Ocean depths chapter 9
Memories

It had been obvious how much it pained the otter to leave him be. The large male having gotten more and more excited throughout the night, leaving a few rather large hickies across his neck and chest. But the smell that still lingered kept him at bay. Or rather Lucas had protested against it, "not like this." He had said having to forcible push the otter off of him, who just whined loudly noses his side with that cold damp black nose that always wrinkled up afterwards.
"You smell fine," Carlson had put on a brave face though his cheek was twitching. "I don't mind the smell. I just want to be with you."
"I know what you want," Lucas had said kicking him off the bed. "Go take a cold shower before coming back."
"You tease me so!" Carlson said holding his chest again, wounded as he slumped out of the bed and headed out of the apartment not even bothering to grab his pants his thought never lingering from the man he had just been with.
He waved over at the Ms. Glide down the way as he headed into his apartment, Ms. Glide dropping her bag of grocery staring at him as he disappeared into his apartment.
Carlson quickly made his way into his bathroom turning on the water and climbing in not even bothering to wait until it got warm. His paws drifting down as he curled back against the tub, his webbed fingers rubbing his swollen sheath. Groaning at the aching need it had, and the lust that had been building in him ever sense that one night. The dull claws trailing through the bushy, curly fur around it that had grown in during puberty like all furs. Those webbed fingers holding his full sack, rolling his balls around as the very tip of his pride slipped from the opening. The darker shade of pink poked out, breathing fresh air.
He groaned rolling back in the tub as he pushed it out, wrapping a paw around it a bit half-heartedly and began to give himself a few jerks. He didn't want to have to do this. He wanted someone else to be doing it. Someone very specific to be doing it. Someone that made his heart beat fast and his breath catch in his throat whenever he saw him. Or how every time that man said his name a small tingle ran down his spine and through his tail. Those soft features so defined and unaltered by fur looking at him. How every thought and feeling could be so easily traced and seen across his face, without having to watch cues from ears or tails.
And the smell. Such a mild, normal smell that would be looked over by any human nose. A smell that clung to his cloths after the gym or coming back from work. If that nose could smell how he'd been around him when they bumped into each other on the stairway or when they ended up in the joint laundry room together would have gave him away his attentions instantly.
He was a human, something that Carlson never had a problem with. That he even liked in fact. A human though that had treated him with respect, without disgust and treated him like an equal even in the brief times they happened to run into each other. A human that had captivated him weeks ago when that man first moved in.
The human had been distressed obviously crying sometime earlier in the hour. Several boxes had come along with him and the otter had been out on a brisk midsummer night walk. He had been all too happy to offer a paw. And even then at that time he had checked him out. Staring as he went up the steps before him or the time when he climbed into the back, his ass up in the air, trying to grab the last box. It had been quite the show if he recalled. Pleasure rolling through him as his finger brushed that one spot, just thinking about it made him bite his lower lip letting out a deep groan. The water making his shaft slick between his fingers as he stroked himself in the warm stream of water coming down on him.
Throughout the following weeks they had bumped into each other as neighbors were bound to do. Only one time really came to mind. The time when they were doing laundry, one summer night. The only real time they had a chance to talk and he had blown it keeping his muzzle shut trying to think of what to say. Lucas had just come back from the gym, still dripping with sweat. He began his laundry before taking a shower. The male was reeking and the otter had to contain himself from pouncing on him. That smell was something that first attracted himself to him. It was agonizing trying to hide his bulge while trying his best to talk to him, only ever ending up shooting the breeze again.
But he had wanted more even then.
The otter could get nearly any fur he wanted or human if he chose carefully. But no one had interested him ever since he laid eyes on that one man. And no one had drifted into his dreams so many times, taunting him and teasing him mercilessly with that sweet innocent smile all he wanted to do was kiss and fuck.
The second he opened that door to put out the cans, seeing him trapped outside of his apartment he knew he couldn't let that opportunity slip by.
Giving the base of his shaft a good squeeze, stroking all the way up the tip as memories of that night came back to him. In a drunken haze as he kissed him. Holding him as he rubbed his paws up his sides and back down giving him a playful squeeze. His paw never straying far from between his legs as he licked his chest before nipping at his neck. The thought of him going down between his legs while the otter watched, rubbing the back of his head was enough to finish him after that small trip down memory lane.
He let the water continue to run. He just laid there, eyes closed with a large grin across his face as memories of that night still lingered. His blunt claws trailing up his chest, rubbing the sticky spunk from it. This time he was alone, next time he wouldn't be. He hoped as he finally pushed himself from the tub, turning off the water and getting ready to head back over.
Walking back into Lucas apartment he found the man he'd been chasing after sense they'd first met.
"That was fast," Lucas said looking over at him.
"It doesn't take long," Carlson mumbled from the doorway, taking the seat across from him, legs partially opened as he rested back in the chair. The otter in a loose pair of shorts and nothing else. His bare paws tossing themselves up onto the table, the web toes wiggling as he slid back in his seat. Lucas didn't bother asking what 'it' was as he eyed the man across from him.
"So tell me," Lucas said scooting a bit forward in his seat. "Do you really have a thing for humans?"
The otter shuddered at the comment, slouching back even more.
"Its not what you think."
"So you said half a dozen times before. So tell me, what is it then?" Lucas pressed.
"I've dated a few humans before, but it's not like I go out searching for humans alone." Carlson rubbed his eyes with a paw.
"Just any man that'll sleep with you?" Lucas joked. He sat back on the couch watching the otter across from him. He could reach out and grab one of the otter's toes he had stretched out so far.
Carlson rolled his eyes looking down at him, rocking his paws to the side to get a good view at him. "I look for someone like you."
Lucas blushed a bit, joking to make things easier. "Human you mean?"
"A sweet handsome man that takes my breath away." The otter said flatly. Lucas could feel his face flush again, unable to keep up the eye contact. "I never really asked. I'm not good at this kind of thing." The otter stretched, arching his back before resting back in the chair. "I'm horrible at it in fact." He tried to stay as nonchalant about it as possible but the more he spoke the more uncomfortable he was getting. "But I, I never properly asked."
Carlson pushed himself up, getting over and walking over to the couch. Sitting down, his tail folded neatly in his lap. "Lucas, will you go out with me?"
"Duh," Lucas rolled his eyes a bit amused pushing him with his foot. "I thought that was obvious."
"I know!" Carlson said tossing his paws up. "But I want to hear it," he looked over at him with big puppy dog eyes. "But I want to hear you say it."
Lucas sat up a bit, scooting over placing a hand on his paw. "Carlson, I will go out with you."
And the otter pounced him.
