Demon,

Devil's Medium.

"Iksar!"

The young human quailed at that voice. He knew he was going to get beaten again. He hadn't groomed Master Farran's horse after he came back from his hunting trip in the woods. He winced as he carefully moved onto his feet. He still hadn't recovered from yesterday's beating when he had accidentally dropped Master Farran's wine goblet. Master Farran had taken it as an attempt to spoil his reputation among the other nobles that were visiting him for week's end. Iksar moaned as he crab walked out of his den in the top most part of the hayloft. If he didn't get there soon, it'd be much worse, as he knew from experience.

"Boy, Get yer 'ide down 'ere, afore I do worse than tan it again!"

Iksar yelped as he jumped up and hit his head upon the roof of his den when Master Farran's voice yelled at him from directly below his feet.

There was silence from below as Master Farran heard his yelp. Iksar then heard the crush of hay, dirt, and sands as Master Farran paced below him. Iksar shivered. Master Farran only paced when he was drunk and angry. He shuddered as he remembered his first night here. he had refused to do what the sick noble had wanted. That night he had been beaten half to death. He learned from then on to do whatever he was told, but whenever it came to performing sexual acts for Master Farran and his noble buddies, he always refused. The other hands thought he was insane. They kept telling him to do it, and to find a noble that liked him so that he could get out of here. He finally told them that he would never give up his virginity unless it was to a girl that he truely loved. They swore that they would stay away from him from that day onward.

That lasted only a few days, for one of the stable hands had gotten his arm crushed by a stable door that had a very aggressive horse behind it. Iksar had knocked him out quickly, and dragged him up to his loft. There he had placed him down on his sleeping pallet, with his crushed arm on his chest. He looked around quickly, looking for anyone that might have seen him, and missed the eyes that were looking at him from the ladder. He took the risk, knowing that he could get in trouble for it, and clapped his hands together, concentrating, and slowly drawing them apart. What formed between them might have been called magic, but it was invisible to all the other people here, so he considered it a figment of his imagination. He stopped pulling apart his hands when he had a sizeable sphere between them. He dropped his left hand, and held his right palm up. He turned it down, looking at the other boy's crushed arm, and slowly pushed the sphere into it. He watched carefully to make sure he didn't do too much, or too little. It had to be just right. He watched and ........ felt ...... as the bones in the boy's arm reformed and realigned themselves to their propper areas. He stopped, pulling what was left of the energy back into himself, leaving the boy with nothing more than a very large bruise where before his arm had been useless. He looked up as a scrabbling sound came from his ladder, but seeing nothing, he shook it off. He froze as he realised that there was no way that he could get the other boy down from his loft. He decided to leave the boy there, and just get away from him, and hope that he thought he'd gone up to his loft to grab a nap. Unbeknownst to him, when the other stable hand woke up, and was confused about how he'd gotten there with a broken arm, the watcher from before made his way up, and told him everything. From that point forwards all the stable hands knew what he could do. Thay still stayed away from him, but when one of them got hurt too bad to work, they always managed to find their way to him, and walk away from him mostly healed.

"_ BOY! _" Came the slightly slurred and rage filled cry from Master Farran.

Iksar cursed his memmories, and jumped down to face the drunk Master of the Inn. He bit back a yelp as he landed on his cracked left heel. The bone still hadn't set, even with his strange ability to heal faster than others. He gave Master Farran a slight bow when he stood in front of him in the glowing lantern light of the stables.

"I'm here Master Farran." He whispered, while avoiding eye contact with his drunk Master.

"Iss about time you gots 'ere. You didna groom Majesty dis mornin' did ya Boy?" Master Farran pointed to the slightly unstable horse that he rode when he wanted to impress his noble brethren.

Iksar hung his head. "No Sir, I did not Sir."

Master Farran stared at him with somewhat blood shot eyes. "Why No' ?"

Because he's as mean as his owner. Iksar hung his head lower. "I forgot Sir. I've got so many things to do that you've given me, that .."

WHAP

The sound of a large fist going across another human's face. Master Farran stood over the prone and unconcious form of Iksar with a drunken leer.

"Boy, When I tells ya to do somat, you does it. It doant matter if you got other stuff to do, you does it." Master Farran leaned down close to observe Iksar. Once he realised he was unconcious he got an idea from his position. His drunk and cesspool filled mind decided that it was going to get what it wanted ever since the kid came here. He fumbled drunkenly for Iksar's belt, and had managed to get it over that cute butt that he had seen on a few occaisions. He'd just gotten his own leggings to below his knees, and his meat to a useable stiffness when he was interrupted by a holler from the Inn's stable entrance.

"Ho The Stables!" Came a Deep and powerfull voice.

Master Farran wasn't sure what to do. Here he was, about to ream one of his hands, and a customer, probably an important one from his voice, had just come in. It took all of five seconds for his fuzzed mind to make a descision. He stripped Iksar the rest of the way, and threw his form into Majesty's stable. The large horse shuffled, beginning to get it's own erection. Master Farran patted his beast of a horse.

"Now Now Majesty, doant 'urt 'im too badly till I get back and can have some fun as well." He gripped the horse by its ears roughly. "Got It?" He stared into its eyes.

The horse nodded carefully, trying to get him to release his grip so that he could finally screw the little tease of a human.

Master Farran patted the horse's head. "Good Boy. I'll go take care of that guy, and then I'll be back." He somewhat stumbled and strode his way out of the stables, and headed to the Inn's entrance. There in the fading light of the evening, he spotted a gentleman dressed in completely black clothing. Even the horse was a rare full black. The stranger, seeing someone walking towards him, got out of his sadle, and tripped, swinging him directly under the horse. The horse moved its head underneath, and snorted at him, almost as though it were irritated. Master Farran moved closer to the pair, and was unsure whether he was correct or not in assuming that this person was a noble, or a commoner to be thrown out. He blinked at the Stallion's glimmering coat. He recognised it for what it was. Nyght Fyre. It was a compound that made anything it touched appear to glow with shimmering sparkles. It also had to be applied once a month to keep whatever it was applied to silky smooth. Master Farran immediately went to his most ingratiating level, helping the man up, and dusting him off as quickly as possible.

"Hello Sir and welcome to the Moon Star Inn, I'm the Inn Keeper Master Farran. My stable hands are busy at the moment, so I'm afraid that I'm here to take your horse into the stables. If you'd like to go up to the Inn, I'll be with you shortly." He smiled, and ushered his absolutely filthy stinking rich guest to the Inn, while he took the horse's reigns to lead it to the stables.

The man dressed completely in black turned around with an after thought. "Oh, and sir, about my horse. He can be very temperamental. If he doesn't like something, he'll make his displeasure known. So be carefull with him, allright?"

Master Farran tried to pat the horse's snout, but it shied away from him. It didn't want anything to do with him. Master Farran frowned, and tried to pat it again, getting a little angry, the alcohol not helping.

"C'mon ye git. The sooner I get you stabled, the sooner I can milk yur owner for some cash that he doant need no more." The Black stallion flicked an ear in its master's direction before slowly following the human.

The stranger in black stopped, and turned around.

"Mister Farran, maybe I should accompany you just to make sure that he's stabled to my liking." He crossed his arms over his chest, and slowly walked towards his horse and the Inn keeper. Master Farran startled and the sudden rush of adrenaline into his system helped to clear away the gripping fog of his drunkenness.

"No No No. It's plenty fine sir. I'm sure he'll be very comfortable in the stables. My own horse is kept there, and he's yet to complain about his stall." He said with a slight twitch to the corner of his mouth. He watched nervously as the stranger stopped walking towards him when he was but a few feet away. He looked to his horse, and the horse looked back. Master Farran got an uneasy feeling watching the cloaked man and his horse. It was almost like they were talking to each other. He frowned. He had been assured that his horse was the only one that could truly interact with its owner in a way that others couldn't, that was why he'd paid such a price for it. He smiled inside at the memmory of killing the horse trader slowly and painfully days later. He startled as the horse he was leaning against slightly moved forwards and away from him, heading towards the stables. He panicked slightly. He was completely aware of what could be happening in the stalls right now, and in complete desperation he asked something that should never be asked of another without knowing them fully.

"So my good Sir, Might I enquire after your sexual needs?" Both horse and rider stopped. Master Farran got an extremely uneasy feeling as the cloaked rider turned to face him. Seeing as they were just within the light of the stables, his deep green, almost emerald eyes, glinted from beneath the cloak. The voice that came out from beneath that cloak was the most chilling thing that he ever could have heard.

"And Why, good sir, would you be enquiring about my ..... special ... needs?" The cloaked stranger moved around his horse, and stood before the Inn Keeper, making him realise just how tall and built he was. The stranger watched in detatched amusement as the inn keeper quaked in suppressed fear.

"I only wanted to know sir, because I can supply any need you might have, whether it be legal or not. Not many guards patrol this area and the few that do, patrol regularly for their own purposes." Master Farran grinned up at the imposing figure before him, remembering how he couldn't even get off of his horse right. His fear faded as his mind filled in certain blanks, and gave him the thought that this was just a noble trying to save his own butt because of a need that wasn't completely legal to fulfill.

The cloaked stranger sighed, releasing his arms. He brought his left arm up, and pulled his hood back, exposing his face to the inn keeper. Master Farran gasped, and backed away a little from the creature that was before him. He looked over the pointed ears, the glinting green Cat eyes, the slightly protruding muzzle, and the incisors just peeking out from the bottom of his top lip. Master Farran backed a little further away from the cat person. He blinked, watching those deadly lips and eyes move.

"So master inn keeper, do you think you can give me my need?" Master Farran nodded slowly, then gulped as the creature moved closer to him. He'd heard stories about these things. They called themselves the furred. They were nomadic tribes by nature, so they tended not to stay in any one place for too long, but when they did, it was because they were hunting. They were the best trackers and hunters known. They could follow a scent that was years old, and still track down the person or creature being hunted. They also had a very specific breeding cycle, no one's cycle was ever the same as anothers. One might have a cycle that followed the moon's path. Another might have one that only appeared once a year. He'd heard a story about one completely unlucky fur that could only breed once every four years! They said he was the best hunter in the world, because he didn't have his mind constantly on sex. Master Farran frowned. The rumours he'd heard also said that the last time he'd mated with a human, he'd killed her, and devoured her, leaving nothing but small piles of blood, and cracked bloodstained bones. Master Farran shook his head. He'd be damned if he was going to give one of his pride slaves to this thing. Whether it was the same fur or not, he wouldn't risk it. He blinked, the grinned up at the face accross from him.

"I don't know good sir, what is your need? Do you like them young, too young to breed, or do you like them old? Do you want a male or a female? Human or furred? Beautiful or ugly? Scarred or perfect? White or black? If you want a fur, you can have any breed you want, for the right price." Master Farran thought for a bit, sure that he'd left something out. he grinned. "Also, you can choose whether you want them to be attracted to one sex or the other." There, that should be enough for the bastard, not that I'll give him what he wants anyway. He grinned a darker grin than before.

The black rider blinked, anger flashing accross his eyes. He was seriously tempted to reach accross to the grinning human and crush his insignificant life of evil here and now. He'd just come to the conclusion, had put the thought to motion, and was about to reach out when a jibbering mind filled with pain, fear, anguish and sorrow screamed out, closely followed by the incomplete mind of the lust crazed.

He dropped to his knees, quickly clamping his paws over his ears as he heard a similar scream, and loud whinney accompany the silent voice. He turned to the stables, unaware of the suddenly white inn keeper behind him, and ran inside. He followed the sounds to the last stall in the stables, and came accross a sight that truly sickened him. There, right before him, was a fully grown Stallion, bucking and rearing into a small human, basically nothing more than a cub to his eyes. He breathed in the scents, and screwed his face up at the amount of fear and lust in the air. It was almost enough to make him regurgitate his morning meal, if there was anything left of it.

Before his eyes, he watched the stallion shove all the way into the small human again, making popping sounds as his internals split to accomadate the huge equine. This brought forth yet another agonised scream of terror from the human's mind, and making him rock from the strength of the impact. He gave a small sigh of relief as the mind stopped screaming and shut down, Then he froze in his own terror. The human slumped down, slowly sliding off of the horse's massive cock, and while he couldn't be sure, he was still positive that the horse's thickness was about that of his forearm. He watched for a moment longer, and saw the massive flared head pop out along with a considerable amount of the horse's sperm. The stallion backed off of the human, getting off of it's arms, which were now considerably crushed, and snorted at the creature infront of it. The rider blinked, then smashed the stall door inward, bent down to pick up the human, then stood up again, cradling it softly against himself. He carefully reached inside it's mind and blinked. It was still alive, but only barely so. He reached a little deeper inside, and was filled with such sorrow as he found out something else. This was not the first time that something like this had happened, and the feeling that accompanied it announced that this human knew that it would happen again and again, for the rest of it's life. The rider made up his mind and walked out of the stables. When he got out of the stables he looked at the inn keeper with such rage and malice, that the human fell flat on his ass.

"How much do you want for this human, Filth?" Master Farran blinked, almost shocked at what he had heard. He wasn't in trouble? The fur actually wanted to use Iksar? Sure he had his problems about that, mainly because he wanted to get to his ass first, but it looked like Majesty had beaten him to it. That horse'll be getting it tonight. Master Farran grinned, getting up slowly.

"The regular price is three silvers, but because he's straight, it's seven silvers for the night. That, and the fact that he's half dead, and probably wont suirvive the night anyway." He was startled badly when the cloaked fur picked him up by his collar, and lifted him well above head height, holding Iksar with his right arm.

"I didn't ask how much to rent him Human. How much do you want for him. I want to own him." He glared deep into the other creature's eyes to fully get his point accross. Master Farran's eyes widened, before slitting as his face was taken over by a sly smile. he could deffinately profit well from this trade, he might even get enough to buy three or five new slaves to work for him. He reached up and tapped at the arm hold ing him up. It released him, and he quickly dropped the few feet to the ground, stumbling as he landed badly.

"Well sir, if we're discussing a sale, maybe it's best we go inside for the night. You can get a room for the night, or a few days," He added with a leer." I'll stable your horse." So saying, Master Farran took the lead rope from the horse, and walked it into the stables, surprisingly enough without any complaint from the horse. He walked into the first stall, lead the horse in, took off the saddle and bridle, closed the stall door, and walked the fur into the inn. He stepped back, allowing the fur carrying Iksar to step through the door first. He grinned in sadistic pleasure as the fur gasped at the sight inside of the door. There were humans and furs every where. He had been mislead. From the outside it looked like it was a small inn, but inside, it was huge. The reason why is because it went underground. The rider moved forwards, placing his left arm against what looked like a solid bronze railing. He peered over the edge and got a dizzy spell. It looked like it went down for hundreds of metres. There were males and females of all types and sizes hanging from door ways, railings, posts, anything that could support body weight really. He felt the human in his arm shudder, making him remember what had happened, and that it was still without any type of clothing. Also the fact that it was leaking blood and semen on the moss green carpeting of the inn. He turned around carefully to face the inn keeper.

"I want a large room for three days, the human, Nice stalls for Moon Shadow, and any healers you might have here." The human twisted in his grasp, trying to hold its slightly bloated stomach. "I also want clothes for the human. Don't cheat me, and I'll pay well, try to cheat me, and you wont survive the night. Do you understand?" He growled lowly at the human, making him turn white, and bustle around a massive wood desk to the left of the inn's entrance. He watched as he touched a raised part of an intricate design set into the top of the desk, then blinked when it glowed a soft Yellow.

"Yes Master Farran?" Answered a Sultry voice.

"We have a new guest Thoi. He requires a very large room for three nights, Give him the thirteenth one on level D, if he wishes anything at all, do not come to me just do it. He also wants Merra, Sceryl, Gahs, Dai, and Kihn to join him in his rooms at once. Is this under..."

"But SIR!." Cut in the sultry voice, now anxious and possibly pouty, "Those are our five best healers, and all five of them are currently working on seperate patients. Can't we just give him some apprentice's and claim they're our best?"

Master Farran was livid. "NO!!" he roared into the glowing light. Most of the furs and humans crowding around the desk and newcomer backed away and returned to whatever they had been doing, not wishing to be on the receiving end of Master Farran when he was in a bad mood. There was a gasp from the other end, and the sultry voice returned.

"Yes master farran, I'll send runners for them right now sir." The light faded slightly as the speaker on the other side moved away from it, yet what she said was still clearly audible. "You, go find Dai, You, Gahs, He'll be with the king's third cousin, he was gutted this morning for trying to take a princess to his bed. You, Sceryl, he's with the other healers below teaching. You, Kihn, he's in the furnace room keeping the workers happy by healing their burns. You there, Yes you, Go find Merra, she'll be with the miners in O level, clearing their lungs of dust and salt." Scrabbling, yells, and running footsteps could be heard from the first order as the runners obeyed. The yellow light brightened as the sultry person returned. "There you go Sir, they're being found now. They should be in the thirteenth room of level D shortly."

Master Farran sighed, rubbing his meaty hand over his brow. "Thankyou Thoi, also have a seamstress or two go there as well, top quality. He's paying very well for his stay here." He touched the raised piece of wood again, and the glowing ceased. He stood up from his somewhat crouched position, and strode to the fur. "Now about the payment, Seeing as you're buying Iksar, booking a room for three days, plus food for you and your mount, not to mention appropriating five very much needed healers and two seamstress'. That is deffinately going to cost you." He grinned, doing mental calculations in his head. "Fifty gold pieces should cover everything, don't you think?"

The fur carrying Iksar smiled. "I don't have any money." He raised his left paw to stop the human from complaining, and possibly trying to attack him. "I do however have something that will more than cover the expense." He moved his left paw down to a satchel on his right side, mindful of Iksar, and brought out a small bag. He walked over to the desk, and placed it down. Using his left paw, he opened the tightly sealed bag, placed his paw in, and removed a glowing black cube. He smiled in grim amusement as the human froze in shock. He understood. It was very rare to see anyone carrying around the raw component for Nyght Fyre. Many paid hundreds for a single gram of it. He placed the one centimetre square cube upon the desk. He stepped away from the desk, and the priceless item that now lay upon it. Master Farran quickly signaled over a young equine girl to him. He was about to tell her to guide him to the thirteenth room of level D when he was interrupted by a cough. He looked up to the fur in the cloak.

"Should I be needing anything else at all, I will be given it, and payment taken from what's on the desk, is this acceptable?"

Master Farran nodded, "Yes of course Sir, anything you need. If Iksar dies, simply tell me, and we'll get you another slave you like." He turned once more to the equine. "Take him to the thirteenth room, on level D. Got it?" The young equine nodded, not saying a word. "Good girl, go." She bowed to Master Farran, then turned and bowed to the cloaked fur. Righting herself, she turned away, and began walking down the sloping path of the underground inn. The cloaked fur took a moment to grab his bag, and place it back in its holder, before following the young girl.

After going down four levels, she turned, placed her left hand upon the door she was facing, and walked in when her bracelett glowed red. She waited inside the door for the panther to walk inside. Once he was inside she closed the door, leaving them in darkness. She whispered one word.

"light"

All the candles, lanterns, and the three chandeliers lit up, casting their light all around the room. She watched the Panther move towards the bed, and gently place the human on it. She watched as he bent over and placed his paw against the human's head. She glanced downwards to the human's genitals, noting with a slight flush to her ebony cheeks that the human was male. She blinked, thinking what she had seen was her imagination, but upon taking a second look, she knew she had been right the first time. She looked down in sorrow. The young human's tail hole had been savaged severely by something huge. He was bleeding bad from several tears all around it. She gasped and jumped as an insistent knocking took place outside the door. She looked over to the Panther, but he was too engrossed in whatever he was doing, so she took it upon herself to let in whoever it was. Upon opening the door she was quickly and rudely shoved aside by several furs behind the door. She gave a yell as she fell badly braking her left thumb and first two fingers. The panther, alerted by her yell, turned around to see who intruded upon him.

'Good evening Honoured guest. I believe there is someone that requires healing?" Spoke the person within the sparkling white hooded robe. "My name is Gahs, and I do hope it's serious, because the king's cousin wont wait too much longer." He stopped speaking, and moved to his right as two more robed figures entered. One dressed in glinting brown hooded robes, the other dressed in flowing yellow.

"Ah. Merra, Sceryl, why are you two here?" Questioned Gahs.

Merra, the one in brown, answered for the both of them. "We were told to come here. Apparently there is someone in dire straights that needs healing. Might it be you Gahs? Have you finally healed one of the nobles so well, that their enemies have sent their assassins after you?" She said teasingly.

Gahs snorted. "Hardly, more like I healed them so well that they can't breed any more." Both he and Merra laughed quietly over a private joke.

The laughter was cut short as a squat bovine dressed in flaming red robes entered the room in a foul mood.

"Come on. What's the deal here? Why were you laughing? Why are there four of us here? Who's that? Is he a healer too? Why isn't anyone ......"

The reply was unanimous all around. "SHUT UP KIHN!" The bovine in red stopped immediately, hanging his head.

"I'm sorry, I've had a bad day, especially so since that idiot that runs this place decided to put a green worker on the boiler early this morning. I've been doing nothing but healing burns all day, and I'm somewhat exhausted." The male sniffled a little, clearly apologetic.

A soft, almost fluttery voice said, "That's allright Kihn. We all know you try your best here, whether it's recognised or not, we know you try." This made the bovine look up and around the room, a small smile playing accross his rubbery lips.

"Hello Dai. How long have you been here?"

The fluttery voice continued, a small amount of amusement seeping into it. "I've been here long enough to know that we are all wasting this fine gentleman's precious time." The young equine by the door gave a gasp as a wavery form made itself known to the occupants of the room.

"Good evening Miss Dai, I hope you weren't disturbed of anything too important?"

The blue, almost violet furred vixen dressed in shimmering blue, smiled kindly. "Not at all Gahs, however, may I suggest that you check the patients first before starting to bicker? Please?"

Gahs, robed completely in white, bowed low in defference to the vixen. "Of course Miss Dai. It was unwise of me to forget your lessons so early."

Dai smiled benignly. She nodded to Gahs, and moved closer to the bed, covering the few feet of space. She looked over the cloaked rider, and gave a soft smile. She leaned forwards, bringing her face to his twitching left ear. "I knew you would come here. I also know why you have come here." She brought up her left paw, and placed it upon his shoulder. Using a small amount of her will, she placed a small prison of ice around him to stop him from moving. He struggled wildly once he knew that he couldn't move. He couldn't even open his mouth to speak. "Although I know how and why you are here, I must confess that I do not know why you have done such a kind thing." She turned around to face the other healers in the room. She motioned to Kihn, and quickly explained that she wanted the human to be picked up and carried to the centre of the room. Kihn nodded, and picked up the slight human, somewhat surprised at his light weight. He moved to the centre, and waited.

"Excellent. Now, please place him carefully upon the floor. Jostle him as little as possible." She smiled once he had done so. She nodded, "Now all of you, take up the pentagram." The others nodded. Removing their hoods, they arranged themselves in a small circle around the human. They raised their arms up, allowing their seperate powers to flow out, and create the five starred, circular pentagram. They all lowered their arms, looking into the shining light before them. They assessed his injuries, each of the four others grimaced at the amount of damage he had sustained, and was still alive with. The human Gahs, blinked, and threw up his arms as a means of defence as a dark cloud rose up out of the prone form before them and pushed at him. He yelled, and stepped backwards, breaking the circle. Dai told everyone to raise their protections, and scolded Gahs for his foolishness.

"If that had've been a real demon, you would have been dead already. You've broken the circle, it can't be helped now." She sighed softly, looking down. The sounds of sobbing reached her ears, and she looked over to the door. There she saw the young equine that had lead the hunter to his rooms. She glanced over her form, taking note of the oddly shaped fingers on her left hand. She smiled. "Come here child, walk into the circle. If we're healing one, we may as well heal two. And wouldn't you like to be able to use your hand again soon?" the young equine nodded, and carefully got up. She shuffled slowly and carefully into the lit pentagram, now holding barely any white in its form. "That's it child, now, carefully sit down, and place your left paw upon the human's arm. That's it" She smiled and nodded as the equine girl did as she was told. She frowned as she gasped, then blinked in surprise. The others noted the strength of power that was radiating from the center of the room, but couldn't understand it the way that she could. Somehow, this human had gained great power. She stepped back in shock and horror. This was the same type of energy she had been feeling around the place for several years. It had always been small, but now ...... She stepped back and out of the circle, immediately feeling the energy deminish. But now something bad had happened. She looked back into the circle, and could barely make out the others still inside of it. They stood there, mesmerised by what was happening within. She slashed her paw at the circle, crackling energy washed away from the outer shell of the circle, but it was enough of a distraction for the others. They looked up, and focused upon her wavering form.

"_ Get out you fools. Get out of the circle before it kills you! _" She screamed in pure fear. Whatever this thing was, it couldn't possibly be entirely human, it had too much power. She watched, her heart in her throat, as the three remaining healers slowly got out of the pentagram. Her face fur fluffed dangerously as the power emenating from the child trippled in strength before snapping into place, far more stronger than before. She blinked, watching the cylindrical shell of the circle darken, and a wealth of knowledge appear. Sigils, Runes, Letters, Numerical sequences. She gasped in recognition of a partial note in the old tongue. 'The children of light and darkness shalt visit this world. Upon their destined meeting, shalt the fate of three worlds be decided by their struggles. The fate of man shalt come first, Followed by that of the beasts. The fate of the last world, that of the mixed race, shalt be the last, the hardest struggle of all. If either child should win outright, All shall lose.'

One thing kept repeating itself within her shocked mind. Dear gods no, not now. She blinked, then looked to the rider, making sure he was still where she had left him. She nodded at seeing his slightly crumpled form, but then she frowned. Had he moved from where she'd imprisoned him? No, no he couldn't have. Her stasis magics were the strongest in several leagues. You had to go to the nearest guild to find someone stronger than her. She turned her attention back to the increasingly darkening circle. The forms inside were only just barely discernable now. What? The forms..?

She widened her eyes yet again. "The child. Oh gods, what's going to happen to her?"

"I don't know Miss Dai, but shouldn't we try to stop this? This isn't something that should happen." Kihn shook his horned head in wonderment. "Hells, I know for a Fact that this shouldn't happen. I was watching the circle when I stepped out. I don't know how it happened exactly, but I know how to siphon energy from a wild use." He turned to Dai, the one who had trained them all in the use of healing magic. "How is that possible Miss Dai?" He queried, his eyes watering slightly from a wealth of knowledge that he wasn't capable of understanding.

Gahs nodded in understanding. "I have learned also. I have learned of the power hidden by the light." He turned to Dai., a strange, slightly chilling, smile upon his handsome face. "It seems you haven't taught me everything you knew about my abilities Teacher."

Dai shivered. The way he had said teacher .... It made her want to vomit. She grew uneasy. She hadn't forseen this. She'd known that the hunter would be here, but not the ............ creature. She couldn't bring herself to say boy. None of this was supposed to have happened, but it had, and still was. What was going to happen to them all? Dai staggered from the swirling energies, most of it was coming from the now obsidian circle, but some of it came from Gahs. She looked to his face noting his handsome face transformed by his glutinous sneer. His arms were outstretched, and between his palms gathered deadly brilliance. The light ball increased in size and brightness, but it was no where near bright enough to fight back the darkness. She closed her eyes, knowing what was to come. She had held back this knowledge for a reason. Although Gahs was decendant from a White Tiger, he was too human to understand his potential, and use it for the betterment of others.

Gahs spoke, initiating fully his intentions to everyone. "Wha - Rai." He screamed in maddened glee, fully aware that he was killing his own teacher with the power in his hands. Dai couldn't help flinching, opening her eyes to view her death as any strong fur would. Time slowed. Every heartbeat lasted longer and longer. Dai slowly swung her eyes to the right as something flickered just within her field of vision. It was the pentagram containing the injured human. There were four black ... things floating just outside of the pentagram. I wonder what those are? Her slowed thoughts contemplated as white lightning lashed towards her followed closely by a maniacal laugh. She looked back to her once student turned murderer, and finally closed her eyes to the brilliance of her death. Sound and time returned as she shivered in sudden darkness. Darkness? She opened her eyes, and looked in shock at an encompassing wall of darkness. What? Dai turned around, looking to see, and frowning when she saw that it completely encompassed her. She looked up, keeping her frown when she saw that it domed at the top, not even showing the roof of the room that was only three metres above the floor. "What's going on here?" She asked no one in particular. She jumped in terror as the most horrifying screech of agony, pain, and torment reached her sensitive ears from outside of the darkness. Her back hit, then slowly slid along the solid darkness. She gasped, completely forgetting what was happening as pure pleasure suddenly entered her body from her back. She cried out in pleasure, her hidden lips leaking then flushing her cream out of her body and soaking her robes. She fell backwards, completely uncaring that the black wall that had been surrounding her had dissipated like black smoke a few seconds after she had made contact with it. Small black motes floated around the suddenly still air of the room.

"Mistress Dai!" Shouted three terrified voices in unision. The three robed furs, previously suspended from helping by their confusion of gaining sudden knowledge and their fear of one of their own attacking their teacher, rushed over to inspect her for any injuries. The oxen noticed her scent before any of the others and fell over in shock a few paces from her. The other two actually made it to her side and had reached down before they noticed her smell simultaneously. Both puffed up their face fur and turned their heads as one, panting softly at her arousing scent. Merra the mouse got up first, if slightly unsteadily, and moved away from her teacher extremely confused about what had happened. She moved further away in order to think and get away from her teacher's scent. They had somehow gained incredible knowledge from something that wasn't possible, even to her new knowledge, and Gahs, Mistress Dai's first student, had shocked them all by turning upon her and using his new knowledge to try and kill her. She paused, flashing her gaze to the human and young horse inside the partly opaque pentagram. And then somehow, she thought, just before Gahs' bolt hit her, a black bolt flew from the circle and encapsulated Mistress Dai. Gahs' magic hit the darkness, and was absorbed without anything untoward happening ........... untill the second black bolt. She grimaced in recollection, skirting the black smear that used to be Gahs. She shivered, her terror threatening to well up again as she recalled exactly what had happened to Gahs. The bolt, one of the remaining three shifting black balls that had been circling the outside of the pentagram, lashed out at Gahs. The thing had shifted from its orbit and shot straight towards his stunned face. The thing hit Gahs with full force, making his head snap back, then the true horror began. It had rapidly spread over Gahs like some type of living ooze. Once it had covered him head to foot, including his robe, Gahs shook and emitted a scream of terror and pain so horrifying it had caused her to slap her hands upon her ears, futile as that may have been. The black ..... stuff ... shrank. It continued to shrink untill it disappeared. All that was left was a black smear upon the floor. She stopped her pacing, her mind catching something and making her turn. Oh.. was her only thought as she stared at the now clear pentagram and its occupants.

Sceryl had just gotten Dai to sit up when he inadvertantly moved his knee too close to Dai's crotch and made her cum again, much to his distress and embarrassment. Dai moaned vocally and got to her knees, leaving a very wet patch upon the carpeting she had been lying upon. She stood carefully, doing her utmost best not to touch her groin in anyway. She failed in her task when she stepped forwards, and her undergarments raised up to lightly caress her. She froze, doing her best to maintain her dignity as she came for the third time in ten or less minutes. She concentrated through her pleasure, and made her robes more loose around that particular area. She looked around, wondering what had happened during the time that she had been imprisoned. She felt confused. Just an hour ago she had known exactly what was going to happen, and what to do to stop or help it. She sighed audibly.

"I'm too old for this." She whispered to the room. She slowly and carefully made her way to the human and young horse, noting that the pentagram was slowly fading away. Of course it is, she thought to herself, one of its energy sources is dead, and the will holding it together has been unraveled. Dead? She looked around the room. Sceryl, just behind her, fidgeting nervously, the hunter, Merra by some black scorch mark, and the almost dissipated pentagram with its occupants. She looked to her right, spotting Kihn on the floor, holding his nose and avoiding eye contact with her. Surely I don't smell that bad? She frowned in thought, making her way over to the two younglings. She nudged a slippered toe accross her line, breaking the weak circle and unleashing a small amount of power into the room. Her fur bristled, Although it was nowhere near the level it had previously been, it was still strong. She whispered words of thanks to the gods that the filly hadn't been harmed. She rubbed her chin in thought at the odd position that she was in though. Her hands were curled around the young male's penis. He's still bleeding though ... that would explain the pleasure ... does that mean her hand is healed ... where is Gahs? Her thoughts tumbled around her head as she tried to make sense of things.

There was a small moan as the young equine moved, cuddling closer to the warm body next to her. She gripped what she held firmly, imagining that she was back home on her parents farm, milking their old cow Gina. She gave a happy snuffle as her dream focused on her parents. She hugged them in her dreams, and in reality hugged the boy Iksar.
