some rest,” she told herself, laying back down on the small bed that served as her resting place while she was here. She knew that she had a lot ahead of her with this next mission, but she couldn\'t sleep. There was too much excitement in her to allow her to sleep. But there was no way she was going to go into battle with the opportunity to have been fully rested without even trying—especially with everything that had been done for her. She couldn\'t disappoint the city and its inhabitants. That wouldn\'t only bring her shame, but it would leave them at least a little more vulnerable to Viruses.
She looked down and started to undo her robe, which was clasped from the front in six different places. Sighing softly, she laid down on her bed, now completely naked. The white scales that covered her face matched the rest of her body in hue. Physically, she hadn\'t changed much from her previous form, except for the color of her scales. Where they had been a light gray before, they were now a pure bright white. From her curved, slender neck, those scales went downward and over two small, now-exposed breasts rising and falling with every breath she took. The shape of the especially long, horizontal ventral stomach were a perfect mirror of the curves of her waist, further accentuating the already ample curves that were there. The texture of her body grew visibly soft in the area between her legs, which was just as blanch-white and unblemished as the rest of her body. Her long, draconic tail sat limply off the side as she curled her body up and pulled the heavy, large blanket over her. It wasn\'t very soft or comfortable—it was actually quite scratchy and irritating—but she was thankful that it had been provided for her. She had a lot more than many of the other Interdictors, even though she had come from disgraced lineage. She had her own private chambers, which let her go without being robed while she was alone—something else that was forbidden to her to do that she did on a fairly regular basis. Obviously, that wasn\'t something she could do while she was on a mission that required her to accompany or lead others, since they all slept together and being disrobed at all—let alone in the presence of others—was expressly forbidden. She liked it, though, even if it was something that she wasn\'t supposed to.
Smiling to herself, she put her head down on the small pillow that sat at the head of her bed and closed her light blue eyes.

While the two tamers were off getting lunch, the Digimon were all grouped in front of what Oliver had called the ‘television’. Actually, Lex and Angie were grouped in front of it--Jes was sitting on the far corner of the bed, as far from her mate as she could possibly be. Ever since she had dropped down to her Rookie level, she had been doing everything she could to stay away from Lex. If he knew anything about why, he wasn’t showing it…but that bothered Angie. She didn’t want Jes to not like Lex.
Maybe it had something to do with Lex’s reaction when Oliver had ‘turned on’ the ‘television’. The first thing it did was produce a loud noise and Lex immediately teleported in front of Angie, standing with his knees bent and all ducked down like he was ready to destroy it for her. It had been kind of scary, even for Angie. She was about to sit down next to her and ask Jes about it, but a word flashed across the ‘television’ that grabbed all of her attention.
‘Digimon’.
Angie watched and listened with wide eyes at the Digimon in the ‘television.’ She giggled and smiled when she saw a Gatomon, assuming that he knew that she had been one once. Obviously, he did, because he was giggling with a similar pitch, smiling happily.
“I don’t get it,” Lex said, standing up when the fighting in the television stopped. He looked in front of the black box, then behind it, then came back with a depressing look that could only mean he didn’t find what he was looking for.
“You wouldn’t understand,” Jes said from the bed with her arms folded across her chest. The Digimon that everyone was fighting--Angie didn’t recognize what it was--defeated one of the good guys, prompting a sad noise from Lex, whose body drooped at the loss.
“Awie, Lex, it’s alright,” she said, giving him a hug. He smiled at her, took a hold of her hand, and started watching the television. Angie smiled happily when she saw a Gatomon digivolve into an Angewomon and started fighting the same Digimon that had killed the one Lex had liked. Stealing a glance over at her mate, she saw that he was grinning. As the two Digimon fought in the ‘television’, Lex’s face got ever-closer to the front of the black-box-thing until the front of his nose tapped against what sounded like glass.
“Morons...” Jes said. Angie was able to hear the comment, even though it was said under her breath. Angie giggled a little, shaking her head. She really didn’t understand Jes; she certainly knew a lot more about the Real World than either one of them, but she had never offered to share any of that knowledge with them. She stuck her tongue out at the BiRemon, turning her face back to watch what she was before. The Digimon that had died earlier, the one that Lex had liked, had returned as some kind of … ghost. Was that even possible? Knowing that her mate was quite intelligent, she looked over to him to see if he had an answer, but the look on his face looked almost as confused as her own. Thinking that maybe this was a human thing, she looked over to Jes to see if she had an answer she’d give them. She was too busy playing with something on the wall next to her with a bunch of buttons on it to notice her, though, so Angie gave up with that.
When she turned her head back around this time, the Digimon and their partners were gone from the ‘Televison’. In their place was a group of people sitting around a table, eating food that was just brought to them by anther human.
After about half a minute of that, they all disappeared for a moment into blackness. Her eyes widened, imagining that was some kind of powerful attack from an equally powerful Digimon. What appeared next confused her even more: constant images of food, accompanied by someone\'s voice discussing how good the food was. The Angewomon, now quite confused, looked at her mate to see if he had any more insight about this. He didn\'t.
“Jes, what--”
“Don\'t try to understand it. You\'re not going to.”
“We try, Jes, but this is all very complicated,” Lex answered, giggling at a human that was dressed in positively ridiculous clothing that also looked like it was somehow involved in distributing food to other humans.
“Jes, why--”
* * * * * * * * * *
“We\'re back,” Jamie\'s voice announced as the door opened. Jes sighed with mild relief as she saw Oliver come in behind him. She was glad that he was back, even if she couldn\'t explain why. It was probably related to how his Digimon was acting, and how much she wished he would just be quiet and wait for his food. No sooner had the thought come to mind did Lex jump eagerly at Jamie, pawing eagerly at the bags of food, with his mate following closely behind. They were inseparable; it was almost nauseating, the way that they never stopped.
“Calm down, let me get it unpacked first,” he said with an insistent tone. Jes watched Lex reluctantly sit down, then watched as Angie, giggling, sat down on Lex\'s lap, immediately bringing his emotional state back to its regular, depressingly high state. No doubt he was thinking about sex again.
“Where\'s my chicken?” Jes asked, exasperated by the antics of the other two. Jamie tossed one of the bags at her, which she immediately opened, finding a white styrofoam container inside. Opening it, she found what was probably her favorite thing here in the Real World: fried chicken. The sight of the crispy, yet juicy, still-steaming meat brought a smile to the BiRemon\'s face, making her forget about everything else in her life for a few moments as she took a bite out of the piping hot, lightly spiced bird.
“What\'s this called?” Angie asked, interrupting the moment Jes had to savor her chicken.
“It\'s a burger,” Oliver explained. The Angewomon looked like she was going to ask something else, but she didn\'t, instead taking obvious joy in discovering things about her burger. A few seconds later, Lex interrupted her happiness with a similar question, just as stupid as the one that his mate had posed.
“What\'s this?”
“Fish,” Oliver answered, sitting on the other side of the bed Jes was on.
“And this?” he giggled, holding something up in his hand.
“Chips,” Jamie responded.
Jes sighed and closed her eyes, trying to shut out everything but her chicken. The noise of Lex\'s giggling, Angie\'s tittering, and a few wet kissing noises eventually made her give that up. When she opened her eyes, she was sitting almost a foot away from Oliver, much closer to him than when she had started; not because he had moved closer to her, but because she had moved closer to him. He turned and smiled at her, in between eating his own lunch.
She immediately felt blood rush to her face, so she didn\'t hesitate at all to turn her complete and undivided attention to the piece of half-eaten fried chicken. It didn\'t seem half as appealing to her as it had a few moments ago. She had this ... this something wrong with her that she could only compare to her time with Ned—and even then, it was only a small fraction of this. Jes didn\'t want to think about what that meant for her—she had no desire to go what she had to do when she lost Ned again. She had hidden for days from Jamie and his family, crying non-stop for days on end in a secluded place in a park near her tamer\'s house. What would happen when Oliver left to go back wherever he lived? There was no way for her to go with him, she wasn\'t his Digimon ... she was Jamie\'s, and however much she wanted a different tamer, there was nothing she could do about it. But she liked Oliver, and he liked her ... at least, he liked to have sex with her. The image of her running her tongue along the length of his dick immediately came to mind, followed by the image of his fingers sliding into her soaking wet pussy and thrusting wildly until she was brought to a yelping, body-tensing orgasm. As such images—the next one, a fictitious one that hadn\'t happened yet, featured him bending her down onto all fours and fucking her almost mercilessly—ran through her mind without any oversight from her conscious self. She could feel herself starting to grow wet with arousal in clear view of everyone else in the room.
She hid that particular fact about her body and at the same time tried to resolve her emotions by growling loudly at Oliver, jumping to the opposite side of the other bed, and biting into her chicken mercilessly. The guilt that surfaced when she took a brief look at Oliver\'s surprised and horrified face was mercilessly thrown back down without quarter. Jes took out her anger at the piece of chicken that was in her hand. There was no doubt in her mind, even though she wasn\'t looking, that everyone in the room was looking at her with something in between fear and distrust. That was fine; she didn\'t need anyone to like her; she didn\'t even want anyone to like her.
“Jes, are you alright?” Oliver\'s voice asked, accompanied by his hand on her shoulder.
“Let me be!” she growled again before disappearing from sight.
* * * * * * * * * *
“... Jes?” Jamie\'s eyes followed Oliver\'s hand as it fell through where his Digimon\'s body used to be. Jamie was well aware that Jes didn\'t really like anyone—especially him for taking her away from her mate—but he had never seen her act this way before.
“What\'s wrong with her, Jamie?” Oliver asked without moving from his spot kneeling on the bed next to where Jes had been.
“A lot ...” he responded, not knowing where to begin with the things he thought were wrong with her. He liked having a Digimon; the idea had always held a fascination with him, and when he finally got one, his dreams had suddenly come true for him; but Jes obviously wasn\'t thrilled with the arrangement at all.
“...” Turning back around and setting what remained of his food on the table, Oliver had a rather forlorn look on his face that made him think about why Oliver seemed so worried about her. Maybe there was more between the two of them than what had obviously happened because of her heat. He had put that off as her normal behavior because that was precisely what she did whenever she was like that—usually, she ran off, had some fun, and returned a the next morning, usually seeming quite dejected and brooding. He had never even considered the possibility that she had actually liked any of them; he wasn\'t even sure that she was capable of that emotion, really. It wasn\'t something that had ever crossed his mind, really.
“What\'s wrong, Oliver?” Lex\'s giddy voice—which was starting to take its toll on Jamie\'s usually very tolerant—asked, it\'s speaker hopping onto the bed next to his tamer.
“Nothing, Lex,”
“She\'ll be back,” he giggled. “She can\'t be away from her tamer forever.” The heavily robed, reptilian Digimon jumped up onto Oliver\'s lap.
“Hey, no! Don\'t do that!” he protested, pushing Lex away from him; he responded by climbing back onto Oliver and quickly kissing him.
“Ah! No!” Oliver pushed Lex away with a little more vigor, who laughed and hopped off of the bed into the waiting arms of his mate. Jamie grinned at the two of them. Oliver was going to have his hands full with the two of them for quite some time if they weren\'t changed any by being here in the Real World. Maybe he was lucky that Jes was a self-centered, introverted recluse with her own agenda most of the time. He couldn\'t help but feel bad for her, though. Whether it was his failure as a tamer or simply his Digimon\'s personality, there was nothing he could do except let Jes be Jes.
* * * * * * * * * *
Outside of the hotel, Jes was hiding in a tree in total concealment. There was a limit on how far away from her tamer she could be for how long, and during her time with Jamie, she had tested that limit, stretched it as far as she could, and gone beyond it. But no matter how hard she tried, she always ended up back with Jamie in a teleport initiated by his D-Ult that she could do nothing about. Once, she had even tried to destroy Jamie\'s digivice, the night that his brother had tried to come into her room and have sex with her. Obviously, it didn\'t work, or she wouldn\'t have been where she was standing now. A breath inhaled into Jes\' lungs, then left in a sigh through her mouth. She had originally teleported much farther away—as far as she possibly could—but something had brought her back. That something wasn\'t Jamie\'s digivice, though, and it certainly wasn\'t Jamie himself.
It was the other human ... Oliver. She hated herself right now for this. She used to be strong; she could overcome anything she went through when she was in the Digital World, but now she was weak, and she hated herself for it, along with this person who had brought her here to this world, Oliver, his Digimon, and his Digimon\'s mate.
The door to the hotel opened, and she quickly ducked her head down into the bush she was hiding behind, watching to see who it was between the green leaves. It was her ... \'companions\', if they could be called that. They were going outside...that was great, just wonderful. They had no idea where she was—she had long since destroyed the component of Jamie\'s D-ult that was used to determine her location—and they were just going to leave and go in town shopping or something. Not that she cared one way or the other. She didn\'t care one bit if thought twice about her, but--
Following Jamie and Lex was Oliver. Her eyes softened when she saw the dejected look on his face, but she quickly suppressed the emotion with a violent, almost neck-breaking shake of her head. That part of her that wanted that, wanted him, was quickly growing more powerful, and there was less and less that she could do to keep it back. All she could do now was tell herself that if anything ever happened, she\'d feel exactly like she did three years ago when she had first lost Ned.
It suddenly occurred to her that Angie wasn\'t with them—not that it really mattered anyway, she would probably be in b ed after a passionate mating session with that reptilian moron.
“I don\'t see how this is going to work, I don\'t speak Japanese,” Oliver whineed, with his Digimon waddling next to him, his head completely covered by his hood.
“You don\'t need to, we\'re just going shopping.”
“Jamie, I don\'t really want to ...”
“Well, you don\'t have to. I just thought it\'d be a good idea. You know, something to do.”
“I\'d rather just stay here for a while...”
“Suit yourself,” Jamie responded, shrugging. He certainly wasn\'t bothered any by her absence. Jamie and Lex started walking down the sidewalk to a more populated area of the city, and Oliver walked back into the hotel, and presumably back to his room. Jes looked from one side to the other, trying to mentally sort out whether or not she should follow him back. If she did, then that would mean she was weak. If she didn\'t ... this might be her only chance to catch him alone ... unless Angie was still there. She sighed again at that realization, her ears twitching.
“Heehee...” The female voice of an all-too-familiar Angewomon giggled behind her. “Why don\'t you talk to him, Jes? You should...”
Turning around, she bared her teeth at the Digimon and stood up, quickly making the resolution not to go back to Oliver\'s room and do that, especially now that everyone else would be alerted to her activities. That was just ... embarrassing, and she was already embarrassed enough from being in the same bed with him with others around. She didn\'t need anything extra in the embarrassment department.
“Leave me alone,” she growled.
“... you aren\'t going to get anywhere with him being like that.”
“I don\'t know what you\'re talking about!”
“You were in bed with him,” Angie giggled.
“I\'m in heat!!!” she yelled. “I can\'t help it!”
“Then why\'d you come back during the night to sleep next to him?” Jes had an incredible, almost entirely undeniable urge to extend her claws, jump forward, rend and tear apart that white-garbed Digimon to wipe that giddy smile off of her face.
“I don\'t know!” she growled again, pushing the Angewomon violently off to the side and running off to a small conglomeration of buildings nearby where she could get away from her, wanting only to be left alone with her feelings. Jumping up onto the tops of some nearby buildings as quickly s she possibly could, she scampered away. From her new vantage point hiding on top of a half-completed skyscraper, she watched the Angewomon look around in confusion, sigh, shrug, and run down the path that Jamie and Lex had taken toward the city.
Jes immediately bit down on her tongue, wondering what it was she was supposed to do now. She could still go see Oliver ... maybe Angie didn\'t think that she would go back, maybe she would be safe...safe from them, safe from being embarrassed. She sighed and looked down at herself, looking down at her arms and remembering the feeling she got when she put that arm over Oliver while laying next to him, feeling the warmth of his body against her own. Sleep had come to her so easily that night. That was the first time she had been able to do that in almost a year. Any other night, she would have pulled a pillow against her and sobbed until total exhaustion overtook her body. She hated herself for that particular weakness, too.
She wanted to have that again, that peace of mind and ability to sleep without having to cry herself into exhaustion. Even if it was only once again, she decided she wanted to hug him again. It didn\'t matter that it wouldn\'t last—she knew it wouldn\'t—but just once she wanted to have that again. Making absolutely sure that Angie wasn\'t somewhere nearby, she jumped back down from building to building, making her way back to Oliver\'s room; and Oliver himself. Opening the door as silently as she could, she saw the human laying on the bed holding a pillow against his body, doing the same thing that she herself did every night. With the knowledge that it was possibly her own absence that was responsible for this, she felt a pang of guilt.
“Oliver.” she stated.
“... Jes?”
“Yes.” She answered, sitting on the edge of the bed opposite him, looking dir3ectly at him with a blank expression, not really aware what expression she was supposed to paint there.
“Why are you angry with me?”
“I\'m not ... I think ...”
“Then why ...?”
“...” She didn\'t really know what to say to answer that. She considered herself lucky when she was able to explain her emotions to herself, much less to anybody else.
“Are you embarrassed?” The BiRemon sighed. She didn\'t really want to talk with him; she just wanted to be with him.
“Jes, I ...”
“Silen ce.” she repeated what she had said the first time she had been with Oliver. This time, it wasn\'t as forceful or rough. She tried to include as much gentless as she could, punctuating the single word by sitting down on Oliver\'s lap, wrapping her legs around him and crossing her ankles behind his back, for the first time meeting his gaze. She had never looked at his eyes before; they were a very ... interesting ... shade of green.
Tilting her head slightly, she opened her mouth and pressed her mouth up against his, starting a make-out session that lasted for nearly twenty minutes. While pressing her tongue against his, Jes realized how much she enjoyed this, even though she was in heat. Her fur was growing quite wet between her legs, and there was a growing urge to feel something there. Tightening the grip of her legs on Oliver\'s back, her crotch pressed against his, which had grown quite hard over the past twenty minutes.
“Jes, I ...”
“Shhh.” she silenced him by rubbing her crotch against Oliver and kissing him with an almost animal hunger. “Mmrrr...”
The human took off his pants. Jes quickly turned her eyes downward, pressing against his crotch and rubbing it between her legs. Oliver moaned and ran his hands up along her legs, halting them on the curves of her stomach. A new wave of fluids coated her thighs and Oliver\'s dick from the touch. This was too much ... unable to take any more without getting some kind of satisfaction, she brought herself up over Oliver\'s dick and slowly eased herself over his tip with a loud moan.
Over the next few seconds, she slid herself over the rest of the human\'s cock, emitting a loud and satisfied murring noise when her lips touched the base and could be driven down no further. Seeking further pleasure, she began thrusting her hips against him with a hard force. Her claws found their way into Oliver\'s skin, but he didn\'t seem to mind. Starting to pant heavily from the arousal derived from the punishment she was receiving between her legs, she hugged Oliver tightly against her front while he fucked her, sucking on his face hungrily.
“Mmrrr...” she moaned, jamming herself down even harder to drive Oliver\'s dick faster and harder against her pussy, doing everything that she could to get more pleasure from the sex. It seemed to last forever, the digging of the nails and claws, the panting, the thrusting and the grabbing. She withdrew her legs from his back, laying her shins down on the bed next to Oliver and pushing him down onto the bed.
“Oh, God...Jes...” He joined her in thrusting, an unexpected action to her, bringing her yelping and moaning to a new level. “Jes, I\'m ...” she stopped listening to him, partially because she didn\'t really care what he had to say at the moment, and partially because the tip of his dick had just made contact with a particularly good spot inside of her, making her yelp more than loud enough to drown out anything he had to say. That contact also brought her to a quivering climax, and in turn, bringing Oliver to cum inside her. Breathing heavily, she sighed contentedly—the knowledge that he had just came into her brought a special kind of satisfaction that she only experienced when someone did that while she was in heat.
“Oliver...” she said with exhaustion, collapsing on top of him and easing off. Th human escaped from being under her, then did something he he had never done before: he cuddled her, hugging her closely and rubbing her back. That surprised her a great deal, and almost offended her. If it had been anyone else doing it, it would have, and she probably would have either killed them on the spot or seriously maimed them, enough so that they wouldn\'t do anything again. Instead, she closed her eyes and made a soft cooing noise, happy to have someone to hold her like this again. But how long would this last? He\'d eventually have to go home, and there was no way for her to go with him, unless Jamie wanted to go back to America with him.
That moment, she broke down. This time, rather than hiding from Oliver, running away from him, and trying to derive comfort from herself, she clung to Oliver, trying to derive some strength and comfort from him instead.
“Please,” she begged, starting to sob and hug him back tightly. She wanted to have a mate again, even if it was a human, but she didn\'t want to have to lose him again; how was she supposed to tell him that? “Please ... don\'t ... I can\'t ... again ...” she stumbled, not having the slightest clue exactly what to say.
“What?” he asked, tilting his head a little to the side. She decided to try another way, a way that she knew much better. She dug her claws into the human\'s arms, causing him deliberate pain, that growled a low, albeit audible growl, quite obviously startling the human.
“Don\'t _ ever _ leave me! I will kill you!”
“I won\'t, Jes. I promise.” his voice soothed her, and in a few minutes, the scratches in his back and the growl went away. When she took another look at paw and claws, they had Oliver\'s blood on them, and another major wave of guilt ran through her mind and body.
“I\'m sorry, Oliver. I\'m just ... so alone ...”
“You don\'t have to be,” his left hand slid under her and around to her back, where it pulled her against him and rubbed softly. She closed her eyes and let his words envelop her.
“Are you saying ... ...” she paused hesitantly, “You\'ll be my mate?”
He nodded slowly.
“Yes, I\'ll be your mate.” She broke down again, sobbing again. However, this time it was from joy, not from sadness or depression. Oliver continued to comfort her, taking his other hand and putting it on the back of her head, stroking it gently. This was peace...this was perfect, quintessential peace. With this new comfort holding her and gently stroking her head, she slowly fell into an sleepy state, driven there by the slow, rhythmic stroking of Oliver\'s hand.
“That noise...” he suddenly giggled.
“What noise?”
“Are you ... purring?” She realized that she was, bringing a soft laugh through it. He wasn\'t a Digimon, so he probably wouldn\'t understand things like that. Still...she hadn\'t purred for a long, long time. She had never had a reason to.
“Yes,” she blushed slightly.
“I like it,” he said with a smile that wasn\'t what she was expecting him to say, and her expression must have showed it. “You probably think that\'s strange.” his face turned a flush red.
“No, not really,” she answered. “Jamie likes it, too.”
“You let Jamie get this close to you?”
“I was asleep, dreaming. I woke up and found him laying next to me with his head on my chest—yes, like that...”
“Still...you let him do that? I\'m surprised, it doesn\'t seem like something you\'d do.”
“No! I threw him out the window!” she laughed, absentmindedly nuzzling her new mate\'s face as she tried to tell herself that it would be this way forever. “It\'s so nice to be held,” she said, her purring getting noticeably louder, now even audible to herself.
“It\'s nice to have someone to hold,” she answered.
This was all too much for her, she couldn\'t handle all of this in one day, so her body responded by taking her back o what was easily the most calming, peaceful sleep she had ever experienced.

Oliver smiled at the feeling of Jes\' fur against his hand. He had touched her before, of course, but that was either very brief, during sex, or both. He hadn\'t noticed it before, but she was quite soft. Fully resting his head on his new girlfriend/mate/whatever\'s chest just above her breasts continuing to pet her as he was before, slowly drifting off into sleep himself.
“I love you,” he whispered up to her head, cuddling his fuzzy companion lovingly.
“Mmmrr...I love you, too...” He moaned slightly with happiness at the mention. She was still half-asleep, but the words still meant a lot to him. He had never really had a serious girlfriend before. Granted, this wasn\'t exactly what he had pictured for his first serious relationship, but he wasn\'t complaining. Jes had a beautiful figure, she liked being with Oliver—at least, a little bit—and she was more or less emotionally stable. There was nothing more he really could have asked more, except maybe a human. That probably would have bothered him earlier, but now...not so much.
“Jes, are you awake?” he wanted to talk to her, to learn more about her. Maybe he would get lucky and learn why she was so angry at everything and everybody. It couldn\'t simply be that she was alone; no one got that angry at everything just because they were alone.
“Mmm...yeah...” she answered sleepily after he nudged her side a little.
“When everyone gets back, are you going to leave again?”
“No.” she answered simply, closing her eyes again. “I want to stay with you.”
“Good,” he said. “I wouldn\'t dream of anything else.” With that, the two of them finally went to sleep.
